Authentic Thai home cooking right in your neighborhood.
Great place to hangout for a flavorful dinner.
We had String beans as appetizers. Main course we ordered pineapple fried rice with vegetables and Thai fried rice with tofu and green curry.
Green curry was star of the evening. Taste was bang on and also if you want to spice it up ask for the hot sauce, it is just perfect.
Curry was presented with a gorgeous looking vessel.
Also, don’t miss the dessert, fried banana with coconut ice cream. It was delicious.
Host was fantastic, very welcoming.
Would love to go again and explore more entrees.
I ordered the Pad See Ew two weeks before and it was so good. It’s the first picture below. Today I ordered it again because I enjoyed it and it was so bland. It’s the second picture. It was obviously different, wasn’t that good and disappointing. Maybe they just had a bad night but I hope for some consistency.
Ordered triple spicy duck, garlic fried chicken, Kua Gai noodles, and Tom kha soup. Our duck we had the spicy sauce on the side so the kids could eat it, but they ended up having none. Without the spicy sauce it tasted too similar to the garlic chicken. Everything was really awesome though. I'm not usually a rice eater but I had 3 bowls of rice because all the sauces paired well with it
I have been visited by an angel, a ginger angel.
She is not the prettiest angel, but looks don't matter when you're beautiful on the inside.
End of metaphor
Real talk, ginger angel is great, their curries are great, just about everything about this place is wonderful. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Went in for dinner on a week night. Not too busy to dine in that night. We shared three entrees. We got the veggie platter, the Thai fried rice and the red curry with chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection, the food and ingredients were fresh and delicious! The servers were friendly and professional. We got everything we wanted and it was all extremely satisfying! We will definitely return to eat here.
The quality, portion and price of the dishes, combined with the dining ambience makes this restaurant one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. We often order take out but are planning on dining in soon now that it feels safer to do so.
Very good date night and family dinner restaurant.
Highly recommended!
This is the first time I have tried Thai food and I was blown away with the dishes they have in their menu. And what a great hospitality. Started with Tempura tofu I loved the sauce they served with it. I order green curry with vegetables in it and jasmine rice I love the taste And seasonal mango rice in desert must try just woww
A friend told me about this place and I’m glad she did. Very delicious food and a great customer service!
Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The dining area didn’t seem particularly busy but after we placed our order it was probably around 15min that one of the 5 entrees came out. However, it took another 15 minutes for everyone else’s entree to come out and when the food was brought out the meat was cold. The waitress never really stopped by to ask how the food was and never actually brought out some of the drinks ordered at the table. Eventually was able to flag down one of the ladies clearing the table if we could get our drinks and she seemed to acknowledge (although it seemed evident that there was possibly a language barrier) but never received drinks. Our waitress would continue to take phone orders or seat people but it was apparent that some tables were waiting a while to place their orders and struggling to get her attention and we were struggling to get good service. It’s a real shame because the food probably would have tasted better and have a more enjoyable experience but the service was nonexistent. Management needs more staff to support!
great service and the food here is delicious, I recommend the pad khee mao and crying tiger
This is my favorite thai restaurant maybe ever! The food is soooo good and the staff are all very sweet. I cannot recommend this gem enough!!!
Great tucked away spot!
Everything is well priced, the portions are generous, and delicious! Highly recommend checking it out!

I visited this restaurant two days ago. While the food tasted good, I experienced throat irritation a few hours later. The following day, I had an upset stomach and developed a high fever

Fantastic family dinner! Excellent food, great service, and comfortable atmosphere. We will be back again.

Had the sweet and sour chicken. 2 star was so good
Excellent Thai food! Very Gluten Free friendly!
My husband and I shared satay chicken appetizer and for main courses he had pad see ew and I had panang curry and everything was good!
Also you need to get the coconut juice! 😋
Delicious food , amazing service. Might want to fix those dangerous steps by main entrance :)
My family’s favorite Thai place!
