Family-run restaurant offering traditional Thai cooking in a casual strip-mall space.
Everything about this place was superb. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The dishes were all very good and great sized portions. And they were not stingy with the Shrimp, like so many places are nowadays. Also, this has been the only thai restaurant that has offered a large Thai iced tea. It's a great place to visit after an event at Eagle Bank Arena.
There are a lots of food choices available in this shopping center, and most have a road front entry. Bangkok Golden's is on the side and interior, so they may be sometimes overlooked. Make sure you seek them out, they are well worth it!
I’ve been eating at this Thai restaurant since I was a little girl and it still does not disappoint. I am usually not a fan of duck, but they have figured it out and it was magical! So happy to see them still doing well.
The Tom Yum soup is also perfection.
The atmosphere has always been a bit strange inside, tables are close together and it’s hard to have a private conversation. I saw LOTS of to go orders though.
I would not say this place is anything out of the world, but it is still good. If you get the lunch special prices, it comes out to a very good deal. If you are around the area, it is a good option worth checking out. I will definitely check out more dishes from this place.
Great and authentic Thai cuisine. The staff there is as nice as can be and the food is reasonably priced given the quality and portion size. I highly reccomend visiting and trying the chicken Rama.
We called one fried banana, papayal salad, a pad thai and a thai violet. Food is quite oily, unlike other Thai restaurant I have been to. Maybe restaurant near universities tend to have oily food since students like it? I am not sure but I don't prefer oily food.
Staff here is super friendly and helpful.
Wife and I were craving Thai while driving nearby and ordered from Bangkok Golden Thai. We weren't disappointed. The lad Thai hit just perfect.
Great and authentic Thai cuisine. The staff there is as nice as can be and the food is reasonably priced given the quality and portion size. I highly reccomend visiting and trying the chicken Rama.
Great food and service, but when the restaurant got full, it was so loud it was hard to talk and hear. They should put up a lot of soundproofing so people can have nice conversations.
Service was super fast and food was very good. Not a fancy place but that’s not what matters.
Food is just average at best.
First time here and the food is exactly as I have heard. The classic chiken satay with peanut sauce was great. The masumon curry was served in a large bowl with rice and the chicken rama was just as delicious as the curry. Neither were spicy and both were wonderful.
We enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious. We are moving nearby, so we will definitely be regulars of this place.
Small, cozy place to enjoy Thai cuisine, food here was amazing, service as well. All plates & cups dishes they use very nice fashionable and cute! Very pleasing experience.
Excellent food and a fair price. Pretty waitresses too!
Terrible customer service. Forced to tip as much as they wanted. Food is no better than any Thai food place. So, why go here ?
A small out of the way restaurant in a strip mall across from GMU. The restaurant might be small but the flavor is large. Great place to go for Thai food. We had Pad Thai and Basil Duck.
The food here is superb, and has the freshness of Thai cuisine, especially their Pad Khing Sod. Lunch specials are reasonably priced at $9.25, which is hard to find among Thai restaurants in the DMV. I also like the Pad Kra Prao Talay, which tastes just like Bangkok.
Service was really nice, and the restaurant is really clean. It can be hard to miss, however, if you don't go past the Giant, but once you find it, I definitely recommend coming here for a great dining experience.
Great food here. Clean bathrooms.

Excellent food excellent service!
Decent sweet and sour chicken, portion sizes not as big as desired
My son and I love this restaurant! The people are professional and kind. The food is great! We order from them all the time and have never had a bad experience.
We come here to family of 8 lunch the food was ok but people who work there make us not enjoy our the meal and unwelcome not friendly they rushed picking up plate before we even fished unprofessional she rushed with check and they keep looking at us while eating we felt uncomfortable I will not recommend anyone here specially if you are large group

The food and lemonade is amazing
Great food!

The food was okay, pad thai a bit dry. The curry was much better. we came for lunch and alot of customer, but the food was pretty quick deliver
Great place. I go all the time. Maybe not the best ever good, but great for the price being near DC.
Very good food at very good prices. Fast and friendly service!
I usually order carry out, but enjoyed bringing a couple friends this time to dine in. Love the complementary soup. The food is great. And be sure to get dessert: sticky rice and mango. Prices reasonable. Service is friendly and quick.
This place is always great! You can't go wrong with anything you order.
Great place to eat, awesome atmosphere.
Best thai in Fairfax hands down.
The veggie fried rice was delicious! Everyone who works there is friendly and attentive.

Staff here is super friendly and helpful.
the food's so good i thought i died and ascended to heaven oh my god
Really yummy food! Seafood is excellent too!
