I love this place! I'm so happy I found a new local spot with AMAZING food and service. The Boat Noodle Soup was delicious, and the broth was the best I've tasted in a LONG time. I felt the stress in my body wash away - it was that soothing.

Diner Review №3

Lovely atmosphere, super cool decorations going in all around. Music was chill. The food was ABSOLUTELY incredible. To die for. I will come back here, I will bring my children, and their children, and theirs for generations to come. If I could eat at one place for the rest of my life, this place would be in contention. Noodle Nation? Id call it Noodle Universe, because this is making me feel all kinds of ethereal things. I’m floating. 12/10. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №4

Great food. Variety of soup options.

Diner Review №5

One of the best thai places in Washington

Diner Review №6

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Lynnwood. I have tried every single noodle dish on the menu at this point and haven't been disappointed by a single item. Also the retro videogames while you wait for your order are a great touch.

Diner Review №7

I RECOMMEND you look at your take out food before leaving the place. I ordered ‘chicken phat thai’ take out and came home to only 2-3 pieces of chicken. When called to inform them, they didn’t believe me and asked me to drive back 20 min to show them. I give 0 for trust and accountability.

Diner Review №8

If you ate looking for more authentic Thai food, this is the place!

Diner Review №9

Diner Review №10

Best Tom-Kha in the world

Diner Review №11

Not the same as when it was at UW. When they brought out side of cheap chili pepper flakes when you ask for heat instead of cooking it into your food with chili paste then you know it's lost its roots. Pad thai bland, noodle soups that we used to love at UW even more disappointing.

just on my way to Seattle me and my wife stopped in at noodle nation. They have a bite and buy food for the restaurant people and for other people and then I had me a nice duck fried rice that was the best I ever had wanted to take the guy home, but he had kids. Next time

We were regulars at the when noodle nation before noodle nation moved from their University district home. It was really good to go back to their Lynnwood location. The good was just as good and fast service. I really enjoyed Tom Yum noodle soup and my partner enjoyed boat noodle soup. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Diner Review №16

Wonderful service and flavor. We are gluten-free and vegan and they have plenty of options. We loved the kids area with the little free arcade and play till you win claw machine. It made it a fun experience and gave us some adult time till the food came, which was fast!

Diner Review №17

We’ve gotten take out here a few times and our young kids love their pineapple fried rice (yellow curry), but this was our first time dining in and the atmosphere is so cool! We have three boys who love cars and trucks so they were thrilled with the decor. Good service, good food! Love the heavenly noodle too!

Tasty noodles! Reasonable prices

Diner Review №20

I’m from Thailand and my gf and I just found this place a couple weeks ago. We’ve ordered twice now and both times… Just unbelievable. I mean for crying out loud, how can this place be so damn good!
The noodles, just 10 out of 10. Wow, taste, flavor, heat. Top of the line. So good.

Appetizers, don’t even think about it. I want to give this place 0 stars so I can have this restaurant to myself haha I love the staff, and I love the restaurant layout. It looks just like a street shop in Bangkok!

Will be coming back for more! Possibly every weekend if I can!

Diner Review №24

Our go to Thai place! Our favorite dishes are the Pad Woon Sen and Guay Tiew Kua. Super flavorful.

Diner Review №25

My wife was really excited for us to try this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend if a friend. We tried the Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, chicken satay and the spring rolls. The Pad Thai was supposed to be really good, but unfortunately it was overcooked and the noodles were either mushy or burnt, and also broken into really small pieces. It tasted like it had been precooked and then rewarded in the wok. The Pad Woon Sen was pretty good, as were the spring rolls. The chicken satay was the strangest that I’ve ever had. Instead of being smaller pieces of chicken that were skewered, basted and grilled they were huge chunks of chicken (like half chicken breasts) that were skewered and grilled. The portion was huge, but lacked flavor, and peanut dipping sauce had separated into an oily mess that we couldn’t stir back together. The service was quick and friendly, but the food wasn’t the best. The atmosphere was more like a 50’s diner than a Thai restaurant, which was a little strange also.

