What a great Thai restaurant! There were six of us so we were able to try a number of different dishes and they were all outstanding. The preparation of the dishes was unique and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the owners were very happy to see us. The rice pudding with mango was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time (there was enough for two people to share one serving)!

Diner Review №2

Excellent noodle soup and wings! Can’t wait to go back

Diner Review №3

Our waiter? A hero who hooked us up with a table and food even while it was packed. The music? 10/10 flute slay vibes. The SALMON? Drooling. Thank you.

Diner Review №6

Unique Thai offerings that always exceed my expectations. By far the best sit down Thai restaurant in town.

Diner Review №7

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever in Utah. If you ever get the chance to eat here please do. The meat is tender and the flavor is amazing.

Diner Review №9

We got the Pad See Eiw and Tom Kha Soup. The Pad See Eiw was extemely salty. We tried our best to power throughout since it was almost $20, however we wished we would have given up because we got viscously ill and had horrible diarrhea. Turns out too much salt can actually hurt you. It was not worth it.

However the coconut soup was very yummy.

We did Doordash, it was on the night of the 16th. Maybe this place can be good when you aren't poisoned.

Diner Review №10

Service was not great.. and we were disappointed by the food. I think this 3 star rating is fair to the quality of food and level of service you can expect.

Diner Review №11

Awesome food presentation music booths love it

Diner Review №12

I adore this place. Under the old ownership I liked the food but the service and food was often times very inconsistent and times disappointing. Whomever the new owners are one tell a corner has been turned. The food is consistent, mummy and the staff works their bits off. Five stars for me—I’m pulling for these guys.

Diner Review №14

The Kao Soi noodle soup is amazing - I can’t stay away. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Diner Review №15

The Khao Soi was the best Thai dish I have ever had

Diner Review №16

We absolutely loved our experience! We found Kin Sen on Google after getting into town and needing something quick. It was so flavorful and the service was excellent and the Kao Soi was unbelievable. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №17

Great service and delicious food!

Diner Review №18

Had people rave for this place, I may change my review later, I had the green curry and was surprised on how bland it was and it had 1/2 as much chicken as you’d expect

Diner Review №19

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We started with the Thai ceviche, which was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated; a great way to kick off the meal! The boat noodles followed, and the rich, complex broth really stood out. However, the true highlight for me was the Khao Soi curry! It stole the show with its perfect balance of creamy curry and spices, as well as stunning plating.

The service was friendly and attentive, though one small point of feedback: our drinks were brought to the table held by the rim of the glass, which can feel a bit unsanitary. It’d be great if they handled drinks from the base or mug handle instead of where diners drink from the rim.

Despite this minor issue, Kin Sen Thai delivered on taste and quality and overall dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Mill Creek area. Make sure you try the Khao Soi!

Diner Review №20

We consistently get great, fresh food, and the service is excellent!

Diner Review №21

Food was so amazing!!! Especially the Tom Kha soup. really great restaurant

Diner Review №22

Diner Review №23

Very lovely staff and delicious food!! The short rib in my boat noodles fell right off the bone, and the soup flavor was amazing.

Diner Review №24

The food is amazing and the service is outstanding! We will definitely come back again soon.

Diner Review №25

Poor Man Noodle Bowl is the bomb!!!

Diner Review №26

Amazing all around! Drunken Noodles were the best we've ever had! Everything so fresh! Will be back to try more. Also, not to mention the restaurant was very clean & great ambiance.

Diner Review №27

Warning: This little gem will RUIN every other Thai restaurant in the valley for you.
Their Khao Soi is hands down the best that I've ever had! It was served with a whole chicken leg that just fell apart and was so juicy. Also, the Thai tea is exquisite!!
My sister and I went back a week later. lol
I can't wait to return again and again to try the rest of the menu!

Diner Review №28

Absolutely phenomenal. Amazing and authentic every time. Never had a bad meal and happily drive in from out of town for more. This is a gem of Salt Lake, for sure

Diner Review №29

Phenomenal food, highly recommend any of the chefs specials and the honey toast or sweet combo when they have it! Best Thai in town.