Really liked this place their Tom kha is amazing and I definitely recommend their basil fried rice it's super smokey and delicious

Every dish I’ve had has been so delicious! This is one of my favorite Thai places :) even when I order take out they accommodate my request for extra veggies - they’re so nice!
We love this place. Come here all the time!
This food is soo flavorful and delicious 😋
Good food worth every penny, great service and good good people
Good food, friendly people and great service!

Food was greasy and not fresh. Clearly it was fried chicken nuggets direct out of fridge.
Amazing food and service!
Terrible customer service!!
Riquísimo todo!!!
Bad quality food
Last week I picked up “to go” and since the tag read my order correctly, I didn’t check. Upon opening at home, my daughter found her order to be the spicy one, and mine mild. So I ate hers, but I finally returned to tell them of the mistake. The proprietor quickly apologized and offered to make both properly to the original order. I said I only needed the one as I’d eaten the other. She said wait 5 minutes. She had done BOTH and was kind with a smile. I’ve been eating here for years and spread the message that this place is not in it delicious, but also a professional and nice place due to its integrity and employee’s business approach.
Cheers!
Cheerful staff, pretty decor, amazing food!
Repeat customer fantastic Thai food, great service. This is our go to for something we know is going to be good.
Normally it is pretty good. Occasionally i do have a bad experience.
The food and the people are wonderful!
Wow! Everything about this was excellent!
I will definitely return and highly recommend this place!
They have vegetarian options, went for lunch with my cousins. Welcoming atmosphere, great service, great food!
This was some of the best Thai I’ve had; and I’ve had a lot! My friend recommended it, and it did NOT disappoint. We had the tempura tofu, merry eggplant (my favorite probably), pad Thai, and orange tofu. Everything was perfection! And their house chili oil is so good I had to buy some. A must have if you’re in the area. I’ll be back no question, and it’ll be worth the drive from Seattle.
Excellent Thai food. Super flavorful, fresh, atmosphere is outstanding. Well worth the reasonable price.
Ordered pan fried green beans with beef and house special noodles (Drunken style). Would recommend again no question asked.
Excellent Thai food, wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere. Glad I finally made it in & will definitely be back soon!
The food tastes good but too salty..
Our first visit and we will be back again. Staff was pleasant, efficient, and attentive. Food was very flavorful and served hot. Environment is bright and cheery.
Kataliya has a quiet, family-owned environment. All of the food we ordered was beyond flavorful. The classics (Pad Thai, Red Curry and Basel Fried Rice) were exactly what we were looking for and the best we’ve had in the Seattle area. The specialty item (Crispy Garlic Chicken) was superb and a must order for future visits!
Thank you Kataliya for a great night out!
Always good. Local restaurant with friendly and efficient sraff.
We always get take out.
Very nice place, light and open, very comfortable. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The Thai fruit salad was a new experience and super tasty!
Very warm and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our dinner here.
Phenomenal food and outstanding service.
My fav local Thai restaurant.
I have tried food here four times, since I live in the area. It has been a disappointment every time. The food simply is not good. The flavor is bland and lacking. The consistency of the noodles are clumped together and dense. I threw away the phad thai take out I bought from here. I have given Kataliya plenty of chances, but it just doesn't measure up with any other Thai restaurants in the area. I will drive to Woodinville for thai next time.
It is a nice place for dinner I like the works 💪 👷♂️ 😋
Got take out order. Was fast to get get food. The food was pretty good. However, they barely gave me any sauce for the dumplings. Less than half the container full. Are they conserving?
Fantastic food and great atmosphere, bright and clean with super friendly service. Recommend the green curry w/ chicken, orange chicken, and black sticky rice pudding!
Love this place and the people!! Every time the people are warm and welcoming. Delicious!! Chicken satay with peanut sauce 🤌
Absolutely lovely and relaxed dining experience. The flavors were bright.
We will be back soon!
The eggplant in the green curry is seriously out of this world. It is the best eggplant I have ever had in my whole life and is consistently amazing.
Everything was absolutely amazing , everything I wanted in Thai food and the flavor was explosive. My husband and I have been wanting to come for years and just spur of the moment stopped and will absolutely be back!! Fully recommended them .
