So this is currently my absolute favorite restaurant however, I’m quite disappointed. At first the portions were great. I typically get take out but when I dine in I’m an excellent tipper. Anywho I got takeout and this is what I get. This wasn’t even enough to share when typically I get one dish to share between me and my husband. This take out looks like a portion that was gathered from someone’s mostly eaten plate. Not even enough food for one person to get full on. It was literally a thin layer. I paid 20$ for this keep in mind and I got a literal HANDFUL of this dish. I’m going to give it a try one more time, but if I get a portion like this ever again I’ll stop doing take out. And will stop coming altogether. You will lose many customers not willing to give second chances.
Edit/update: Went in for lunch during the week and was extremely disappointed with the experience. While this place was worthy of four stars during my review several years ago, this is sadly no longer the case. The papaya salad had far too much fish sauce and also had a bit of rot on some of the tomatoes (picture included). We also ordered the tom kha soup and the server came out with tom yum, which we didn’t like. Also, prices have risen, and it seems like the quality of food does not match the current price.
Earlier review: Ordered the chicken satay, fresh rolls, avocado fresh rolls, chicken teriyaki dinner, mango sticky rice, and beef pho (not pictured). The chicken satay was most remarkable- I appreciated the authentic char on the exterior, as that is my favorite part of any grilled chicken item. The avocado fresh rolls were a nice vegetarian version of the fresh rolls that come with either chicken or shrimp. The mango sticky rice was tasty, but I would have liked more rice in the mango:rice ratio.
**UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT** Many years ago this place caught my eye, was not impressed...however...
I am a lover of all things Asia, with Korea being 1st and Thai being 2nd on my list of good eats. I came here recently and was very impressed with food. The taste is very authentic and fresh. As a matter of fact, when we walked in, they were hand cutting and preparing veggies. Definitely on my top list of places to eat!!! LOVE IT❤💜❤
Entrees were $17, appetizers were $10. We had:
Tom kha gai, the best dish of the night and the only one that tasted 'right'
Massuman curry (very small portion size), the curry tasted watered down and the lime was extremely overwhelming. Had i not known better, I'd say they put tom kha in my curry. It was ridiculous.
Phad kra pow gai (#60 "basil")
This was the star of the night for me, but there was almost no sauce, almost no basil and they put jalapenos in it instead of thai chilis.
Phad thai: this was inedible. Both my gf and I agreed. I tried to salvage it, i really did.
Spring rolls were fine, but not recommended.
Fresh rolls were pretty good. No complaints.
Ordered the pad Thai. Not as good as most I’ve had. The service and atmosphere was welcoming.
I always get it to go but I love the Food!!

Beautiful, superbly seasoned food.

Best fresh rolls & peanut sauce around!
Had a great experience here. The pad thai was amazing, and so was the chicken satay. Highly recommend.
Yea I’m never going back here again… I found 3 hairs in my food and they didn’t take it off my bill. It was also really dirty inside and when we went to wash our hands after we “ate” we found bugs in the bathroom. No thanks!!

The server didn't seem very excited to be there but the food was very good. Prices are reasonable.
Food was pretty good but they are being dishonest. They charge more than what they show on the menu and then won’t give you an itemized bill showing their math.
Food was good, but the bathroom is not accessible for someone in a wheelchair. They have a wooden divider that is in the way, so someone in a wheelchair doesn’t have room to get to the bathroom.
Chicken pad thai was delicious
Mediocre, bland food and terrible service. Much better options in the TriCities than this.
Incredible food! Generous portions and reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and quick! The avocado spring rolls were so flavorful and fresh, and the noodles are full of flavor.
Pad Thai is so good here.
Three of us had a wonderful lunch here. We had Tom Kha Kai Soup, Massaman curry with beef and Jasmin rice, Pad See Eew noodles and fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was so fresh and flavorful; I would definitely get any of these items again! We forgot to ask to spice the dishes up, but I will do that next time.
Says they close at 3. Got there at 2:15 and the closed sign is on the door. You'd think getting there 45 minutes before their posted close time would give me the chance to eat...
