Kati Vegan Thai truly exceeded expectations! The portabella mushrooms were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The vegan pot stickers were a delightful surprise, crispy on the outside and filled with savory goodness.
The red curry with plant-based meat was a culinary masterpiece. The rich, aromatic curry sauce was perfectly balanced, and the plant-based meat was incredibly satisfying. Paired with the fragrant purple rice, it was a truly memorable meal.
A special shoutout to our server, Earn. Her expertise and friendly demeanor made the dining experience even more enjoyable. She expertly guided us through the menu and ensured we had a fantastic meal. Thank you, Earn, for your top-notch service!
- Good Massaman curry, skip the Roti -
Food: 3 stars
Price: 2 stars
Service: 3 stars
Ambiance: 4 stars
Overall: 3 stars
We came here on Sunday night and most of the big tables are taken at 5:35pm. There were 4 small tables available, and we grabbed the one at the corner of the restaurant.
I ordered the massaman curry for $20, roti for $5, and hubby ordered the old-style pad thai for $20. We got our food after a short wait around 7 minutes, and the curry was great. There was about 5-6 fried tofu in there with 5 small chunks of potato, and I saw some spices such as a cinnamon stick and bay leaf. It's my first time eating massaman curry, so I can't really compare it to anywhere else. However, I enjoyed the taste of it, and the aftertaste was spicy.
I'd totally recommend skipping the Roti as you can easily make better ones from frozen packages from asian grocery stores. It was such a disappointment when I saw it. The best roti I've had is from Banana leaf in Vancouver, BC. I haven't found anything that's close to that.. order rice with the curry would be a better choice here.
The old-style pad thai is similar to ones from other places, but it's more mushy. My husband didn't enjoy it that much, but I think it's on par with other places despite a small portion.
The ambiance was great here with the décor, but the food wasn't that good and I found the price higher than what they should have been. Maybe it's the totem lake pricing, but paying $20 for curry without rice seems crazy.
I might still come back for the curry, but I'm more likely to visit the Box or elsewhere if we're in the area again.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant recently and feel compelled to share it.
First, the restaurant strictly prohibits outside food, which is understandable. However, we had a small cake due to dietary restrictions and simply wanted to cut it after our meal.
Despite explaining this to the staff, they were inflexible and refused to allow us to do so without charging a $10 fee. This policy felt unreasonable and unnecessarily rigid, which dampened the overall atmosphere of our gathering.
Furthermore, the food is overpriced given the portion sizes and quality. It seems overhyped, and we didn’t feel that the value matched what we were paying.
The restaurant itself is also quite small when compared to their SLU location, which offers a much more comfortable dining experience.
Adding to our disappointment, a service fee was automatically applied to the bill, despite the lackluster service. The staff was not attentive, and given the overall poor experience, it felt unjustified.
In summary, I would strongly advise others to reconsider dining here, as the service, policies, and value for money left much to be desired. This visit truly spoiled what should have been an enjoyable occasion.
Mango salad was tangy & pad see ew was chewy and tasty! The dishes were prepared with speed. The pad see ew had crumbles of tofu (in addition to tofu with fried skin), which mimicked the texture of fried egg that I appreciated.
Great for casual lunch after shopping at Totem Lake Mall.
Kati Vegan Thai Restaurant in Kirkland has become our absolute favorite spot for Thai cuisine. The food here is simply superior—rich in flavor and consistently delicious. We've dined here over 10 times, and each experience has been nothing short of fantastic. Whether you're vegan or just a lover of great Thai food, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended!
Ordered... Sum Tum salad, green curry, Holy basil fried rice, pine apple fried rice , cauliflower flower bomb and enjoyed the servings and service.. Really enjoyable

Been here before and loved it but today topped every other time. I went with my 17 month old and he quickly decided he was done eating and not wanting to sit or be contained, at one point he actually laid on the floor. Someone could have asked me to leave, the staff could have asked me to not have him in the way but instead they sat down next to him and interacted with him (while he was still laying on the floor). They went above and beyond, were so kind and accommodating, and made what was momentarily embarrassing for me as a mom just another day for my 17 month old. And as always the food was amazing!
