Relaxed mainstay in a strip mall preparing traditional Thai entrees, plus lunch specials & desserts.
The food was great and it didn’t take very long for them to bring it out. I was also very impressed with the waitress because she brought out some peppers so that we could make the food a little bit more spicy if we wanted. Word of warning, the spice goes along way!
The portion sizes were great and even gave us enough to take food home to make a fairly good-sized lunch the next day. They were also nice enough to send us with extra rice for the curry.
I will definitely return to this place.
This is a hidden gem in a remote location. It is near a busy intersection, but is hard to see from the road. But definitely worth a visit. The price is very reasonable with most dishes under $10, and the taste is phenomenal. It has a very open feel to the dining room, and has some very unique seats on the right side that make for a fun dining experience, where you can sit next to friends without moving chairs around. Wonderful place.
This place looks to be permanently closed. There was a fire in the same building as it resides and closed since then. It and a 'Reopening Soon' sign up for over a year, and then recently took it down. I'm sad it's gone, but our new favorite is Spicy Thai in Provo, down Univerity Ave. from the mouth of the canyon.
Bangkok Grill is what I love about Utah; first generation Americans trying to offer their authentic cuisine. Well, in this case it closed for awhile but the son reopened.
My niece who lived in Thailand loves the Waterfall beef and pineapple fried rice. So do we now (asked the Mrs to take a photo of them but she just handed my phone back.)
My end of the table enjoyed the Pad Himmapap (stir fry) and yellow pumpkin curry. All excellent.
Good solid home style Thai food. Not the top Thai (you know the places in Las Vegas, Queens & LA) but delicious.
My first time there and Elizabeth was very helpful in showing me there selections and what was popular and she checked to see if I enjoyed the food! I enjoyed the chicken satay and Tom Ga Kai soup. Unique flavor, not salty. Dining room had a very nice atmosphere to it. I enjoyed sitting on the cushions. I am a big man but there was plenty of room.
I am definitely going back again!
2nd time - Dinner
Elizabeth was perfect as our host!
And the dinner was Fabolously flavorful!
Chop stick friendly, colorful main course dishes!
High quality cuts of meat and vegetables!
I cannot give it enough praise! My new favorite place to eat!
3rd visit - Lunch
This time Narisa served us wonderful tasty dishes. We had the Thai Fried Rice and Pineapple Fried Rice.
The food is always the finest quality of meats and vegetables. Quickly served and hot with a variety of range hot spices.
Truly my favorite Thai restaurant!

Still Super
This place is always spot on. Simply amazing food. All the curries are fantastic. My husband loves the MooTodd for it is crispy on the outside with sauce over top. The Coconut Soup is some of the best in the valley. I think it is the best Thai food in Utah Valley. Also the service is amazing, fast friendly, great at anticipating your needs.
I had the pad Thai chicken. For the price, this place is excellent. You can't really go wrong with this establishment.
The service was great and not really busy.
Just for reference, I'm NOT a foodie. But I am a fat guy with an appetite, and this was right off the interstate.
First time eating at Bangkok Grill and oh my goodness, I've been missing out. Hands down best Thai restaurant in Utah! We ordered the chicken satay which came with peanut sauce and the fresh rolls with chicken. Both were delicious. We then ordered the Tom Ka Gai soup which was out of this world. Honestly it was so good!! For the main dishes we ordered the yellow pumpkin curry, Panang curry and then a chicken dish. The curry's were outstanding. The flavors are bright and just pop! For dessert we ordered the mango sticky rice which was so good. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The food is fresh and taste is very well!!!!

The Massaman is ok, but the rest of the food is not good. We had Pad Thai that was flavorless, had little else but noodles and crunchy onion and the noodles stuck together. It was gross we couldn’t even eat it.
Edit: this review was actually for the Springville location. But I went again tonight and it was excellent. Great food and great service.