Diner Review №30

awesome dinner. best thai in town

Diner Review №31

Co-worker mentioned this Thai Restaurant she and her cousin dined at and she raved about the food and serving sizes. Best she has had she said.
I am always looking for Thai Restaurants.
For me today I had lunch and oh my gosh, full size lunch not mini portions.
Large soup bowl of beef red curry, delicate layered carrot and cabbage salad, Egg roll.
I wanted to indulge in more food to taste more, so having rotee and ice cream dessert.
I ordered 4 other meals to go to enjoy for the week.
Quiet, beautiful atmosphere, lounge music playing.
Chefs are superb and extraordinary in skills. I told them I was 'in love' with the food. Excellent service from Hosea partner of Thai Head Chef. Roger from Columbia is other Chef.
They made the experience so beautiful to dine here.
Operating 3 years I was told. Lovely for a date night or meet up with a friend or two.
I am making this My regular Thai Restaurant... and I am driving from other side of SLC to get here.
May you all Enjoy.

Diner Review №33

We love this neighborhood restaurant. Service was fantastic. Food was great.

Diner Review №34

The restaurant is so cute!! I love the atmosphere and the service was amazing! Our server was so kind and the food was amazing!!

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

My review is only on the Pho because that’s what we got. I found it a little too sweet, but it was still good. I think if we got Thai food instead of Pho my rating would be higher. Don’t get me wrong, it is still good but just not Pho that I’m used to. I did like all there were more noodles than other places which was nice.

Diner Review №37

The pad Thai was good and nice presentation. The Thai ceviche I swear was cooler ranch Doritos chips and my friend had the salmon curry and the curry was more just like oil. We only had half a booth (other half was metal chair) and service was slow (granted I think they were understaffed cuz only one server). Prices and portions were generous but def had better Thai.

Diner Review №38

Boat noodle is incredible!!!!

Diner Review №39

I’ve been here more times than I care to admit (I might have an addiction lol). Food is incredible. The people are extremely nice and welcoming. The whole environment is A++. I go at least once a week… truly tastes authentic

Diner Review №40

Best Thai food in SLC! Great massaman, great boat noodles, everything is amazing. Couldn’t recommend more.

Diner Review №41

Fantastic food. Very polite staff, but very disorganized. Forgot the drink, never cleared our plates, had to ask for the bill. Maybe go another times besides Friday night, or get takeout🤷

Diner Review №42

Good Experience and delicious food

Diner Review №43

Diner Review №44

High quality food at a good price. The boat noodles are the best in Utah by far. Amazing!

Updating to say the Crying Tiger Beef is SO good!

Diner Review №45

The BEST khao soy in Utah, hands down

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

The food is so good you’ll dream about it.

Diner Review №48

The food here is authentic and excellent. Our server was very friendly and the cook came out to see how our food was. I had a surprisingly wonderful experience. I highly recommend coming here. I know that I will be back for more Tom kha soup.

Diner Review №49

Great neighborhood option. Excellent mango crispy chicken, warm atmosphere!

Diner Review №50

Food was really good. Staff was nice. The atmosphere was really calm with the slow downed version of music they play. Wings for sure

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

The khao soi and the curry puffs are incredible!

Diner Review №53

Amazing food, amazing service. The ratings don’t lie.

Diner Review №54

Excellent Vietnamese place. Passing through town for a few days. Came back two days in a row

Diner Review №55

Genuinely my favorite place. The Kao soi is the only thing I ever need to order, but everything else I've tried(Curry Puffs, Gyoza, Panang, Tom Yum, Red/Green Curries, Out of the oven noodles...) has been capital 'D' for Delicious! Wish this place got more business 🤞.

Diner Review №56

We (party of 4) came into the new location on 3300 S. We arrived exactly at 5 o'clock, there was only one other party there. We ordered our food at 5:30 and after waiting over an hour at 6:30, we asked only to be told our order wasn't given to the cooks! Meanwhile, lots of other tables had been filled and served, and even one had left by then. The server said he was sorry and would give us his employee discount, but when we received our bill, there was ZERO discount applied. Someone other than the server came out and said he was sorry, claiming that lots of online oders had come in. He hadn't realized we had actually arrived 90 minutes earlier, and when we balked at him saying that, he seemed embarrassed he even brought it up because we didn't believe that. By this time, we'd had it! The food was yummy when we finally received it, however.