Kati Vegan Thai has quickly become our go-to spot for Thai food! As pure vegetarians who follow a Jain diet, finding restaurants that truly cater to our dietary needs without compromising on taste and quality can be challenging. However, Kati Vegan Thai exceeds expectations every time!
The food here is simply outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and bursting with authentic Thai spices. They go the extra mile to customize dishes for us, ensuring they align with our Jain dietary preferences while maintaining the rich, delicious flavors of Thai cuisine.
If you’re looking for the best Thai food that’s pure vegetarian, Jain-friendly, and incredibly delicious, look no further than Kati Vegan Thai!
Came for dinner after a movie. The food and cocktail ordered were so good! Seasoned and cooked so well that you forget it's a vegan restaurant. Staff was very friendly and checked up on us often. Restaurant on the smaller side because it's in the Totem Lake area, but definitely a recommend for those who don't mind skipping out on meat!
Perfection.

Oh. My. Word! Go here!!!
I just did takeout of the pumpkin curry substituting jackfruit for the tofu - Unbelievably flavorful. Unique food offerings- I want to try them all. Inside dining had the look and feel of a fast food deli style (small) that they jazzed up with mood lighting and decor. Makes it interesting and great for a more casual dining experience. $30 for take out for one (usually I see rice as part of the curry meal but here it’s an up charge.) was a bit on the expensive side but the quality and flavors make it worth it. I want to go back and tour the whole menu- was hard to choose.

Love the contemporary atmosphere with good music, good service & awesome vegan Thai food!!! Highly recommend.
We initially sat down at a 2 person table but my son wanted to sit next to me on the bench, and sat overlapping a 4 person table. I asked the server if that would be ok, and she said no I prefer you to sit at a two person table. I said that’s fine and told my son we were sliding over- then she just came over and put our place settings down at the table. I said oh I thought you wanted us to move, do you still want us to (bc you’re giving us table settings here)? And she said bluntly, I asked you to move twice, and you won’t move, I have no choice.” Never did we refuse to move.
we’ve been here several times before and never had this type of problem. for a restaurant that has a requested tip range of 20/22/25%, this is not acceptable.
the experience was humiliating and we will never be back
Lovely little place with very satisfying, delicious food. I’m not vegan, not even a vegetarian, but their food was so hearty and flavorful that I’ve been itching to go back. Loved their angel wings and the curries.
The food was good—no major complaints there. However, the service was disappointing, and the price was high with an automatic 20% gratuity.
We visited around 8:30 pm, and the place felt very congested. The service seemed to focus solely on delivering food from the kitchen to the table, with little effort beyond that. For instance, she kept the order of the other person taking my plate and putting it there. There was not enough space on table.
What really shocked us was when our server took my 2.5-year-old's plate away while he was still eating. When we mentioned it, the server said the restaurant closes at 9, but it was already 9:05 by then. It would have been helpful if they had warned us earlier that we wouldn’t have enough time to finish. Our food didn’t even arrive until 8:45 to 8:50 pm.
To make matters worse, they added a default 20% tip, counting the child as a full person. Either ease up on the tipping policy (or give us an option) or stop taking plates away because it’s late.
Overall, I wouldn’t return due to this unpleasant experience.
If there is a place to complain about forced gratuity, I would love to
I love the concept and the sustainability . The blood orange margarita was amazing. Infact better than most margaritas available around establishments in Kirkland.
However the food lacked dimension.
Jackfruit, ripe and unripe , is a staple in my country and was disappointed with the garlic jackfruit. it was fried to where it lost all flavor of jackfruit. I couldn’t taste any jackfruit.
Also If they can crack the vegetarian version of the umami/ fish sauce taste, and up the spice level ( fresh green and red chilies) it will be perfect. I want the heat and the umami.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! With gf options! So amazing!