We visited the place on Mother’s Day after reading positive reviews. The service was extremely bad, 2 entrees took 50 mins to arrive and were completely passable. Mango sticky rice wasn’t good either. The air conditioning was set to freezing temperature. Its disappointing when this happens on a special occasion. We won’t be visiting again.
Food was exceptional! We had sweet and sour chicken, pad Thai, yellow shrimp curry, green beans, and black rice pudding. Absolutely delicious. Great service was appreciated.
Great tasting food consistently!
Takeout order.I got the fresh spring rolls and garlic chicken. The spring rolls they charged me an additional $2 for crab that didn't even go through the length of the roll and did not provide me with the peanut sauce. instead I got some weird white sauce that was nasty as heck. The chicken was dry and over cooked. Hardly edible. Really disappointed. Spent almost $35 on trash. Will not be returning.
I visited Kataliya Thai House twice and this restaurant is wonderful! I got the Pad Kee Mao and the Fresh Rolls (shrimp). The dishes were delicious, service was friendly, and the atmosphere very homey. Would definitely recommend visiting here if you want quality Thai food 😋
Best Thai food I've had in Seattle for the past 5 years. The flavors are well balanced. Not super sweet like typical Thai food elsewhere. The Panang curry was flavorful with a generous serving of meat. The Pad Kee Mao was 10 out of 10! It has a smokey flavor, soft noodles, and plenty of meat and veggies. Service was okay since I came during dinner rush, but the servers were nice and accommodating. I will be a frequent customer for sure!
Came for dinner, first time here, won't be back.
Service: Poor on a thurday night, few staff and unfortunately they struggled to balance attending to food pick-up orders and guests who are dining in. Had to waive the waiter down for everything.
Food: Appetizers (calamari, wings) were pretty great! Portion sizes for all the food was pretty good. However our entrees were inconsistent in terms of flavor/quality. Duck curry was just OK - couldn't finish it; Crab fried rice was lacking in flavor and rice was too al-dente for our taste; Thai fried rice with salmon was pretty good. .
Ambiance: Ok, small restaurant, part of the kitchen is the waiting area (there are rice cookers near the check-in area)
Kataliya is the closest Thai place to our house, so we order from here regularly. Dishes are hit and miss, but they seem to do the basics pretty well (curries and stir fries), particularly the noodle dishes (Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, pad kee mao, etc.). I would stay away from the Crying Tiger. Super over cooked and the sauce had barely any flavor. I took three bites and threw the rest away.
Good food, super friendly staff, restaurant is always clean but can be a little chilly so I wear a cardigan when I go. Totally worth it! I like the soup and noodle dishes.
got take out. chicken pad thai and basil fried rice. taste is very thoughtfully crafted!! not usually a big fan of pad thai but this one was absolutely delicious. the taste was nothing like i've had before. not a generic taste for sure. lovely staff and even a cute note on our take out box that said "thank you" and "enjoy your food". little details make the experience that much better. i want to try their other menu items. they also sell their own chili oil at the front. $6 for a nice sized jar. haven't tried it but curious about it. :) will i be back? absolutely.
Was not as good as
The food is good and serving size for the cost are good. Services was good and the food delivery was prompt. The atmosphere is clean and not fancy. The lower rating is due to the temperature being cold. I noticed everyone dining in were wearing their jackets. I enjoy their consistency in food quality so I do return and dress for the weather. Note that my visits have been around lunch time shortly after they open.
Had a working lunch here, and it was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly, happy, and very attentive, the restaurant was adorably decorated and clean, and the food was delicious. We ordered phad thai, phad kee Mao, and spring rolls. I also took home a pineapple fried rice to go for dinner. Will be coming back!
The newer ownership really made this a gem. Love the food and service.
Very good food, the staff are great, and prices are reasonable!
Always delicious!
We ordered takeout. Flavors were authentic. Food was excellent.
It is the best! The food is always fresh, and the service is top-notch.
The Panang curry here is the best! I can’t find a Panang curry I love more. There’s something unique about the flavor. Also their chicken is high quality, not the usual weird tasting stuff that I sometimes get from other places.
