The dessert menu is not include in the menu and had to ask for. Mango sticky rice is good, not traditional presentation. They cut into chunks for you in a huge cocktail big cup. In order to get the sticky rice, you have to go through mango chunks first. Other restaurant uses plates and slice the mangos. Papaya salad is great. I wonder when George Mason students back, it will be very busy? The next chamber is Japanese portion, but they have different operation hours.

Our young waitress was very inexperienced and really shouldn't be a waiter at all. We requested some LEMON slices and hot tea. Hot arrived quickly and for some reason she couldn't remember to bring us Lemon slices after I asked her 3 times and then we needed some sauce for the very Bland rice bowls we ordered. Seems sad that Mum Mum has gotten to be quite average

My Mom and I were in search of great ramen and are both SOO excited that we found Mum Mum's. Everyone was so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance is beautiful too! I highly recommend the spicy garlic edamame and spicy ramen. We both can't wait to return.

It's our 2nd time visiting in a month! Service is always amazing! The food comes out flavorful, fast and hot! Love the decor and the outside seating! I attended the all white party there in 2022 which was fantastic! It would be great to do it in 2024!

We went there today for lunch. Was not busy. The indoor atmosphere was nice, simple, and relaxing. Wish we could've sit outside since the weather was gorgeous and the outdoor looked peaceful.
The service was good and quick. I was surprised they brought out two togo water cups for two out of three my kids. I was puzzling why not the third kid too but she is tall so kinda looked like a teenager. Only very small thing was we asked for additional chopsticks two times but they didn't give to us so my mil just got up and get it herself.
We ordered pad see ew shrimp, pad Thai chicken, moo yang, crispy chicken over rice with a side of fried eggs, and shrimp mum mum fried rice. The foods in general were delicious. My kids love the edamame and mum mum Thai tea. My fil is very hard to please but he said the pad see ew was very good. On the down side, usually you can't really go wrong with pad Thai but he didn't like it as much. I thought the pad Thai was good but because I liked sour. Overall, I would recommend this place and will be back again.

I've been eating here since they opened and so happy to see them expand their dinning space because they are very busy on big production performances at the Hylton Performance Center. I love their Drunken Noodles, pineapple fried rice and papaya salad. I enjoy their happy hour specials too. Their ramen noodles is delicious too.

It's a great Thai restaurant and they are also Japanese except on Monday. This was my first time to go in and sit down, and it was a Monday, so the next time I go, I will have to check out the Japanese menu. I usely pick up my food, but it was nice to go in with friends and sit down and enjoy the atmosphere.

I went this past Saturday. The food tasted great, and the service felt like the gentleman was annoyed. He tossed chop sticks at us in a very unfriendly way. I had to ask for water. It took a while to take out the order. We have come before, and it was great, so we told people about this place. I was talking to friends, and they agreed that it had not been great on their last visit. Once Sevice aligns with food it would be a 5!

Love this restaurant. Had the Mum Mum fried flounder with mango chili sauce. It was exceptional!

We ate here after a show at the Hylton Performing Arts center. It's across the street from the theater and easy walking distance. They have tons of choices on the menu and all the food is good. Their large beer comes in a huge mug.

We ordered Tokyo delight and lichitini in the drinks. It was real good. Lots of booze and taste was amazing.
We had shrimp tempura rolls, special tom yum ramen and shoyu ramen. Apart from sweet shitake mushroom rest of the ramen was really good. Tom yum ramen won the round. Chocolate lava cake was also delicious..not the best but good. We loved the big ramen wooden spoons..it really stood out and made eating ramen real easy.

Excellent Thai food.

We enjoyed celebrating my daughter’s birthday! The food was delicious, we ordered Crab Ragon, Pad Thai, Siam Beef, and Salmon two ways sushi. It was all delicious.

I have been meaning to try this place for years (it's super close to my house) and I finally did tonight. Why did I wait so long!??!?! I had the Duck on the Roll, Tuna Tataki, unagi, and a philly roll. (I was hungry when I started, so unfortunately, I did not think to take pictures.) Everything was EXCELLENT! Wait staff were great and a very comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back soon!

Overall great place

Best Ramen and Thai in the area. I dare to say their Ramen is comparable to Japanese run places in NY city, maybe even better. Although the food is fantastic, there were several occasions that my party was waiting 20+ minutes just to have someone come to our table to place order during busy lunch hours. When we finally decided to speak up, we were met with a defensive server who refused to acknowledge our concerns. I noticed several new servers who starts working there were unorganized, has little knowledge on the menu, dressed very casually (tank top, sweatpants, etc) and lasted only a few weeks. I will continue coming back regardless for the great food, but front staff management has a little bit more to be desired.

