Restaurant serving curries, noodle dishes & other Thai fare in a casual strip-mall setting.
We really enjoyed this pace. We had the basil fried rice, wide noodles, fresh roll, spring rolls and seafood soup. All were good. Fried rice said was spice but was not at all. We were the only table at 5pm on Saturday, so food came out fast. I would definitely recommend this place.
One of the best Thai restaurants we have been to…(and we’ve been to Thailand!!). The food was exceptionally delicious!!! There were four of us going out for lunch. It just so happened that we had planned to go to a nearby Korean restaurant but they were not open for dining, so we walked a few doors down and got lucky because this restaurant had really great Thai food!!! Our hostess was awesome too!
For appetizers, we had chicken satay, spring rolls and Bangkok shrimp. Everything was simply delicious, but the shrimp was outstanding!! We ordered shrimp salad, Namyok beef, red curry with chicken and Thai lamb for lunch. The shrimp salad and red curry was delicious, the Thai lamb was flavorful, but the namtok beef was one of the best grilled beef dishes we had ever eaten. For dessert, we were slightly full so all of us shared a sweet fried banana dish with a scoop of ice cream.
Excellent food, great ambiance, great hosts, and a wonderful dining experience!!
Friendly staff, I go here for dine-in and Togo all the time when we want Thai food.
The package is clean and neat, the quality of food is always good
Only thing is they need a more lights inside and good decor
The food is well prepared and with care. I have gotten different meat dishes with fried rice, but more typically get the yellow curry with white rice and potatoes. Very rich in flavor although there are some times where it was a little bland, the cooks usually are on point. I like that the dishes can be modified and the staff are really kind, warm, and friendly.
This is my go to place for dine in and carryout. Delicious meals all the time. I always order drunken noodles, pad thai, papaya salad, chicken satay, sukie yukie, and crab fried rice. Very friendly staff and attentive. Prices are the same as most restaurants and the portions are the same as most places. I do like the extra option to add peppers to my liking at my table. Lots of vegetarian options and gluten free options on the menu.
They are very nice and accommodating. Remade my husband's meal when he said it was too hot. Very tasty options mad we to order and to your taste.
08/19/2022: Visited again today by myself. I had chicken satay and Wonton soup and ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, to bring home for dinner. The satay was wonderful with the thick peanut sauce to go with it. I could slather that stuff on anything and eat it!! I love the Wonton soup, very beefy, porky, brown broth with greens, ground pork, and those plump, juicy, perfectly done Wonton floating around. OMG, YUM!! My eldest son and I love the pineapple fried rice. It's never enough when we share an order, so, of course we have to order two! Lucky for me, he wasn't there today! Go, just go...
Great food. Nicest servers!

Great food, great price, lovely atmosphere!
That's food was great I just would like more for the price.
Loved the red curry

All there food is excellent. If you're a Thai lover, their food is great.
I will not come to this place again, NEVER!the mango is black, the vegetables are black, the pad see ew is very salty, can not eat, I drink a lot of water can not relieve, can only throw away, Tom kha only soup just 2 shrimp, I don't know why to spend 8 dollars to eat two shrimp, it is really expensive.
Always prompt service and always delicious food.
Best fried rice i’ve ever had. Food so good it had me feeling like the food critic from ratatouille. Pretty nice interior. Highly recommend.
Favorite Thai restaurant. Food is always delicious and the staff are very friendly. Best spring rolls in town!!
I went in there for pork fried rice. The price was $14.75 which is fine but the container was barely filled to the top. Also they gave me chicken.
At least they got the level of spice right.
We really enjoyed this pace. We had the basil fried rice, wide noodles, fresh roll, spring rolls and seafood soup. All were good. Fried rice said was spice but was not at all. We were the only table at 5pm on Saturday, so food came out fast. I would definitely recommend this place.
Food was fantastic, servers were friendly and helpful! If I’m being honest the atmosphere was a bit tired but don’t let that deter you from a delicious meal!
THE PANANG CURRY IS TO DIE FOR
I have a standard meal I pretty much get all the time here. The service is always great, and the food always keeps me coming back for more!!
Good people. Good food.
My favorite Thai food in town. Very friendly staff. Give it a shot!
Very tasty food, and good prices, too. The best Drunken Noodle I have had in northern Virginia.
The worse meal I ever had in my entire life. the chicken pad Thai was spoiled and poor costumer service.
Great food Great pricing
Our go-to for Thai food, and we've tried them all. If anyone in the area is better I want to hear about it.