Great Pho
So I don’t really give bad reviews, but this one had me going. I am not sure if the lady at the front had a problem or it was her Monday or just busy but. two people in the restaurant and one order going when I walk in. Her customer service can improve a lot, couldn’t even ask her anything before she just walk off on me, and a smile never hurt anyone, like I mention maybe her Monday. The food it’s good but like average good. Nothing crazy. So not sure if I will be back. If you are in Pasco it make sense but to drive just to get food there well not to much. I appreciate and love the cousins and flavors. But the customer service killed it for me.
Never received my door dash order. I ordered before they closed, they cancelled one item so I know it.was received. Dasher went to pick up order and store was closed. Didn't answer our calls or dashers knock on front door. Had to call doordash to get it cancelled since still showed in progress. Used to be my goto for Thai close by. Too bad because I like their avocado curry but they arent the only place in town that makes it. Very frustrating.
Amazing service food is delicious if you like spicy food. I recommend the chicken pad Thai 😋 👌 Very delicious They ask you how spicy you want it from 1 to 10. I had it at a 5. It was Amazing
I had the pad Thai I recommend it to everyone delicious 😋
Food is delicious!
I had the pad thai, and it was just okay.
The pho is good
Food was wonderful. We ordered takeout close to closing and the food was delicious and service we great. Would definitely recommend. We order potstickers, and chicken Pho
Got some pad thai and pot stickers to go. The pot stickers were pretty average. Flavor was good, but the insides were mush so the texture was off. The pad thai was very lacking in flavor and also the amount of chicken was equivalent to a maybe a half of a breast. Wouldn't go back.
It's our consistently good go-to place for Thai in Pasco.

Came from St. Louis where we had a great Thai restaurant tried finding one here in Tri Cities this is the best! Great food never disappoints!
good food, nice atmosphere, good amount of food for the price and very quick service
Delicious!!!
Great food as always
The food is super salty. They do have some ok items like rolls, but most of the soups and curry are super salty and impossible to eat. Customer service doesn’t exist. The worst food take out ever
I ordered the pad Thai and fried rice through door dash. Both tasted completely burnt and like it was cooked on a dirty surface. It was expensive, 40$ for 2 things and had to toss them both. Extremely disappointed.
Ordered Fresh Rolls and Shu Mai for appetizers. Fantastic dishes with plenty of sauce for each. Thai Iced Teas were good, although too much cream. We both got Chicken Massaman Curry for entrees. Plenty of food, flavors were there, but … I ordered 1-star spice and my wife ordered 2-star. I would estimate that my dish was somewhere between 2-3 stars and my wife, who loves spicy food, got easily 4-star. Neither of us could eat the entrees, as a result. Brought them home to add more coconut milk to see if we can calm them down. 1 star off for that and 1 star off for service that was just … off and for it being just a tad bit expensive for what was served.
Have gotten good food here before, but customer service is terrible!!! I definitely recommend trying another Thai restaurant.
Excellent food! Excellent service. Stunned as to how fast my to go order was ready. I’ll drive from Kennewick for this. Pad Thai is the best in the region and the peanut sauce leaves me wanting more. The front end hosts were incredible. Thank you Kathy and Dawn for the wonderful customer service!
I had Kao Soy which is one of my favorite Thai dishes and they did a great job making it. My wife had the Pad See Ew and also enjoyed her meal. Friendly staff asked if they still had Kao Soy since it wasn't on the menu anymore and they said they would make it.
Worst tasting Pho I've ever eaten. These people don't have a clue. Try Bangkok in Kennewick by the mall.
Best food in town! Fresh rolls!! Pho!!
Larb was good.
Overall good place. Ordered the pad thai and it was delicious. The portion sizes worried me but they were surprisingly large and filling.
The food and the service was excellent very good
We love eating here! From pho to curry, pad thai, spring rolls, it's all great!
Excellent food! Last time I had Thai that good it was in Thailand. Friendly staff even though we came in late after hockey practice they were happy to serve us and the portions were generous. The chicken Satay is very tasty and for nostalgic reasons I enjoyed an ice cold tiger beer. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and staff.
I have now ordered twice, once for pickup and once for delivery. Sawadee Thai is the best I have found in the Tricities. I will drive from West Richland just to get more delicious and authentic dishes from this great group!