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

Food was real good, Egg Noodle Seafood Tofu Tom Yum is what i ordered, mild spice level. The clectic atmosphere is not your usual Asian theme which is not good or bad just not your norm. Thr service is attentive and friendly.
If people are giving it 4 stars based on atmosphere they're doing the food a disservice since it could be the usual bamboo, cheap tables and chairs.
I'm definitely going back later this week before I leave town.

Diner Review №28

Diner Review №29

This is the best pad thai I've ever had the flavor profile is vast! I will be frequenting this place! Amazing atmosphere, super fast and friendly service parking was easy and open overall 10/10

Diner Review №30

Delicious authentic Thai food that I haven't been able to find in years. Wait was long but definitely worth the freshly made food. Will be coming back!

Diner Review №31

The food is good but the interior is odd for a Thai place. This place used to be a burger joint and was totally decked out in kitschy Americana decor like route 66 signs, classic car posters, vintage toys, flags and whatnot. They left it all up exactly like it was. It was kinda too much for a burger place, but it made more sense than it does for a Thai place. It almost takes away from the good food because it's so disjointed.

Diner Review №32

That was a yummy yummy noodle especially "Thai boat noodle" and thank you "Khun Tong" for a friendly service. We will be back!

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

Food are pretty good. This is my first time visited this place. Me and my son like it.

Diner Review №35

I used to eat boat noodles in Seattle. I was sad when the restaurant disappeared, but I found a new location here and went there. Definitely will go back!

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

First time here and the experience was great! Food was very delicious and the service was quick and attentive.
Recommend:
- Tom yum noodle soup (hot and sour)
- Boat noodle soup (very flavorful)
- Fish cake appetizer (great snack with rice)
The interior decor is also very unique and fun! Feels like I’m back in Thailand

Diner Review №38

Love this place. Best authentic Thai food we've had in the states, and there's only maybe 2 remote spots in thialand that we found that can beat their curries here, and the tom kha is up there too. The whole menu is great though, full of real thai food made the thai way. We haven't found a single dish that doesn't taste as good or better than what we get from a good restaurant when we travel over there. Run by a wonderful Thai family. While the vibe inside has kinda an american 1960s route 66 diner thing going on, we eat here often because the flavors put us right back to thialand. Aroy ma, Kop khun.

We ❤️ Noodle Nation! This is our favourite Thai food spot when we head down to Seattle from Vancouver (we’ll actually drive down specifically to come here sometimes). The duck fried rice and pad thai are our favourites. The thai iced tea is delicious. The service is super friendly and welcoming and the food always comes fast. The restaurant is also super cool and has really fun and interesting decorations. 10/10 — we will be back soon!

Diner Review №41

you know this place is good because it has a small asian kid running the register while doing homework. But seriously get the pad see ew 💗

Diner Review №42

All the noodles here are so good. Even the crispy egg noodles. Love it! Our new favorite noodle place!

Diner Review №43

As someone who has lived in Thailand amongst other countries as well as had a previous 12 year career in food, this place is now in my top 3 thai restaurants in Washington. The boat noodle soup blew me away.

Diner Review №44

Went for the first time today. I got the papaya prawn salad and Thai tea. Both were very fresh and yummy 😋. I will definitely will go here again. Excited to try the other dishes. Would recommend 👌.

Diner Review №45

The best thai curry in area. Definitely recommended the place.

Diner Review №46

Service good. Food, from freezer.

Diner Review №47

I have been PINING for spooky noodle from the long-closed Noodle Land in Redmond and LO AND BEHOLD! Noodle Nation has exactly the same dish with a different name! It made my whole week!!

Diner Review №48

I like the small noodle

Diner Review №49

Flavors were good but I got a chunk of ginger in my soup that was terrible to bite into.