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Went in on a whim and am so pleased. The food was fresh and flavorful. Will be back

Diner Review №59

Had a great time!

Diner Review №60

The food is amazing! Great atmosphere and service too! I really enjoyed Boat noodles. ^^

Diner Review №61

My partner and I LOVE this place. It’s an unassuming place with high quality food with depths of flavor and textures. It’s has become our go to spot when we are looking to treat ourselves to something nice. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a go if you’re looking for something new.

Diner Review №62

This place was so amazing!! It has a good modern vibe, perfect for a date night, but casual enough to be relaxed for a family. The food portions were huge with plenty of veggies and protein, and the flavor was so good! We loved everything we ordered, especially the chicken satay which was more like a large piece of very well cooked chicken with the best dipping sauces. There’s short ribs fell off the bone and was amazing. I loved that my boat noodles came with some broccolini well cooked. There was so much rice in my daughter’s dish, perfect for when my kids want a lot of rice!

Diner Review №63

Diner Review №64

The Khao Soi is 10/10 and Wali is very nice. Best Thai food in SLC.

Diner Review №65

We dined many times. The food is always excellent, the service is very good.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

Best Kao Soi I’ve had yet. This is the fifth time I’ve come here for the Kao Soi in the past two months because I love it so much. I’ve also had the massaman curry, which holds up to any curry I’ve had in the states. Mango sticky rice is an incredible dessert as well! One of our favorite restaurants now.

Diner Review №69

A little slow but we'll worth waiting for.

Diner Review №70

This was an unexpectedly delightful meal. We arrived into SLC on Christmas Day, and knew finding a place for dinner was going to be a challenge. Not only was Kin Sen Thai open, but fast service, and very tasty Thai cuisine. Their Christmas Day playlist was an added bonus. Highly recommended and would return next time we are in SLC.

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

This place is a hidden gem in Millcreek. They are serving fresh, high quality food. The dishes are so flavorful. Attached will be pictures of our meal tonight. We will be coming back many times!

Diner Review №91

We love this place. We rotate through our favorites here, the pumpkin Thai curry, sukiyaki, poor man’s noodle, and Thai boat noodles. High quality, good vibes, and the nicest owners ever. One of our favorites!!

Diner Review №92

Vibe was great! Flavors were soooo yummy! My new fav Thai restaurant. Will for sure be coming again. Pineapple fried rice was wonderful, good size shrimp too.

Diner Review №93

This is my favorite Thai place is all of Utah!! They have a ton of gluten free options and everything is delicious 😋 Get the poor mans noodles or any of their currys!

Diner Review №95

So delicious!! Great atmosphere as well

Diner Review №96

Amazing noodles and amazing service. Can’t wait to try more dishes.

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

Best Boat Noodles in the state! Full flavored with authentic Thai taste, reminds me of my mom's Thai noodles. The broth bursts with savory dimensional flavor highlighting Thai spices, basil, light vinegar, garlic, salt and the right amount of sweet to balance it out. The restaurant ambiance is very nice and stylish. It's the perfect spot in East Millcreek. A must try!

Diner Review №99

Honestly was expecting a lot of flavor in the food with ratings this high. Food isn’t good or bad, I won’t be going back. Overrated !!!

Diner Review №100

The food is amazing, and consistent. The staff are incredibly kind, quick, and knowledgeable.

Diner Review №101

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №104

Today, I had the chance to try Kao soi chicken , khao kha moo, and boat noodles.
Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well. I highly recommend everyone to come and try it! 👍👍👍

Diner Review №105

If I could give Kin Sen more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This has become my all-time favorite spot. The short rib boat noodles are simply out of this world—so flavorful and comforting. Their Thai tea is hands down the best I’ve ever had, perfectly creamy and sweet. The gyoza and edamame are spot-on, absolute perfection in taste and texture. The service here is always outstanding; the staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive. And the ambiance? Just perfect! Kin Sen is a must-visit, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Diner Review №106

The boat noodles are insanely delicious! It's like Phở but on steroids. I can't stop craving it now. I love this place!

Diner Review №107

The new location is awesome. I love the friendly and prompt service, amazing amount of options, and the rich flavor and aesthetic presentation of every dish I have tried. I have been here 4-5 times already!

