Great little gem in north Ogden. I love Thai food and this place does not disappoint. I hade ginger stir fry with pork and it was very good. Their pad see ew is good as well. They have a very good tamarind sauce that comes with the amazing spring rolls. They have a nice atmosphere that is relaxed and family friendly. I have three little kids and they are very accommodating and friendly.

Really good Thai restaurant! My wife and I went here for the first time this week. We will be back again! There was quite a wait and the service was a little slow, but the food made up for it. So, it's still a 5-star. Really authentic and delicious Thai food! Service was very friendly. We got the Chicken Massaman, Beef Pad See Ewe and Sticky Rice Mango Dessert. All of them were great.

My dad and I stopped by at 11 am on a Saturday morning. We were the first customers and received quick service. The food was hot and fresh; the staff friendly and helpful. If nothing else, stop by just for the Thai Sweet Tea; it is so good!

We ordered 50$ worth of food for 4 of us to go. I requested no spice because my kids were going to share the pad thai. When we sat down to eat it was so spicey even I couldn’t eat it and I like spice. We couldn’t eat it.

The vegetables and meat were fine. The sauces were thin and bland. I am a fan of Curry, but this was too runny to taste. We both kept looking for the salt shakers.

Som tam (green papaya salad) was pretty salty; larb gai (chicken) was a bit bland and I don’t think it had any ground toasted sticky rice in it. Service was awesome and the ladies were very nice though.

I love Thai food, and have been to a fair number of Thai restaurants. Aroy-D is the best of them all! Especially the curry, which is absolutely amazing!

We ordered take out as we were passing through the area.

We got the Pad Thai and Pad Si Ew. The Pad Thai seemed to be basic and have more of a Chinese feel than Thai. The Pad Si Ew was fantastic and balanced sweet and savory super well. However, the broccoli in the dish was beyond sour and inedible. This didn’t ruin the rest of the dish though!

Me and my father got the lunch set here and for $13 the food was great their L6 curry was very deep in flavor, and I really enjoyed the L11 which I was steered to by the server who did recommend against the barbecue but in a polite and friendly way, my father had their L13 which he really enjoyed as well. The salad was quite nice though it was quite heavy in roasted sesame flavor and could use a little contrast. The rice was perfectly done and a great pairing with both mains. The egg roll was great with the sweet Chile sauce though I do wish it was a bit bigger. The lenonade I got was nicely balanced and a great pairing with the food. The only thing I would say could be better was that the food is 1-5 spicy and after having gotten the food at a four the food is rated on like suburban keto mom scale so if you like spice a four or five is a must. Overall I would recommend this place if you like or want to experience a good Thai food lunch.

Great food. Ordered the traditional Pad Thai and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and an appetizer of Spring Rolls. The portions were all large. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, yet there were several filled tables. A lot of To Go business as well.

Food could use seasoning. Everything we ate was missing salt. The pad Thai is decent for Utah standards but was overly sweet. The massaman curry was not spicy and the potatoes were missing salt.

** Review Update!! I previously rated their service pretty low because they used to be nearly impossible to reach by phone for call in orders. Things have changed 👍. They answer the phone every time and their turn around for phone orders is quick too. I’m a huge fan of Thai curries and they are the best I’ve found anywhere in Ogden.

Old review ☹️. The food is so good but the service is so not good. We’ve tried calling down there dozens of times to order take out and they have never answered the phone, accept for once when I really hoped they would pick up so I kept calling back several times after it would go to a voicemail they have, or whatever it was, and around the 3rd or 4th time they picked up the phone and then immediately hung it up. So I called back again and it was disconnected. I really wanted their red curry, so I was sad. We just went somewhere else.
The wait to actually dine in is usually around an hour before they sit you.
So, we've only ended up eating there 3 times when we were feeling very patience and diligent and all the other times we wanted good Tai food we just end up going somewhere else. If the service wasn't so poopy we'd go there every time, and I'd give them 5 stars, and I'd give them a high five and a hug, so they're a really missing out.

You won’t be disappointed! Aroy-D is a hidden gem and our go to for Thai! We frequently get the Drunken Noodles, Drunken Stir Fry, and Massaman Curry. All are delicious and there are rarely leftovers! Prepare for a wait on the weekends since this is a popular spot, but know it’s worth the wait!

Good for gluten-free! Tell them you are gluten-free and they can make most things on their menu for you. Very good service.

