The food at Dee Garden is GOD TIER. If you like tofu as your protein and you’re sick of being served flavorless tofu or huge chunks with no texture - look no further. They blow everyone out of the water with flavor and preparation. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but they asked if I wanted egg in the fried rice when I ordered tofu. Huge if you’re vegan, as they clearly take that into account. I just love the owner, she’s so sweet, and their food is amazing. If you like Thai food as much as I do, you will be obsessed with this place.

Great food- lots of flavor , perfectly cooked vegetables and tofu, the curry was a great consistency. The fresh spring rolls were great! (I’ve had lots gooey ones and these were nothing like that- I ate them so fast almost didn’t get a photo of it! ) the peanut sauce that came with it paired well . I could definitely pour their peanut sauce over white rice, and know that it would be delicious.

We got the Massaman , fresh spring rolls and Thai fried bananas .

The lady that helped us was super nice and gave us a great recommendation as vegetarians. She kept an eye on us and checked on us to make sure everything was good after dish dropped.

Very tasty Thai food. The lunch special at 11.99 is great deal and includes ample food for lunch as well as the appetizer of your choice and either super salad, both of which were quite tasty as well. Big roll was fresh and both main dishes were well prepared. Friendly helpful staff and when we were there the place was jammed full of people eating all kinds of food and everybody seemed pretty happy with the food they had.

We got the standard pad Thai and drunken noodles and both were so good! Big flavor and very tasty. Our server was so nice and attentive. The food came REALLY fast. I enjoyed the noodles so much I ate everything on my plate and now I’m regretting it. I should have taken some home so I could enjoy it again tomorrow! We’ll be back soon!

The food was sub-par. Tom yum soup with seafood I was excited to try. Nothing was fresh. I could taste freezer burn on shrimp and chewy mussles. Broth was ok. Dissaponted.

Used to go to this place a few years ago because it was close to an old job and I LOVE their Pad Thai and curries. Truly the best Thai place I’ve had in Utah- nothing else compares. Anyway my fiancé and I were by this place today running errands and I told him he needed to try it! Unfortunately they were closed for an hour and a half when we came. I was so disappointed because we are NEVER in that area anymore and I really wanted the pad Thai I haven’t had in years! Anywho this sweet, beautiful lady working said we could order takeout- even though they were closed and definitely did not need to do that! The food is delicious and full of flavor and has large portions, the service is quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is quiet. We especially enjoyed the unique waterfall beef, but the curries are also very good.
The only thing that I would say is slightly difficult is that the menu doesn't tell you if something is dairy free/vegan. But you can easily ask, and the food is worth it!

Always get the panang curry. The sauce is rich and flavorful and they will adjust the spice level. Service is always fast and friendly.

We've been to many Thai restaurants to find the best, and this is our favorite. Highly recommend the Tom Ka soup, which we like with shrimp. Tom Ka soup is really good at any Thai restaurant, but it is particularly good here--lots of flavor. Also highly recommend the Thai Barbecue made with beef. The chili sauce that comes with the bbq is out of this world. Also really like the Larb. Finish up dinner with some mango sticky rice, and it's basically the perfect meal.

Great food and kind service. Food flavor was great, and quantities were large. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the vegetarian options are limited (no noodle dishes and limited rice dishes from the conversations I had). Would stop by again if in the area.

I really like this place. The people that run are super nice! They made me Glass Noodle soup it wasn't on the menu but, it was really good! There pad thai with chicken was great the way it's supposed to be done.

We received amazing service here and the food was the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I’ll be coming here again even tho I live about 40 mins away. It’s worth the drive a million times over. I had the mango curry and got sticky rice and mango for dessert, and I felt like that rat in ratatouille when he eats the strawberry and cheese at the same time. There were fireworks and stars exploding behind my eyes and my brain got a serotonin high that lasted for a WEEK. I have never been more satisfied and have never left a bigger tip! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food and good people :)

Love Dees Garden. We’ve tried other Thai places in the area and this one quickly became our favorite.
We’ve never been disappointed. We’d recommend the curry’s to anyone, and the drunken noodles are amazing! Give it a try, it won’t disappoint.