Good food, great service!
If you’re looking for a great authentic Thai food, the “Thai taste” is the place to go. The restaurant by itself Is the “hole in a wall” in the best meaning of this word! The outside appearance and interior are not attractive and fancy, but food there is OMG!!! The dishes’ delightful, hearty taste created by bright notes of lime juice, ginger, and lemongrass among with very balanced spices and fresh ingredients is Amazing! Flavors are unfolding in your mouth being perfectly arranged and orchestrated by the old man in the kitchen. This place has the CHEF, and he is actually does his job! He’s doing it for years not loosing or giving up the quality of his product! The old chef’s food is definitely has his magic touch, and I immediately could tell it hadn’t it when one day he was not in the kitchen while taking his trip to Thailand. I believe the place is being run by the family, so the atmosphere there is very relaxing and far from formal. The lady who works in the floor remembers our favorites by heart , so I never have a hard time to recall it. Bottom line, if you love Oriental/Thai food and also want to actually enjoy it, the “Thai taste” will fully satisfy you! Oh yeah one more thing. Portions are generous and pricing will not disappoint you at all!
Very nice enjoyed the food
Everything is so dang good to eat here! If I'm getting thai this is my place.
Every single time with this place!! D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!! We LOVE it! If you are thinking about it DO IT! If you disagree then I'm sorry your mouth hates you!
Drunken noodles was very good. Highly recommend it
We love our Thai Taste restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, it's like family when we are there. Keep up the great work.
Great food excellent service
I always enjoy coming to Thai Taste for their drunken noodles with chicken. It is a pretty good portion size, the right amount of spice, and tastes delightful. I wish it was slightly larger so I could get two full size meals from it, but always have leftovers. The lunch price is fair for a tasty meal!
I’ve been here several times and always pretty happy. Tonight was so Incredibly disappointing. My partners fried rice was completely flavorless to the point where she tried adding salt.
We had tried to get our waiters attention but I guess the restaurant owner had friends over so we were basically ignored. My partner had to get up in the end and ask them to add more sauce and then we finally got their attention. Even after they remade it, it was still very bland.
My pad see ew tonight was also very bland.
Overall really disappointed. I had at least expected them to take the dish off or offer a free dessert. But they did nothing.
Not sure I will be back.
Ordered takeout. Repeated three times no fish sauce or oyster sauce in any of my food. Reconfirmed the same when I picked up the food. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they argued it’s not their fault. Ruined my entire dinner.
so yummy. loved the lemongrass tea.
Great quality food that is consistent with every visit. Never disappointed. THREE PEPPERS MEANS THREE PEPPERS - great for the sinuses when you’re feeling super stuffy.
this is my favorite thai place in the dmv! every food item i've tried is so good (my favorites being the red curry and the chicken garlic sauce). the service is amazing and the ladies are so sweet every time i go <3 this is also the best place to ask for a high level of spice, because they will actually make it super spicy (unlike other places i've been to). will definitly be coming back for more :D ❤️
Thai Taste is the best Thai food in Manassas hands down. We eat here about once a week and it's always delicious. Portions are large for the price. They are accommodating for vegan diets and will make dishes without egg or fish sauce. Several great tofu dishes and the sticky rice with mango is a yummy plant based dessert. Highly recommend!
Major disappointment. We ordered two appetizers (Fried Tofu & Spring Rolls) and two entrees (Panang tofu & Pad Thai Jae), all vegetarian. The apps were were fine, but I made a huge mistake tasting the Pad Thai before the Panang. Not only were there pieces of that weird processed pork in the Pad Thai, but it tasted like rotten fish! I assume they simple picked out MOST of the chunks of meat from the regular Pad Thai! It tasted absolutely disgusting to someone that doesn't eat meat (no offense to anyone that likes it, but that is NOT cool to mess with people's food that way!) The fish was so overpowering I lost my appetite for trying the Panang... I definitely DO NOT recommend to anyone that has dietary restrictions. Two thumbs down!
I ordered the Goong- Poo Obb. It was flavorful, and the service was friendly! I truly enjoyed the meal.
Authentic Thai Cuisine. My family and I have been eating here for over 10 years and it is absolutely by far our favorite!
A staple in our home. A great place for a quiet dinner
Good hot food. Priced very reasonably.
Things have always been great...but the waitress spoiled wine all over my boyfriend. She apologized but for myself being a manager and bartender of a restaurant I would've comped something off the bill...they did not...