Old review: The food was excellent and came quickly once I ordered. I would give five stars except that the service was very poor. The restaurant was nearly empty when I came in. The young man who was running the front seated me and appeared to promptly become unaware of my presence. I tried to give him a chance but finally (after at least 10 minutes) stood up, found him and asked to place my order. Number one they need more staff (it was busier when I left). Number two he was not busy when I came in and basically ignored me. I hope they get their act together in terms of service so they can stay in business.
Best Thai food in Utah. I moved, and I miss Bangkok Grill.
Me and my family really miss you guys!! We drive past the restaurant and my daughter continually asks if your open 🥺 we love you!
I’ve been eating at this place for years and it’s my favorite Thai place to eat, really one of the very few I like. I love this place
This is my favorite place in Utah County. They have have an amazing selection of soups, appetizer, and entrees. I always recommend coming here when friends want to eat out.
Hope everyone and everything turns out okay after the fire! So sorry to hear.
Great Lunch options.
Lived in Thailand for 3 years. One of the most Americanized Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to.
Great cury.
Food was really good. Staff was awesome. We went for lunch the Service was fast friendly and accurate everything was right with our lunch and everything tasted great.
Very good food. Incredible iced green tea. 🖤
Such a solid Thi option! So many good things on the menu. Also literally the greatest wait staff to walk the face of the earth!
Nice place for good thai food!
Only go here if you want the best curry.
9/22 came in at 7:45 pm Monday and no one else was there to eat. Waitress brought our water after another table seated after us, and she came back to take our order and still didn’t bring the water. We got our food quickly though even though another table who walked in after us ordered before us and got their first. That’s what we get for taking too long to decide what to order. Ordered Pad King with extra veggies no meat which has ginger in it and it was delicious, and Pad Kee Mao wide noodles with extra veggies no meat and asked for mild as possible so they left out the chili oil completely and brought me chili flakes. It still had pretty good but mild flavor with the Thai basil in it. Next time get it normal and let the kids eat extra rice with the other dish.
Come here every so often. Love their chicken maseman curry. I got the pad Thai and it wasn't the best thing I have had. Probably a fluke but otherwise amazing place to eat
I love Thier curry
Great good. Not crowded. Server cool!
Good gluten free options
I've gotten carry-out here twice and both experiences we're awesome. The food has been fresh even with a car ride back to work. The lunch special is a seriously good deal considering its easy to spend 15$+ at fast food restaurants now days. My favorite part of the lunch special has to be the spring rolls with the legendary Sweet Chili Sauce. Seriously the best Spring Roll sauce I've ever had. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food!
I love this place. my wife and I have been going for years

Very fast and good value for money.
Lunch specials, which include a main dish, appetizer and soup, all in lunch sized portion for $10 was great! Food was pretty tasty and service was good.
Not the greatest Thai food in Orem for sure and to top it off, our bill was almost $20 more than it should have been according to their website. We asked for a receipt and was only given the credit card receipt. When I doubled checked online and it didn’t add up, I called them. They happened to raise their prices today, and didn’t update the website. I felt ripped off. It was $96!
The food was very delicious.
Great food, great service!
Their food is tasty and I love their chilli oil!
Food was tasteless.
Their food is good. I’ve been a customer for a long time (15 years or more) and I’ve always enjoyed their lunch special. But after watching them decrease the size of it steadily over the years and now increase the price of it by $2.00 this year I just won’t be eating there much anymore. Greedy.
Great food, fast friendly service. Save room for mango rice (my favorite) for dessert!
Food and service are great! Thanks!
Food was good, but the soda was atrocious. You can tell they never properly clean the machines.
The perfect balance of country music and choices of curry make this a great place to visit. The Tom Kha soup, the measure I use for every Thai place, was okay, but not my favorite. It had no lime in it, which is a must for me. The red pineapple curry was great, the massaman was great, the fresh spring rolls were great.
Their curries and their mango sticky rice are delicious and flavorful. If you like strong flavors, don’t order the ginger chicken.
Excellent curry and reasonable prices. Service is OK, but the food is what counts right? The curry is very flavorful and not overwhelmingly spicy. I would steer clear of the Honey Ginger Chicken - it’s great if you like mild, well cooked chicken, but it was a bit bland for me. The ginger was barely a hint, and the sweetness was not strong either.
seriously the best Beef Waterfall in the country. We drive down from SLC to get it.
