This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Utah. The Tom Kha soup is so light and flavorful! We love getting the beef waterfall, pad thai, pad si ew, and gyoza. The chili sauce here that the gyoza comes with is my favorite sauce I've tried from various Thai restaurants. You can customize your spice level too. We usually go with a spice level 2 and it carries a kick. It is out of 5. Everything tastes fresh.

The food at Thai Land is amazing! The massaman curry is some of the best I've ever had, the pad thai was fantastic, and the orange chicken was surprisingly addictive. Also, the mango sticky rice was a must-order. There was only one staff member I saw while there, and she was incredibly friendly. However, we waited 20 minutes to order, 30 minutes for food, and we had to snag our own drink refills. If you've got more time available for your meal, then that won't be a problem. I'll definitely eat here again, I'll probably just get it to go.

This was a top choice among me and coworkers for years when I used to work in the area. Although I don’t work nearby anymore, I still head over to this restaurant for a good meal and it is sure worth it.

My top recommended dishes are the orange chicken and the pad thai, though we recently tried the sweet and sour chicken and it was very tasty as well. The serving sizes are very large so bring your appetite. This place also has allows you to select tofu as your protein if you want to go vegetarian.

The waiting staff is always friendly and the food is usually served very quickly. This a family owned business and if definitely has that more personal feel to it.

Ordered through Uber , the app kept asking for my Amex code, four times, finally went through, waited over an hour, when out to 711 buy cheap food, got back and their was two identical meals at door and a double charge. No calls or messages left at my house.

Start by saying the food is all delicious & the reason why we go. Because if the food wasn't as good there is no way we would put up with the slow, unorganized, chaotic service. Did a door dash order for pickup with a 30 min pickup time. Walked in the door and there was at least 20 people right inside the doors waiting for help. 12 people just waiting to be seated & the rest waiting for pickup orders. There was no one up front keeping things organized or talking with people coming in the door. They couldn't keep it organized. They would ask 1 person at a time what they were there for then run back to the back to get an update. So inefficient. Finally a woman came up and found out who was waiting to be seated & basically pointed to them & said you go there, you go over there, ect. Then once the dine in people were cleared she would take 2 names at a time and go to the back. One lady had been there for over 45 minutes, they kept bringing out orders that came in after hers. They kept blaming their "new system". But if it isn't working then figure out another way. Write everyone's names down in the order they came in & work top to bottom. Have a 2nd person take all the orders for the dine in. When I got my order 35 min after the time I was told it would be ready none of the dine in people had ordered & the lady ahead of me still hadn't gotten her food & it was her 1st experience at this restaurant.
It is getting more & more difficult to deal with the terrible service that seems to get worse with time. Such a shame because it really is good food.

Ordered takeout after looking at their online menu. The price is nearly double in person. Pointed out that their website listed the lower price, they said sorry you still owe the higher price. Horrible customer service and illegal false advertising.

Thai Land is the Thai restaurant and I have been coming here for years. This quaint place has the best dishes and the mango rice is to die for. Moe has an amazing story and a great gal who gives great friendly service. Don't miss out!

Last minute dinner plans and ended up stopping by. We had absolutely amazing customer service by David. The food and Thai tea was great and will be our new favorite date night out.

A great little Thai Place that's unassuming, but delicious and very reasonably priced. Their Spring Rolls are wonderful and the Massaman Curry (with beef) is excellent. Try Mangos and Sticky Rice for dessert. Lunch menu is excellent... I've been here at least 20 times over the last decade and always recommend this place.

Atmosphere (in a strip mall) is lacking somewhat. I honestly think they could dress up the place a little bit nicer... paint the walls, update the seating and decor... and charge 20-30% more for the same food.

This place is great. It's conveniently close and the food always tastes fresh and delicious. I do feel like the sizes have gotten smaller and they used to have a lunch special that was a great deal, but I understand times are harder so it's harder to keep good deals going if there aren't enough people. I hope they bring the lunch deal back but if not, I'll still come in.

The food was really good. I got the red curry, my daughter the pad Thai and my husband the Pho. We also got the order do fried dumplings. The chairs and tables could use an update but the food made up for that.

Service was quick and professional. The spice level was perfectly matched to the levels of 1-5 advertised. Great place for a quick work lunch to be complete in 30 minutes. You can stay longer if you want as they are in no rush to get the tables turned when people are not waiting. Will return again.

The food here is amazing! Everything tastes fresh and flavorful.Pad Thai is rich, Pad Kee Mao was amazing and Tom Kah was so refreshing. The ambience is quiet and intimate. No music was playing so you felt like you could actually talk with friends there. The wait staff didn’t stop by a million times to ask inane questions about the food. They stopped by when they needed to. We didn’t feel rushed out either. Almost like a coffee shop feel where you can just connect with people. Would return again!

