Our menu features classic dishes like pad thai and curry, as well as more unique offerings like drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice. We also have a full bar with a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine. Come enjoy our delicious food and friendly service!
Living in D.C., we're big fans of the Tiki Garden Thai Street Food on H Street NE. It was a pleasant surprise to see another location in Alexandria. If you love Thai food, go here! The inside space is no-frills, but it's spacious and service is always friendly and efficient.
The menu has all the usual Thai suspects and everything is delicious. If you like spice, order the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with chicken. With no spice, my seven-year-old daughter loved the Thai Fried Rice with chicken. Portions are large!
For dessert, the mango and sticky rice is worth getting. The rice is black, but tastes like the dessert you're used to.
To drink, I enjoyed the Thai iced tea and my daughter enjoyed the lemonade. It strikes the right balance of sour and sweet.
Our entire bill came to just under $50 for the two of us.
Went here on a Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. Service was fast and efficient. I ordered crispy pork strips to start and they came out fast and hot. Flavor was amazing and the dipping sauce added a lot. For a main meal I got drunken noodles with pork. It was spicy without asking for any extra spice which was nice. Great portions for the price. It is still in a soft opening so it is being worked on and the bar is not set yet. No alcohol yet but it is coming. I am sure once the grand opening happens it will be a solid 5!!
This is a new Asian restaurant. The owner is very attentive to the dishes and the waiters are also very patient in meeting the needs of customers. My husband likes their chicken Drunken noodles make extra spicy. I like their soup delicious. I will come again and bring my family.
Came in a few days ago with my girlfriend and we ordered the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice.
All I’ll say about the taste is that later that night we were still talking about how good the food was. Really affordable too. Each plate (the pad thai & pineapple fried rice) was only $14, we’ve had similar quality at other thai places but for around $20. The prices here are great.
Also they had great service too, our server, Abel (Hopefully I got it right) was very kind and caring and the manager Vanessa came in to check on us. You can tell they definitely care.
I love this place so much I almost want to gate keep it but it’s too good. Top tier Thai food, great service and hospitable owner. The Tom yum noodle bowl is simply the best and unique, every noodle dish is delicious, not greasy, and perfectly seasoned unlike the lot of Thai places nearby that just douse everything in sugar and oil. Every appetizer we’ve had is delicious from the brussel sprouts to the crab rangoon to the wings etc. the curries are also amazing. The best Thai in the area hands down. And they’re so accommodating for food allergies/sensitivities. We had a large party one time with various food sensitivities and they catered to us so well. The ambiance has had a facelift since its pho days (prior restaurant) and is clean and cozy. AND the value you get is ridiculous. And they just opened!
Had a great experience here! Best crab rangoon I’ve had in a long time. There was a great filling to wrapper ratio. The servers were very kind and accommodating. They were able to answer questions about the menu and suggest items based on likes/dislikes. Will definitely be retuning.
It was my first time ordering from here & the service & food were great! I got the crab rangoons & the crab fried rice, both of which were amazing. The crab rangoons actually had a decent amount of filling instead of being mostly wrapper, like so many other places nowadays!
I do need to comment on the customer service I observed after walking out. It looks like some firefighters were ordering as I was walking out & I’m not sure if they got a call but they were walking out empty handed after I thought I heard them ordering. Once I get in my car, I see the server sprinting with a bag of food towards the firetruck. Not sure what the situation was but it was freezing and the guy was sprinting outside in a t shirt to ensure the firefighters got their food. Will definitely be coming back!
The Penang chicken and Tom Yum soup was great. Ask for mild spice because their regular spice can be spicy. We were a large party that requested separate checks and they accommodated us,
but it was slow. The food was worth it.
I only give out reviews when a place REALLY strikes me. This is the pinnacle of that. I had the crab rangoon, crispy basil chicken, and a thai tea while my date had the massaman curry. I always get crab rangoon wherever I go, as it is a favorite food of mine. But this place…. May very well be the absolute best crab rangoon ive ever had.
Perfect crispiness on the outside, perfect flavor, amount of filling, crab:cheese ratio, everything.
The beef in the massaman was falling apart, and the flavors soaked into everything so well.
Thai teas had the ideal level of sweetness.
Crispy basil chicken was just… amazing.
Im not a critic, so I cant talk about anything too fancy nor do I have the vocab for it. But holy mother of man, the food here absolutely INCREDIBLE. 10/10 I cannot recommend it enough.
Additionally, the pricing was better than fair, and the service was effective, friendly, and had excellent timing.
Ordered this food via phone for pickup. The food is good but there are no prices on their website and no spice level indications. I eat spicy food regularly and the drunken noodles were some of the spiciest drunken noodles I’ve eaten. There needs to be an indication somewhere to allow people to modify spice level or at least let them know what they’re getting into. Really enjoyed the food tho especially the crab Rangoon.
Got delivery and it’s so good, wow. We are blown away!
We had the pad see ew and green curry - fantastic! Best in the area actually. Nice work!
Amazing food, great service, fast for a great price. We keep coming back and has been great every time!

