Wasn’t your typical crab rangoon, but it was good. I ordered either the Jasmin or Oolong tea can’t remember. But I was extremely impressed with how it came (in its own press! see video). We came for authentic Thai cuisine and I’ve never had Tom Kha soup, so you know I had to order that. It was great. Probably would get the Tom Yum soup next time. And finally oh boy, the Pad Thai. Was extremely excited for this one. And man it did NOT disappoint. One of the best I’ve ever had! And we finished it off with some Mango Sticky rice - 10/10. The thing that most surprised us was the service. As soon as we were done with a dish, it was cleared. The waiters/waitresses were extremely polite and professional. They even poured my tea for me every time I needed a refill. We truly were in awe because it felt like we were at a fancy shmancy place! But the prices were so reasonable and so normal. Will definitely come back. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Clean, inexpensive (compared to my go to thai near my house) and delicious. My Father brought us here for dinner early without a reservation. We got a table right away but shortly after sitting down the line started to pile up at the door. After tasting everything and it being delicious I understand why. My wife has the Crispy Duck Pad Thai, I had the Crispy Duck Red Curry with Coconut rice!!!! The duck was served as a half a duck boneless and crispy while being juicy. I really enjoyed it. Will be back and would recommend.

The only reason I don’t give all stars is because my last time there I ordered something wrong by mistake, so when they brought my food I apologized and said that’s not what I wanted the server without coming to my table yelled at me in front of everyone didn’t you told me this name of the menu ah why you say this is not what you want you told me this I’m not wrong, in a very bad manner my husband got very upset at the fact that another man did what he doesn’t yelling at me!

Food service was quick!

We went with friends and this is their favorite place for Thai. On the way in we saw several friends who frequent the place too. Really wanted to like it but the food is kind of blah-especially for Thai. I asked the waitress to kick my hotness up a notch and she replied the dish was hot enough already. It wasn't. Good service, okay ambience, okay food. Not compelling enough to go again.

Delicious Massaman Curry with sweet potato, peanut, avocado and cinnamon type spices. We will definitely be back for more of this. Reasonable prices. Good service. I gave 4 stars for the food because the edamame was limp. The crab rangoon was filled with imitation crab, but I felt it was light on cream and the pastry wasn't tasty. It was worth the $5, but I wouldn't get those again. (crab rangoon is one of my favorite treats too.)

We have been loyal customers since 2012 when they were at their previous location adjacent to federal hwy. We have driven to Boynton now on 3 separate occasions and last night had a party of 5 for out of town guests. This is the first time we experienced smaller portions of protein despite paying for triple proteins and my daughter had a winged insect in her soup which despite showing to management, they did nothing in the way of compensation until we requested a second look and asked for action. Only the soup was taken off a 230.00 bill even though we reported the absence of squid and very few shrimp on an entree that charged for triple protein. Not even a glass of wine or dessert was offered to our party for the horrible experience. Long term customers bring new customers. Rice has lost us as customers despite our long term relationship. They simply did not care. Awful management in what used to be a great Thai food restaurant, managed well.

I have eaten at Rice Restaurant for many years. I love it. I am hooked on the royal duck curry but everything I have eaten has always been delicious. The chef is a master and the service is always pleasant.

Dined there on a Saturday night. Busy but waited less than ten minutes to seat us. Food is fresh. Had the Kung Pao with beef. Very tasty.

A word of note, we did feel a bit pressured to finish up as it was getting close to closing time (8:30 - Saturday night) with multiple servers rotating around us taking plates, asking if there's anything else but felt more of a " okay, you ate, go now..." vibe. Just our experience.

Tasty and fresh. But in my opinion they use too much of rice vinegar in most of their dishes. Vegetable Pad Thai was lacking a variety of vegetables.

Rice Thai serves delicious food, in particular, their drunken noodles with Shrimp and Pad Thai with steamed Tofu. The service is not instantaneous but that is because it is cooked to order - not fast food. I will be grabbing their food each time I visit Boynton Beach.

