I can't say enough great things about The Theo Thai Bistro! The food is absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. My favorite dish has to be the Drunken Noodles; the balance of spices and textures is just incredible.
On top of the fantastic food, the customer service is top-notch. The staff are so friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. It's clear they care about creating a great experience for their guests.
If you're looking for delicious Thai cuisine and outstanding service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
An absolute gem of a family-owned Thai restaurant! Leon and his family have created something truly special named after their son Theo, making every guest feel like they’ve been welcomed into their home for a meal.
Grandma was cooking up a storm in the open see through kitchen. The food came out so quickly. We started off with the chicken wings—perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Then came the Kanom Jean Green Curry, which was rich, fragrant, and full of depth. The drunken noodles had just the right balance of spice and savoriness. We ordered medium and my spice tolerance is so low but it was delicious. Finally we finished off with the beef basil, which was incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
Every dish was cooked with care, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!
I went in with no expectations as usual. The food was really good. The Tom Yum soup with vegetables was absolutely delicious. The Bahn mi was really good too- the bread 😍. The papaya pickle salad was so interesting and delicious. My partner got the chicken satay and he loved it too. The servers are really nice and the decorations were super cute.
This place was very cute and the food was good!! There were 7 of us and the service was amazing! The crab rangoon was delicious, and their lunch special was extremely filling. I got a spring roll, tom yum soup, and chicken drunken noodles for the lunch special. The thai tea was also tasty. Highly recommend!!
The one thing love is a Family Owned Business who love to work on their craft of making good food. Normally, I'm not a fan of fusion as most fusion places lose tough of just making one good dish. However, Theo Thai Bistro made great Thai Food as well Pho. The owner was proud to share that he has been working on his pho broth for years. We walked in just before the rush came in to pack the dining room of about 40 to 45 seats. Definitely, worth returning and trying the other Thai and Vietnamese Dishes.
Owner is very accommodating. The food is amazing. Alway look forward to the beef pho when it’s available!
Good food. The beef pho is excellent and a generous serving. The owner is very kind. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will visit again.

Delicious! I've been going to this restaurant for years and happy to see that their menu has grown. Their Bahn Mi chicken sandwich is so good, and their flat noodles is one of the best I've ever had. I really enjoyed their shrimp mango salad too. Their thai iced tea is AMAZING! They get really busy in the evenings and weekends so I'd love to see them have more than 1 person available to serve tables. Sometimes you're waiting a tad too long for the server to get to your table. With that being said, I will definitely be visiting them again soon because the food is worth the wait!
Delicious food, awesome ambience & super service! Together makes Theo Thai our favorite halal thai restaurant for wholesome family dining experience!
We got the Thai iced tea , curry puff, udon drunken noodles and steam dumpling on a Sunday night. Service was great and food was prompt. Definitely recommend
The food was average compared to the price they charged. 85% of the food was rice 5% vegetables and 10% chicken. We were two people for $45.00. Waitress attitude was 50% out of 100%, so the choice is yours if want to visit the place.
We went in the evening and didn’t make a reservation. The staff was accommodating and kind. We got our food with little wait. The food was tasty. I would say make a reservation and order most of the items in the beginning. The place gets very busy with the pickup or delivery orders.
Big portions for quite good price; good for heavy eaters or people who want leftovers.
Servers were very attentive. We got the beef stew with noodles and drunken noodles. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.
Honestly great food. Tastes very delicious. We used to eat here weekly but we stopped; I feel like the food has just gotten really expensive & the portion size is rather little. We literally get 4 things & spend over 80 bucks. For 80 bucks we can get much more food. We still come but maybe once a month now.
I went in with no expectations as usual. The food was really good. The Tom Yum soup with vegetables was absolutely delicious. The Bahn mi was really good too- the bread 😍. AMAZZZZING!!! 😻😻😻 I ordered through uber eats because I was hankering for some comfort food and was looking for something different! I typically always order green curry chicken when I order Thai but figured I’d change it up and saw they had PHO! I normally go to another place to get it BUT NOT ANYMORE! This soup was SOOOOO GOOD!!! My hubs and I got it with the chicken and curry puffs (my hubs fav) as an app!! What was SO DELISH~ was not only the flavor but the portion of chicken!! I find other places it’s usually never enough in my opinion BUT this was plentiful!! I’ve never been to this place in person but am adding it to the list! Also looking forward to trying other things!!! PHO with Chicken 5 STARS!!! DEF RECOMMEND!!! 🤩🙌🏻🤩🙌🏻🤩🙌🏻
Great food! I always crave the drunken noodles from here, great customer service! Can’t recommend this place enough!