$24 for "spicy" combination seafood Kee Mao noodles with extra veg... it came wet with overcooked mushy noodles. Maybe one star spice. The Tom Yum was way too salty to finish. $11 for six standard nothing special very flat coconut prawns...the kind you get frozen from the store. I spent $57 with tax for not enough food for two. This place is far from remarkable. Definitely won't come back.
Wow probably the rudest customer service ever. I would go somewhere else for Thai. There’s Thai City, Thai Elephant, Mezzo Thai and Bangkok more tastier food and treat the customers with respect.
One of my favorite places in the Tri. Great curry, pho, phad thai, and drunken noodles! Very consistent product.
Kind of new to Thai cuisine, but the dish I ordered was very good! Also had fresh rolls with shrimp pad thai sauce.....delicious it was.
There was shrimp shells in my pad thai...the noodles were all stuck together in the take out container. When I put my fork in it the whole thing came out of the container. The flavor was very bland. Won't be going there again.
I ALWAYS get my pho from Sawadee Thai. Amazing food and sweet staff 💜 Definitely would give them a try!
So so delicious! Love the food. All the curry is amazing. I love how fresh everything tastes.
Small shop, but great food. 3 of us went, we all shared each other's dishes. And Thai iced tea. Never forget to order that. Especially at 95 degrees outside!
Ok, but asked for something to be not included in my dish but they included it anyways.
Great Pud Thai!
Overrated found the biggest Hair in our food
Delicious Thai cuisine. Best Larb I have ever had! Btw - they ARE open for dining.
Ordered pad thai, orange chicken, chicken satay and sticky rice. All 5 stars! Really good flavor and good portions. The orange chickens sauce was Sooooo good, the food was really fresh! Ordered online and the food was ready when I got to the restaurant. Will definitely order again!! #eatlocal
Ordered shrimp fresh rolls, chicken pad Thai, chicken pad see ew, and green curry. All very tasty! Received order for pick-up within 20 minutes of calling in order. Prompt service upon arrival. Will order again!
Always so delicious. We love the pad see eww, pad thai, and pot stickers. Highly recommend!
I ordered the fresh rolls and they were the BEST I've ever had. Hands down. So so good and beautiful! I'll be stopping by next time I'm in town!
Rude staff.... weve ordered twice rude both times. They can't seem to make up their minds what portion sizes they give out. The curry isn't the best in town either, too sweet in my opinion. Wont be going back....
DISGUSTING. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I DONT RECOMMEND. I ordered a pad Thai and when I got it the noodles were hard, cold, and had a hair in it. I was really disappointed in how slow it was too. It took 30 mins for my order to go through, another hour for it to be made and even when I got there to pick it up I had to wait another 15 mins. The manager was rude when I asked how long it would be. I had a long day at work and I was drained, his rude comments just made my day worse. Go here if you want to be disappointed.
I’m from Seattle so I’ve been spoiled with always having the best pho close to home. Since moving to Tri I’ve been trying to find my new pho place. Been here twice and both times had an awful salty-coppery broth that honestly made it inedible. The beef is cut thick and chunky with chewy fat which I’ve never seen it like that anywhere else, normally it’s extremely thinly sliced and almost falls apart. I also had it delivered and when it arrived the bag was full of broth that had spilled and was dripping. Overall, just bummed.
Always good conversation and yummy sour pad thai and lychee ginger candies...mmm
The food is alright i ordered the pad thai and grilled meat ball. When i ordered i asked to use the restroom I've notice the microwave is being used? A 4 star restaurant should never have a microwave in their kitchen and the grill meat is deep fried. The food is overpriced and not worth it. It was my first time and my last.
Wow, where do I start? We found this place on Uber Eats and thought we'd try something new. JACKPOT!! The spring rolls were very well wrapped, didn't fall apart even down to the smallest bite. The peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls was very rich and frankly one of the best I've had. The Pad Thai was outstanding, I haven't had that good of Pad Thai since we were in the Yakima area. We also tried the beef musaman. What is it about curry and potatoes? Wow, full of potatoes and beef. Love this place!!!! 😋👌
Probably the best Thai restaurant in the Tri-Cities. My wife and I pleasantly discovered this restaurant for lunch. Everything we ordered was delicious. The place is super clean and has a nice ambiance. My wife enjoyed Mango Curry with a choice of meat stewed in coconut milk with mango, onion, carrots and yellow curry. I really liked the Crispy Garlic Chicken with bite size pieces of chicken deep fried to a golden brown cooked with sweet garlic sauce. Both dishes came with a bowl of Jasmine Rice. They were spot on spice ratings (1-5) with (5) being the spiciest. I asked for a (2) rating and it was perfectly spiced and not over bearing. We will definitely come back to try other selections. They have a Lunch Buffet (only on Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM) for $11.00. It’s an excellent opportunity to try many different Thai preparations.