I went and got some of their take out (Drunken Noodle and Chili Basil) and while their dish was flavorful, they were asked to make it extra Thai Hot. That is not what we received. If you want something spicy, don't go here.

Great food! The Mum Mum fried rice with crispy duck was great! Thai tea smoothie was rich and flavorful . Everything was clean and organized.

The staff is very nice and welcoming, and the Thai food is delicious! I have tried the Japanese dishes a few times now and am sadly disappointed. I had found dead bugs in the seaweed salad and a hair was in my sashimi. Something tasted off about some of the shellfish I tried so I didn't finish eating it. I am hoping that the quality improves for the Japanese dishes. The Thai dishes are excellent though - I'll be coming back!

We’ve come here twice: once for lunch, once for dinner. The portions are very generous, even the lunch portions. We took food home both times. We’ve had drunken noodles w/ seafood, fried rice w/ chicken, pad see ew w/ duck, basil duck w/extra duck and pad Thai w/chicken. Both times we had the green bean appetizer which you must try. The quantity/quality of food for the price is excellent. We come from Fairfax, Virginia, Vto eat here, even though we have many Thai restaurants much closer. We 100% recommend you try it out!

I can’t give this place enough stars to express how delicious and great the service was. The staff was very attentive, the portions were amazing. I love lychee martinis and this is the one place that serves a nice big martini with plenty of lychee’s. You can tell the food is made with love and that the staff is into their craft. I honestly was debating putting out this review because I feel like once people start discovering this place it's gonna be packed. I never even do reviews like that but I was so impressed. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. Anyone who gave this place bad reviews is honestly probably trying to keep you away so they can have this find all to themselves, which I dont blame them, this place is a hidden gem. I would post pictures of my food but honestly as soon as I saw the food, I forgot and ate it all 😅 One million stars, 100/10.

I had a pleasant experience for my first time here. The spring rolls were perfectly crisp and the drunken noodles had some spice to It but both were very flavorful! I enjoyed the food as well as the service with even members who weren’t our waiter checking in periodically.

One of your upper scale asian restaurants. Good stuff. Can be a tad greasy so drink up on hot tea. There are some vegetarian options, had them all at least once (please add more!). Easy parking. Family friendly. Courteous staff. We like to get a little bit of everything and share.

Decent food

Food was delicious, we came to try the new Sushi bar. Service this night was alright. We didn't get checked on very often in the sushi dining room area. The ambiance is always nice, but found sitting over near the sushi bar was not as great due to some loud chopping or mixing machine that you could hear.

It was a regular day and Chinese food was the choice, but I don’t like too many places around me(dumfries). So we decided on MumMums. This would be our second visit. We came at happy hour also!! We ordered the green beans my favorite, and tried the veggie potstickers. The GB are delicious, the potstickers um weren’t all that. I ordered MumMums fried rice with shrimp and my partner ordered MumMums fried rice with chicken. Very delicious perusal! The service is great, yet we had a more laid back server this time. I hope you go and enjoy it. Oh yeah I had a drank! lol

I got pickup. There was a mix-up where a food delivery driver accidentally took my order. The restaurant immediately whipped up another one for me and threw in an extra drink. Extremely nice staff, very responsive and communicative. Great food too! Would order again.

Mum Mum is my favorite Thai Restaurant in this area! Their food is amazing, their drinks superb and they have food for every flavor pallet and do a great job for people on dietary or food restrictions. Even beyond just being my favorite Thai place, they are one of my all-time favorite restaurants.

I ordered two orders of shrimp summer rolls and it literally came with one shrimp in each roll. This is awful. If you are going through inflation issues then accommodate accordingly. Don't make your quality suffer for it.

I've been here so many times over the years and they are consistently perfect.

I came to Mum Mums for lunch on 12/21/23 with a group, and I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken bowl. My food took 35 minutes to come, the rest of the group had already finished eating by the time my food came out, they clearly had forgotten about the order. The teriyaki bowl itself was very mediocre, it was just chicken thigh with sauce over plain white rice, with some raw shredded cabbage on the side. The food was very underwhelming and took a very long time to make, and on top of that Mum Mum had already added gratuity to the bill. I am very disappointed and will be telling my work group to go to alternate places for lunch instead.