Good food.
Lunch Special is very reasonably priced at $14.95.
I ordered:
Tom Yup Soup
Massaman Curry & Jasmine Rice with Squid!
Extremely tasty food and impeccable service!!!
delicious food. and the atmosphere is so cute. will definitely keep coming back here.
Great restaurant run by local Muslims from Thailand. They even have grandma working in the kitchen. Food was great and the owner was very kind and spoke to every table to make sure everything was going well.
The beef pho was very very good
The beef pho is one of my favorite dishes in all of New York! Absolutely delicious beyond words! Highly recommended!
It was so amazing and the food was delicious!!!! 10000000% recommend coming here!
BEST Thai food in the neighborhood. Food was absolutely delicious! PAD GRA PROW Basil is our favorite. Their service is good, too. Not only Thai food, they serve authentic Pho noodles soup. Highly recommended!!!!!

If you're looking for delicious Thai cuisine and outstanding service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Ate here recently and had a wonderful experience, food was fantastic as usual and we were provided with excellent service. Their dine-in experience is very nice, most definitely will be back!
Went with a group, server was polite and chill, ordered the spicy udon pad kee Mao and it was pretty good.
They were great! I had a large party and they were so understanding and accommodating! The food is great and I consistent every time. 10/10 would recommend.
An awesome casual spot to eat. I LOVED everything. Started with Crab Rangoons & the sampler platter. For entrees we had the beef drunkin noodles and the beef and yellow curry. If you want to be adventurous try the lemonade/iced tea (get the large)
Went there last night on a whim because the place I go to normally was closed. Took a chance and ordered drunken noodles, curry puffs, spring rolls, Thai hot tea, Thai iced tea. Everything was amazing. The wait was not long at all, the ppl there were really nice, and the food exceeded my expectations. Going back a second day in a row for the Thai hot tea.
Wonderful place to eat! The owner and workers were very polite and accommodating. Definitely will come back again, thank you so much! :)
* The red curry & ribeye were OD.
* peanut sauce, crab rangoon, & beef pho are good
* calamari & coconut soup nice.
We had dinner with the family on a very cold night. The ambience of the place is amazing and the decor so beautiful. You are instantly engulfed by warmth and color when you step in. Their cutlery is also so fun.
We ordered Tom Yum soup and dumplings for appetizers. Both were amazing but Tom Yum soup hit the spot. For entree, we ordered Thai basil rice, red curry and drunken noodles. Loved loved the food! Drunken noodles was the whole fam’s fav. They have an extensive menu. Can’t wait to try other things on it later.
We got the beef pho to take home and had it next day. That was amazing too! If you are looking for great Thai spot in Long Island, this is it.
One of the better Thai restaurants on the island. Good portion on the pho. Chicken sate is on the small side but tastes pretty good. Sort of expensive but worth it
This place was very cute and the food was good!! There were 7 of us and the service was amazing! The crab rangoon was delicious, and their lunch special was extremely filling. I got a spring roll, tom yum soup, and chicken drunken noodles for the lunch special. The thai tea was also tasty. Highly recommend!!
Food is amazing very good and tastes amazing service is great food is very spicy when you get the "thai spicy" which i love. Tastes 10x better in person
Halal and good is amazing!!! Service is amazing very friendly. This is my go to spot whenever I crave for some Thai food.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere
Great service & great food!!
sooo pretty love the place. owners are very involved and make sure you are having a wonderful experience. Food portions are very big and the staff is very friendly and food is probably the best i’ve ever tasted. i’m bringing everyone here when i come next time!!
This is my go to spot for halal pho and halal banh mi. I drive from Queens, NY out here because the food is worth it. The pho is so popular that it sometimes sells out, same with the banh mi.