Food was good, service was good. We went for lunch and it was pretty quiet. But not bad!
We had lunch here on a Friday afternoon and the food was incredible and service was great. We will definitely be back!
I visited today …. We were a party of 9.
The food and service were excellent!
By far the best Thai restaurant I’ve experienced in Alexandria and beyond.
I highly recommend it!
GO. FOR. LUNCH. Their lunch special is early 2000s price and full-sized portions. Paid $11 for the best Tom Kha soup I've ever had, Thai Gyoza, and a generous (dinner-sized) serving of Panang Curry Tofu.
I was excited to try a new thai place. The spring rolls and chicken wings had an overpowering old fish oil smell. The other dishes were good, but the old fish oil really ruined the dinner. My brother and father tried the wings and rolls and felt ill after trying them.
The food is excellent - really nice flavors and well-cooked proteins and vegetables. Service is attentive. Good bargain lunch options. Great addition to Foxchase!
So excited to have a Thai restaurant near our neighborhood! Everything was excellent, service was attentive and super friendly. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us for takeout and dining in! Excited for their full opening
This is a new Thai place that has opened in the Foxchase Shopping Center. It's still in a soft open, which means the bar isn't set up yet.
So far we've only been here for lunch. The lunch special is great! Great price and great food! We honestly were blown away and have already been back multiple times. We're very excited to have a new go-to lunch spot close by!
Once the bar opens up, we'll be excited to try the Tiki drinks and other bar offerings. It seems this place will be a great lunch spot during the day and a wonderful night out as well. I'll have to update the review once it's fully operational, but five stars for lunch alone!

My son and I absolutely adore exploring different neighborhoods and discovering hidden food gems based on whatever delicious cravings we're having! During one particularly chilly day, we had our hearts set on finding the perfect bowl of pho soup. After a couple of fun but unsuccessful tries, we were so lucky to stumble upon the wonderful Tiki Garden Thai Street Food in Alexandria. We were greeted by Charlie, our super friendly waiter, who was so enthusiastic about the menu that when we asked which lunch special he preferred, he couldn't pick just one - they were both that good! Right then, I knew we'd found something special. Oh my goodness, the food was simply magical! The heavenly aromas, the incredible flavors - every single bite was a joy. I just have to give a big heartfelt thank you to the amazing chef who created our delightful meal on 11/03/2024. Simply fantastic! ✨ I hear there's another location on H St. NE - I really hope it's just as delicious!
BTW the next day leftovers are even better. WOW!

Very tasty food, good portions. My new favorite Thai restaurant.
Went for lunch, the value for the amount of food was great and everything was delicious.
I had the duck curry and it was delicious.
Average quality and not worth the price. Service was a bit lacking. Would gladly pay these prices if the quality was there, but sadly was not. Might have caught them on an off day, but not worth returning when there are many other good or great options in the area.
We loved our dinner at this new Thai restaurant. We stumbled upon it and are so glad we did. We had the drunken noodles and kapao curry and both were delicious. Service was wonderful and our meals came out quickly. We will be back!
Good and atmosphere was amazing!!!!! Place was cozy food was bomb!!!! Just wow!!!
Best Thai food I’ve had in the DMV! We had the Pad Thai, Duck Curry and Drunk Noodles accompanies by plenty fo starters.
Had a great experience here! Best crab rangoon I’ve had in a long time. There was a great filling to wrapper ratio. The servers were very kind and accommodating. They were able to answer questions about the menu and suggest items based on likes/dislikes. Will definitely be retuning.
The food is very good, well seasoned, and fresh. Delivery or pick up are both fast. So glad they opened up!
Thought we’d try a new pho place for dinner and ended up being tempted by all of the other items on the menu (they still have pho, spring, and summer rolls…the summer rolls/goi cuon were tasty!). As soon as I saw Khao Soi, I had to order it. It did not disappoint and the staff even brought out more spice for me in case I wanted it spicier. It was delicious as-is. I look forward to more visits. All of the staff were very polite and attentive, and the ambience of the restaurant was nice — I couldn’t believe more people haven’t discovered it yet!
The service was amazing!! And the food was fresh and tasty. Drunken noodles was my favorite. I will be back soon too!!
Had an amazing time! Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. Would recommend if you love Thai food!
The service and food here was impeccable! Everything tasted fresh, the service was kind and accommodating. Will be coming back here for the regular!

Love Tiki Garden Thai restaurant, I visited before in D.C. location and I fell in love there, and also in their Alexandria, VA location.
Bigger space, Same delicious food.
I had Crab Ragoons, and Vietnamese Spring Rolls as appetizers, Panang Curry, a master piece, as Entree, fully recommended.
And the delicious Mango Sticky Rice! Love it.
So guys, if you like Thai food I totally recommend to visiting this business. Either location is a Blast!
so delicious