Very good food and friendly staff! Will go again for sure.
Garlic chicken was fantastic and service was great.
Food was amazing, prices were great as well. However, the thing that really stood out to me and made my visit above average was the great service provided by Jerry. It's not very often that you get an honest customer service experience from someone who genuinely cares and wants to make sure your experience is exceptional, so it was refreshing to get this next level service from Jerry.
Amazing curries!
Food was awesome but the TV had a nature show on with animals killing baby animals.it was gross
Fresh wraps w/ shrimp were delicious! We choose #31 with the seafood combo and #18 with chicken. Huge portions and everything was wonderful!
Feel so sorry for just the waiter and the chef who were the ONLY ones working tonight. Food was excellent, even if service was slow. Kudos to them for running a full house with only a two man team!
Incredible food and service was fast and top notch. Some on the best Pad Thai and Tom Yum that we’ve had. Owner was very friendly, I highly recommend 👍
It was my first time eating here. Took my daughter and grandkids for their Friday buffet. Lots of good food choices including salad and dessert. Not as big of a buffet as some in the area, but there was plenty to choose from. They did have one kids menu of nuggets and fries for the younger grandchildren. They did set us in the very back which worked well having the children. Service was great. We had a nice time. The food reminded me of Thia mixed with a little Indian.
Went to lunch with my cowerkers the food was amaizing ! Great service :)
Wonderful service. Food is top notch thank you
Small, noisy restaurant. Single greeter, server and cashier. She did it all. Service was fair but not many customers. Ordered stir fry but the dish was blah. It was spicy but lacked flavor.
Horrible customer service. The lady waiting tables seemed impatient for us to order. Two tables there and they were "too busy" to bring us hot sauce we asked for multiple times. Some of our food came out ice cold and some came out over cooked to all get out. As soon as we voiced out complaints the waitress became as cold as the food we were served. I would score it lower if i could. I Will not be back.
Food was mediocre at best. Seemed like it was leftovers. Soggy and not good flavors. Service was ok but when you are the only customers it should be.
I come here with my family at least once or twice a month. The food is good and consistent every time. The service is great, and the owner is friendly as well.
Yummy
Love the food. So good
Fabulous flavors happening👍👍
Very very tasty thai food. Get the avocado lettuce wrap so yummy.
We eat here often and enjoy talking to the owner. I told him the special would be much better with crushed peanuts and he immediately brought me some. My husband is glutenfree and they do a good job accommodating him. Portions are generous but not huge. My only negative is the place could use a little freshening up. And the restrooms painted and kept a little cleaner.
Amazing!
Well found hair in my pineapple curry kinda dissatisfying and now I have to go spend more money for food. Thanks next time you should wear a hair net smh....
Average Strip mall Thai food. Some are better, some are worse. Service was indifferent the day I was there. Response from the kitchen was pretty quick which I take as a bad sign.
The food was delicious. For appetizer we had spring rolls. They were fresh and delicious. The pad Thai and the shrimp and asparagus stir fry were excellent. Can’t wait to go back.
Fair amount of Thai food at an affordable price. I have been to this location several times. The first time I got a 3 star spice beef pad kee mao and it was the hottest thing I have ever put in my mouth. I was scared it would cause a chemical burn.
The last few times I have been, I have only ordered 2 star spicy level and it has been relatively mellow. Either the first time I went here was a fluke, or they have changed the amount of spice to more closely align with white people's tastebuds.
Very good shrimp and asparagus stir-fry
Great food and the best thai buffet around! It only operates on Friday, but you won’t be disappointed!
Excellent service. Great food. Friendly staff. I highly recommend coming to this place. Kind of a hole in the wall and easy to miss but you won’t be disappointed.
Food is good. The older guy was very kind and give good suggestions when we were there first time. However, the young lady did not add water for us even once when we were there second time. We waited and waited and drink up all water, but she just chose not to see it...Need to work on the service.