Excellent food! Eggplant was very good!
Decent rice dish, a bit costly for the quality. But I’m used to Arayas.
It may be I just don’t like their cooking style, but for the cost I want better.

I recently dined at this overpriced establishment, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The service was shockingly rude; the waitstaff treated us as if we were a burden rather than customers. It felt like we were invisible, despite their automatic 20% gratuity being tacked onto our bill – an amount they definitely did not earn.
The prices here are absurd for the quality and service provided. You could easily find a similar restaurant nearby that offers not only better food but also outstanding service. If someone offered me a free dinner here, I wouldn’t even consider it. I’d rather eat instant noodles at home.
Do yourself a favor and skip this place. You’ll be glad you did!

Very expensive..poor service .staf not friendly
Kati SLU is very close to my heart. Be it happy or sad, I felt so comfortable getting food from Kati SLU. It was also one of the first restaurants I had eaten from when I was new to the greater Seattle area. There are a bunch of items I frequently buy from Kati, and Kra Pao is one among them.
This was my first time ordering from Kirkland. I got the Kra Pao to simply celebrate my birthday in solitude. I was slightly disappointed. It nowhere tasted close to what I get from SLU. It was more watery with bigger chunks of the plant meat.
Best Thai in Kirkland

Famous for Thai preparations, first time visiting a Thai restaurant, on invitation of relatives, liked the food
Excellent vegan food here. The jackfruit on sticky rice is definitely a must try. Pot stickers hit the spot. Khao soi had a little heat, but was worth getting again. pad keemao was definitely well done and a light noodle dish.
What an amazing vegan Thai restaurant this is. This is my go-to restaurant, and I have tried almost everything on their menu. Cauliflower bombs, garlic jackfruit, and portobello mushrooms are the best appetizers. If you like curries, go for the red or massaman curry, and I can bet you can never get enough of it. In short, close your eyes and pick a dish, and I bet it would be better than any other vegan Thai place you have ever been.
Delicious!
This place doesn’t have an air conditioner and it’s very warm to dine on a sunny day
The food was okay!
Delicious food, great service!
Overpriced and charges surcharge of 20% of party of 5 or over. Service was ordinary and slow. One of the servers was rude and not very friendly when we communicated one of the person in our party won’t join, she said we will still charge you extra. This is 25 mins prior to closure so there were no other customers coming in either. Anyway we would avoid the place from next time. Dislike 👎🏼 Kati Vegan Thai
Vegan, and gluten free options are great yet delicious. We loved all the food and especially sweet Sticky rice and Mango.
Very innovative given that it’s a vegan restaurant. One of the best Thai restaurants we have ever been to.
Love this place in Kirkland. Very clean, welcoming and great food. A must try.
It is very flavorful and not too spicy, which for us is great. Nice staff. It's a bit pricey for a vegan meal, though, so it's not the best cost benefit. The highlights are the fried tofu with peanuts sauce and the mango delight (dessert).
Mismanaged. They don’t know how to manage waitlist, reservations, walk-ins.
I've gone a couple times now, once on my birthday. I love it here, and not just because everything is vegan! That is definitely a big selling point, however, as it's one of the few places I can go with my vegetarian and meat-eating friends where we can actually eat family-style.
Speaking of family style, they'll bring extra bowls for the table for soup orders without you having to ask. All in all, servers are very sweet, although they do seem to get flustered if you ask for recommendations or a cocktail off the menu. You should definitely try their specialty cocktails!
The spicy (and gluten-free) dishes are clearly labeled - and not too spicy. They hit you on that first bite, but it was the perfect balance. Not too mild, not too hot. I'd like to swap out or add the garlic jackfruit sometime, but it's pretty pricey. The fried oyster mushroom appetizer was so crisp and light, and came with a great sauce, that I said I could eat a mountain of them.
As for desserts, you get free coconut ice cream on your birthday! And it comes in a cute coconut bowl. The mango sticky rice has butterfly pea flower in it, so it's blue! And they shaped it into a little heart, which was a nice touch.