I’m sure the rest of their food is just as delicious but I can’t seem to stop ordering the curry to find out.
Great place. Excellent food and service. I go there often.
The waiters are very friendly and my son loves eating their rice noodles.
Food took 40 minutes and when we finally got it they messed up our order. Would definitely not recommend:(
Ordered takeout and literally got the wrong food item that was so spicy. What a waste of money make sure they give you what you ordered
Some of the best Phad See Ew I've ever had in a beautifully decorated little restaurant with kind, hardworking staff. Food is worth the wait.
Good food just needs better attention to service. It's hard these days to find good quality service when the waitress comes and check on the food and any needs you might have . When we went there there were only 2 other tables that were occupied, barely empty. However, food was abundant and very tasty.
Has been wonderful to see new management slowly remodeling and upgrading this Thai place. Excellent food and great service. Fair prices. Highly recommend.
Amazing food! Highly recommend, our new favorite Thai place
This is the first time I have tried Thai food and I was blown away with the dishes they have in their menu.
It's been awhile since we had a nice meal and a great service.
Great Thai food here👍👍
We had an order mixup but the sweet lady happily redid it, and gave us drinks on the house! Thank you I really appreciate it :)
Great food! This place is care for customers when place a hot food to a safe and healthy box! I will visit more often 👍🏼
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!!! Must try! Fantastic Food!!
It's been awhile since we had a nice meal and a great service. After the change of ownership, this was our first visit. We enjoyed the new paint and the whole ambience. Our wait lady brought out her excellent service and made the whole experience more impressive.
Kudos to the whole restaurant team!

Very good date night and family dinner restaurant.
Highly recommended!
The very best!!! And can be made your needs like gluten free or broccoli free. Great staff. Delicious food. Great for family events and entertaining guests.
This is the best restaurant along Bothell Way and in the Bothell-Kenmore-LFP area. It isn’t even close. I’m thoroughly impressed with how well our Pad Kee Mao and Tom Yum turned out. It may be the best Thai food I’ve had in the city. Normally most restaurants will overcook the noodles and they become mushy and soggy. Not Kataliya. Spicy level is also perfect, with 4/5 giving a real kick. Prices and portions are very reasonable as well.
We get food delivery often since retiring few years ago, usually same 4 or 5 Thai restaurants around Lake City area, all just okay, certainly nothing special, different or exciting. Decided try something new, what a nice surprise!, treat!. Everything so good!, different!. Kataliya is by far the best Thai food we've had for years & years, Grilled Pork so good, Crispy Chicken amazing, Panang Curry, Phad Thai, Fresh rolls, all yummy! Fresh, high quality, tender, full of flavor, did I mention high quality! So nice, so rare, a restaurant that actually cares, takes pride in their food. Thank you! Your new forever customers. Jim & Sue
Fantastic service and delicious food. Such a cute building and the vibe inside is great. I got the white fish curry, and my brother got the roasted duck curry. We highly recommend both! Their black rice pudding and green tea ice cream are phenomenal. Many vegan and vegetarian options. I am allergic to peanuts, and they were accommodating. Highly recommend!
Such a lovely restaurant with amazing food and flavours. The ambience was so peaceful. I love the restaurant and the service they provide. This restaurant closes at 8:30 p.m. and has outdoor and indoor seating. The parking lot is enough so you can easily Park your car there. Inside the restaurant is also clean and has enough space to eat. They have restrooms too. Service is quick and the quality of the food is amazing. I love the way they bring the fried rolls to us. Worth going there.
Delicious food, friendly staff, and the decor of the restaurant is adorable as well. Always lots of people picking up food so it's clearly a local favorite! I know it is part of my regular routine now.
I deliberately called to make sure my delivery food had utensils! I told the store that I am in a park and will eat food in the park, so we will not be able to eat without utensils. The staff said they will make sure there are utensils.
BUT, when I got the food, there were NO utensils. How can we eat them??? We paid delivery fees, tips etc and waited for more than half an hour just to find out we cannot eat the food!!!
