Chin-Chin Cafe was a clear winner amongst the Academies of Loudoun hosted BEAM summer camp participants! Therefore our son wanted the rest of the family to go and try it out! And he, and the rest of them, were right. Great choice! Easy parking just outside the restaurant. Very friendly staff and super fast service. Delicious and generous portions. The interior decor of the restaurant may not be everyone’s favorite but it’s alright. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the experience!

We got so much food here to sample and try! The food and sushi was great! The amount of food you get is crazy! I would say it's a great value.

This is the most awful food I’ve ever had. Top down the worst Asian/Chinese restaurant in the area. I am disappointed in myself for ordering take out and unfortunately spending $50 in this establishment. The general tso chicken was not crunchy, it was mushy and not very flavorful. The rice was mid and the chow mein was absolutely disgusting. 🤮 I do not recommend this place, the people rating this place 5 stars, the most authentic Chinese food they’ve probably ever had, were eggs rolls from the frozen section at Walmart. Disappointed this was my dinner on a Friday night….

I almost always just order Kung Pao chicken. Some days it's perfect and then some days it tastes like it was cooked with seafood. It's super weird to have chicken that tastes fishy. This isn't like a one off thing, its happened dozens of times at this point.

Best Kung Pao chicken in Northern Virginia. You can choose from 4 different spice levels which is awesome and the sauce is absolutely delicious! Have only ordered take-out but the inside space looks very nice and cozy. 10/10 recommend.

This was BY FAR the worst Chinese food I have had in a long time! Spring rolls had no taste and I let that go. But then the Shrimp with mixed vegetables tasted HORRIBLE as well and extremely saltless and fishy! Not the normal taste I am used to when I get shrimp with mixed vegetables. Shrimp with mixed vegetables is my normal dish at all Chinese restaurants that I go to - and this was NOT IT! My husband got General Tso and his entire container was swimming in watery sauce! Tried this place after a great experience with our Grubhub food order a few weeks ago and decided to come back and dine in to try their other food options. My favorite food is their wonton soup, but everything we have tried was warm, fresh and delicious! The staff were all extremely friendly and the food was brought out in just a few minutes. We have been going to Chin Chin for years. Our go to is their sushi. The sushi rolls are elegantly presented and include a diverse range of options, from traditional nigiri to more innovative rolls. Each roll is carefully prepared, reflecting the chef’s dedication to excellence. The Rainbow Roll, vibrant in color and topped with a selection of fresh fish, is particularly popular. The good thing about their sushi roll is that there's more fish than rice.

For those seeking a classic experience, the Sashimi is exceptional, with each slice of fish having a tender, melt-in-your-mouth quality.

This is my go to sushi place it’s by far the BEST sushi I have ever had! I even got my parents hooked and they drive all the way from haymarket for the food, that’s how good it is. This is my go to spot if I want American Chinese because of the price for the portion. Nowadays where are you going to find such portions for the price you paid. And the quality is on point. A lot of other American Chinese carry out places skimp on the food stuffs like meats. But they fill that whole containers with meat. We had a catered dinner work. The staff quickly responded, offered suggestions and substitutions and were very polite. Great communication. Over-the-top service. We work night shift so we eat at 11pm. They close at 10:30pm and that’s when their driver showed up with the food. Above and beyond. We work in Ashburn but I live an hour away and if I had this place where I lived they would be a go-to. Egg rolls are nice. Fried dumplings tasty. Chicken on a stick good. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp. I was craving more a few hours later. It’s a great place when you want to go back.

The people are great! And the food is usually good. But as they grow I feel the food is becoming less of what it was. My crispy beef, which is normally crispy fried beef with a dark soy flavor is now mostly carrots and celery. After being a customer for years we know what to expect. Many things changed to cheapen your meal. Less protein and more old vegetables. The center of the carrots were brown. The gentleman that is always present is amazing and helpful. But don’t change my meal to mostly vegetables when the dish should be mostly protein. $18 for old carrots and celery swimming in sauce. That’s not crispy beef.