Many other dishes are notable as well. Thanks for all the great years of service and food.
Fresh Thai food, friendly service, quiet atmosphere, and reasonable prices.
Very unprofessional staff. Don’t eat here.
It was good.

Good solid home style Thai food. Not the top Thai (you know the places in Las Vegas, Queens & LA) but delicious.
Good service, cheap prices, but not as tasty as some of the other Thai places around.
I love the food here and great people!

This is a great restaurant for Thai food. I am super new to the Thai food experience and the employees were super helpful. My food was fantastic! 10 out of 10 recommend! I got the yellow curry with chicken and fresh rolls with chicken. Great tasting food for a reasonable price.
100%recommended
My very first exposure to Thai. Its got a special place in my heart. Nobody quite makes a Thai Iced Tea like these guys. <3
Some of the best noodle (Pad) dishes around. Curries are great too.
Everything was as expected, yummy. We will be back!
We have had takeout here and loved it! Today we wanted to eat inside but had to hurry for a show so I called ahead to order so it would be ready faster. When we walked in and got seated they brought our cold dishes out immediately! Then our hot ones, fresh and delicious! Everything was so yummy and the service was great!
Good food, good service,
Can’t beat the prices, amazing service, or quality Thai food. This has been by far our favorite spot for orange chicken and curry dishes. Plus service is quick and usually isn’t too busy. 10/10 would recommend.
Very good food and service.
Great take out
The curry was good.
Curry is amazing!
Best place I've ever eaten at. I wish I could give more than just five stars to this amazing restaurant. 11/10 would definitely recommend.
Excellent good and service
It's the Best!!! You should definitely give this place a try !! I love there Coconut Soup !! I get it with Extra Veggies!! Yummy!!
Good Tai food! Didn't expect to find this in Orem.
I got the Chicken Sautee and the Honey Ginger Chicken. They were both incredibly dry.
I was so hungry I ate all the Chicken Sautee even though it was terribly dry. The peanut sauce was delicious though. As was the fresh rolls...yum!
The Honey Ginger Chicken was terribly dry and not very flavorful. I couldn't even eat it. The sauce on it was a clear sauce...they obviously didn't make it right. My friend tried some because she thought I was just being a pill and she promptly agreed with me and placed the rest of what she took back on the serving plate.
The Pad Himmapan was pretty flavorless too. We left that not even half done. But at least we ate a little bit of that.
I don't know what was going on tonight, but they were horribly off in the kitchen I'm sure we weren't the only displeased customers. Thankfully they didn't make me pay for the super dry
I do have to say that usually this place is pretty good. It's never been bad like this before. But you know what they say, have a good experience and nobody ever hears about it; have a bad experience and everybody hears about it. It's true.
We love this restaurant, they have my favorite tom ka gai coconut soup and we love their massaman curry and panang curry, and yellow pineapple. I also love their pad Thai- very authentic and better than many other restiraunts. Try it! Also love their lunch specials. I would love more veggies and less chicken in my entrees but if I order more veggies they give me a different bunch of veggies that I don’t like as much. Kids love it here as well which is a win.
Went to grab food from here. I was unaware that it was under “new” ownership and in a new location until I got there. It’s apparently the same family but different owners and chefs. I miss the original food. I was definitely disappointed and still left craving something that no longer exists. The service was fast, restaurant seemed clean, hostess was nice. I just miss the original Bangkok Grill and flavors.
This place is always good. Servixe is friendly, and the restaurant is quiet. High quality of ingredients and their food is good
Staff was fantastic; food was even better.
Delicious as always. Thanks Bangkok Grill!
Everything was fresh and hot but holy cow are their prices insane for such little food. The pan fried noodles (had it with chicken) were flavorless but fine, spicy fried rice was decent, and their chicken satay is pretty good. Expect to pay $40-$50 for two people and not have any leftovers.
New to Thai food and I am now a HUGE fan! Love this food.
The food at Bangkok Grill is delicious. The dining room is underwhelming, but let's be honest, the food trumps the ambiance.
