I ended up ordering the Drunken Noodles with beef, and the lunch special had two veggie dumplings and a tofu soup to accompany it. I didn't really like the soup that was part of the lunch special to be honest and I would have chosen a different soup had I had the full menu but unfortunately it seemed as though they didn't want anyone ordering off of the regular full menu. I wish this was advised beforehand. The food tasted good and the service and the atmosphere were okay as well, as this restaurant is somewhat casual. The only downside is what I mentioned with regards to not being able to order other items off of their full menu. Thank you

Positives: Authentic Lao/Thai food. Wonderfully seasoned, great prices for portions, and the interior is absolutely stunning! My Thai aunties and I are regulars. This place is always busy because of the amazing food. Wait staff are kind and helpful. Lovely plating.

Negatives: This is a popular place for online orders, so the restaurant quickly becomes full with Door Dashers during peak hours. The restaurant will become packed and crowded quickly. Soft shell crab was mid.

I was near the front door waiting for my party and the lady in charge told me to stop opening the door because I’m annoying her. Ordered Yen Ta fo, and it had hair in it; ordered pork fried rice, got served chicken fried rice, and; ordered Kao Moo Daeng and got served old rice and old pork that seemed to be stored for over a week. This is not good Thai food, so am not sure who has given this place 5 stars, but it's nowhere close to a quality place. You have far better options in Springfield and Herndon for good Thai food.

Tastes very good. Usually not very crowded when I go.

I've been to Thailand nine times, and my wife is Thai. I simply don't know of a better Thai place for the money in Northern VA. I've had different experiences in how long it takes for the food to come out, but it has always been worth the wait. (I'd also suggest to reviewers to go beyond Pad Thai and Spring Rolls and try some of the other specialties in the menu.) The Papaya Salad is always good, as is the crispy Duck Basil, the Kao Soi, etc. They also used to have specials featuring foods from the northeastern corner of the country which I was always happy to see.

Although Thai Deelish has some of the best Thai food in the area, I can no longer give it 5 stars due to recent price increases. Before September 23' I would order out once a week while at work. The portion to price ratio was one of the best in the area. Now, I only order out from here once every few month. Prices were increased dramatically, an I can no longer justify eating here that often.

Price increase as of mid September 2023. Previous prices to portion size was great. Now not so much. Food is pretty good for local Thai restaurants. But with the price increases I’m not so sure it’s worth visiting anymore.

We were denied service because the waitress thought our ids were fake.
She asked for our ids, a total of four times, and interviewed us on our addresses.
We were patient, and complied with her demands, but then we had to leave because we spent an hour waiting to be asked what we wanted to eat.
We waited and told her we were leaving and she was acted surprised and asked if we chose the wrong place, just mocking us.
My friend then told her we needed to be somewhere so that she understood it was a time concern, because I did end up losing an appointment.
We wanted wine to celebrate my friends birthday, and I wanted her to try Thai food for the first time.
We were discriminated because we are both young women and have disabilities.I’ve never encountered a situation like that, but it left my blood boiling.
We then proceeded to go to another place Parallel. Where we were served right away and treated with respect!!

Came here for a quick thai food. The food wasn't bad, and they also offered lunch special (although we did go during dinner time). Their sizzling plate looked delicious when one of our friend ordered it. Also we had regular curry and pad thai, it wasn't bad.

Its not the greatest thai food I have ever had, but it wasn't the worst! The place is quiet, and doesnt seem like they experience busy foot traffic.

The parking lot is huge and shared with other stores. The restaurant is small.

Food is good and competitively priced than other Thai establishments in Ashburn. Good thing is that they don't charge extra for any customizations that you request for a dish and no issues in giving extra hot sauce.
But if want a good Thai dinner customized to your needs this is one of the good places to go. My first preference would be Thai place in Ashburn village.

My whole family loves this place. We don't get to eat there often but everytime we go there - for dinner or take-out - it's been great. As a vegan, I appreciate all the tofu options and they are clear if a dish contains egg. My son - a picky eater - also likes their food. They are in a strip-mall, so parking is easy and we never have to park far away. Overall, it's a fun atmosphere with upbeat decor and a polite, warm staff. This is our go-to Thai place...now, if only there was one closer to my house. I highly recommend this place if you want to try Pineapple Stir Fry, enjoy a good Pad Thai, or like Pad See Ew. Our friends - who put us onto Deelish - like their curries and the drunken noodles. If you're looking for a good, affordable, family-friendly Thai Place, then give Thai Deelish a look.

AMAZING for catering. They use EZcater and were phenomenal. I was texted by a real person (not a bot) after I asked a question, and all my questions and concerns were addressed promptly! We had some food allergies and they handled them so carefully. The portions were generous, food was hot and on time. I will be using them time and time again! Highly recommend!!