Great service

Service is attentive when they get you seated. The food is plentiful and varied. AND delicious.
Parking is a little tricky as there are more stores than parking spaces available. This isn't their fault, but plan accordingly.
Be patient with the staff. Note that there aren't many and they don't laze about. You might wait a bit to be seated but the wait is worth it.
Very impressive selection of Thai foods. I prefer the red curry dishes, but some in my family crave their green curry. And, you can't go wrong with Jasmine rice

The best Thai food and greatest menu selection offerings in Weber county, perhaps even best including Davis county. I've been to all the Thai restaurants in Weber county, it's the best here for sure. The new ownership for a year is doing great. The quality is consistently quite good, still true November 2023.

Unfortunately, I was excited to try this spot after seeing the ratings and reading reviews. Let me tell you; this place is wretched. The tempura was flavorless. The tom kha was sorely lacking in both taste and appearance. Everything that came out looked uninspired. I hate to say it, but this was quite literally the worst thai food I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. My friend found a bug in her food, and they STILL charged her for it!!! After pointing out said bug the server nonchalantly stated, “it’s the restaurant business, I hope you understand.” I don’t, in fact. I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, from 5 star white table service to quick counter service and have NEVER had a guest complaint about tiny critters in the food. After the insect fiasco we all lost our appetites and left a majority of the food on the table. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!! I wish zero stars was possible.

Overall it was a good experience. We did have to wait a little while to get a table, it was packed for a weekday night. The food and service was good. There was a small language barrier that our server had a hard time understanding some questions we had about some items on the menu, but no big deal. I got the Pad Thai and it was good, but not the best one I've had. We'll be back to try some of their other dishes.

This place is definitely a hole in the wall. I almost don’t want to tell you how good it is. We were looking for additional gluten free options and decided to take a chance here. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but I’m so glad we dropped in. The food was excellent and our server was great. The place was surprisingly packed, but it didn’t feel too crowded or loud. We will definitely come back again.

This was my first time coming to Aroy-D Thai Cuisine, I didn’t get to try any of their food, because I was to busy waiting to be sat at a table. I’m not sure if I suppose to sit myself but when I was standing at the entry table there were 3 staff people that came out of the kitchen looked at me and my friend didn’t ask if we needed anything, didn’t say whether or not they would be back to help us, didn’t tell us we could sit ourselves. Not to mention someone came in for door dash and a staff person came out immediately gave the person there food, looked directly at as and still didn’t say anything or even I’ll be right with you. I’m questioning if my friend and I have a invisibility cloak on. Safe to say my experience and very short lived.

Wow, great spot. Super friendly staff, great food, and good atmosphere. The owner offered me an awesome option since I'm vegetarian. I forgot to grab my receipt and the same guy sent me pictures of it so I could be reimbursed by my work. Just super nice of them.

It was really good. I especially like the crab rangoons. Those are always a favorite. Our host was very attentive. The food came out really quickly. They actually kept my water filled up and almost no place does that unless you continually at your server about it. So, extra thumb up for that!

I have had several great lunches and dinners at this restaurant. The Owners are there all the time, working hard in the kitchen or out front doing their best to handle all of the customers wants and needs. I honestly don't know how they do it, working 12-14 hour days 6 days a week. Gotta love restaurant Owners without them we gotta cook our own meals, argh. I love the Panang curry, Num tok, who am I kidding it's all Amazing food. Thank you staff and Owners for the best possible experience.

The food is good but the management is horrible! They are NOT kid or special needs friendly. The OWNER himself kicked us out because my kid was upset by the noise in the restaurant (it was pretty dang loud) the owner came up and was very sassy and let us know that us and our noise sensitive child were not welcome and we couldn’t finish our food and had to leave.

Gosh, what a bummer! Went here tonight for a family members birthday dinner and the owner was completely out of line. We had a kid who was crying for a moment (no louder than the other noise of the restaurant, it was really loud in there and other kids crying/making noise) and the owner came up behind the mom and abruptly said over her shoulder “you need to keep your child quiet I’m losing customers”. As we were leaving a few of us tried to have a civil conversation with him but all he was interested in was defending his poor choices. He’s completely unreasonable, and out of touch with being a kind human. There’s a much better way to handle that situation. We won’t be going back as long as he’s there.

I'd say one of the best places for Thai in Ogden. Their food is fantastic and their staff is very friendly and kind with a great clean space.

We usually come here for special occasions. The lunch special is great where you can order two entrees for one price. We all order something different and share that way we can try so many different types of curry. It's hard to pick a favorite as we like them all.

Good service. Prices are what you'd expect at a typical Thai restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of larb, but I actually liked the larb here. Pad Thai is unique, but the massaman curry is the most solid one I've had in a while. Chicken satay and cream cheese wontons met expectations.