Friday lunch buffet is pretty nice.
My wife and I are foodies and somewhat Thai experts. The food selections here are great. We had our daughters with us for dinners tonight. We all had something different. If there were a 6 star rating Sawadee deserves it!
Always great. We always get great service when we go as well.
Have eaten here once and gotten take away twice and every time the food has been on point. Lived in Asia for four years and their food takes me right back there. One of my favorite spots for Asian cuisine.
Great food and service.
Buffet on Fridays. Good quality food.
Awesome food! I had the Pad Thai noodles and it was delicious! Very good, fast service and very clean! Very impressed and will definitely go back!
Excellent food, wonderful staff. We will be back.
excellent food, great service, nice atmosphere.
We pre-ordered and pre-paid through an app, but we dined in. Quick and Easy. Beautiful interior design. One thing tho, please remove the numbers above the tables. Our server was very kind, soft spoken and very attentive. Delicious food.
The food was bomb I've never had food that good before
First time here, and it won't be the last. The green avocado curry was delicious!
GREAT SERVICE! FOOD PRETTY GOOD ON BUFFET BUT VERY SMALL SELECTION. RATING AROUND 3.6 STARS. CLOSER TO 4 THAN 3 STARS.
Great food and service
Lunch buffet on Fridays is great.
Super Good food. Fresh veggies, great flavor.
Visited while I was having my vehicle serviced at McCurley Subaru. This restaurant is about 2 miles down the road. The signage on the main road says "Baan Khun Ya Thai Food," but the restaurant is Sawaddee Thai. I lived in Thailand for two years and try to find authentic dishes on the menus. The owner, Jerry, was running the front by himself and was a busy man. But I thought he did a great job managing seating, ordering, serving and (most important) refilling drinks. I showed up around 12:45 and stayed until 1:40 and there was a constant stream of customers. I ordered the Larb (pork, 3/5 spice level) with sticky rice. Jerry told me that might be a bit hot, but I assured him I lived in Thailand for an extended period and I could handle it. I thought the food was spot on to my order - spicy enough to make my nose water but not so hot that I couldn't eat the entire plate. It was good, with a great blend of spices. It comes with cabbage and cucumber and was a nice mid-day meal. It is worth a return visit in the future.
Good food ! Good service! Really good black rice puddinh! Yum!
Great food and prices and the staff is very nice. When I visit my family up here from portland Oregon we always go here for dinner
Good food but the manager there is a tool. He was hovering over us the whole time we were there. Then after my buddy paid when I was trying to leave he accused me of stealing and not paying for my meal right in front of everyone! Never going there again.
The food is always good. The mango curry is our favorite.
If you're hungry and around Road 68, this little hole-in-the-wall has some of the best food in the Tri-Cities. The Thai Cuisine compares to that of major cities. The cook is the owner's wife and from Thailand and she knows what she is doing. Also, they offer a low carbohydrate chicken pho with extra chicken that is a must eat.
Always very friendly. I have been going for over a year and have always been happy with my service and delicious food.
Good food and the owners are great people to get to know.
I'd rate the food 4.8 stars out of 5, the service 5.0 stars, the atmosphere 4.7, and the prices maybe a 4.5. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. If you like Thai food, then give it a whirl.
Two of the three dishes we're very tasty. The other one was cold and sauce was bad. Service was slow.
Absolutely excellent authentic Thai food. Verry good service and food.
Food was great! Great variety of Thai food.
Some of the best Thai I've eaten.
Wife wasn't pleased. Wait staff slow. Food is close to authentic.

Es buen lugar esta limpio y económico para comer
Small, pleasant ambiance, quiet and excellent REAL Thai food.
Waitress was courteous, efficient and very helpful explaining menu items.
They have the most authentic, delicious Thai food I've had in the longest time.
Great fresh thai food! Very flavorful dishes. One of the better thai restaurants I've been to.
Always great service and awesome food, has become our favourite Thai restaurant in the Tri-cities! And the owner is a football fan so the games are usually on :)
The owner is very nice and accommodating. Food is good but not great. Portions are generous, though.
Great restaurants under new ownership. Food was authentic and wonderful. Hope more people find out about this place and try it.