Diner Review №108

Best Thai in Salt Lake! The boat noodles, curry, kao soi… it’s all great!

Diner Review №109

Hands-down the best Tom Kha in town! I’ve never had anything but delicious food here!

Diner Review №110

Never disappointed. I love how fresh everything tastes, and the food isn’t drowning in sauce. This is our go-to spot for Asian food.

Diner Review №111

My colleague hyped up the place so much that when I arrived, my expectations were up on the roof! Even though it’s not really bad food, it just didn’t live up to the expectations. Being a vegetarian, I had a very limited option and the main stuff of Thai like Thai curry I couldn’t have as they use fish sauce. So I had drunken noodle. It was decent, downside was the taste of tofu. The drink I ordered along with that was amazing, lavender lemonade.

Diner Review №112

Good food, good service.

Diner Review №113

Such great food! I'm gonna be back here a lot, for sure.

Diner Review №114

Got the Poor Man Noodle and Kao Soi.
Both were delicious! Also try out the teriyaki tofu.

Diner Review №120

Fantastic spot!! Great addition to SLC dining scene! Really fresh and well-prepared dishes! Absolute must-try!!!

Diner Review №121

Very authentic Thai food. You’ll find items in the menu that aren’t your typical. Very flavorful; large portions; nice presentation; and, reasonably priced. Had to servers, but they did a great job taking care of all of their customers. Good was served quickly and came out nice and hot. Will definitely be back.

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №144

We got the Kao Kha Moo rice plate,
The pork was fantastic!
Food came out quick and our server was very friendly

Diner Review №145

A delightful neighborhood spot! The waitstaff were so kind and charming and the food was flavorful! We were both enticed away from our normal “go-to” Thai food orders because of all the exciting options that were new to us.

Diner Review №146

This place is amazing. I walked in the restaurant hangry af. Been a long day... Ordered the Sakè (cold) and my hanger started to fade… Ordered the pork Teriyaki rice and it was FANTASTIC!!! Capped the meal off with the coconut sticky rice… This is my new spot for Thai Food…

Diner Review №147

They just opened and so glad they did! Food was quick and so yummy! Don’t forget dessert!😋

Diner Review №148

Kin sen is the only Thai restaurant in the valley that has boat noodles to die for. The portions are generous including the amount of short rib it came with, plus it was falling off the bone. The flavor profile is on point. Ask for a side of chili vinegar, it really kicks it up a notch! I’ve had lots of boat noodles in Thailand and this definitely scratched the itch for me.

Diner Review №149

What a great addition to the neighborhood! We’ve had their food before and are excited to have this new location so close to home. We love the Poor Man Noodle, Yakisoba, Tom Kha, and really everything! We haven’t gone wrong yet. 10/10 recommend !

Diner Review №150

Food was amazing! Service was wonderful.

Diner Review №151

Many thanks! So happy to discover this local gem 💎

Diner Review №154

Great food and great service.

Diner Review №155

Kao soi was outstanding

Diner Review №156

One word… Wow. This is incredible food. I’ve never had anything better. Please try here you will not be dissatisfied👌

Diner Review №157

Excellent food. Great flavor. Recommend the Kao Kha Moo.

Diner Review №158

Great food I’ve tried most of the dishes here and they are all great!

Diner Review №159

Top notch. Northern Thai options which is rare. One of our favorite spots

Diner Review №160

Kin sen has the best Thai food in all of Utah! The meat is impeccably cooked and everything is seasoned beautifully!

Diner Review №161

delicious Thai foods

Diner Review №162

This is yummy food! The mango chicken is to die for!

Diner Review №163

Some places like to spice up their Pad Thai. This is not one of those places. They did spice up their pineapple curry a little bit. The mango sticky rice was phenomenal. We will definitely return and try out some of the other options.

Diner Review №164

We have been regular Kin Sen customers since they opened at the 2300 E location. Their move to 3300 S. seems to correlate to a sharp decline in quality, and the website now looks unprofessional and AI-generated (see screenshot--crepes are nowhere on the menu--this is not, nor has it ever been, a dessert restaurant). The signature boat noodles are almost unrecognizable, and ingredient quality has clearly gone downhill even if the overall original recipe is being followed. Restaurants may change ownership and/or chefs without skipping a beat, but if that is what has happened to Kin Sen the difference should make any fan of their previous menu very sad.