The food here is 10/10 every time. They never get the order wrong for takeout, and it is very reasonably priced. The only asterisk is that sometimes the food isn’t ready within time stated when you order, but it is WORTH THE WAIT. If the website says 30 minutes I usually wait 40 and everything is streamlined, so keep it in mind if you are ordering from their site. Overall, best value in terms of food quality to price in the Ashburn area.

We’ve been ordering from Thai Delish for the past 5-6 years. I always get the fried tofu and garden rolls. ☺️ The tofu is never soggy unless left in the carry out container over a period of time, but they’ve changed the packing to avoid this. The fresh garden rolls have fresh ingredients. I can’t speak about the other dishes, except, the lettuce wraps and pad Thai (enjoy as well).

Honestly I used to love getting food from here but I will never give them my business again. I called in my order and the lady that spoke to me talked so fast and really seemed to be in a rush. When I went in to pick up my order there was ONE table occupied. So clearly they weren’t THAT busy even if they had online orders. Anyways she asked for my name but I told her whoever I spoke to on the call didn’t even ask for my name. Anyways, I paid and was told to wait on the side. When my order came out I noticed they gave me pineapple shrimp fried rice instead of pineapple shrimp curry. At this point I hadn’t even left the restaurant and I respectfully told them they got one part of the order wrong to see if they could correct it. Instead she rudely stated that she read my order back to me twice on the call which was SUCH A LIE. If you’re not going to fix at least don’t lie and say you repeated the order twice. There’s something to be said about customer service. I’ll just take my business elsewhere next time.

We love getting Thai Deelish for lunch. It’s my mom and I’s local favorite for lunch time. They’re fast and very friendly each time. They’re also clean which is a plus. The food is always on point. The best way I feel I can explain this place, is the food is more like cheap Chinese food rather than Thai. The drunken noodles are not spicy and come with large cuts of random vegetables, seems unusual. I also ordered larb gui and it had two old wilted pieces of lettuce in it and didn't taste as fresh as the dish usually is. It is cheaper than surrounding Thai in the area but it also tastes cheap and uninspired. It's the most bland Thai food I've ever had.

The Panang curry here is amazing! Also the pad Thai is the perfect blend of flavors and a topped with a ton of protein (my favorite is the chicken or tofu). The portions are large and they’re usually pretty quick. I didn’t love the Tom Yum soup but my friend really liked it and finished it. I highly recommend checking this place out for lunch

It's chilly out and I really wanted ramen, but as it turns out, Ashburn doesn't have a ramen scene. Instead, I looked for noodle soups and was intrigued by the offerings here.

On a Tuesday evening, it was devoid of any diners indoors. You seat yourself when you enter. The server was very busy - there's a steady stream of pickup/delivery orders. Still, she was nice enough, and served us quickly. We ordered the tom yum noodle soup with vermicelli and the red curry noodle soup with thin rice noodles. Both were hot, flavorful (light on salt though), and had a decent amount of veggies and protein. The portion was quite large. We at half of each and took the rest home. Pricing is standard and what you'd find across Northern VA (as far as noodle soups, whether Taiwanese, Malaysian, Laotian, or otherwise). It's not the best I've ever had, but it hit my cravings and I was satisfied. We also ordered a tea - it comes as a teabag and mug of hot water vs brewed. All in all I'd come back.

First time ordering here. Got spring rolls and fried rice with shrimp. Spring rolls were very good but for the fried rice with the shrimp, the tails were still left on the shrimp. I’ve never had shrimp and fried rice with tails on. It was a pain to pull the shrimp out of the rice and pull the tails off. 😕
Also ordered using Uber eats probably will not do that again because of the cost.

The delivery person didn’t allow me to tip. I made a special request for the food to come spicy 🌶 and the noodles to be extra saucy and it arrived dry without spice or heat. This is not authentic Thai. Very much westernized. Do not purchase the family meal nor the wings. The wings were dry, fact the entire meal was dry, room temperature and lacked flavor.

Another little secret -- delicious food!

My family and I have been regulars as long as I can remember (pretty much since they opened 10 years ago) and for a good reason - all of the menu items that we have tried are consistently delicious. Though you can't go wrong with anything on their menu, definitely check out the side street menu. Their boat noodle soup is one of my favorite dishes from any restaurant, and their khao soi and khao man gai are excellent too! Some other personal favorites include BBQ pork and papaya salad.

One other thing - they really care about the community. Just after the lockdown had finished, I went to Thai Deelish to pick up an order, and I noticed a table labeled "meals for the homeless" stacked with neatly-packaged, nutritious meals ready to be delivered to people in need. Keep in mind this was also at a time when restaurants were suffering since no one was eating out anymore.