This place is one of if not the best Halal Thai places in ny. The food was amazing, I got the chicken Pho and the Thai iced tea, both really good, and the service was good too. I don’t really have any complains about the place, authentic Thai food for a good price, Halal, clean and filling. 100% coming back
Absolutely amazing. Been here multiple times with family, and came here with a large group of friends pretty late at night, and the staff were nothing but accommodating. One time my mom forgot to take her iced tea when we were leaving, and when we came back a month later the staff remembered and gave her one free. 10/10 would recommend
I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Phenomenal service and delicious Thai food at this halal restaurant. Their pad thai Pad Kee Mao, Udon Noodles with beef is GREAT but you must try their Panang Curry with beef especially if you’re always having noodles at Thai restaurants lol. Also try their Banh mi sandwich (with the lemon grass marinated chicken), super tasty.
Great place, great food, fair prices. Very friendly staff
Great food and great atmosphere, pad see ew is always great!
Really cozy atmosphere with delicious food! The service was outstanding and the Thai iced tea was the perfect accompaniment to the dinner.
I had the Thai milk tea from Theo Thai Bistro, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced and refreshing. You can really feel the care and authenticity that comes from this family-owned business. The service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality Thai food and drinks.
Went for a quick date lunch with my wife. We were expecting small portions and average Thai. We were sooo surprised at large portions and the food was soooo flavorful. We ate so much and still had leftovers! The service was quick, friendly and genuine. I’ve never really eaten Thai before, but I definitely will be now at Theo’s!
Amazing food, they continued serving us even after they had closed. Amazing hospitality
10/10 food
10/10 service
Thai place, was very shocked to see they sell Vietnamese food like pho and bahn mi, but it was THE BEST pho and bahn mi I’ve ever had.
The Small pho was in a huge bowl, HUGE portions and home made broth no packets just straight authentic pho. If you catch them when they drain their broth they’ll give you the bone marrow TOO good.
Owner is very nice and very passionate about their food.
Came in 30/40 minutes before they closed felt bad but the owner was very happy to serve us.
10/10
Local business, owners are kind and has the food to match. If you’re a bit iffy about them serving Viet and Thai don’t, the owners Viet and Thai themselves. Bahn mi although soft bread was delicious and owner wanted it that way to prevent cutting the mouth to enjoy some of their homemade pho. Nothing but passion for the game, pho is house made without pre packaged spices. It gives such a homemade meal in the best way possible.
Family owned, please be kind w/them they are attentive, friendly, and make a wonderfully delicious home cooked meal. Good on time, I went in during a full house and ordered drunken noodle w/beef, beef pho (also vietnamese here), calamari, chicken satay and a thai iced tea. This is better than Queens.. especially if you want SPICY food. I will be tellling people who like spicy and good Asian food! And it's so cute inside.. they really care about their place and making the food personable... palate friendly! :) I'm a fan, buh bye LemonLeaf.
The service was amazing! The staff were very friendly and kind. We went there specifically for their pho. Which was absolutely delicious. The best halal pho in NYC! They never disappoint. We also, tried their drunken udon noodles it was so flavorful and I enjoyed every single bite of it. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you're looking for quality Thai food.
Leon the Owner was great and very accommodating, food was amazing and ambiance is really nice. Top reccomendation for Thai food in the area!!
Husband and wife duo serving up the best Thai dishes in all of Long Island and the best Vietnamese chicken bhan mi and beef pho on the East coast. We’re always dining in and ordering for pickup/delivery.
Excellent food!!! Must try
Great lunch special and service was excellent.
Got 2 massaman curries with the ‘Thai spicy’ level (alleged spiciest) and both had 0 spice. Service was also extremely poor and they were not attentive at all, they never even refilled our water for the 1.5 hours we were there.
We brought it up to our waitress’s attention and they brought sliced mango as an apology. I was hoping to have the curries remade but they refused.
This is the ONLY restaurant I will go to now for delicious Thai food. The beautiful garden like aesthetic, exceptionally nice and genuine service, and the authentic food is 10/10. It’s mine and my families favorite place to dine! Highly recommend this gem😊
the drunken udon noodles with chicken is bomb, the owner is also really sweet
great food. great service, chill vibes. generous portions. i wish the people running this place great prosperity

Loved that place🤌🤌🤌
Honestly this is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants!! The food and atmosphere is amazing! I always order spicy basil fried rice and crab Rangoons and they have tasted delicious every single time. 100/10
Food was great! We had the beef Pho, chicken friend rice, shrimp friend rice and beef udon noodles. Leon was the server and he was funny, welcoming and very attentive. He works very hard!
Would like to mention we were initially told a 1.5 hour wait on a Sunday night, despite giving our name 20 mins prior.