I thoroughly enjoyed Thai Land! It was recommended to me by a friend, and to be honest I haven’t ever been a big fan of Thai food, but I loved the atmosphere, and the service that I received. My server Kyle provided excellent service, and was very helpful when it came to ordering. I had never really had Thai food before so I really appreciated the patience and help. I ordered the green curry and thought it was delicious. It was a little spicy, but I highly recommend. Overall great experience!

I eat In restaurants over 200 nights a year with work including a lot of Thai restaurants. Great food, really fresh & fair prices. A simple menu so not overburdened by too many choices. Squash curry was Phenomenal along with maybe seven other veggies in the dish. I’ll definitely eat here again when I come through SLC

Best Thai food in Salt Lake county

I had a great experience here tonight. The food tasted fresh. The service was excellent. The ambiance isn't very good, but it didn't take away from overall experience. This restaurant is worth trying.

Loved it! It's hidden, but in an easy to reach area. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. Everything was awesome. The flavors are spot on and unique compared to most Thai places. I really love what they did with the Chicken Satay and the Spring Rolls. We actually found that we really liked the sauces for the Spring Rolls, and the option to have them as just veggie Spring Rolls. And everything else was amazing. Definitely worth stopping by, especially if you're visiting the Aquarium or IKEA.

This Thai restaurant is a gem! The owners are incredibly kind and the food is always delicious. The massaman curry and pad Thai with chicken are a must-try. When they ran out of mangos, they surprised us with a strawberry sticky rice dessert. So this last time we had to go with the half mango, half strawberry sticky rice! Such a thoughtful touch! Can't recommend this place enough.

My husband, my daughter and I went out to dinner about two weeks ago. My daughter was treating us. We ordered our food and it took forever to get to us but my husband did mention on the menu that it did say it takes a while and to be patient order food we got her food, the lady forgot the shrimp rolls and I could hear her in the back talking very loud telling someone in the back but I ordered the shrimp rolls to go. I did not. I ordered them to be paid separate a few days later my daughter got a call from her bank, saying, our dinner was $75 but they also charged a tip on her card for $75. We have went back numerous times asking for a copy of the receipt we want to see how it was changed and they would never put a copy of the receipt Iwould just watch your Receipt and make sure they don’t put a high tip on.

Great food! Amazing people that are friendly and nice. However they have three people working the entire restaurant and that includes the cook. Service is extremely slow and I am talking snail speed. To many orders. If you and one other couple were in the restaurant then it’s money.
Prepare for 45min to 1 hr after ordering to get food if busy.

Food was good, but there was no discernible difference between the two different pad noodle dishes we got, except one different vegetable.

Also, portions are smaller than what you would traditionally get in an entree from an Asian take-out.

Popped in for take out for the fam. Got green curry (Yum! Just the right spice.) orange chicken, & pad see ew. All delicious. They were quick & friendly.

Most Thai restaurants serve cashew nut chicken and its a tad too salty. Thai Land's chicken stir-fry had a very good flavor and the perfect amount of salt! Another thing I noticed was how clean our tabletop was. They had decorated for Valentine's and put hearts under the glass and it was a really sweet touch. My son and I had tofu pad thai. Again, the taste was very good. I could tell both our meals were made fresh. I will definitely return. Thai Village, where I used to go frequently hasnt been as fresh lately. Oh, and our Thai waitress was so cute!

First time ordering takeout and the food was great! It arrived fairly quickly and was nice and warm. The portion sizes were a bit small for the price compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. I still gave 5 stars tho because the food tastes amazing! The spice level was perfect. We got the Massaman Curry and Pad Thai.

Lots of good food. Be sure and get exra meat. Not enough flavors and spices for me to go back. But it might be perfect for you.

Unfortunately, we had to wait over two hours to get our food. The food was great when it came and I'll definitely get takeout from them in the future, but I don't plan on dining in anytime soon.

You already know, this place is 🔥. Best ham fried rice in the state! Not to mention the yellow curry is my personal favorite. The owners are super good people. All the food is made fresh right when you order. (Which means you will wait a little longer but it’s worth it)

I've not traveled much, so take this with a grain of salt, but this is the best Thai food I've had in Utah, hands down. I eat Thai food any chance I can get, so I've been to at least half of the local places. The food is so good, I couldn't care less about the service and atmosphere.

Excellent authentic Thai food, this will be our go-to. Papaya salad super fresh and delicious, we ordered 2 spice on everything and any more and it would've been way too spicy. Delish red curry and panang curry dishes. Won't dissapoint!