Anyways, great service, great ethos, great prices, and amazing food - definitely worth a visit!

Really big menu. Panang curry came out really good when you order it there. Takeout is not as usually good as dine in. Portions arr bot bad either.

Placed an online order for delivery at 5:12 on a Thursday. The prompt said the food would be delivered in 55 mins. Over an hour later the food hadn't arrived so I called. No answer, no answer and the auto-prompt leads to the call dropping. Called back, same thing. I left a message on their Facebook messenger. No reply.
Now an 1 hour and 30 mins after I placed my order still no food. I call back and get a real person, amazing! She says my order is out for delivery and she expects the food to arrive 'soon. 25 mins later (this is almost 2 hours after I placed the order) the delivery driver arrives. He says he was just given the food 15 mins before and basically came straight to my house. Either the driver or the lady on the phone was being dishonest. I'm not sure who. But waiting nearly 2 hours for a 55 mins delivery is absurd. No offer to comp a meal, no offer to discount on out next order, no attempt to make it right. The food was alright, but def not worth the wait.

Too busy to answer the phone. I had to go inside. Need more workers but I guess the space is too small. Food is excellent I will wait for good food!

Taste of food is good, But quality of food is very bad. Chicken is so hard to bite, it must me few days old. Rice is also bad. How hard it it make rice. only noodles is good.

This place is absolutely deelish! I lived in Thailand for 4 months and the food at this restaurant tastes totally authentic. You can’t go wrong with any of the curry dishes here, and their noodle dishes are very good too. My mother highly recommends the Ginger Ginger chicken. They have a relatively new online ordering system that makes takeout and delivery super easy. I usually do takeout and they’re always ready on time when I show up. Khob khun ka! 🙏🏼🇹🇭

I am so glad I found this gem, which a quick ride from my home. It's a tiny little nook nestled in a shopping strip in Broadlands. The food is light, fresh and very tasty. The service was impeccable as well. A small suggestion would be to tone down the sodium a little.

We love to go there because the food is good, but they should NOT offer delivery. I shouldn’t have to wait 1 hour and ten minutes when it said 20-45 mins when I ordered. Terrible

Best thai food around for sure

Their phone is always busy. If I call from my cell phone I get a message that the person we are trying to reach can’t be reached. So it seems like they are out of business or something. If I go to pick up food, I have to wait long time. Looks like they are understaffed. Also staff is not very nice either. For the last hour I have been calling. So I decided to go somewhere else.

Most awful experience times 2!! We were waiting for our girlfriend to arrive and no offering of drinks even though it was virtually empty and then the food came out late about 40 minutes. To top it off they took 25 minutes to bring the check out. Food was ok as well not the best.

Food was good; a couple of traditional standards were a little spicier than expected based on other places, And a have a photograph of bubble tea but it is not on the menu, and they only have one flavor of it. #tease

Great food and good service

The staff is very sweet and quick. The atmosphere is adorable and great for lunch, dinner or late night food. I’ve been here three times and crave it at least once a week! The spring rolls are crispy and delicious, they are accommodating if you want a different spice level (but understand it’s Thai food, it should be spicy). I get the Chicken Kaprow and it’s one of my favorite dishes. The Thai Lemonade is really good as well! Definitely a staple in my eating-out choices❤️

I feel like this establishment is a little bit hidden but it is inviting, especially when you walk in with the nice decor of the wood paneling around the restaurant. For this visit I ordered the generic pad Thai but they have a wide range of selections and they have told me that they are expanding into bubble tea soon. My meal was good and not too saucy or greasy like other Thai restaurants. With the appropriate portion size as well. I would recommend checking out this local Thai restaurant within the western Ashburn area.

We love the food from this restaurant but don’t ever order delivery. It’s been over an hour and supposedly the driver is on her way. We live two minutes from the restaurant but I’m not feeling well so I ordered. It’s now 8:50 pm and still no food ☹️😡. No offer to discount for my trouble. No refund. I’d like to just order from another restaurant now but I’ve already paid. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Not worth the trouble. Great food but terrible customer service sad to say.

What a disappointment! My girlfriend and I ordered delivery. My pad thai had way too much fish sauce in it and really overpowered the dish. I asked for extra bean sprouts so they put some raw bean sprouts in the container instead of stir frying with the dish. My girlfriend's drunken noodles were so spicy she couldn't eat them. I'm not sure how they have such great reviews.

It lives up to its name! My sister-in-law is Thai and she introduced us to this place, we love it and it's on the top of our list when we're in the area.

Great food, very bad customer service from the waitress and what appears to be the manager/owner. Advice to Thai Deelish, don't take your customers for granted.