I work very close to this location and visit often for lunch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I typically get the different curries and have not been disappointed. You can tell that the staff is super friendly and build great relationships with their clientele. Thank you.
Food and service was fantastic. Will be going there again soon.
Definitely the best soup in the city
FANTASTIC! I had their veggie rolls, a bowl of wonton soup and their chicken pad. Thai and everything was delicious and served hot. Excellent service too!
My first time here. Would say one of the good Thai flavors around the area. would come back to try more dishes
The worst (not exaggerating) drunken noodles I've ever had.
Absolutely tasteless.
Great food, friendly service. Sticky rice is outstanding!!!
Really yummy spring rolls. Pad Thai was good but, the noodles lacked flavor & were kind of dry. They charge extra for shrimp which is normal but you only get 4. FOUR shrimp.
Service was friendly and good. Bathroom was clean and had a Koala station. Highly recommend the Spicy Crispy Duck! Sooo tasty. Asked for “medium level of spice” and am glad I did since I wouldn’t have been able to handle the regular high level.
Best crispy duck in Manassas hands down.
Me and my family and friends have been coming here for years. It never disappoints. Best authentic Thai food ever. We love you JJ see you soon!!
This is THE best Thai place in the area. I’m visiting a friend and wanted some Thai food. I got the Panang Chicken Curry and asked for Thai spicy. This. Place. Understood. The. Assignment. Not only was it one of the best Panang curry I have ever had, it was at the peak of my spice tolerance. I told my friend that I’m ordering from this place anytime that I’m visiting the area. I also met what I believe is the owner, while I was there. She is the sweetest, kind woman. Thank you for being a wonderful person and having wonderful food!!!
Great food and friendly service.
I eat here once a week. My favorite is red curry with shrimp. I love the shrimp with fish sauce! One of the best items for carry out is Drunken Noodle with vegetables and extra eggplant. Also makes a good next-day meal!
My fav thai restaurant in the area. We always order the chicken pad see ew with jasmine rice on the side.
We have eaten in the restaurant and taken food to go, the food is fresh and great each time, consistently. Thai Taste is my favorite Thai restaurant!
Great food!
pretty good experience and the best in springfield/burke area - chicken fried rice is great
The food is consistently great. Will continue to go back for their amazing thai tea, pad thai and drunken noodles!
Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. Food was delicious--we ordered the calamari appetizer, pad thai, and the fried banana dessert.
Pretty good Thai food. The staff are friendly and the service is good.
I got the panang curry and it tasted nothing like it. Had way too much peanut sauce and coconut, couldn’t taste anything else.
Our go to lunch spot for the best Thai food in town. We go so often that it has become a tradition amongst coworkers. The lunch specials means it's also the best deal that's easy on your wallet. I recommend Chicken Pad Prik Sod with extra veggies with 5 or 6 chillis 🌶 on the spice scale.
Seeking to try something new, I ordered takeout for two and used a small coupon. The ordering process was easy, prep time was short, and the experience was overall very smooth.
Despite being there only briefly to pick up my order, I noted that the interior space has a nice vibe to it and that it was very clean.
When I arrived home hoping to enjoy my food, I discovered the only real flaw; the portion sizes. I purchased a chef's special chicken over rice and a drunken noodle. The drunken noodle was about what you'd expect and it was easily the best rendition we've had in the area. The dish was $13 which seems reasonable. The chef's special was also tasty but far overpriced for the quantity of food. It cost $16 and came with 2 pieces of bone-in chicken and then a small hardened ball of rice about the size of a hackysack.
Overall, I'd recommend enjoying the drunken noodle as a dine-in option and note that this is a quality over quantity restaurant.
Great food! Definitely, recommend the Drunken noodles! So good!
Very nice place, no frills. Tasty food! Great staff!
Delicious!
Spicy eggplant is awesome...
Totally pleasant experience. Thank you.
They are very nice and accommodating. Remade my husband's meal when he said it was too hot. Very tasty options mad we to order and to your taste.

Was looking forward to trying this place since moving here. Thai Taste disappointed me. Chicken Pad Thai = stringy chicken & dry noodles?! Had to add butter for a flavor boost and some lubrication.
This was a delivery order, so can't comment about the restaurant, or their in- house service experience. Called them to inquire if they provided delivery, they indicated that they deliver through GrubHub.
Placed an order through Grubhub for the following items:
Spring Rolls
Panang Tofu
Drunken Chicken noodles
Fried Banana
One order of spring rolls comes with 3 spring rolls, these are super lengthy spring rolls. So, you could equate them to 6 spring rolls. They tasted good.