Great Thai food. We tried the Cauliflower appetizer along with Tofu satay. Red curry and pineapple rice. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great. Don't forget to try their garden secret and Cucumber cocktails.
Unfortunately my food tasted like chlorine. I got the noodle soup and I found it inedible. I will say that I don’t typically drink tap water at restaurants, as I am sensitive to water treatment chemicals. Felt like I had been to the pool and swallowed some. Wish they used filtered water (or perhaps a higher quality filter) because otherwise the food was gorgeous and I love supporting vegan restaurants.
Portion size to cost ratio is really bad, and the place has mediocre food these days compared to how it used to be or other better Thai places. I hate to negatively review a vegan restaurant but their pricing is unacceptable and the food doesn’t taste fresh. The red curry was filled with canned pineapples, and the tofu in our pad thai was clearly cold and fried well beforehand.
The pricing is my biggest gripe, though we all tried to eat a small amount of rice and a large amount of curry, two $4 orders ($8 total) of jasmine rice wasn’t enough to finish the curry. And the devil wings quantity has reduced to the point where there’s barely any (most of the quantity is the crispy noodles that no one wants) and most of the “wings” are just batter bits rather than oyster mushrooms.
Food was served after a lot of delay. I ordered a pineapple fried rice and they didn't add Cashews and raisins to it - server took it back and brought back the same plate/food. The fried rice was also low on flavour.
Cauliflower bomb was pretty good. Portions were small (esp for the price)
This is just one of the few times I am able to pick anything on the menu and do not have to confirm if the dish has any meats fish etc. loved all of the dishes.
Visited it for mother's day. At one point there were only Indians in the restaurant.
Maybe they should play some Bollywood music?
One of our favorite restaurants. Don't be out off with the Vegan fare; every dish is innovative, fresh, creative, and created with a combination of flavors that work together beautifully. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We asked for less salt, and every dish was prepared with that clearly taken into account. It seems like nothing is pre-prepared, but is cooked totally to order and taste.
This is a fantastic gem, and I'm always happy to find them busy but not too busy. Even the ambiance and music create a positive vibe.
Highly recommend the Garlic Jackfruit on Sticky Rice, Devil Wings, Cauliflower Bombs, Satay, and Portobello Lover appetizers. The soups are fantastic. The curries and the Coastal Curry with Artichoke Hearts are superb.
Definitely don't miss the Mango and Sweet Sticky Rice dessert! It is really special.
Came across this assuming place when walking around the Village. We actually passed by a few times without noticing it lol.
We were not hungry so we focused on mainly appetizers and tom yum soup. Appetizers are in order of recommendation level:
- Jackfruit with sticky rice: Super flavorful and rice compliments the fruit well.
- Fried cauliflower bomb: It has medium spicy level in both cauliflower and the dipping sauce.
- Garden spring roll: Not as good as other similar restaurants, great source for veggies though.
One of the most rude waiters I have ever had . They are so rude that even we were on time they were forcing to take to go order . Seems they don’t want to work
Took my wife here for her birthday. It was by far the absolute worst Thai food we had. I have been to Kati in SLU and was never disappointed. This place was on the opposite end. We ordered sweet and sour stir fry and pad Thai. The stir fry was cold and tasted like tomato sauce. Stir fry is supposed to be hot. We did not taste any spices. I had high hopes for Pad Thai. It doesn't taste like pad Thai at all. Texture looked completely off as well. Hostess did ask for how our meal was. We responded it was not good. For a place that prides itself on customer service, hostess didn't utter a word. Our night was ruined. I hope SLU doesn't follow suit. I hope it's a one off thing - either the chef took off or we were super unlucky.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant today. I had heard good things about it from friends, so we chose to try it out. I love Thai food because it's freshly prepared and served hot. However, today it felt like the food had just been taken out of the fridge, heated, and served. It was the worst Thai food I've ever had. I am so disappointed with the taste and for our decision to choose this place since we wasted our energy and money as well
Great vegan food. Less sodium and sugar than other Thai places if I'd compare side by side, thus a little less ynf. But the food left me feeling freshly full compared to being knocked out! :) Notably gentle spice level thus a 4 star might come across as a bit mild. Wonderful experienced service/waitress.