Very tasty food! The dishes are pretty big so I would recommend sharing a dish and getting a small appetizer on the side! We got curry and potstickers as take out and it carried home really well.

Food was horrible. Chicken was battered in corn meal and the bbq chicken was literally just the store packaged bought already grilled chicken. Only thing edible was their regular rice. If you are younger than 60 this is not the spot. Customer service was fantastic. But I will never recommend or come back. Also, the entire family was in the kitchen. 6 month old baby included. Just weird and not sanitary or safe

I’ve been to quite a few different Thai restaurants in and out of Utah and I’m not 100% sure yet, because I need to try more things, but I think this is the best Thai food I’ve ever had! They have a great lunch special($12) that has quite a few different entrée choices, comes with a soup or salad, and a choice of a small appetizer. So far I’ve had Khao Soi, pineapple, fried rice, Massaman curry, ,cashew chicken, Tom Kha, and Tom Yum. All delicious.

Absolutely delicious! The curry was just the right consistency and so much flavor. Everything tasted so fresh and you can tell they didn't cut corners with the ingredients. They nailed Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry was sooo good. The staff is from a unique part of Thailand too and you know they're very proud of their food. Oh yeah, I couldn't forget the mango sticky rice. The mango was sweet and fresh, the rice was just the right amount of sweetness as well. The service was also very good, they were observant of our needs. Got lots of napkins for my toddler and checked on us often. My family has tried a lot of Thai restaurants around Utah and this has to be at the top!
P.S. You can just ask for more rice without charge, to address one of the concerns another reviewer wrote. Just need to ask!

First time coming here with my girlfriend and it was AMAZING!! Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was great to very friendly thank you!

We love Thai food and have eaten at many Thai restaurants around Utah and other states for over 40 years, and I had the opportunity to live in Thailand for a few years when i was younger. We wanted to try a new place to us and decided to try Dee Garden. It was smaller than we expected, but there were enough tables for the customers there. We ordered two different curries- Musaman and Penang, putt Thai, putt see ew, egg rolls, and fried rice. All the dishes were delicious, and we always appreciate it when a restaurant brings out a big container of white rice for the curries.
Super friendly wait staff and quick service even though it was busy.
If you want some great Thai food, this is the place for you.

By far my favorite Thai place. I drive from Lehi because I haven’t been able to find anywhere as good in Utah county. The customer service is amazing and the food is even better. The massaman curry, Tom Kha soup, and the Pad Thai are our favorites. Mango Sticky rice is always good too.

Came here for a late lunch on a Friday. It was somewhat busy. We took advantage of their lunch specials. Our server was friendly and I enjoyed the service. The restaurant was relatively clean. Everything was just okay. The food was edible, but definitely not a place I'd go back to for Thai food. It's definitely made for an unseasoned Thai food palate.

We ordered two soups, egg roll appetizers, a fresh spring roll, green curry with medium spice, and orange chicken. Every place makes their egg rolls differently. I wasn't a fan of the egg rolls at this place. It had an off flavor. Maybe the oil they used. The soups and the green curry was too sweet. The curry wasn't spicy at all. The orange chicken was the best dish in my opinion. It tasted as I expected it to.

On their menu, they also had the wrong price down for the lunch special. The menu said $10.99, but their website and what they charged me was for $11.99. Not a big deal, but they should get those menus reprinted with accurate prices.

Again, it was palatable, the service was good, but not a place I'd go to again when I'm craving Thai food.

Given the 4.8 average of Google reviews, we were a bit disappointed. We loved the coconut soup with seafood, but otherwise, not impressed. The Cashew Chicken was sweet for our taste, and not very flavorful. The potstickers came with sweet and sour sauce, instead of the typical soy sauce-based sauce. Although we didn't try the curries, the descriptions mostly said that they were sweet too. Service was very pleasant and quick, portions were medium, and prices seemed about average.

I get pad Thai here to go and it's one of the best. And the servers are always nice.

First time trying this place. It was fantastic.

I came here to meet with a business partner over some grub. And it was some dang good grub.