Awesome lunch special - the coconut soup is one of the best!
Lunch specials are awesome, you can pay a couple more $ and get the lunch special at dinner too
Bangkok grill is one of my wife and I’s favorite places to go in Utah county. Any time we are up to visit family we always make an effort to go here. The food is amazing and we have struggled to find a Thai place that’s as good or as consistent as Bangkok. Even on busy nights the food comes out quick and delicious.
Tasteless and inauthentic. The noodles were low quality. The broccoli was the generic American type and the dish wasn't pan fried. They would do well to look up some Thai recipes on the internet and at least shop at the Asian store.
Awesome. The masaman is sooo good.
The food here hasn't ever disappointed. It is one of my favorite Thai restaurants around. The spring rolls are so fresh and yummy. The curries have such great flavor and the vegetables and meat/tofu are proportioned really well. They don't skimp out. The service is amazing. The spice level is a bit higher here than some of the other Thai restaurants, with a 5 being incredibly spicy. It's so nice that I don't have to add any extra chili sauce when ordering. It's perfectly seasoned.
Massaman Curry is the best thing ever!! I usually don't like curry but this is soooo good. I wish I could have the recipe. So good.
Most favorite Thai restaurant- Ive tried them all. Been going to them since they were on State street about 900 South years ago, then on 800 South. LOVE their Massaman Curry!!!
Best Thai food in Utah County.
Best Thai Curry in the area for sure! Red curry is my favorite!
I only got the Pad Thai here. So I can only speak for that. It had little flavor and was mostly just plain rice noodles with large chunks of tofu (don’t get me wrong I love tofu, this just was not that appetizing). It made me less enthusiastic to try other things, but maybe I will give it a second shot and just not get the Pad Thai.
Amazing service. Amazing food. The pineapple curry was absolute perfection and the red curry was actually spicy. Officially our #1 choice for Thai from now on.
Sooo yummy and affordable!! Never had a bad experience here, the food is always good and the service is awesome! The lunch specials are my favorite, you get a good amount of food for a great price!
We used to frequent another Thai restaurant nearby but the consistency of deliciousness at this place won is over. We almost go weekly now just to fulfill our cravings
Awesome!
Come here often and love the food/service.
Very good curry! Only issue I had was service was a slow, but that's because of low staff members due to Covid-19. Other then that it was great. :)
HANDS DOWN THE BEST CURRY! So delicious it is addicting, the price can't be beat, fresh vegetables and ingredients, kind staff. If you eat here you will be changing your life for the better. This restaurant is on a new level of amazing and by far my favorite place to eat.
The food at Bangkok Grill is my favorite Thai food in the area. I've been coming here for 15 plus years. You won't be disappointed. Lilly the server is our favorite server out of all the restaurants we go to. I never think to take pictures, because I'm always hungry, and excited to eat when I go.
Excellent Thai food at an affordable price. The massaman curry is very good as are other curies.
Way good, and cheap for lunch. Coming again for sure.
We have eaten here many times. Never had a bad experience or ordered anything we didn't like.
My favorite thai place!!! Weve tried all of their Currys and they all are amazing. When you order takeout they give plenty of rice too. Owners and staff are always super friendly. 10/10 recommended 👌
Best lunch specials ever.
Food is delicious and staff is friendly
Delish! I love their sweet chilli sauce on anything, so it's all good!
4.5 stars. I really liked their yellow and massaman curries. The orange chicken and pad Thai I had were just ok.
Food is great, however, our doordash order added extra charges for allergy preparation and/or an extra $3 service charge was added after order was placed. Two $9 lunch specials with free delivery ending up costing nearly $40. The mistake was with doordash and is being corrected. I didn't have this problem when I used grub hub so that is the service I would recommend. Have updated from 2 to 5 stars.
I love their sticky rice and peanut sauce so good!!!
Granted I've only tried about four things on their menu but I've yet to be disappointed The mango sticky rice is absolutely perfect with fresh mango the Thai tea is awesome personally I would ask for a little less ice but the flavor was on point I also enjoyed their currys great flavor without overpowering heat.