I love their Khao Soi. Definitely the best vegetarian Khao soi in the area
Good food, reasonable portions for price, they will sub out tofu for jackfruit.
Note, card only (cashless)
Would go again, food looked very similar to pictures
Vegans will surely enjoy the food. They care for allergies also. Food Good.
Its one of our favorite vegan places. But disappointed today that it took an hour for them to get our take out order correctly. When they finally figured it out our correctly, the food tasted like it was rushed just to quickly make it . I would have preferred an apology then having our food taste bland ( enhancing the disappointment). It was an off day I hope.
The very best little vegetarian Thai restaurant with great options! The waitress Kassie made a special, not on the menu dessert out of roti with carmel sauce and powdered sugar. (It should be added) The Service was very good and quick. My family enjoyed our dining experience🥂
New favorite Thai place! Will happily drive 30 minutes out of the way to come here. Khao soi is amazing, great curry, devil/Angel wings, and Thai iced tea are all 10/10.
Main course was good.
Chuchi Artichoke Rice was amazing!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I'm vegetarian, not vegan, but I've taken other people here who are omnivores, and everyone has loved it. The satay and the pumpkin curry are my absolute favorites
One of my absolute favourites with ample jain food options. All food is super tasty and overall amazing 🔥 Our go-tos are the Cauliflower Bombs, Chuchi Artichoke with Rice, Pad Thai and the Mango delight dessert (must try!). Slightly on the recommendations side, no jain curries, but definitely recommend 💯
Tasty Roti, Red Curry, Basil Fried Rice and Pad Kee Mao.
Easily the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had! Good atmosphere, enjoyed the music. Slow service, but didn’t mind. Can’t wait to eat this again!
Sadly wanted to like this place more than I did. The pad Thai was really disappointing 😞 the mango stocky rice was one of the best I had. The service was slow the first time but the second time a but friendlier.
The food here was amazing and delicious, the place is cute, and it was a very chill atmosphere.
I loved eating here. I especially recommend the Diablo devil wings.
Kati Vegan Thai holds a place in my heart so profound that I find myself dreaming about its exquisite flavors and the incredible warmth of the staff. It's not just a restaurant; it's a haven that transcends the boundaries of a typical dining experience. The anticipation of my next visit becomes a comforting lullaby, and the mere thought of it brightens my waking moments.
The Pad Thai, with its perfect blend of sweet, savory, and tangy notes, dances in my dreams. The Green Curry, a fragrant symphony of spices and coconut milk, whispers promises of culinary bliss. Yet, it's not just the exceptional dishes that make Kati Vegan Thai unforgettable—it's the extraordinary staff.
The staff's genuine kindness and hospitality transform a meal into a cherished memory. As I drift into dreams, I find myself embraced by the warmth of Kati Vegan Thai, and waking up is met with the joyous anticipation of my next visit. This enchanting connection, where the restaurant becomes a part of my dreams and my reality, is a testament to the unparalleled magic that Kati Vegan Thai brings to every aspect of the dining experience. May your own experiences be as dreamlike and heartwarming as mine.
Consistently amazing food and friendly service! I’ve always left feeling happier so I keep coming back!
Party of 4 - of the group one vegan. The "meat-eaters" were beyond impressed about the quality of the food, the preparations and the flavors. There are no other words to describe better the experience.
Well deserved 5 stars.
The best!! ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE! Every single dish I have tried beat all other restaurants here in quality, flavors and portion sizes. Beautiful restaurant as well
Great spot for lunch or date night. A large menu with many options making it hard to pick and choose. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and the angel wings and mango sticky rice are a must have every visit. They also have a great drink menu, alcoholic and non. It is very expensive, especially for Thai food. But I keep going back so it must be worth it!