We are sooo disappointed that this ruined the friends get together. We have to leave and eat at home...
Food itself is fine.
Great food, big portions, decent price, friendly and efficient service.
The owner is as sweet as pie and the food is delish. What more can I say?
It's a nice place with tasty Thai food, friendly staff and reasonable pricing.
We really loved the food. The ingredients were all fresh & the staff were excellent. We were a group and ordered a lot of dishes and all were 5 stars!
Super sad to say I had to come back and edit my review. When they opened they were soooo good but they really fell off now it’s pretty mediocre. Their pad Thai specifically literally tastes like spicy yakisoba lol. Oops 😬
I’ve been driving past this place for years and finally stopped to see what it was all about! I have to say, the food is right up there with the best Thai food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! We ordered so many wonderful dishes! The Shrimp Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce were fresh and full of vegetables and shrimp. We also started with the Black Pepper Calamari and were impressed with the size of the rings and the delicate breading. Other dishes we tried included Garlic Angel Chicken, Sweet and Sour Shrimp (my personal favorite, with pineapple, tomato and cucumber) Penang Curry, Green Beans with Beef, Pork Pad Thai and Crab Fried Rice. Two ⭐️ was the perfect heat. All just so yummy! Our food was ready when we arrived and was waiting in a thermal bag to keep it warm. The staff were so sweet and easy to work with when taking our order. Lots of free parking and a great Kenmore location. Susan Says…go ahead, Thai one on! 🇹🇭🥢🍜
My husband and I like to try different Thai restaurants and will drive all over western Washington to try it. We came up here from the Olympia area. My husband ordered the chicken green curry and I ordered the Chicken panang curry. Let me tell you, both were absolutely delicious! I only had a bite of my husbands, but the bite I had was yummy! My curry had so much flavor, it was hard not to eat the whole thing. I also ordered a Thai iced tea, which was also very good. You do have to buy the rice separate as the curry doesn’t come with. Honestly that doesn’t even bother me. It’s totally worth it! The service was also so wonderful. Our server was so nice. We will definitely be back..
Such a wonderful experience going here for the first time. Our gal who took care of us was so adorable, funny and attentive too! We will definitely be coming back 🥰
Delicious and friendly
The 0 spicy stir fry noodles and the 1 star fried rice were so spicy from the pepper. They are so bad. I had to also add some soy sauce to pad see ew at home as it was very light and flavorless besides the pepper.
That is the best Thai place ever!!! The foods are so tasty that’s hard to choose a dish every time I go Hahah the staff is very nice and you feel so cozy! I love this place. It deserves all the stars we can give.
It's very good food.......
Consistently the best Thai food I've ever had!
Great food and great service every time!
Good place to check out.
Good Thai food. Clean. Good service. Easy parking. In a plaza with many other stores. Not too expensive. No draft beers, but a selection of bottled beers.
After a long day of hiking we stopped by and ordered to go. The service was so quick and friendly. The food was delicious. Best Thai food around.
Quiet, excellent service, fabulous food! Second time here. Will continue to come. Don't know about other reviews but we love Kataliya!
I can't wait for my next visit. Delicious food, friendly service... Did I already say delicious food?!
Love that they can make many dishes vegan as well!
This is our go-to restaurant for Thai. Great value for food.
Great for takeout! We get dinners here often, at least once a month.
Papaya salad is really good. Especially if you like it spicy like me. Haven't been disappointed by the food or the prices.
Delicious and great service!
Fair priced and really tasty Thai food
Delicious! We ordered the panang curry and pad see ew and it was great. Tons of veggies and the spice was just right. Will definitely be ordering again.
Service was quick, server was super sweet and food was amazing! We got the avocado curry with medium spice - I don’t usually order spicy food and would still highly recommend. We will definitely be back!!
Love everything from the appetizers, soups, to entrees here!
The green papaya salad and massaman curry were beautifully spiced and the Thai Iced tea saved me from all that heat...have eaten here a few times and quality is consistent. Love it!
Great customer service 👏