The food all looked good and was delivered fast (grubhub) but all the flavors were fishy to me or smelled off. The red curry was not sweet and the chicken was salty. The spring rolls had some extra fish flavor. The curry puff tasted good but the crust fell apart. Coconut sauce on mango sticky rice was watery. The fried bananas were fried in oil that also was fishy. This is seriously the worst Thai food I've ever had, ever, which was surprising to me because I didn't think was possible.
Had crispy duck. It smelled horrible, like very old duck deep fried in batter. Inedible. Had fried seafood. Was okay but the amount doesn't justify the $20 price tag. Also Website prices are wrong. Tom yum was okay.
I ordered the Kanom Jeeb and chicken drunken noodles and it was very good. I would order from this place again. They were so kind and sweet. Loved thier service.
The food was good but they gave me a small portion. I spent $13 on fried rice in a tray and they filled it halfway. They didn't give me my money's worth.
They don’t read your instructions when they deliver the foods.
This place has the best food. Love it
Good food but service could have been better
I love this place! Great food and wonderful staff! I am working hard to lose weight, and they are happy to modify their drunken noodles, and give me just the vegetables with no noodles!
My boyfriend and I found this hidden gem looking for Thai places around the area and it was phenomenal! The service was very good and they were super quick getting out food out! Which tasted amazing! We both had the Thai iced tea and then I had the chicken pad Thai and my boyfriend got a garlic beef dish with vegetables. Our first experience here was wonderful and we can’t wait to go back!
Fast friendly service. Food on bland side. Restaurant could've been a little cleaner. Great prices with good portions.
Authentic Thai food with a very reasonable price. Lunch special with soup is less than $9 plus tax and tips. For the recent pandemic inflation, they did not increase their price and pass on to their customers.
Best Pad Thai I've had in a while!
Best restaurant in Fairfax
Great place with tasty food
Very quick service! Food is good as well.
The food here is really good. The location is kind of hidden, so you have to walk into the area to find it. Highly recommended.
My newly found favourite Thai spot! Not sure why I had a hard time so far finding a decent Thai place in Fairfax area. This one is it. Loved the Pad Thai (weekdays lunch special 11am to 3pm) and Tom Yum soup! Very reasonably priced too. Love that we can sit outside in the University mall complex.
Nicely spiced, well prepared food
I enjoy coming here for lunch once a week. Starter soup and lunch entrees as great.
Consistently excellent Thai classics.
Great little neighborhood restaurant. We go there often and enjoy spring rolls, pad see uew and drunken noodles
Excellent Thai food. Love the shrimp pad Thai. I recommend this Thai restaurants.
Staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. The best Thaifood I've had in Fairfax so far. I've been to this location many times and will continue to support them, excellent food and service!
Tastes great but they skimp on the meat.
Their food is great quality and tastes amazing, but barely has enough meat. I ordered chicken and vegetables (pad pak) and there was legit only 5 small pieces of chicken... it wasn’t cheap priced either.
Drunken noodles was below average. The noodles had no taste or flavor. Hardly any sauce was there. The quantity of the food was very less for the price. Ginger chicken was good.
Very delicious and super friendly staff!! Highly recommend this location in fairfax
Cold atmosphere
Our favorite Thai restaurant in NoVA since 2005. Bangkok noodles with chicken are absolutely delicious!
Excellent customer service
Use to come here a lot when family lived in the area. Food was always good, everybody could pick what they wanted, and good prices. Never had a issue. Wish it was closer to me!
The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff were excellent. But, the "Crispy Duck Basil" was not as I expected. It was truly deep fried that I could just taste the burned oil rather than the meat! I should have chosen something else.
A hidden gem, probably have the best drunken noodle I have ever had in the DMV area. It is legit and authentic Thai food without breaking the bank!
Amazing food & wonderful/friendly staff!
Amazing thai place. Their crispy basil duck is DELICIOUS. So are their curry puffs and pad see ew. The massaman curry is bad though, and thai fried rice can be improved. One of the best thai places I've been to in quite some time.
Constantly delicious and reasonably priced Thai food. Love this place and have for years, always hits the spot!
The menu is large and the food is delicious. Great 'spicy' levels and full of flavor. Currently doing carryout without indoor seating. Perfect portions for lunch.
Food is always good, best Thai in the area, and all the workers I have met have been nice. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars IMO is inconsistent spices. If you order the same dish 3 days in a week one will be really spicey(my preferred), one may be medium, and one will be mild. Not knowing which one you'll get to start with it's hard to ask for a spice level...if it's a spicey day and you ask for spicey, it'll will be way more than you thought.
Omg thee best Thai food! When I'm out of town this has to be a stop before I head home. Delish
Very tasty food. Can’t speak to authenticity because I’ve never been to Thailand. Pad Thai and panang curry chicken are some favorites. We’ve been eating here for 15 years.