Very, very good!!! My girlfriend and I decided to try it out and were not let down!!
My coworker and I ordered lunch from this place, her curry was excellent, and my pad thai was decent. Would definitely dine in here, their menu looks tasty. Next time will try the mango sticky rice.
Really good food and has really good costumer service! Would recommend 10/10!
About the only positive thing I have to say is that the food was ready on time, athough it was during the pandemic when no one was in the restaurant. You would think they would have the time and incentive to make the food good so people would come back. The pad thai was dry and tasteless, seemingly 95% noodles. The chicken in the orange chicken was old and gross and also dry and hard. The wontons were oily and not crisp. The fresh rolls had good fresh vegetables but old chicken. The egg rolls were pretty good but if I'm nitpicking, small for the price. Whoever made our food didn't really seem to care about it. I would choose fast food any time before I would ever eat here.
Love this place! Lily is the best ! The pad Thai is to die for! The mango stick rice is one of a kind! Going once is not an option!
Tried to call into the Bangkok Grill 5 times, could not get through. Went to the restaurant with my son who is in a wheel chair. Got him into the wheel chair and went inside. Tried to talk to someone inside to find out if we could eat there. No one came to the front to help us. Had to park the car, and leave my son to get a seat to eat. While parking the car the waitress finally came to the front and told my son he had to have reservation to eat there, and sent him out of the Bangkok Grill. The waitress made him feel really stupid. If a handicap person goes to the restaurant the staff will not help them at all. Do not eat at the Bangkok Grill, you will be treated badly.
I realized I had a 3 star review from a few years back. Since then they have changed stuff around. The food is delicious and it has become one of our favorite spots to eat.
Excellent food. Excellent service.
The gyoza was excellent! Very clean & quiet.
The food was FAST. Almost too fast? The massaman curry was nice and sweet, with a good coconut and peanut flavor. The Tom yum was ok, good citrus notes, but seemed watered down. Definitely not strongly flavored enough. Great lunch specials, would go back.
Awesome food!! Super fast service as well!!
yammmmy!!!!
Service wasn't very friendly and my water was empty the whole meal. Plate was relatively small portion but tasted good and spice was great.
Definite repeat. Wonderful waitress. The food is perfectly authentic (fir an American pallet).
Love this food - wish I had it more often!
Great food, great environment. Friendly staff. Had a big group of people and they got our order (that was super confusing) out mostly correct and fixed the one minor problem quickly.
Good food. Friendly and timely service. We'll be back.
Good Thai food. Not the most authentic pad Thai, but the curries were very good.
The food was so so good! The service was also really awesome! Definitely some of the best thai food!!
Great wait staff! Delicious food! Generous serving sizes! ❤❤❤
Yummy yummy food!
Had their lunch special and the curry was fabulous! Great Thai food and a nice sit down atmosphere.
My favorite Thai restaurant. I eat here nearly weekly.
Not traditional ingredients, but taste ok
So gooooood. Their sticky mango rice is the best. The curry is swell and the chicken satee is wicked good. I love this place.
Best Thai food in UTAH! I have been coming here for about 10 years and will continue to return in the future. The staff are absolute amazing and go above and beyond! The food here is so amazing!!!!
This place is great delicious food I highly recommend the pumpkin soup
Not the best. There's too much sugar in the food. I got the pad Thai and could only taste brown sugar. But the servers were funny, and we felt taken care of.
Great Thai food!
I've been here several times now, and it's always been a great experience!!
Delicious! I absolutely love place! Their peanut sauce is amazing! Although today it seemed watered down, I hope this isn't the case forever now. I always get an order of the chicken satay. The pad Thai is delicious and so is their Tom ka soup. They do put extras on it such as tomatoes, which isn't my fave, but overall the flavor is very good! Definitely a must try place! So glad they reopened and I like this location better!
Food was good. Our server was very nice and quick. Not too expensive, and we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow
Mango sticky rice here is the best!!
Good food. Good service.
オリジナルカレーがとても美味しいです😆🎵🎵