Delicious food prepared and served by wonderful people.
Great food and nice atmosphere. It is also reasonably priced especially the jumbo drink. Owner is really nice. Highly recommend for great Thai food.
Best Thai spot in the area! I love the food and the service. The staff are kind and welcoming. Wish I could eat their food everyday!
My favorite Thai place. Service is always super friendly and they have the best chicken pho in all of Long Island. No pictures today because I ate the food too fast. Also try the chicken sate and the delicious crab fried rice. 5 stars always.
Ordered 6 different dishes with a group. Service was fast. Everything was delicious. Definitely coming back.
Food is delicious! Server was great! Love the decor! We’ve been back several times and will be back :) Great plus that they’re on Foodie Card.
Highly recommend the chicken phǒ and pad see ew!!
I had such an amazing time here, the atmosphere is so cute and the food was delicious! Such dedicated service!
Greatest Thia restaurant around.
Theo Thai is a fantastic restaurant and always a pleasure to visit. Every time my family goes, the owner always greets us. He remembers his regulars and always makes us feel very welcome. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with plenty of flowers. It's always busy during the weekends so make sure to set up a reservation ahead of time. No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. The food tastes great. I'm especially a fan of the pineapple curry and pad see ew.
The decoration is very nice, for starters. I've been here many times, and the quality of my experience has been constantly good. The food high of quality and tastes very good, and the servers are incredibly kind, as well as the boss, who is one of the nicest and most chill people ever. The place may have slightly limitted room, however that does not bring down this review in the slightest.
The owner made us feel very welcome and remembered us. Accommodated for a large party size and food was excellent. Would definitely come back.
Excellent food
You gotta make a reservation on the weekends. Otherwise you’re turned away.
That’s all we kept seeing.
That’s a great thing to witness because you know it’s good and popular. The owner tried their best but it was too close to the reserved times.
We saw many to go orders picked up.
Second time here and the Pho was sold out at 6pm. The new batch was not ready till 8pm.
That’s the main reason i went there.
I was offered a beef soup which is also on the menu. It was good but i preferred the Pho. My son ate the soup and enjoyed it. He’s 5.
It was just so my drink order was forgotten. No big deal we reminded them and got it straight away.
We will come back and make sure the pho is available first.
excellent food and service. All dishes were delicious!
Delicious food and drinks here. Expansive menu and a ton of them are amazing.
The rush is brutal at times so be prepared to wait for much longer than you expected.
We went for dinner here and LOVED it! Highly recommend the thai lemonade iced tea, crab rangoon, shrimp blanket, chicken dumplings and the beed udon was out of this world. The staff was super welcoming, kind and the experience was great overall. This is 100% a new favorite spot for us!
My go to spot!
This restaurant is pure chaos. They had just one server trying to a) Seat a dozen people who were waiting even though 4 mom reserved tables were open. b) Take in person orders c) Take online/phone orders.
Be prepared to sit in a crowded, tight, loud space with people bumping into you and the table. The food might have been a saving grace but it was served luke warm with suspiciously cold portions in between which might mean it was microwaved.
All in all, wouldn't recommend even without the chaos, but most definitely not WITH it.
waited for 10 mins before asking to be seated, waited 30 minutes and the server didn’t take our order. left without eating. food is okay but service is absolutely unacceptable and a waste of time. only worth ordering for delivery
This is a MUST TRY spot on Long Island! Best thai food (and all meat is halal) Exceptional customer service, great ambience and authentic flavors! Drunken noodle and green curry were sooo good
The food has always been great here I’ve never had an issue with paying my bill or tipping here. I’m not sure if they have new ownership or what’s going on but I recently just went to have dinner with my fiancé and when we walked in we waited to be greeted, once we sat down the server took roughly about 30 min to just give us our menu which I didn’t complain about. When I asked her to re-read our order she spoke to me like I was a toddler once again I didn’t say anything. After we finished our meal we paid in cash and I asked for change she proceeded to ask me twice if I was “sure” I needed change I said yes, I took my change and I left her tip based on the service I received. As we walked out of the restaurant the server yelled out loud the amount that was left and then proceeded to chase behind us about the amount I left her. To say I was embarrassed is an understatement the restaurant was packed and once she yelled the amount everyone’s head turned. I’ve been going here for over 2 years I’ve referred multiple friends and family to this place and now I will no longer do so. Not sure when chasing after customers became a thing.