The service was prompt, polite, and friendly. The food was delicious and came out quickly with the fried garlic jackfruit blowing me away with how good it was.
I had the old style pad thai with bean thread noodles, and it was a good portion for myself without feeling greasy. Unfortunately, we ate our entrees before we thought of taking pictures of them, but we got a shot of their most popular dessert: the mango delight.
Absolutely tasty.
Delicious vegan food! The tea cocktail is not very good though.
Having eaten here twice now, I highly recommend Kati. I got to eat pad see ew, which I haven't been able to eat for years because I haven't seen a GF version on a restaurant menu until now. The 4 dishes we've tried have all been delicious. The only down side is that it's not cheap, but that seems to be the case generally these days. Looking forward to going back again as much as possible.
Such good curries here - good for dine in or take out
I like this place especially to order food to go. I enjoyed their Soups and salads and rice.
The food is good to be honest, if you know what you're ordering. For eg, the Khao Soi and Massaman curry are pretty great, especially if you get it with Jackfruit on the top. But the food quality varies between the other options. Like the fried rice and the pad thai are a let down, especially for the price. The food is good but not as good as the price. We 3 entrees and 1 appetizer for 4 (and no dessert) and our bill was $110 + tip. Also the place is a little cramped. So although they've designed the space well, it still feels fairly cramped.
Very nice atmosphere, but Pad Thai was too wet and Tom Yum was too sour. Not much service. Price was a bit high for a vegan restaurant.
Wow! Can't think of other rating than 5 stars. This place seems so casual from the outside but I was so pleasantly surprised by the food. And I am not even vegan. Feels that the chef really put a lot of thinking into the blend of tastes and flavors in every dish. Tried the Phad Kee Mao, the Tom Kha soup (OMG it was sooo good), the Devil Wings, the pot stickers, and the banana spring rolls with coconut ice cream for desert. Everything was so delicious. So great to have such a refreshing modern Thai restaurant in the area. I will definitely come back.
We ordered pot stickers, phad thai, papaya salad and mango sticky rice. All of them are so so good!
Food was amazing, great options for vegetarians/ vegans but little pricey.
I have been to Kati before but wasn't impressed last time I ate here. However this time it was different. Everything I tried was really good.
I highly recommend trying Devil's Bomb. I had satay as well which came with a peanutty sauce. But it was good too. I am generally not a big fan of pineapple fried rice but they had just enough sweetness of pineapple to balance both flavors or fried rice and pineapple.
What I didn't like about this place was the incorrectly estimated wait times. We were told we will get a table in 15 minutes. When we came back, the wait time was still 15-20 minutes. So I definitely waited over half an hour. However they compensated us with getting the food ready earlier and taking advance orders.
Another thing I should point out to would be that this place is a bit on the expensive side especially if you order drinks. Drinks are overpriced. The appetizer plate size is very small however the mains have decent size.
One of my favorite places. Stylish interior and food never disappoints!
Love the food, most of the item we tried was exceptional indeed it was best thai food we ever tried, just that it falls in pricey end.
We tried devil wing, they were really good it had good amount of spice
Cauliflower Bombs, it was ok, size of each piece was big and flavor was not for our liking
Curry fried rice- it was exceptional
Green curry with jasmine rice- This was my favorite, this dish right balance of everything, it was flour bomb
Mango delight - It has cocunut icecream with mango pieces and warm purple sticky rice, loved it as well
In drinks we tried the float, it was okaish not that great. For this we paid around $150+
Overall would recommend this place for all who loves thai food
Love this place. Has great food and service is excellent.