I ordered Panang Curry, and it was great. Large serving. Lots of flavor. Good texture. All of the things I wanted.

My only knock is that I could have used more rice. But that’s not that big of a deal. Wouldn’t stop me from coming back next time in the area.

Also, the service was great. Super friendly and happy. Made us feel like we mattered, and kept an eye on our drinks to keep them full.

We loved this place so much we had to come back. This time we shared the pumpkin curry and my only regret is not taking a photo. I loved it even more. I can't sing this place higher praises. The food was incredibly flavorful, the service was quick and very friendly and the prices are insanely good for the amount and quality of food.

My partner and I shared the yellow curry, wontons, and spring rolls and we demolished all of it.

I love Dee Garden best Thai food I've had in Salt Lake County so far. Their lunch special is cheap and you get a ton of food. For $7.99 you get a choice of Massaman or Red Curry, Cashew Chicken, or Orange Chicken, it's a large portion and they also have soup and a side that comes with it.

The Massaman is super hearty and tastes amazing and the coconut soup they provide us awesome. Been here three times and I normally get something different at restaurants but would rather keep getting the Massaman.

The staff are super nice and they remembered me the second time I came in although it had been about 2 months between visits. of course they provide a safe space for social distancing and require masks for entry.

*Update* still the best. I keep bringing more co-workers and friends here and many have made it their go-to Thai place. They have loyalty cards as well, after 10 meals you get money off an order

This really is the best Thai restaurant

I just spent $84 dollars to have one of the $14 entrees in a small Styrofoam container as big as my hand. This is maybe $40 dollars worth. The orange chicken is little Fried bite sizes of chicken pieces that would make a mcdonald's ten nugget meal look huge. Way too expensive for what you get.

The atmosphere was nothing special, but it was clean and calm. The food was so delicious, I wanted to try everything on the menu! We ordered WAY to much, but couldn't stop eating. I especially liked the beef pho. And the service was wonderful. We never had to ask for refills on drinks, and our server was very kind and had a lovely attitude. I will be going back again soon!

Our family has dined here weekly for years and previously loved it. They had the sweetest waitress. I don’t know if it is now under new management but their current customer service is among the worst I have ever experienced. For example, We had a mix up in our take out and when we tried to work out the confusion we were told to accept what we got or take our services to another restaurant. We had already paid and were charged $13 for two scoops of plain white rice. I am sad that this will no longer be a restaurant we frequent.

Update: They reached out and corrected the mistake, after I posted this review. I updated my review based on past experiences. The food here really is delicious and I believe everyone is entitled to a bad day.

Good food and service. Quiet atmosphere.

Ordered the bbq beef (which is my favorite dish at another Thai restaurant). The beef was very tough and overcooked. The waiter did not check on the food quality. Disappointed in the food and the service.

Best mango sticky rice!

This place is AMAZING! I got takeout lunch there today, cream cheese wontons and yellow curry. Young gal working was very kind and the food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best curry I've had in this state. Highly recommend.

Best Thai on the west side!

Best Yellow Curry... Cream Cheese wontons.. Make sure to try the Mango Sticky Rice. Tom kha soup is so good as well. They also have Lunch specials til 2:30. $10.99 for one entree item, soup or salad, and one side.

Such yummy food and great people that helped us. Even got great pictures taken by an employee. Thanks for making our night so good.

Everything we tried was delicious. My favorites were the Tom Kha, Larb, and iced lime thai tea.

It won't let me do 3.5 stars. The food was great but customer service went downhill as soon as the clock stroked 9pm. Our server slapped the check on the table and brought go to boxes and the bag too. She didn't care to ask if we need anything or should I get you a to go box? She whispered we close at 9, so..... and left. We were forced to leave or pushed out.

Food is overly salty, left with a headache. I asked the server if they use MSG in their cooking and she said no but I threw up a couple minutes later which normally happens when I eat MSG. Disappointed.

ordered online for pick up. Very good food, there was a bit of food. Only complaint (Not really a complaint) ordered level 2 spicy, seemed a bit spicy still good though. Would go to again.