To start I've been to this restaurant 3 times and 2 of the 3 times my experience was not good.
First time - the place is small and gets crowded and not enough staff. The food was ok.
Second visit - better experience with staff, less crowded, nice decor and good food.
Third visit - the absolute WORST. It was crowded, mismanaged, looooong wait despite there being empty tables, wrong order, and terrible customer service. Everything that could go wrong went wrong.
I ordered Tom yum soup and specified I want vegetarian as I don't eat meat/seafood/eggs. My husband ordered a different soup with chicken. When the soup came his was vegetarian and mine had chicken. We informed the staff and they took it back to correct. We waited again and the soup was served again and they specifically said Tom Yum vegetarian. I began to have the soup and midway through I found chicken in the soup.
At this point the main course was also served but we hadn't started on that yet.
We called over the sever and showed them the chicken in the soup. She had the audacity to yell at me saying it's not her fault and pointed to the kitchen. Right then the other staff member came over and again we showed them both the chicken. At this point we couldn't trust that the remaining of the food was correct and had to walk out.
The first time when the order was wrong we gave them the benefit of doubt and allowed them to correct but after the second time we had no choice but to walk out.
I will NEVER go back.
The food is good but the wait time is horrendous not because the staff is not good but because the management doesn’t employ enough people. We have been here for 45 mins and they haven’t taken our order yet and they are not paying attention to us. There are only 3 tables sitting here. I came here back in April as well but the same thing happened then as well. I just think that they should employee more people and not overwork their staff so much.
If I could give them 0 star, I would give them zero stars. I ordered food at 6.50pm. its 8.46pm and still no food. We placed the order directly from their website for delivery. The delivery guy was waiting for more than 1 hour. When we called the place, the person answering the phone was rude and kept disconnecting. When the driver tried to talk to the person on reception. He was insulted and was told to wait and stand quietly. This all happened when I was on the phone with the driver. We tried to cancel the order but got no luck. I understand that restaurants get busy but they could have just apologized and give us the time frame. Never ordering from them again.
We recently dined at Theo Thai, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. We asked Leon-the owner, if we could book the entire restaurant for a private family event of 30 people and he kindly allowed it. From the moment we stepped in, the staff was all hands on deck making sure everyone got their apps, drinks and was comfortable. We did not do a prefix menu, we let everyone order for themselves.
Theo Thai's menu is amazing on a regular day (we order almost once a week anyway). But on that night, We savored dishes like Tom Yum Soup , red curry, masamam curry, udon noddles with rib eye steak, Pad Thai, and the beef pho (just to name a few). each bursting with its own vibrant flavors. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented.
Whether you're looking for a place for a small gathering or an intimate dinner, Theo Thai is a must-visit. The combination of friendly staff, Leon's personal touch, and outstanding service makes this restaurant truly remarkable. We left with full hearts and satisfied taste buds. Our guest loved the food and were eager to come back for a 2nd visit,
Thank you, Theo Thai for an unforgettable dining experience!
As a father, I’m sure you understand how precious time with your children can be. I see my son only once or twice a month outside of supervised settings, and on those rare occasions, he often chooses to dine at your bistro. This particular visit was especially important to me, and I placed an online order for pickup with the intention of quickly enjoying a meal together. However, when we arrived, my son expressed that he wanted to stay and eat at the restaurant instead.
At that point, I asked if we could dine in, but I was told there were no available tables, despite the restaurant being half full. I understood that one table was reserved, but I felt that a simple adjustment, like combining a few chairs, would have allowed us to stay. My son was disappointed, and I tried to explain the situation to him.
As I was speaking privately to my son, you approached me to ask what the problem was. I told you to “keep walking” as I was talking to my son and asked you several times to step away. However, you remained in my space, which escalated the situation. This eventually led to a verbal exchange, and I regret that my frustration showed, especially in front of my son.
Thanks for posting my name and phone number … real nice customer service… I didn’t write that you are confrontational with customers— or anything about cursing … just that you’re stubborn in your ways… which is true…
I seriously cannot believe the reviews on this restaurant. Did anyone else not taste the food that comes with no salt no seasoning but looks good. I’ve been trying this place several occasions sporadically and it’s the same thing they make their food for Long Island people only not for anyone else I believe. it’s terrible no flavor no salt. Nothing it makes you mad tasting this food and you spend so much money.