I would say it's exactly how it was 8 yearso consistency is good. I had the eggplant with beef at I didn't spicy time version I think. Is that a call the first time I was the really favor heavy Sauce on these type of items. I personally I'm not big on the sauce and I'm not trying to ruin their business. But I could use a lot less sauce.
Oh this is for general observation and not directed at chin chin... There should be no fake soy sauce at any restaurant that claims any kind of association with Asia. Those little to go packets everyone carries are abominations

This was our fourth time ordering takeout from Chin Chin. First three times no complaints - but this time all three items were really horrible tasting - so had to provide feedback. Unfortunate that we always provide feedback when the food is bad. We ordered Tom Kha Soup, Drunken Noodles and a Green Curry. Tom Kha was super salty - we threw it away. Drunken noodles were very bland. And finally for the Green Curry - spices were not cooked enough - raw spice smells were coming through. All the ingredients were high quality - but whoever was cooking that lunch time, needs to learn the basics. I'll skip Chin Chin for now as I prefer consistency - good or bad. I know exactly what I am paying for. Can't have a bad day when I'm picking up comfort food for my sick kid.

Chicken pad Thai was 7 out of 10, could use a drier noodle and more spice but still yummy. Spring roll was perfect.

It was my first time experiencing this restaurant. Even though the setup and I was waited on in a timely manner for take out, I was not impressed with the food. I ordered the ground beef appetizer with the lettuce wraps, which was seasoned nice, and the portion was a lot for lunch. Also, I ordered wings, which were okay, and crab rangoons were to dry for my liking. The entrée I ordered was the general tso chicken with lo mein, which was very dry, and I was surprised it did not have any kind of vegetable in at all. The chicken did not taste or look like chicken to me, nor did it tastelike the meal i was expecting. I had to throw it out. The miso soup was good, as well as the egg rolls.

The way they package their to go dishes is not the best.
Their presentation at the dine in is much better than take out.
Their take outs looks like they were just dumped in the container.

I've been coming here for years since 2000. And the service has never changed always amazing.

We love this place. We’re never disappointed with the food or service. The food is delicious, the portions are good and the service is great. The fusion of traditional dishes but never losing the authenticity the dish.

Steer clear of this place. They do not provide what they advertise! I learned my lesson the hard way please learn from my mistakes!

Restaurant is clean and organized. The angry bird roll is very good. We had to wait a long time for it though. We were disappointed with the Chinese food. Feel embarrassed that people might think this is what Chinese cuisine is like. No, it should be much better.

This place became an instant staple with the family. We order here routinely especially when we have visitors. Prices match the portion size, in a good way! All of the main dishes we’ve tried so far have been great and the staff is super friendly. I called in after making a mobile order and they made it easy to make changes. Only things I can’t recommend so far are egg rolls and standard fried rice. Other than that we’ve loved it!

Always great. We keep coming back. The food is delicious & the serving size usually makes 2 meals (for me).

We got so much food here to sample and try! The food and sushi was great! The amount of food you get is crazy! I would say it's a great value.

1 person could spend $15 - $20 here and still be taking home leftovers.

Their sushi rolls were huge!!! Not necessarily a bad thing, you really only need one roll instead of two.

I noticed a lot of people dining in here would share their food. That was very cool to see as our party did the same.

By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Every dish has so much flavor and the prices are reasonable, especially for the large portions of the lunch specials.

Place is always busy. Cheap good Chinese food for a quick lunch break. Servings are huge. Sushi is passable.

Chin Chin cafe is my favorite one-stop Asian restaurant! It has Thai, Chinese and Japanese dishes. My recent favorite dish is the yaki soba with chicken, the noodle is delicious and the portion is very generous too. Try it out!!

Great place for a meal. The plate portions are gigantic. Entree and enough rice to feed a family. You order and pay by the entrance. Go to your table, they bring you your food. There is a station for silverware, napkins, and water. Will definitely be back.