First time and the food was out of this world. I had the drunken noodles and I don't know if I've ever had better. Truly excellent in every respect. I'll be going again! 😎

Mum Mum’s never fails to impress me with their exceptional and bold flavors. They have launched a Soft Menu with a good amount of Ramen options. Plus, the chef is super kind, which is to be expected as the service at this restaurant is phenomenal. I had the Tori Shoyu Ramen and I will definitely give it a 10/10. The broth is perfectly curated, not too salty or bland. The crunchiness of the fried chicken remained consistent even after indulging in the noodles and Ajitama. Don’t walk but run to have a taste of this new soft menu, I can’t wait to come back and try another ramen dish! (The soft menu is available Tuesday-Sunday) Enjoy!

Must try from the menu is their signature Thai ice tea, topped with whipped cream. Super creamy and delicious. The interior was really good with huge bar in the back. The service was quick. Ordered chicken thai basil and salad which was surprisingly refreshing. Spice level was average. Food was loaded with flavors so would definitely recommend to put this on your list.

Chili Basil and the Pork Salt are amazing! We haven't tried anything else. Have eaten here 5xs and it's always delicious!

I’ve been here a few times now, both dine in and takeout. Every single time, it’s been hot and delicious. This time, I ordered Pad See Ew for takeout but didn’t get to eat it right away. After I got home from picking it up about 25 minutes later, it was still hot. I highly recommend Mum Mum!

food quality is very bad. It used to be best Thai place ever.we loved going there but not anymore.We Oder spicy Fried rice and got a watery taste fried rice. No spices at all. Service was bad too!! We will not go there again. If you wanna eat Thai Go to Haymarket Thai place.

I love this place. My wife and I come all the time. The only thing that I don't like is the seats. After about 20 minutes, the seats get uncomfortable.

Look at this pad thai, sweet but not overly. Waiting on pork chili sauce … it’s here and it’s glorious. Very nice waiter who rec’d the crispy pork that comes with crispy green beans and he was trustworthy!! This dish is DELICIOUS. I mean delicious. Right amount of spicy and packed with flavor. Tucked inside GM auxiliary campus in medical office center. Really great and ascetic indoor and outdoor spaces. Beautiful wood tables albeit sticky. Great customer service. Have it marked on maps list for Happy Hour so will return for that.

I had the most horrible experience ever here. I ordered takeout and sat down and ordered a drink while waiting. There was a huge bug in my drink, that actually got in my mouth. When I realized it was a bug I spit back in the cup and the worker came over and picked the bug up with his hand and said that it was a fruit fly and they come in the kitchen sometimes. Without washing his hands or anything he proceeded to make me another drink. After going to the bathroom and vomiting, I left in complete disgust. Not that I even wanted to eat there but he did not even offer to discount my meal. Horrible experience! Prior to this experience, I have ate there and the food was good but this experience has completely turned me off.

Food was amazing! We had the edamame and duck roll for appetizers. The rolls were delicious. I had the Siam Beef and the mix of need with the kick of ginger was so good. My date had the Crying Tiger and his plate looked delicious. It had vegetables and grilled peppers. Everything we ate was good. For dessert we had the Affogato and it was good as well. The service was amazing. They were always paying attention to what we needed. Great place to go eat Thai Food.

Great little spot near George Mason in Manassas. Went for a late dinner and they were nice enough to take us in even though they were closing in a hour. The food was good and the service was great! I always find the atmosphere quaint.

I tried this restaurant back in January. Have been craving it ever since, literally thinking about it often.The green and red curry dishes are phenomenal, I get them with tofu and veggies. The fried rice with green very was fantastic too. The iced coffee with whipped cream is very refreshing :) 10/10 would recommend.

They purposely give you less than a child's amount of rice, so you pay them for extra. They also charge a fee to use a credit card, which i's probably illegal. The panang chicken was good...pad thai was too sweet.

I ordered Siam beef and Masaman curry and both were excellent. Well prepared with quality ingredients. Superb flavors. Spicy levels were spot-on. I would highly recommend both dishes, and I’m sure their others are great as well! I can’t wait to eat here again.

If you can't handle heat don't come hereThe first time I came here I got the crispy duck and it was amazing so I just had to come back to try the ribeye. On their menu they have this beautiful steak that looks perfect so I ordered it. When the actual meal came out it was a completely different cut of meat overcooked and under seasoned to which I ordered what looked to be a seafood medley. When I tell you I thought I bit into a ghost chilly pepper chiiiile. I thought I was going to die. So again If you can't handle heat don't come here.

I went to mum mum and showed the picture of one of reviewers and I said I want this dish, and find it delicious. So when it came well I’m not impressed. The pork belly was liked a left over meat that been microwaved and dried and it was so hard to chew. Like I’m chewing a rubber. When I first looked at it I knew the meat is not fresh. I ate some meat but did not finished it. Why on earth did you do that mum mum?
