I will say this, once we got past the initial mistake with my order, it went relatively well. I ordered the ginger dish - Best Ginger/Med spicy - with shrimp. It came out with chicken….but they quickly, and with no pushback, corrected the error. Medium wasn’t spicy at all, I had to add chili paste. The staff wasn’t overly worrisome - they barely came over - but that was ok, I didn’t need much. I would stop here again if I was hungry and in the area. As stated, I dined alone…except for the worrisome ‘nat’, which tried to keep me company while I ate!

I even stated I wanted the ‘lunch ginger dish….’ when I had placed my order. And just like ‘shrimp’ got translated to ‘chicken’, I guess ‘lunch’ got translated to ‘dinner’ SMH…and my mind is changed and I haven’t even left the building…I won’t be back. I don’t like to feel like I was ‘bamboozed’ into a purchase cost!

I was in the mood for soup and started searching for something close within 15 minutes or less from Chester. I reviewed the menu and the noodle soup with Tom Yum broth caught my eye. I arrived 20 minutes before they closed for lunch but they did not turn me away and say they were closing soon like many other businesses would.
The soup was a generous size and I didn’t get to eat it all but believe me, I tried. I especially like the broth as it was exactly what I needed for a cold. I had the edamame and green tea with my meal.
I was not rushed out of there but was told to take my time. The music was soothing and not too loud as I enjoyed my meal. I will visit again and try other entrees on the menu. I definitely recommend.

Atmosphere was good, very clean and modern.
Our waitress was a bit short with us until another one came on shift and started taking better care of us, she seemed more pleasant then.
Food was not as good as you’d want, Especially for the price. My fried rice seemed overly oiled and without much flavor.
May or may not go back again to try a different dish.

Garlic favor is awesome! The garlic is tastefully part of the dish without being overpowering. We have ordered this dish several times. It is that good.

I have had the red and the yellow curries so far. The red was great, but the yellow was even better!

Best massaman curry I’ve ever had. Fantastic

Got the “amazing Thailand”. It was a very sweet tasting entree which I wasn’t prepared for considering it was a bunch of vegetables, rice and beef. The sweetness really hid the taste of meat which was disappointing and I felt like I was eating a dessert. On the plus side, the taste was good and it came out within 5 minutes of ordering and was SO hot.

Serving size was small and quality wasn’t there for the price you pay. I couldn’t tell if the ingredients were truly fresh or not.

Fantastic food in this hidden gem of Chester. I get the yellow curry every trip and have to get the red curry dumplings as well. Fantastic every time!

The below remark was approx 6 months ago. The restaurant is very clean. Although what I ordered was very salty. The waitress was very accommodating and I received a less salty dish which was delicious. I will be back.

Fast forward to tonight. The restaurant is the same very clean. I got the broccoli and shrimp a simple dish and it was delicious. Our waiter Toey was amazing. I will be back.

Bangkok Thai used to be delicious but they've really gone downhill in the last 3- 6 months. The food used to be full of flavor and the spice levels were fairly spot on. Now, for the second order in a row my red curry fried rice, thai hot, is bland and not spicy. This really makes me sad because I used to be obsessed.

Just left here. I didn’t find this to be a very warm or friendly place. The vibe here was just vacant.
The young lady brought the menu, but I knew what I wanted right away and so I ordered saving her the inconvenience of an additional trip.
The food was brought out, and I would have to say that it was tasty and warm. After that there was no follow up trips to my table. Inquiring if I needed anything or what else and as I ate, my glass became empty and never refilled until after I was done and when she showed I asked for more drink.
They also brought the check and it was delivered to the table with the person bent over and reaching at arms length to put it on the table…. not very friendly.
I am not angry about this, but I’m certainly glad there is more than this place to eat

Kinda bland which one might expect for the area. Some soups came out after others got their dishes. We were going to share the dishes hot. Never seen that before.