The California roll, fried shrimp roll, and soft, not-so-spicy drunken noodles captivated our taste buds. It was nice to have a variety of Asian foods on the menu, so it was easy to choose from, as each menu had pictures.

I order dinner from here quite often. Everything I’ve had is quite flavorful. They have this Asian style donuts for dessert that should not be missed. They’re sweet, but not too sweet.

The food at Chin-Chin Cafe is delicious. We tried the sweet and sour chicken, and it was just the right combination of sweet and tangy. The portion size was generous, and the chicken was crispy and tasty.

We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable the prices were. You get good food without spending too much money. If you're looking for a tasty meal with a variety of options, friendly staff, a clean and cozy environment, and reasonable prices, Chin-Chin Cafe is a good choice.

Coming from Maryland has definitely spoiled me in terms of good Chinese food. Considering the area we’re in, I can see why the food is more on the blander side to take into account the customer base. But that doesn’t give an excuse for the chicken to be hard and dry. I ordered the general Tso chicken, and I couldn’t figure out how something in sauce could be so dry. Doesn’t include any vegetables either. I’m sure their other food is just fine, but I’d stay clear from anything chicken based unless dry is your preference

The food is pretty good. I love thier sushi. They do a pretty good job with the packaging and quality. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered dragon roll and asked if there is any shrimp or shellfish in there. Was told no. We got home, and rolls are filled with crab. Had to throw the food due to allergy.

Just average to sub par...but my kids like it.

The general tso chicken is the best. I order from them like once a week and the chicken peices are big and not just bread its real chicken. The sushi is also amazing. Biggest sushi peices for your money. I've also had most of their specialty rolls which are great.

We discovered ChinChin back in 2006, and since then, it has been our family's favorite spot for asian cuisine. The restaurant has evolved and grown so much since then. The variety in their menu is great, and the sushi is prepared by experts with the best quality ingredients, which is something to look forward to. If you really want to experience top-quality Asian cuisine the ChinChin is the place for you.

Used to love the flavorful food from chinchin cafe however its no longer seems to be the case

NEVER EAT HERE. The food was terrible, dirty plates and had half a rice bag of rice coupled with some barely palatable entree drowned in sickly sweet sauce. Would give 0 stars if possible. Not to mention its obscenely overpriced.

The food here is always fresh and delicious. I like their sushi, but especially the shrimp tempura sushi roll and spicy tuna sushi.

I'll come here again. I really liked the hot and sour soup. Kung Pao chicken was OK. There were a couple of tastes of a spice I didn’t recognize, and I'm not sure I like.

Hi, we just had a late Lunch/Dinner at 4pm charged by dinner prices. We ordered Vegetables drunken noodle with tofu, veggies sushi appetizer, Chicken black pepper and corn chowder soup. Portion was great but no taste at all. Chicken black pepper supposed to be a little spicy dish not with full of soya and glazy sauce, and vegetable drunken noodles was the same no taste at all. We are a regular customer from chin chin café. We usually take carry out but this time ate in the restaurant. And service was not good either. What I think you may have changed the chef. I will give you 1 more try in future. And I hope will not be disappointed.

The service and food have gone downhill quite a bit. They have started drowning their food in sauces that almost always leak out when being delivered, they don't fill rice containers all the way up, and the taste isn't as good as it used to be.

Delivery drivers, who have Chin-Chin signs on their cars, have become increasingly rude. The last one was disrespectful to my wife on the phone.

I have been eating here for over a decade. And have really noticed a decline in the last 6 months. I have started trying other Chinese restaurants in the area to be done with Chin-Chin, especially after dealing with the last delivery driver.

You tipped But You wont get any service. Even you need to put your plate to the trash track… really? We paid like 100 dollars with 20% tips but need to pickup the plates??!!!!!!! And In ashburn?? Won’t go again!

Been to well over 100 sushi places in my life and this without a doubt ranks in the top 3. Not only was their sushi amazing, but their chinese food was excellent as well.

Food is always hot and delicious 😋. My favorite in the area.