Wow is all I can say. We came here for lunch, ordered right when they opened at 11am. Placed 13 orders on their lunch special, and they told us to pick it up at noon. Not only was it ready right on time, but everything was correct. We order lunch every Monday and 95% of the time something is wrong with our order from restaurants with much simpler menus. Not only was everything right, but EVERYTHING was delicious. Every single person loved what they ordered, and it was very decently priced. We will definitely be repeat customers.

It's our local go to the waterfall beef is amazing. As all the Currys, well everything is great easier then listing them all. Service is friendly and great. A must try because you will go back believe me

This was incredible. The atmosphere was really nice and the hostess kept on calling us "dear" which was very sweet. The food was amazing as well. Very healthy and tasted really good! Will be coming here again

This place is AMAZING!
The employees were super kind and friendly. The decor is nice and not eyeball-scorching. And best of all: the food is some of the best food i've ever tasted. They have AMAZING pad thai, and some pretty good mango sticky rice.
Overall, if you're looking for a nice place to eat thai food, this is the place.

My spouse and I order food from here almost once a week. I pass it on the way home so it's perfect. We love Thai food and this is our favorite place to get it. We've only done take out, but the staff recognize me to a degree. I only expect that recognition to grow.

Our favorite Thai restaurant. The food is superior and less expensive than other Thai restaurants. Despite its small size, this is our go-to place for gatherings of family and friends. (No more than about a dozen at a time unfortunately.) We always get Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai, but try new dishes each time. This last time we ordered the Drunken Noodle (Pad Kee Mao). Very good! We usually have Massaman Curry, but tried the Panang Curry this last visit. Both are delicious.

Beyond satisfied

Best ever Thai restaurant in the whole of Utah. The taste of the food is authentically Thai. The way they're cooked, the ingredients, etc are pretty much the same as the ones I have tried in Thailand and other parts of south East Asia. Kudos to the cooks and the server for their excellent food, service and quality!

I love this place so much! I’ve been coming here for two years and it’s the best Thai restaurant in Utah. 10/10 would recommend.

Great people and incredible Thai Food!

Amazing food

This is my second time here. I had the Pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious. Ingredients are fresh and high quality. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming. The staff is so sweet! I walked in to order for take out and waited 2 minutes. It turns out they had the same dish ready that would be picked up later and they had time to make a new one, so they gave it to me so I wouldn’t have to wait. That little act of kindness made my night after having such a long week. I Can’t wait to try more of their dishes, it’s my new favorite place !

I'm really picky with my Thai food since my mom is from Thailand and I grew up visiting family there often, and I definitely recommend this place! The pad see ew was excellent! It's hard to find something like that around here. Highly recommend!

We actually were going to go to the neighboring restaurant "you and I" but it didn't have enough seating for our family of six. So we took a chance on Thai kitchen, we were blown away by the food. Our kids got the orange chicken and beef pho, which both were the best we've ever had. Adults got the waterfall chicken with a kick of spice and sticky rice. It was excellent. the fresh spring rolls and sauce we also the best we ever had. Try the fried banana it was yummy. The waitress so so sweet and patient with recommendations and patience.will come back next time we are in the mood for pho and spring rolls it will be our new go to.

We went here with some friends for the first time…came all the way from Saratoga springs and it was well worth it!!! The server was so fun and the food we dreamed about a night! We had spring rolls, mannasa curry, yellow curry and pad thai. Everything was way better than expected and so delicious! Great price, great food, & great price!!

We really loved our trip to Dee Garden, they were fantastic! My wife and I went to Thailand earlier this year and the food really brought us back. Our waitresses were both super friendly and attentive. I was also impressed that if the kitchen had any questions about the order, they would double check with the customer to make sure you got what you wanted. Overall great experience, we’ll definitely be back!

First time here order a "To Go" Yellow Curry Chicken and Potstickers. Yellow Curry was good a little spice and a little sweet. Just disappointed hardly any chicken in my Curry but tons of potatoes. :-) Potstickers was ok. Will try this place again, this time will eat at the restaurant instead to go order. I'll update my review if any changes.