I go here with all my vegan family members or friends when they're in town. Everyone we've brought (even non vegans) have enjoyed the food. The khao soi is my go-to dish, so I've had a hard time branching out when I know the dish is pretty solid. Other people in our party had 2 of the fried rices-which they ate up and massaman curry-very good as well. Phad keemow was a hit, too. Their cocktails are soooo good and very well made. The gardner's secret is my favorite, but the gimlet, blood orange margarita, mango drink, and mai tais are delish as well. I was a little disappointed in the Thairish Tea, but it wasn't bad, but probably my least favorite of the drinks we've tried so far. The service isn't always super attentive to ask for your drink order or check in, but they are super fast delivering the food.
Great mango sticky rice and organic vegan food!
Enjoyed the food served as it was our maiden tasting and the staff are very good and takes care.
Excellent taste and must try and we would like to visit again
Favorite restaurant!
Went to Kati Vegan Thai in Totem Lake tonight! I liked it! The garlicky jackfruit was amazing. We had the appetizer with it, and it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in awhile. The cauliflower bomb appetizer was 🔥, but also really good.
The pad see ew was ok, maybe a tiny bit bland? I should have added garlic jackfruit to it. Next time! Because there will definitely be a next time!
This is a vegan restaurant and ton of delicious recipes. The staff was happy to customize recipes/replace type of noodles to our preference. We ordered massaman curry, pineapple fried rice, cauliflower bombs, and pad keemao. All the recipes were delicious. Cauliflower bombs were heavy on spices and a little dry.
The place had pretty decent ambience and friendly staff. Overall, we had a good time.
First time going to Kati Vegan Thai. Ordered their Thai iced tea and Pad Kee Mao. Very delightful and delicious 🤤! Customer service was very good 😊! The atmosphere is very beautiful and aesthetic! I’m not a vegan person cuz I love my meat but having a hubby as a vegetarian and like exploring new options out there, this place is a good start for vegetarian thai! Highly recommended! Love love love it 😍
TL;DR: pricey but healthy. All dishes vegan.
Parking: sparse during peak hours. Street side, parking garages, or public parking around shopping mall area; you just need to walk.
Atmosphere: small cafe-like setting with modern decor and light music playing in background. Limited seating -- the whole restaurant can seat 30 people total. Kitchen separated by a low wall so you can see and smell the food being made.
Menu: everything is vegan. QR code. Descriptive and has some photos. Prices are a bit on the high side when considering proportion to dollar ratio.
Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered and provided a small pitcher, order at the table. Service is a bit slow due to few staff. Tables were left dirty for quite some time after guests had left because all staff were tending to ToGo orders, waiting current guests, and ohone
Kid Friendly: they only have 2 high chairs available. Be warned during peak hours if your little one needs to be strapped in.
Fresh Rolls: refreshing veggies and great sauce but on the pricey side. There are 6 half rolls. Very satisfying if you need a veggie fix.
Curries: all default spicy, no less spicy option.
Classic Fried Rice: great flavoring but overpriced in my opinion. Comes with a nice helping of cucumber slivers instead of one slice like other restaurants.
Pad See Ew: the collard greens is a nice touch. I am a fan of the flavoring -- authentic and not overpowering! The noodle to topping ratio is pretty even too -- I had noodles and a topping with each bite as opposed to some places where you have nothing but noodles towards the end.
Mango Delight: the coconut ice cream was sweet and creamy with a shaved ice texture but the scoop is a tad on the small size. I would have preferred a bit of the coconut ice cream to go with the sticky rice. The bowl is rather deep so the photos done show just how much sticky rice is in there. The sticky rice had a nice indigo hue and had a great texture. There was a generous proportion of sweet and ripe champagne mangos. Overall, not overly sweet and a great dessert, just pricey.
The food is AMAZING, service is really good, good location if you go by us or car. Just parking is somewhere around the plaza.
The perfect spot to know my bestie was pregnant! =)
Simple and elegant atmosphere. Staff are very freeing and food was next level. We were skeptical about vegan food initially, but were we wrong! The green curry was heavenly and the stir fried was next level. I was taken back on how delicious was the purple sticky rice with the mango. It was definitely a nice take on such a classic Thai desert. Highly recommend checking them out,
Really nice Thai place with vegan menu! Loved their pineapple fry and the taste was really
Good!