Diner Review №165

Deep rich beef flavor in the short rib boat noodles!
Chef/owner is very kind and knowledgeable!

Diner Review №166

THE SHORTRIB! Absolute perfection! We ordered it in the boat noodles and kow soi curry noodles. DELISH!
Note: they will have their alcohol license this October!

Diner Review №167

Best potstickers and the pho was absolutely amazing!

Diner Review №168

Diner Review №169

Kin Sen Thai TOGO, where your taste buds take a world tour without the need for a passport! I started with what I like to call ‘Broth of Champions’—this epic beef noodle soup was basically a warm hug in a bowl, but with more personality. The rich, savory broth was so delicious that I almost considered drinking it straight from the bowl (no judgment, right?). With crunchy pork rinds on top and enough bean sprouts to make me feel healthy, this dish nailed both texture and taste.

Then came the ceviche—a surprise I wasn’t expecting in a Thai spot but hey, fusion is the name of the game! It was a delightful mix of zingy citrus, tender seafood, and tortilla chips so perfectly crispy, I swear they have a dedicated ‘chip whisperer’ in the kitchen. It was like having a party in my mouth and everyone was invited.

So if you’re in Millcreek and your stomach is doing the cha-cha, Kin Sen Thai TOGO is where you need to go. Just don’t blame me when you become a regular!

Diner Review №170

Diner Review №171

The boat noodles are excellent. It’s similar to Vietnamese pho but with noodles! The boba was great as well. I like everything passion fruit flavored and would definitely get both again coming back.

Diner Review №172

Everything I ordered was the best I have had around here in a long time! The service was great, presentation was great and taste was great! Can’t wait to go back.

Great little spot! We enjoyed the Khao soi and boat noodles. Attentive service. Kind owner.

Diner Review №186

Great customer service! The food is very delicious and flavorful. I would definitely come back again.

Diner Review №187

Everything here is so good! Cannot recommend it enough. Get the Boat noodles and kao soo. Mango sticky rice is also the best in the valley.

Diner Review №188

Unbelievable noodles. I got the Kao Soi with short rib and it was definitely one of the best dishes I’ve had in town. I also tried my friend’s boat noodles and the broth was incredible. Can’t wait to try more things on the menu bc I’m sure they’re all delicious if this visit is any indication!

Diner Review №189

Yummy

Diner Review №190

The food was terrific. I ordered the poor man’s noodles with shrimp. Portions are ample. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and server was great. Total recommend.

Diner Review №192

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so nice and friendly!

Diner Review №193

Free mango sticky rice to leave a review but it’s still an honest review

Diner Review №194

Really good food and fun service.

Diner Review №195

Very yummy!

Diner Review №196

Kao soi was great

Diner Review №197

The Boat Noodles are out of this world, and the Thai Tea was the best we had ever had! The service was also phenomenal, and we will definitely be coming back again!

Diner Review №198

Such a hidden gem! From drinks, appetizers to entrees and desserts, this place offered such unique dishes. So much thought is put into the balance of flavors, textures and way it’s presented! The cha ma now drink was something I never tasted before but it was so light and refreshing. I typically don’t like flat rice noodles but the sen yai dish has a great balance of grounded pork with hidden green onion crunch. I got the beef boat noodles with egg noodles and what made it so unique was the crispy pork chips. Once it got soggy with the soup, it just had enough of that crunch to still give a kick in each of your bite. Either way everyone should give this a try because none of the dishes let me down!

Diner Review №199

Quaint, cute, and cooked to perfection! Get away from hustle and bustle for a beautiful Thai experience near the foothills. Cha me now (Thai iced tea with lime) and the kao soi with short rib was the perfect summer treat! If you save room for dessert they have excellent mango sticky rice to top it all off and if you’re not ready to drive home you can relax on the back patio and just take in the sunset. Enjoy! 🤌🏽😋

Diner Review №200

Everything we tried was amazing. Gyoza appetizer was amazing and so the Kao Soi with shrimp had a great curry flavor. The garlic chicken was delicious must have!! They have a cute backyard patio that was intimate.