Might be the BEST Thai food in the Salt Lake area. I have been here several times and the Thai food has been very consistent, which can be hard to do sometimes 😅. It seems to be the right amount of spice with a prefect flavor. My favorite is the Pad Thai! It's very Good! The atmosphere is pretty boring 😴. The service isn't great, but the food makes it up for me!

The Khoa soy curry here is amazing.

Food was just how I remember, although a little too spicy (probably my fault for ordering medium spicy level on the green papaya salad). It has taken me three days to eat it because I can't handle all that heat at once, but I will eat every drop!
The side of sticky rice I ordered was not enough. I wish more rice was included because I think it is so good to soak up the juice with the salad and the cabbage.
My favorite spring rolls with mint leaves were refreshing.
The guy who greeted me and the woman who handed me my food were very courteous. I am already thinking about what I will get next time.

Tables weren’t very clean to start. The waiter took our order and forgot to ask about drinks. We sit for an hour and ask what our status is, and the waiter says oh sorry what did you order again? There was a mix up. So we had to leave and go somewhere else.

The food is amazing! The restaurant was extremely busy and only one server was working and she was doing a PHENOMENAL job handling all of it! I just wanted to post kudos to her because she handled the stress so well.

The waiting staff is always friendly and the food is usually served very quickly. This a family owned business and if definitely has that more personal feel to it.

Nice place, good food, good service. But, expensive! $20 for lunch ( including tip )- no beverage.

Said order would be done in 15- 20 minutes. Showed up at 15 and they said it’d be 15 more minutes. Then 5 minutes later came out and said they couldn’t find my order. Finally got it 35 minutes after I showed up. And when they brought it out was leaking in the bag. I couldn’t wait any longer so asked them to double bag it and I left.

If you love Thai food, don’t miss this place! Their pineapple fried rice is amazing and their massaman curry is delicious. I usually get takeout and have had a very easy time picking up all my orders!

Had a great meal with our friends and family. Food was hot and fresh.

We have ordered from this restaurant several times and something has changed. My cousin knew the owner in Thailand. But when we ordered tonight everything was all wrong first of all it was hotter than @$%#&. I know I'm a wimp I do not like really hot food but my lips are still burning when I called them they said they hadn't done anything different they offered a mere 10% off my next order I can't even eat the order I have. The potatoes were mush there were a few shrimp in the shrimp order and very few pieces of chicken something has changed and not for the better.

We placed a pickup order on a busy Tuesday lunch and despite that, our food was prepared very quickly! The staff was very friendly, and the lunch special was a very generous portion, and tasted fantastic!

sketchy place, I left one of my belongings, I called them two days later and it turns out that they threw it away, not coming back at all

Nice servers and cute interior but the food was not great. Green curry was watery and pad thai was bland with hardly any flavor or sauce.

Used to love this place a few years ago - it honed my obsession with beef waterfall. Recently got takeout and it just wasn't worth the price at all.

I got the red curry, egg rolls, and chicken satay. The satay was delicious with the sauce! The egg rolls were pretty good, but mostly egg roll paper. I liked the dipping sauce. It was yummy. The red curry was good on heat (spiciness - I got a 4/5), and it was tasty, just tasted a little different than I've had other places. It was a little heavy on the thai basil, in my opinion. Service was good. I carried out. They were helpful and courteous. I will definitely be back to try their other options.

Food was hot and fresh. I ordered the spring rolls, best part. As well as the mango curry.

They didn't have coke, although he had to check this with the back to be sure, with every new table that came in after me. The also didn't have any Pad Kee Mao at the time. Landed up getting watered down Sprite. Neither here or there.

The mango curry was a spice level of 4, but it was just extra cheyenne pepper on top. So once that was eaten it left no spice for the actual curry. The curry itself was very bland. I only ate one plate and left.

Service was slow, however was adequately or if not over staffed for the time of day.

Great Thai food. Some of our favorites have been pad Thai, massaman curry, spring rolls, chicken satay. I love getting take out. I like ordering online as I can take my time deciding what I want. Lesson learned however. DO NOT ONLINE ORDER, especially with chow now. CALL! I recently did an online order through chow now as I had done many times before, it sat on pending for 30 minutes until I called. I was informed their online ordering was down and no, they weren’t taking any online orders. Well, unbeknownst to me chow now called them 3 1/2 hrs after I placed my order. My order was fulfilled without my knowledge, never received a confirmation email or anything. Instead I was called over 4 hrs after initially placing an online order asking if I was on my way. Thai Land was already closed at that point and my kids were in bed. I don’t live super close. I wasn’t given any other options other than to pick up the food asap and hung up on. I was out the money and without any food. Update: four days later I did get a cancelled order email from Chow Now and should get refunded after a couple days.