I've been here twice with coworkers for celebrations and both times the place was fantastic! Great food (try the chuchi artichoke) and all the appetizers. Also the Gardener's Secret is a fantastic cocktail too.
High priced, but highly recommend.
Have a lovely dinner with my family. Plenty of choices for vegetarians. We loved every dish that we ordered.
Came here for the first time for lunch since my husband and I came to Totem lake. We love vegan food.
We ordered Green Curry and Kuay tiew kua gai. It doesn't come with rice, so I ordered two separately.
The green curry here is smooth but doesn't have much filling...just like soup. Kuay tiew kua gai is okay.
When I checked out at the end, I thought that the tip selection was from 20% and up.
Appetizers and main courses were great my favorites: Cauliflower Bombs are truly "the bomb" and the Mango Salad was to die for and so fresh. Ambience was perfect. Only criticism was small location meaning not much seating for a first come first serve model without reservations. Second due to seating near the door during winter it can get chilly.
Kassy our server was so special, she was filled with positive energy and made our experience fantastic! She helped with menu suggestions.
Recommend the angel wings and mango sticky rice.
Also have a full bar which is nice for a vegan spot :) quality of food was fantastic!
5/5, great to see exclusive and authentic vegan options popping up outside of Seattle. Who I can only assume was the owner made sure that our visit was fantastic, you can tell she truly cared if we enjoyed the food. Thank you for taking care of us today! We will see you again!
Probably the best Thai food I’ve had and also the healthiest. Seasonings are perfect, and great price.
First of all, I’m a meatlover, and I wouldn’t try any vegan restaurant by myself. my friend Zach took me to this restaurant today, and their food is amazing. I even didn’t realize that their food is vegan and no meat at all. The best vegan restaurant I’ve ever tried.
It was our first time here, The experience was amazing all the way from the waiter assigning our seats and taking our drink preferences! And not to forget the servers Kayla and Donny that took our orders who had beyond amazing customer service- 10/10 totally recommend! Our favorite items were “old style pad Thai” “house made pot stickers” “massaman curry” for deserts “coconut fancy”
Nice service and good food 👌
Frustrated with wait times. Nothing great! Overpriced. Don't have auto booking or table reservations. They don't even message you. If you so crave get there at 5:30 pm. They are the antithesis of Joe's customer service.
I'd give it 0 stars.
we came two days in a row first at lunch second at dinner and overall experience was great our servers donny and mobina were very well put and gave us great service and the food was amazing too we’re definitely coming back many more times
Love the appetizers here!
I just stopped by this place with my son.. without any expectations. The service was just wow!! I never saw such a kid care in any restaurant. The vegetable soup was so delicious. Will definitely come back!
Food was very delicious and had alot of flavor, the mango mojito was alright.
In addition to the delicious food, the wonderful staff at Kati Thai were so accommodating for our large group of 20. We were celebrating a special event late in the evening close to their closing time and they bent over backwards to help serve everyone. The manager was especially kind and made sure everyone had a good experience. Ten stars all around, Kati Thai! Thank you for making our event special. 🙏
Tried this place coz of 4+ star reviews. Bit disappointing. I am a vegetarian. I got cauliflower bombs, pad kee Mao, pineapple fried rice and Thai iced tea. The cauliflower bombs were pretty good. Nice and spicy. The rest were disappointing. The taste was ok that you would get in any other thai place for 3 $ less than the price here. It was not spicy at all although I had mentioned that in the order. The biggest disappointment was the thai iced tea. 6$ drink which was so small. The taste was so bitter. I think the worst thai iced tea I have had in any thai place
I have been multiple times with my wife now, and the food has been great every single time.
I plan to run through their entire menu, but so far i really love their Kati Satay and Khao Soi (sorry no pictures, it looked too appetizing that I forgot to click the picture).
The host and staff are warm and friendly, and the restaurant itself is located at place that has many things to do before or after food. 😊
Overall good vibes! 5⭐️