Diner Review №50

The boat noodles are a bit too sweet for my Thai taste bud.

Diner Review №51

I ordered takeout and my noodle soup portion was really really small, not much meat either, seriously, it’s like an appetizer… not my first time here and I like the flavor but seems like the portion is just getting smaller and smaller, disappointed

Diner Review №52

My fav

Diner Review №53

The choice of cigarette ads as decoration is be interesting.

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

Had a good dinner here for take out. Really liked the Hellfire Noodles. Chicken Satay was solid, spring rolls too. The chicken wings were fine but nothing unique. The decor is rather interesting too

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

I ordered the Guay Jub and my friend ordered the Tom Yumm. The Broth on Both was SO flavorful!! Easily the best of ANY Thai soups I've ever had. The atmosphere/ decor is also very cute Americana, and it's clear that this is a small family business. Please help support and enjoy a delicious meal to boot!

Diner Review №58

This is a highly recommended restaurant. I really like this place with very friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The impressive interior is a bonus.

Diner Review №69

One of my favorite places in Seattle WA. I was very sad when they has to close the restaurant close to the UW.

But they are open again, a bit north. But as always a very nice atmosphere, the best Thai food in Seattle and great people … and very nice memories.

Coming back for more!

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

The first time I ate here I got yellow coconut curry. I almost cried eating it. This place was my introduction for Thai food and honestly it kind of ruined all the places afterwards. I haven’t found another place that serves curry that feels like a mothers hug in the way Noodle Nation does. I think the decor is also adorable, u can find the owners kids doing homework in the corner or helping out. My only thing is that is opens at 12, which means if you go to MTHS like I did you can’t come here during lunch, otherwise I would’ve gone broke senior year eating here everyday. Pad see ew and that brown broth sausage soup are also all delicious. Everything hits here. Get the Thai Iced Tea.

Diner Review №74

Food was very bland. Chicken wings were overcooked. Did the people that owned the last place just change the name? Last place had the same issue. Way to bland.

Diner Review №75

It was our first family trip to Seattle and found this amazing place!! The service was extraordinary and the Tom Yan and the pad Thai were exquisite!! The portion was very generous too! We tried 5 items, and everything was good but my best was Tom Yan and Pad Thai! My daughter made me swore her that we will try to visit one more time before we left and I kept that promise! Even though it was our second time in 3days but Tom Yan and pad thai tasted better and were the best we tried in a long time. Our family will go back to this place for sure😍

Diner Review №76

Noodle Nation is off of 44th Ave in Montlake Terrace/Lynnwood area in a strip mall that's next to Safeway. It's on the far corner, but whatever you do, don't miss it! What a great little place to grab some great food with good portions at a reasonable price! Once you step inside, it's like you're being taken back in time with all the collectibles/memorabilia that is everywhere you look. They don't have a lot of tables to sit at, but they were plenty busy with a steady stream of take-out orders. We are very glad to have stopped and tried this place. We will definitely be back!

Diner Review №77

I made another effort to go to Noodle Nation - perhaps my 3rd in a year and a half as opposed to Silver Spoon Thai which is My go-to Thai restaurant in Lynnwood (where I've always been successful).

I ordered the noodle duck meal and while the taste was reasonably satisfactory, the fact is there was far more duck skin than actual duck meat. I only had MAYBE three pieces of rather modest duck meat and about 4 or 5 significant pieces of duck skin.

Needless to say this was not a satisfactory experience

I will look for my next duck meal at Silver Spoon Thai

Diner Review №78

About a week or so ago before I went to this restaurant, I said "Thai food never blows me away like a good steak, pizza, hamburger, etc." I'm more into "American style cuisine" you could say.

That changed when my wife and I went here. We had the Chicken Wings, Phad Thai, and Guay Tiew Kua. Each of those were exceptionally good!

The service was real nice and friendly. They are short staff and upfront about there potentially being a longer than usual wait time, but we didn't think the wait was long!