Panang Tofu had the right mix of ginger, Cashew, and coconut milk. Not too sweet, but too consistent, just the right amounts. This also was good.
Drunken noodles were the highlight of the order. They were on the spicy side, however it was tasty. Chicken was cooked right, so were the noodles. This was excellent. Recommend ordering this item with Thai ice tea.
Overall - money well spent. Will definitely try again.
Great pad thai and Thai coffee! If you tell them to make your curry spicy, they really will make it properly spicy (they can go up to 10 in terms of spice level).
Over charged by $5 more than the menu price and added peppers to my dish (which I am not a fan off) even though it wasn't part of it.
This restaurant has 47 health violations that took place on April 11, 2022! Be careful if your eating here!
The health department review of this place has 47 violations. Some of which are handling raw chicken with the same gloves as ready to eat food. I don’t like eating raw chicken juice on my food, so I will probably skip this place.
Great food, great service!! 100% would come back for the pad thai and iced coffee
Loved this place for a while now, but disappointed after a delivery order we made of $100 worth of food and receive portions so damn small and not worth the price. I ordered the spicy seafood delight and should be called vegetables delight instead all I got was vegetables with 2 shrimps 2 scallops 2 squids for $16.95. Portions were so small for the rest of food as well. Never had I encountered this issue prior, not sure what happened.
Visited this place because I was passing by. The food was delicious. I had the spicy eggplant and veggie fried rice. I will definitely be a regular customer when I am in the area!
The best Thai food ever! We have been dining here since 2009 . Shrimp salad, Papaya salad, Shrimp cakes, Red basil snapper, Chinese broccoli, stir fried bamboo shoot , veggie fried rice, sticky rice and mango , thai iced tea all family favorites .Food is consistent in quality and taste. Service is excellent . JJ makes the best cosmopolitan hands down !!
The tum ka soup and the pad Thai are my favorites!
The staff helped me find gluten free options! Severely appreciated for someone as sensitive as I!
One of the best Thai restaurants we have been to…(and we’ve been to Thailand!!). The food was exceptionally delicious!!! There were four of us going out for lunch. Excellent food, great ambiance, great hosts, and a wonderful dining experience!!
Waste my money worse thai food ever i had
I ordered the same dish 3 times and only one was ok. The other 2 times was very salty and poorly flavor. Very disappointed.
Delicious every time! The spicy fried rice is the absolute best.
An excellent Asian-style menu with a delicious array of very reasonably priced selections to choose from. Highly recommended!!
Their food is delicious and the portions are generous! Always exceptional, friendly service.
Place is amazing! Had the sushi burger and seafood salad. Everything was fresh and delicious! Great staff as well.
Blew my mind. Not sure if it's authentic thai or not, but my wife and I both were amazed at the quality of the food and the serving size was a great deal.
I had sworn not to eat here again but I gave them one more chance. The food here has no flavor except the heat from spices and I have tried multiple dishes. I have gotten sick from eating here before and I shouldn't have returned. Never again!
The lunch portions are very generous! The spicy 3 out of three is perfect for those who love very spicy food. My kids want to eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner😆 Love the drunken noodle!
Excelente comida muy rica y el personal muy amable
The food is delicious! Also they can make a ton of their dishes gluten free and I’ve learned that I can trust them when they say it’s gluten free too :)
Very friendly, food was very good. We took a lot home, couldn't eat it all.
I noticed both chef's not wearing their mask over their mouth. One of them had it on his forehead, the other one had it under his chin. This is definitely a turn off from eating at this restaurant. If the chef sneezes and possibly has covid, then it will be transferred to the customer food. This is unacceptable. Also, we ordered a dish and it had too much soy sauce which made it too salty to eat, we told the server and she said next time tell her before she brings the check, which we did not eat any of it and only tasted it but we threw it away. Waste of money for that dish that was too salty.
Great customer service experience today, and the food good too.
The best thai food in the tri-state! Must try!
Amazing pad thai and chicken satay! Wish there was more cucumber salad tho- it was soooo good
Best thai around, amazing staff.
Incredible food. Nothing more to say! Best Tai in the county!!!
The food was delicious I got pad Thai first time here.
Far from the Thai Taste of yesteryear... gone downhill!
Service, food quality lacking.
I won't go back. Real shame too, was one of my favorites ;(
We got great service and the food was delicious.
Some of the best pad thai I've ever had. Ordered for carry out. Hot & ready in 15 minutes. Staff very friendly & helpful.