The Tum Yum Gai here is the absolute best and my family and I are regulars who love going to this place. Even with all that’s going on, they’ve managed to exceed our expectations and give us great Thai takeout (which is saying something considering my dad doesn’t like Thai food). I’d honestly would give them more than 5 stars and would definitely recommend this place to friends!
My favorite Thai food restaurant. Their Pad Thai is the best around.
Good food
Delicious Food. Very good Customer Service. Large portions.the Wonton soup is delicious. So is the Pad Thai. Clean, cozy, great place to eat.
Very nice taste and services
Everything was delicious
Best Thai I’ve had in this area. We had the red curry and the Pad Thai and it was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.
Have never had a bad experience here. Coconut duck curry is the best and on par with what Sisters Thai makes but way cheaper!
Excellent food and good prices. Staff is attentive and friendly.
Very good service and tasty food, authentic Thai
The best Thai restaurant in this area. I really like TOMYUM soups Wich is very very spicy.
Fast, good food.
I go here all the time for red curry. Service is wonderful, and the food is always just what the doctor ordered.
Great food. Low price. Nice staff. The curry is great
Delicious! We moved from the area and always get take out when passing through.
Favorite local Thai place, great food where you can customize your spice level. Their Kanom Jeeb, an amazing steamed dumpling appetizer, is a mandatory pick every time we order. Friendly staff, and a clean restaurant with very nice ambience if you want to eat in.
Great food and fast service!
Horrible customer service. Once is a fluke. Twice shame on me.
Fantastic service and food was delicious. Nice bright atmosphere, unfortunately, very noisy.
Do not go here
Walked out..my husband and i was there for 10 minutes and wasnt even greeted
Love their food... authentic Thai cuisine and great staff. Quick service and fresh food... a must in Fairfax.
Very good place, good food and service.
The food and service is amazing
Excellent food. Great service at a good price.
Great service! Clean establishment and the food was very tasty. One problem, the serving size was like a kid’s portion. I’m still hungry.
Great food and table service. Recomended! Loved the chicken Red curry.
Great customer service!
The four of us got carry-out pad Thai and they had it ready in less than 15 minutes after we walked in the door. The food is delicious and generous portions are served. Prices are reasonable.
Great food
Great food
Food and service are good
The masamum curry is very good. The staff could try being more friendly and patient with their customers.
Decent Thai food close to campus. Wait staff were a little slow in getting to our table, though.
Always love their drunken noodles with tofu and beef or chicken. Staff is awesome. We are regulars.on the weekend. I forgot my credit card one evening and they kept it safety in their register. A great gesture.
Pad thai is delicious. Cozy place, quiet environment. Felt comfortable having lunch with a colleague.
Never recommend this restaurant.Staffs are too rude and services are so bad.Staffs don’t care the customers. We had to wait long time to get services from staffs ( for example tissue , water etc).
Horrible service. Our server gave us mean faces. She talked to us down. She was extremely rude to us. I was looking forward to eating here. We ended up getting up and leaving. It's the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Their lost.
The soup they serve before your meal is delicious. I've always had friendly and incredibly fast service.
We've been going to this restaurant since 2003. The service and staff have always been above and beyond. The food has always been excellent and made with care. We moved 2hrs away, but whenever we are in the area we look forward to visiting our favorite Thai restaurant. This is a hidden gem of a place!
Very impressive food, quick and polite! I'll be back in the future
Really good sauces, feels healthy, yummy.
Never recommend this restaurant. One of my favorite Thai foods is the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai from this restaurant was just horrible, taste was like noodles are swimming in a honey pot- I meant it is too sweat. I don't need to try other foods in this restaurant because pad Thai is kinda basic, basic, basic food Thai people can make it. If they can not make a eatable pad Thai, that would tell everything.
I love their Shrimp Pad Thai and their Coconut Tom Khai Soup is great. I eat in and do take out regularly. Great place to go before seeing a movie at University Mall Theatre
1 can coke= 2.50$!!!! the waiter told me the refill was free later charge me for 3 drinks. Bad food, less quantity horrible .if I could I would -10 rating.....i will never go there in my entire life
It's right across from George Mason University. Let me tell you, of all the thai places I have been to, this has been one of the best. The food is consistently very good and in my opinion, they make best pad thai I've tried. Service is consistently good/decent.
I ordered three appetizers. Takeout, so I can't speak to service or ambience much. The curry puffs were unexciting and different from others I've had. However, I enjoyed the nam tok salad very much (spicy) and the satay portion was both tasty and generous. I'll return to try an entree, probably the mussamun curry. The place is close to the movie theatre, btw.