I'm happy to say, our visit to Noodle Nation blew me away.

Diner Review №80

Ordered Tom yum noodle soup, boat noodles, and moon toon noodle soup. My wife so so disappointed at this restaurant but I didn't think it was so bad. It is not nearly as good as the pictures look, however. This is your run of the mill 4 star restaurant. I've had some great Tom yum soups in the past (best I've ever had was from Penang crusine in nj), and this yom yum broth unfortunately cannot hold a candle. A bit too sweet, not spicy enough even at 4 star spiciness, and not rich enough. The other 2 dishes were good but unexciting. The moon toon meat was very good.

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

The food was decent with decent sized portions. Small place with that 'hole in the wall' feel. The decor was very eclectic. I think they were going with the vibe of Thai street food. Lots of old school American memorabilia. Even the restroom reminded me of a stop along Route 66. I liked it very much for that part. The food was tasty but nothing special to be honest. Could have been better. Prices were decent. There were 6 of us and they took good care of us. Service was very attentive. Place was clean too. Worth a visit if you're in the area and crave some Thai food.

Diner Review №83

My new favorite Thai spot. Yummy food. Fast service. So much memorobilia to look at. Fun place for groups and kids.

Diner Review №84

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place so much. We have been coming to them since their uw location and it closed down suddenly and we were litterally devastated because they were the only amazing casual Thai place in Seattle. I’m so happy we found them and I’m telling everything tasted the same, the ambience, the people, the food. Please give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. We live 45 minutes away and it’s sooo worth it.

Diner Review №85

Fresh and delicious, this is a new favorite. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №86

Ordered Ba mee hang for my toddler and she won’t touch it after one bite, so I tried and it tasted like the noodle has gone bad. I frequent Thai food so I know what it tastes like. Cook came out and told repeatedly me it’s fresh out of Chinatown every Monday maybe because I’m Chinese ? He then left like it’s my problem that I don’t find it edible? I won’t return.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Tried their food based on high reviews. Not impressed. Ordered the Drunken Noodle, not a very large portion compared to other Thai restaurants I've had this at and not much chicken. Was hoping this might be my new go to.

Diner Review №96

The best Thai food in town! The owners are so nice and welcoming. Will definitely come back again. 10/10 recommended

Diner Review №97

Best and wonderful

Diner Review №98

One of the best Thai food in the town. Their dishes are authentic. I am waiting to reopen the restaurant.

Diner Review №99

I Will not come back. This Is not Authentic Thai , but Chinese chef instead. I’m disappointed because: veggie not fresh, carrot sliced so thin, portion is small, plate is cheap. Not recommend.

Diner Review №100

was good

Diner Review №101

The food, atmosphere, and staff are all amazing. Boat noodles and chicken wings are very tasty.

Diner Review №102

Food wasn't tasty like other Thai places that I like.

Diner Review №103

For everyone waiting for this place to come back like me - they’ve reopened in the Lynnwood/Mountlake Terrace area! I’ve been walking by the sign on the Ave every week hoping for an update

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №106

The best place for Thai boat noodle I’ve ever tried. The soup is very tasty! The restaurant is clean and staffs are friendly. Also the declaration of the place is awesome. I love the antique stuff and how colorful they are. I’m highly recommend. 🤩

Diner Review №107

My Wife and I love this place so much! The Guay Jub is a favorite. We have tried most of this menu and everything is super delicious. Definitely a must try if you live up north

Diner Review №108

Very delicious, authentic food. My wife is Thai and said its the best Thai restaurant in the area. It's the best food I've eaten in a long time. Very grateful they are close by!

Diner Review №109

Ordered the guay tiew kua (wide noodle stir fry) and the guay hub. Noodle stir fry was good: pork was better than most, tender and big pieces, noodles were good and well seasoned, char marks on noodles.