This place is truly exceptional! The food was nothing short of extraordinary, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor. The chicken puff was a perfect blend of crispiness and rich, savory filling—an explosion of taste in every bite. The short rib pho, though, was the real star: tender, succulent meat in a broth that was both deep and aromatic—by far the best pho I’ve ever had. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The environment was spotless and welcoming, and for those who seek halal options, this is the place—no pork, just delicious, thoughtfully prepared food. A huge thank you to Leon, the owner, for bringing this culinary gem to Long Island!"
This is my go to place whenever I am craving for Thai food in the neighborhood. Unless queens, there are so many thai restaurants in Long Island but not many authentic ones. This one is the good one I would say. Food is nice and owners are super friendly. I would recommend anyone who loves Thai cuisine.
Come here at least once a week. Sometimes 2 or 3. Foods always great, they’re open late, which is great for my family after school sports or evening events and looking for a late dinner. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and always accommodating. Give the place a try, my go to is the beef pho.
tastes great, looks great
Perfect place to go for a quick delicious meal. The ultimate comfort food.
Great Thai food
Saturday, August 3rd 2024 at around 8:30-10pm. I saw a really pretty girl In a red dress, sitting with her 2 friends! I was sitting with my mom and sister. Red dress girl, if you see this reply back! Let’s get married
Honestly if i could rate this place 20 stars i would. One of the BEST food places i ever tried. SOO underrated. I love every single thing on the menu that i have tried and its also so cheap. So underrated even if its halal. Everyone is so friendly. Love everything about this place.
Below average food, was going to leave a tip with cash before the server came up to us yelling for us to tip like it’s required.
Excellent service with yummy Halal food. Fully recommended!
best halal thai on the island
I got take-out (pad-thai and spring rolls) and the food was very very bad. It tasted super old and the oil left a bad taste in my mouth. Do not recommend eating here.
it is expensive for the neighborhood when you compare to other cuisines , but it is tasty !!
DO NOT COME HERE! I had an extremely disappointing experience with this establishment’s customer service. After placing an order for delivery through their website at 8:30 pm , my food arrived at 10:11 pm. When I called to inquire about the delay at 9 pm, the representative I spoke with was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. He spoke to me as if he was doing me a favor by arranging the delivery through Uber, despite the fact that I was paying multiple fees, including a delivery fee, service fee, and tip. I ordered my food through their website not Uber, doordash, Grubhub etc. It’s their very own website and no 3rd party affiliation. It’s their responsibility to get my food delivered. Despite assuring me multiple times that they would call me back with an update, I never received any follow-up communication from their end. I called multiple times and they blamed the entire situation on Uber taking no responsibility themselves. This level of service is unacceptable and has left me very dissatisfied. Never ordering from this place ever again! It’s just not worth all the hassle and horrible customer service.
Food being delivered late happens and may have been out of their control, but what’s really upsetting was how rude they were!
Update: They asked me to come to the restaurant to get a full refund in cash for the situation. My entire families dinner was ruined from this whole fiasco. I sent my father to the restaurant and they told him his daughter has to take down the review and come herself then they will give a refund! What kind of blackmailing weird business is this? I don’t need a refund from such a place.
Not good at all. Order wings for appetizers, you can tell they were frozen. Dumplings tasted like dry Kabob meat. Pho was terrible. almost smelled spoiled. meat was literally not seasoned, neither was the soup. Even the water was bad, it was regular unfiltered tap water 💀 just bad experience overall.
My wife and I have been eating here since it first opened. This is probably the only restaurant I have come across whose food and service remained consistent or even got better as it got busier and bigger. 10/10! All the stars for them.
Underrated Thai spot, super tasty drunken noodles
Came here last night 6 people we ordered appetizers and the main course. For 3 people main course came first . And then appetizers after 15 minutes and other 3 waited for another half hour by the time the first 3 were finished eating. And then they charge us gratitude for 8 people by 20% and plus tips so for $120 bill tips were like $55 . Never coming back here again
Great place for lunch or quaint meeting, food is yummy but what stays on my mind is the coconut dessert.. Must try!