I ordered the shrimp pad thai dish. The portion was ample. The dish was tasty except for the shrimp. They basically were just boiled shrimp and just mixed it. I think they should have been cooked in the sauce, as you can see there is no sauce on them. The noodles were very hot, and the shrimps were not. The atmosphere and decor were great.

Very fast but friendly service! Highly recommend the pad woon sen (pictured) and my lunch partner had no complaints about the lo mein. I do wish my tofu was cooked a little less, though — if you're able, opt for a proper meat.

This is one of our go-to places. Food is always top notch.
Last visit on 5/13/23, the Sticky Rice with Mango was not only delicious with what felt like almost 2 Mangoes, but the presentation was beautiful!

Let me just start off by saying I normally do not leave negative reviews of places. Where do I start let's start with the price of the food, it's expensive in the amount you pay for the items, ordered from 3rd party and had delivery for crispy spring rolls and Drunken noodles with extra seafood. Ended up paying $3 for seafood option then extra $5 for the extra total bill was almost $46. Now on to the quality of the food, ordered Thai spicy and the food wasn't spicy at all maybe mild at best, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, and the squid/calamari in the entree was like rubber. On top of that the veggies were also overcooked and the sauce at the bottom looked like it was straight water and grease. I am a huge fan of Thai food and this wasn't the best at all by any means. I have been to Thailand as well and this food isn't really all that authentic either, I would much rather go to the one that is closer to me in Hopewell and pay less for better quality, tried you guys based on all the positive reviews and gave multiple chances. Each dish I had wasn't a fan of any of them at all.

First time eating here. Us adults have eaten Thai many times times but never the kids. We had Chicken Red Curry which was delicious and not too spicy. The kids had chicken satay and rice. And Bangkok chicken. They loved theirs and one child is very picky. We tasted all and everything was wonderful. The service was fantastic. We will definitely go back. This place is a hidden gem.

Bangkok Thai. Okay so I love Thai food, I love Asian food. So i was in the are for a month and my morns were very early and I didn’t meal prep for lunch most days and this is how i found this restaurant. The first time i was a sit down, i had pineapple basil rice with yellow curry. Not sure i can do a review cause i didn't take a picture so im sliding it on here. It was good, but not spicy enough for me 😩. Great service. They have a t.v. And if your seat is facing it you can watch them bake cakes and desserts, an absolute favorite, why? Because it matched the peaceful ambiance of the restaurant and who in the heck doesn’t want to see desserts getting made. Also, ALSO, this place is not loud at all, a great place to wind down. Okay here in the picture is Bangkok Chicken, i got it to go. I asked for hot oil sauce with it, absolute fail, it was like burnt pan bottoms, i am a hot oil sauce guru, its the closest i can get to sambal matah (if you don’t know what it is please google it, the absolute best) okay so the bangkok chicken was service with white rice, i drizzled sauce over my rice since it was on the side and not underneath the chicken. The rice was good texture, light in flavor, not sticky, Rice. The bangkok chicken was basically general tso chicken, 😩. I did not want that at all, but hey i ordered it. It was really good and super spicy!!! 5 stars for the spice. The chicken was a great texture and had great flavor. I think this lunch was $13.75 and i was stuffed.

Food was good. However service was not. The waitress was very short and seemed uninterested in actually helping or taking our order but she was pleased to help the white guests that were in here. She even took their order at their table while we had to go up to the counter and give her our order. When we received our food it was in to-go containers while the white customers were served on real plates with a smile. I’m not sure if that’s just her demeanor or if she’s racist either way it was unpleasant and rude. Food was good but definitely not worth returning for. 0/10 would not recommend.

Went in on a Friday evening, not a whole lot busy as my order came out in less than 15 mins. Clean and friendly service. Ordered chicken satay and drunken noodles. Satay was delicious but drunken noodles was lacking a bit.

Best Thai in the area. Their food is so good. Their sauces are so delicious and they spice it so well. If you don't want spicy, they got you. If you like it spicy, they will deliver you to heaven.