Guay jub is not for the faint of heart. Both meat types (fried pork and a braised beef chunks) were good. The broth was too sweet for our tastes.

Spice level doesn’t make sense. I got 3 stars and the noodle dish came with mild orange sauce on the side, no other spice. Soup wasn’t spicy at all at 2 stars.

Some of the better Thai food we’ve had. We’ll be back!

Diner Review №110

I miss this place so much!

Diner Review №111

The owners are very nice! They were located in Seattle 10 years! That's how you know they are good. The environment is great and the food is to die for. The best!

Diner Review №112

Good food. Good portions. Good people. I recommend this place. I got the everyday menu option changes everyday Awesome. Thank you.

Diner Review №113

Wonderful Thai lunch takeout!

Diner Review №114

Very welcoming spot for great Thai food! I was fascinated by the decor featuring vintage posters, Route 66 memorabilia, and lots of old cars and toys! Kept the dining area very visually interesting while our meal was prepared. I had Panang Curry and my wife had Pad Thai. We split the Papaya Salad. Had ample spice to bring a tear to my eye and a smile to my face. I really enjoyed the salad and entree. Great flavors and a delicious lunch!

Diner Review №115

The green curry was very nicely done. Sweet and spicy at the same time. They made it mild for me. The basil flavor was nicely juxtaposed with the coconut flavor, the tofu was well cooked.

Diner Review №116

I ordered take out based on the online recommendations, but was extremely disappointed. I would call the food edible but barely & not recommended. The chicken Pad Thai was bland & the noodles were mushy and overcooked! I ordered the spice level 3 (options of 1-5) and they had no spice or flavor but I was given crushed red peppers on the side to increase the heat level which didn’t help. The spring rolls were mushy inside even though they appeared cooked with a burnt flavor on the outside. A big waste of a pricey $30 take out meal for ONE person that ended up in the trash can.

Diner Review №117

Great food and the family who runs it are super nice people. Will be back!

Diner Review №118

I've done take-out twice, and it's been great! I'm a big fan of Isarn Thai in Lynnwood, so I was a little skeptical about this place measuring up, but I believe they serve different needs. Noodle Nation is a really good version of traditional thai food (what we're used to), whereas Isarn Thai is an exceptional version of northern Thai dishes that people are probably less familiar with. Noodle Nation does have an extensive menu, so in addition to the traditional stuff there are several house specialties that you might not have seen before.

I ordered the Phad Thai on my first visit, and it was great. Very bright and fresh. It's a big enough portion that if you're conservative it could be two meals (or shared), or you could indulge and eat the whole thing in one sitting. For my second time I ordered the Tom Kha soup, and my wife got the yellow curry. Both dishes were great. I was sick, and the Tom Kha soup hit the spot with my sore throat. The yellow curry had a nice balance of acidity and sweetness. I have a pretty good heat tolerance and I found that 3 Stars (out of 5) gave me enough heat without overpowering the food.

Been there twice in 4 days. It’s that good. Love all the noodle and rice dishes. Friendly service and amazing decors and vibe. Perfect for group of friends or family with young kids or teenagers (yes, they might think you’re cool for taking them here.) I think it’s going to be a destination restaurant; people from across town are going to make their way here once the word gets out.

Diner Review №129

I used to go to their former location near the UW all the time. Recently learned that they moved to this location. The food is still, as always, wonderful! Definitely worth making the trip up any day!

Diner Review №130

Went there to try their food out after reading on FB that they moved here. I’m a noodle lover so I invited my husband, his son and his colleague to try it out. It was delicious especially the Guay Jub I haven’t had that in so many years. The owners were nice with great service and smiles. And their daughter at 10 years old helping Mom and Dad out was adorable. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
I definitely recommend this place.