What a cute, chic place to dine in at. The ambiance is very chill, family friendly and welcoming. It gets busy, so they don't check your table often. They add automatically a 20% service charge to a party of 4+ in your table.
We tried the fried wontons and chicken satay were very good. Then we ordered Panang Curry, Pad-See-Eew and Pad Thai. The Panang had a delicious taste and texture. The Pad Thai disappointed bc it was made with spaghetti noodles vs flat egg noodles. The Pad-See-Eew lacked some flavor, it was plain. Then we tasted dessert- sticky rice and mango and that was delicious! They even add whip cream on the side, which is a little different. Overall, worth tasting their food but know they are truly a fusion, not authentic Thai. I'd come back but I would try something different from the menu.

The food here is phenomenal! The space is a bit small so if you have a group over 4, you may want to call in advance, but they are very nice and accommodating. The cucumber soup is surprisingly very flavorful and the sauces were delicious. I love that several of the meals come with a side of pad thai! The mango sticky rice was also fantastic.

This is one of the best Thai places I've ever had. Food is absolutely incredible its on the level of some New York places and that's the feel. I see some negative comments here but its due to the fact that you may wait and its worth it trust me. This is a busy place make a reservation with a big party. Service is great its up there with any place you find in Florida I go alot!

We made a reservation here for my aunts 70th birthday and confirmed 3 times leading up to it. Upon arrival the rude seating host denied any reservation under our name. Then said he found it and now we had to wait for a half hour of which we left. If a restaurant accepts large group reservations than they should be upheld!! Needless to say we were not very happy and then had to find a new place to eat on a Sunday night at 7pm. Ridiculous!!

Finally, I found an authentic Thai restaurant in South Florida! Great service and food. No sushi on the menu means this is legit.

UPDATE 06/13/19: Much better than my first visit, right after they first opened at the new location. I enjoyed a very nice lunch Bento box (LB3); sushi and sashimi combo with soup, spicy seafood salad, and 6 pieces of hot sushi roll. You can get a 10% discount when paying with cash! UPDATE - May 7, 2021: The food and service are still great! The decor, and menu have changed. No longer serving sushi or sashimi. 😟 Everything on the menu seemed to be Thai. We had the pleasure of having a little lunch and we tried Rice Thai & Asian restaurant yesterday. No surprise after reading some of the reviews. The food was excellent. We started with the Prawn rolls which were delicious and then had the cucumber soup perfect taste, then on to our lunch. My wife had the Garlic Delight with shrimp and had the Kung Pao chicken. Looking forward to going back. Service was excellent.

Well.... my wife and I have visited this place maybe 10 - 12 times over the last few years. My wife has taken her friends there several times more.

I have never been very fond of this restaurant. The food is 'okay'.. but everything seems to be watered down. The soups.. and especially the curry dishes. (And I LOVE curry)! The portions are a bit on the small size, especially given the thin consistency. There are so many good Thai restaurants around that give a full-flavored and full-bodied curry where you end up having to take some home... and at similar price points.

But I kept going because my wife liked it enough to keep going back. That was until... the last visit. Our experience was such that SHE asked me to write this review.

My wife is Asian and we had an Asian friend visiting up recently and at my wife's suggestion (or was that insistence?) we ended up at Rice Thai once (yet) again.

We wanted our guest to have a taste of the Tom Kha Gai soup and asked for an additional spoon. It was as if we asked for a free meal. There was so much resistance to the idea and we could not understand why. Finally, our guest said something to the effect of "Can we please just get a spoon?!" And they relented.

When the main courses were set on the table the owner walked by and our guest asked for a sauce on the side to eat with her rice. The owner straight up told her that it would not be good, that she would not like it. Our friend insisted that YES... she does like the combination and once again this request turned into this 'tug of war' from the owner.

He was adamant about being 'right' so much so that our friend was visibly getting upset. All three of us was like.... "Could you just bring the sauce"!? And guess what? She enjoyed the taste combination... but none of us enjoyed the demeaning arrogance of this owner. Up to that point we had enjoyed a nice, fun-filled day and to end it like that was just unnecessary!

So.... we won't be back. I know it has to be challenging to run a small business in this economy, I get that... (Hence the thinned dishes)... but I can not in good conscious stand by without giving honest feedback for the owner. Competition is stiff... and your customers are the 'guests'... and should be treated with some basic level of respect.

EDIT** No. The person I interacted with was NOT a server. He is either the owner... or at least the manager. He runs the place. It does you no good to refuse to take responsibility for your own actions.

Consistently high-quality food. Great service. Chao, Palm and the rest of the team always take great care of is and the other customers. We eat there at least twice per week.