Love the food highly recommend
I remember when this spot had a ramen restaurant before it became the Theo Thai bistro and haven’t had it since it changed until today. The parking lot here is small for all the businesses and I was lucky to get the last spot at lunch hour. The door is abysmally hard to open on even the slightest of wind days like today but that’s a small pet peeve nothing against the restaurant. The decor is lovely with a garden theme and the tables accentuate the look albeit with an ikea style flair. Prices for lunch are fair ( includes a spring roll , soup or salad with chicken pad Thai for $13) The waitress was kind and the service was prompt as well. However I was the only diner at 2pm so I had hope so. I’m shocked the pad Thai doesn’t come included with peanut sauce and the peanut sauce is a $5 charge, it wasn’t oily but had thicker noodles than I’m use to honestly a 3.5/5 star pad Thai if I’m honest given plus marks for not being oily but nothing really stood out as amazing. The hot and sour soup also wasn’t something I enjoyed but I don’t think I’d enjoy the flavor anywhere else either as it isn’t for me and should get the salad next time. The spring roll was the star of the show honestly. Crunchy, flavorful, fresh with a delicious tangy sauce that pops in your mouth.
Food is absolutely delicious! There isn’t a dish there that lacks flavor. Massaman and red curry are an absolute must try. Drunken noodles are the best I have ever had and everything tastes so fresh with flavorful. If you’re looking authentic delicious Thai cuisine and halal, this is the spot.
First time eating here even though they have been here for some time.
Their red curry was so delicious! I wish they had some more vegetables in it, but it tasted great. The Thai iced tea was not overly sweet. The dumplings, so good. It has been a long time since I had Thai food, and was glad to have eaten here.
The waiter was nice, but it was a little difficult to under because they talked very quickly! Overall, I would definitely recommend and would come back here!
Originally from Queens, we are so delighted to have found authentic Thai food, here in Bethpage. Everything is above and beyond, and the flavors are phenomenal! Chatted w some fellow diners also frpm Queens originally, and every one was so thrilled! It's a small place, very charming and intimate - a family business . We are so glad to have found, and intend on returning frequently. Truly wonderful and warm hospitality.
Beautiful food, beautiful service, the owners are incredibly nice. Would highly recommend to anyone. We were there right before they closed and still let us dine in.
Everything here is delicious and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend the mango salad with grilled shrimp and the pad see ew with beef. The mango with sticky rice dessert is a must have!
Beautiful decor to eat in! Drunken noodles and Pad thai were delicious. Spring rolls were also amazing. Food came out quick and was clearly fresh! Kids loved the sticky rice and steamed rice noodles! We'll be back for sure!!!
Great food and kind service! Their Pho beef is the best.
My recent takeout order from Theo Thai was ruined by spoiled baby corn in the Thai basil vegetable fried rice. The dish emitted a foul odor upon opening, indicating a severe lapse in quality control and food safety. This disappointing experience raises concerns about the restaurant's commitment to freshness and hygiene standards.
The hot n sour soup was out of this world amazing.
Best Thai tea you will ever have.100x better than any boba place you will ever try
Great experience!
My family and I had an excellent experience at Theo Thai. After finding the restaurant on Muslim Foodies, we came same-day in the late afternoon.
I myself ordered a steak with drunken udon doodles. All the noodle dishes tasted exceptional. However, the steak was bland in comparison.
Moreover, the service here was 100% perfect. Two servers, a man and a woman, were extremely friendly. They entertained us with good conversation, which maintained the great atmosphere.
The decor of the restaurant is beautiful as well.
I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try tasty halal Thai cuisine.
My girlfriend and I just went. The food was amazing. It’s so fresh and homemade . I recommend the curry puffs and the pad Thai!
Amazing place! Went in for a birthday dinner and the food was delicious! I recommend the Fish cake and appetizer sampler, and the Drunken Noodle and Pad Pak. Owners were extremely nice and assured me everything is halal!
Needs another chef! They have one girl cooking and two waiters. Takes at least 20-30 mins for food to come. Table next to us was there way before us and were very upset they didn’t get their food after like 30-40 mins. They forget your orders/ mix up your orders. Food was alright. Needs better management.
Tastes so good
Was sad to see my favorite local thai place close, but everything happens for a reason because then we found this place! Nicely decorated, great service, and of course delicious food! We will be back :)
everything was amazing! Service was perfect and the atmosphere is so pretty! Definitely going to come again:)
Food was DELICIOUS!! I will be coming back :)
Wonderful little restaurant. Food was terrific. It was clean, staff was professional and personable. I'll be back.