Diner Review №150

I thought the food gonna be good because they have so many good reviews. But it was terrible. The table was oily and nasty. I ordered Pad Thai and it was the worst Pad Thai that I ever had. The noodle was clogged together and the sauce tasted like ketchup. The vegetable on the side was a little stale. I ordered seafood as my choice of meat for the Pad Thai and they did not even tell me that they charge more for the seafood. The seafood they put was cheap frozen stuff. Three shrimps, two pieces of octopuses, and fish ball. Also, they require mandatory service fee. I will never visit this place again, and I do not recommend this place at all. The customer service was nice, but I really hope they can improve their flavors and food quality.

Diner Review №151

Diner Review №152

Diner Review №156

Really yummy food! Everything we got was great, the decor was cute, service was good and prices affordable.
The duck fried rice was so fragrant and savory - I realized that the oily roast duck skin is perfect for fried rice cuz the flavor just seeps into every grain. Super excellent comfort food. Definitely a solid reorder.
The Tom yum soup was the perfect blend of tangy and spicy, and great with our choice of wide flat rice noodles. Lots of crunchy bean sprouts in there too.
Lastly the papaya salad was very fresh and light, and I particularly liked the addition of blanched/raw cabbage and green beans which added an extra layer of crunchy textures. Super satisfying especially during warmer weather. Definitely a good Ave eat :)

Noodle Nation, University Way NE, Seattle, WA

Noodle Nation is definitely a go-to place for noodles on the Ave in the University
District. The atmosphere isn't fine dining (definitely funky), but the quality and the
authentic flavourful experience is. The lower end pricing (almost every main dish is $9.95 with only a few meat/seafood items with upcharge), combined with generous portions and fast service make it one of the better local U district noodle house finds. The menu is colourful and easy to read and understand with vibrant images of the variety of dishes served. Items range from appetisers, noodles, stir fries, curries, soup, salad and the familiar classics such as Phad Thai and Phad See Lew. I especially liked the selection of noodles available in which to choose from in preparing many items in addition to the simple way spice/heat levels were indicated by avoiding the iffy star system. On this visit we started with a spring roll appetizer which featured ample shrimp and fresh ingredients accompanied with an excellent peanut dipping sauce with just the right amount of chili oil and spices.

The presentation was also quite visually appealing as the additional use of lettuce leaves which are usually discarded in process were artfully incorporated. Following we had the Garlic Fried Rice, wok fried jasmine rice (amazingly flavourful with a slight crunch to just the right amount of kernels) featuring garlic, egg, cilantro and green onion with a selected meat choice of chicken. We also ordered the Tom Yum Noodle Soup, a hot and sour broth with bean sprouts, ground peanuts, green onion and cilantro. For the soup we selected the mami noodles with a meat choice of chicken which again was really delicious. This is a family and friends run establishment where the outgoing friendly and welcoming service is definitely reflective of such.

Diner Review №175

Went to this place because I saw that it was highly reviewed. Rarely do I ever give 1 star but this place was such a disappoinment. Maybe it was good a few years ago but it most certainly isn't now. I'd say the biggest offense was the food. It taste like someone just whipped it up with leftover ingredients. I understand that Covid has affected every business but you have to have standards.

My verdict is avoid, for now.

We tried the Guay Jub noodle soup with 4/4 spiciness. It was really really good. The rolled noodles are very unique. The server told us they are homemade noodles. My only regret is we didnt try more dishes (because we just had an Arepa).
Friendly and fast staff. Great atmosphere with unique old timey signs on the wall.

I love me some thai food and its not often I make it down to the U district. But when I do I treat myself to some noodle nation.... why? cause the service is ridiculously fast, beyond friendly service, and the pad thai is amazing

Noodle Nation is literally my favorite. The pad see lew and yellow curry (with sticky rice!!) are my absolute favorites. I'd probably be able to afford a down payment on a car that reliably starts every day if I didn't love Noodle Nation so much.

Hungry? Noodle Nation. Bored? Noodle Nation. Depressed? Noodle Nation. Cold? Noodle Nation. Breathing? Noodle Nation.