Disgusting service from the server Palm today. Never have I ever called ahead to a res't, advise them of my autistic child and get treated so poorly. I'm a server/bartender myself, I'm aware of how a customer should be treated especially one with small children. I didn't need any exception made on my behalf, I assessed the res't and felt it would be best to sit outside while Palm treated me like I was asking for free food. I specifically asked for no egg in our meal but I guess I can't even get what I want when I'm paying for it because I was served egg despite my requests. Palm never checked on my table during service, they brought my daughter the wrong drink and I couldn't finish my meal.
Before leaving I requested to speak to the manager and he claimed he was the manager. I left before the urge to flip a table. This is just pathetic.
Terrible after church experience.

We LOVE Rice Thai & Asian!! We have been there 6 times now in the past year and every time we had an awesome meal at a Great Price!! The food is always hot, fresh & delicious! The salad dressing is the best dressing I have ever had in my life. The server was hilarious and the food was delicious. I went for the first time with a party of six and every single one of us absolutely loved everything. We will all be back again and again.

Every time I come here the food and service are amazing. While I have only dined in three times, each time was just as good as the last. The male waiter is very pleasant and the woman is very very sweet. It’s my offices favorite lunch spot so I get take out often and no issues there either. We were party of 14 people all adults for my aunt Surprise 75th birthday party....
Our server, an older man was very rude and gave all of us an attitude for no reasons...
Their foods are just ok, but because the poor service he gave us, we didn't enjoy it...

It was my first time at the restaurant. On a Saturday evening. The hostess at the front door was very rude and disrespectful to all customers coming in. Me and my wife turned around and walked right out so unfortunate.

Honestly , seen the reviews thought this place would live up to the hype of “best pad Thai I ever had.” I got to the place around 12:15 on a wed , they had maybe 15 people dining in . Took about 10 minutes to get someone to ask what I want to drink , then another 10 minutes to get my drink (which I never received a refill) Got the Tom Yum soup , hoping for a nice sweet and sour flavor … absolutely no flavor and luke warm. Finally after about a 45 minute wait I got my pad Thai , and honestly the best part was the peanuts…. There was barely any sauce on it , but even if it had more it woulda been worse considering the sauce tasted pretty bland. Noodles were very dry, and the beef was beyond tough. Lady a few seats over had under cooked rice and wanted to get a remake , came back out a. Few mins later still undercooked. For sure won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Hands down the best Thai food in the county. I absolutely love this place! Everyone works really hard, the staff and the food are always consistent. Very highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time today here and it was a great experience. Clean place. Very nice staff. The food was amazing and fresh. The service was on point as my husband and I got our meals together. Loved the Fried Pineapple rice, the calamari was great and the fish sticks too. Definitely will return and would recommend. ❤️

Took my Grandson for Thai and he loved it. The pad Thai ( my favorite) was perfect. The red curry I ordered was excellent. Been going to Rice for years. Always great and the staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this Thai restaurant.

We’ve been getting takeout from here for years and we’ve always been very happy. Decided to come in for a sit down lunch and was so pleasantly surprised, it was even better! Food was delicious, customer service was outstanding. Don’t miss this gem. Will definitely be back.

I've been coming to this place for the last 4-5 years and this place hands down is the best Thai food in Palm Beach County!!! The service is always great, the food is always consistently amazing!!! Not a dish that I have tried that I can complain about. Pineapple fried rice, red curry, pad thai, pad si ew, garlic chicken.... you name it, it's amazing!! Oh and let me tell you about the chicken soup.....YUM!!!! This place gets a five star from me!

Fantastic place for Thai food

Oh my gosh, I loved it here!! The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional!! The waiters were so sweet! They even sang happy birthday and got everyone singing with us. It was great!!

We’ve been coming here for quite some time and tonight will be the last time. We were charged a 20% service charge for terrible service and on top of it they charged tax on the service charge.

Excellent food

I've tried a bunch of thai food in palm beach county, this place is the best & my favorite. Lunch portions are perfect if you're interested in lunch as well. We always order red curry, duck basil, or any of the fried rice dishes. The service is great even though they are low on staff I'm sure. If you don't try the food you are truly missing out on a hidden gem.

Food and service were exceptional we brought our 10 month old and the entire wait staff was so incredibly sweet with her. Had the red curry chicken and the drunken noodle. We will definitely be back!