Everything here is delicious and the waitress JJ will guide you through the menu. The Pad Thai is great but try other options. Also, spice it yourself, their heat levels are insane!
My husband and I have tried several Thai restaurants and Thai taste is by far the best one! Food is amazing! We have been coming here for over 10 years! You will never be disappointed here, you can adjust the spiciness level and service is great! We love JJ, she is really sweet, kind and patient, specially with our little boys. Definitely a must one to try! :)
Very decent pricings (tastes and portion sizes to price ratio). Good service. Food are good, perhaps on the saltier side - like most restaurants. Menu could use a few more dishes, but I also like restaurants that have small menu since that meant it's more specialised. All in all a homey, family owned, traditional vibe place that has good food that's also easy on the wallet.
Thai Taste is my go to favorite Thai restaurant hands down. I've never been disappointed, it helps that the staff is always so friendly.
place was excellent...we got the fried dumplings, won ton soup, crispy duck, .....i highly recommend this place...waitress was very nice also..
We ordered Chicken and Pork Pad Thai and asked for it spicy! It was delicious and the perfect level of heat! We will be ordering here again!
Love this place. We have been going here for over 17 years. Yummy
Wonderful flavors. Willing to make truly "Thai Spicy" food on request. It's a pet peeve of mine that a lot of restaurants will not actually make it spicy when asked. I recommend trying their Tom Kha Gai, Green Curry, and Laab Gai. Also they make a perfect Thai Tea.
Food hot and delicious. Service prompt and courteous
One of our very FAVORITE places to eat!! We've been going there for YEARS!! One of the few places you can find Moo Yang.
Yummy!
Spicy Thai rice is the best thing in the world
Firstly, this review is happening in the middle of the Covid-19 Outbreak.
THIS IS THE BEST DAMN THAI PLACE AROUND!!!! BAR NONE!
I have visited multiple similar spots in the surrounding NOVA area and none. And I mean none can measure up to the accuracy, expedition of services (they are very quick), amazing taste, quantity, ant top notch customer service.
Tonight we had an amazing order of Pad Thai, Red Curry(five spice version) and Tom Yum as well. (All chicken)
The Tom Yum was a great start to the meal. It is a fantastic soup that holds a great flavor. Thai Taste does not short you on ingredients either. Unlike other locations in the area Thai Taste balances broth with solids amazingly!(This can be a meal on it's own, though my significant other and I had split this.
The Pad Thai has a nice slight sweet taste, cooked to perfection. The noodles are just right, mixed with just the right combination of flavor. Not to mention the portion size was great.
Most times when I have asked a place to " Make it spicy" I have encountered businesses that try to make the most offensive flame starter possible, I am sure some even used gasoline. Or they do not understand what spice, hot, flavor means.
Thai Taste not only understands the request, they perfected it. The Red Curry (five spice) hits the hot spot just right. You will have a nice constant heat, that rides a delicious red coconut milk sauce that brings out the many amazing flavors the dish has. (If you don't like HOT do not order this. Instead the green curry is just as amazing!!!)
Thai Taste not only did they nail the food. The time to cook was amazing, despite seeing they were quite busy. I think the quoted time during busy hours was 15-25 min.
When I got there, one can tell that Thai Taste is taking the cleanliness of their business during this craziness serious. Everything is nice clean etc. (What, did you expect anything else, this is Thai Taste we are talking about!) The woman who finalize our transaction was amazing. It was nice to see someone who was smiling, and absolutely friendly during the ongoing craziness that is Covid-19.
TLDR: You need to go here and get food. This place is AMAZING!!!
We placed a take out order and when we got it home two of the orders were wrong. One of us has a serious peanut allergy and the order we got is made with peanut sauce. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, and Basil Chicken. Both were not given to us in our take out.
When we called the woman who answered the phone kept telling me that I had ordered Panang , (that is with the peanut sauce). That was the basil chicken ...? Not even close.
She laughed a couple times. That made matters worse.
We were told we had to bring the CC back with the food for a credit.
We had given a $20 tip ... they had written $10.
They continued to argue with us. I told them I would be calling my bank to stop the charge to the restaurant.
We ended up driving back with the food and the CC.
They had already credited the CC and were more concerned with the $10 tip discrepancy...oddly since we were told we had to bring the food back along with the card...
The easiest fix would have been to apologize, offer to correct the mistake and not LAUGH at what had happened.
Been in customer service for over 30 years along with my friend.
Ate here about a Month ago and we loved it
Never again, entirely due to how we were treated.