Delicious food. Spicy level is low and they add Chilli paste on the side, so you can add as much as you'd like, I find it practical. Recommended.

I had the fresh spring rolls and beef noodle soup and it was meh. The rolls were quite small and the beef broth was watery. Not the authentic Thai experience I expected. I wouldn’t recommend.

First time going here. The menu is a bit intimidating as it's different than any other place I have been. It looked like you had to order everything separate, like there wasn't a meat with 2 veggies plate. Confusing even after I asked the waitress. And the prices aren't beside each item other than the side items. I wanted Thai food, not confusion. I left without ordering and went to a Chinese restaurant down the street instead.

Food was good and would definitely eat the garlic favor dish again. I wish they would have asked for a spice level or had additional spice available as the food was not spicy at all.

Exceptional staff, service and awesome Thai entrees, soups and great customer service friendliness. Definitely, one of the best Thai restaurants in the region. Worth every visit.

I continue to come back to this restaurant to try more menu items. I haven't been disappointed yet! I go over my lunch break at work and the employees are always friendly and efficient.

The restaurant looks much smaller than it actually is. It's very clean and has a calming, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was attentive and helpful, but the food was definitely the star of our visit. Delicious, fresh and hot. We will definitely be back again.

The pad Thai is great, the fried rice is a must have, the volcano shrimp is legit BUT please PASS OVER the crab/chicken cakes (🤢). Great customer service. Their hours of operation is slim! 5-10pm I believe.

Update: I still really like this place but had to dock a star when I returned recently while visiting home. It may have just been an off day, but we ordered what we did before and both of our dishes were kind of meh. I don't know what changed, but I'm really hoping the next time we go, it will be as delicious as the first time we went.

Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. My boyfriend ordered some takeout curry from them before, but when we dined in today and ordered it again, he noted that he was given a lot more food dining in. Just something to note. Would recommend if you're looking for a great Thai place

Amazing! October 9th went with my significant other after a mini adventure and getting reacquainted with the area.. saw Bangkok Thai and was not disappointed!

Presentation and service, on point! The server was very attentive, and took care of us.

The sauces were all on point.. I loved the cucumber one. The curry bites (look like potstickers in the photos) were awesome, and I'm not big on mega heat.. so I didn't get to finish my yellow curry, but it was great. Forgot to take a picture of the curry dishes, but the ice cream with the banana spring roll was yummy!

After leaving I felt guilty because we were the last customers of the night, but I never felt rushed.

Listen. I've been CRAVING those puffs. Went there today because the storm knocked out power, and I'm so in love. The sauces are still on point. Money bags are fantastic and are like mini pot pies but cutely wrapped!

I got quite a few apps this time, and so worth it.

Last time I did this, as seen above, I didn't like spicy. Listen, my boyfriend has tainted me, and I'm now in love with it. The yellow curry wasn't spicy after the Bangkok noodles dish (N7), but I really really enjoyed the soy garlic. It was pure heaven aromatic coming from the dish, and it didn't disappoint with flavor!

Seriously, I missed the curry puffs, I wanted them for so long and it was better than last time. Ugh that cucumber sauce is gonna be my happy place!

The online ordering system is excellent. It was nice to be able to customize my order and have it all ready by the time I got there to pick it up. This was our first time trying Bangkok Thai and the food was great! I ordered my dish at the Thai Hot level and the spice had a nice, slow burn. Food was fresh, hot, and very tasty. The waitress was kind the decor is basic. We order the crab rolls which didn't taste like crab so we asked what was used to make it and was informed that it was a mixture of crab amd chicken. And not sure what my husband ordered but it tasted like orange chicken and was to salty. Maybe our view is biased since we've been to Thailand but the food was average at best. Fried rice was food.

Not sure of its authentic or not, as I have never been to Thailand, but it's good! I had the fried wonton and chicken satay for appetizers and then the garlic lovers with beef for dinner. It was all excellent and definitely recommend.
