I might give it another try myself to see if it improves.

I recently dined at Thai Siam in Sugar Land and had a fantastic experience. The combination rice and cashew chicken were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. The peach iced tea, with its free refills, was a refreshing accompaniment. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere added to an enjoyable dining experience. Definitely a 5-star recommendation!

Probably the best tasting Thai food I had the pleasure of having in Houston. Freshly prepared oozing with flavour. The portions are Texas size and the price can't be beat. Service with a smile and cleanliness second to none. The atmosphere is pleasing and so is the interior decor. I have been here few times before and when in the area during a meal time, this would be my first choice.

My job catered Thai Siam for lunch the other day, and it was so delicious. Everyone was raving about how good their order was. I had the veggie pad Thai and veggie crispy rolls. I really enjoyed my food. The portions are also large so you can share or save some for later. I would eat here again. It’s great Thai food.

This place charges a service charge of 18% on top of the bill. No other similar grade restaurant does this. If this restaurant is confident in their service then why do this? This place is a joke.

I don't understand why this place has so many 5 star reviews. The food was passable at best, and like other people mentioned we were charged an 18% service fee. Pay your employees a decent wage and don't screw your customers.

Tried this place again after 5 years BUT I WISH I DIDNT. It still sucks so I’ll be keeping the 1/5 star review. Big wait time for only 3 dishes (one of them being a salad), service fee of 18% for two people, overpriced for the portion, and the food isn’t good. Absolute trash owner when confronted about the service fee. Pay your employees more with your increased prices, but doubt any of that is going to them.

I visited Thai Siam last night and ordered their Tom Yum soup, pepper steak, Pad Thai, Panang curry, and Thai tea. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, but what really stood out was the terrible customer service. When I mentioned that the Pad Thai was dry, they suggested I specify that I want it less dry next time. For the Panang curry, which lacked any vegetables, they explained that they don’t add them during dinner service. Instead of addressing the issues, they were defensive. The only thing worth trying was the soup, but the poor service overshadowed even that. I don’t recommend patronizing this restaurant.

Oh and to top that the bill was $100. Definitely not worth it.

Raised the prices up plus automatic addition of 18% gratuity for 2 people seems simply outrageous! Charging extra for thai spice level as well. Every item you see on the menu has a big markup. Not coming to this place anymore 😕

Multiple tables arrived after and got their orders first. When we recieved our food, we thought that it was because we had larger meal as to why the wait for long, it was child size portions. Was very disappointed for it to be expensive in the end.

Great tasting fresh food! Had the red curry lunch special and a tomato yung chicken soup. Service was great and prompt.

So I recently visited this restaurant for a meal To go. I really enjoyed the food, so the following week i decided to dine in for a business lunch. It was 2 people, both of our menu items were around $13 and change. The waiter asked how spicy we wanted our meal to be we both said medium spicy. When I was handed the bill, it was subtotal of around $40. Like a normal person I added gratuity since I didn’t see it itemized on the bill. While driving back i began to think why was my bill $40+ tip for a meal that was around $27 in actual items bought. So I called the restaurant and to my surprise, it’s additional $2 if you want it Thai style or Thai spice, and %18 gratuity is added automatically. I felt scammed!!!! Like why are you charging %18 gratuity for 2 people??? This isn’t a fine dining restaurant, we weren’t a large party, so why this policy???

Pay your own waitstaff!!! Don’t charge your customers extra just so you don’t have to bear the cost of labor!

Will not be going back anytime soon.

Shame that this place does not include pork in the menu. This is a Thai restaurant supposedly. Last time I checked Thai cuisine has pork dishes. Obvious I know why too.

Hands down the best biggest fried fish i ever had in Houston. Its fresh and delicious will def come back for more. Don’t forget to order the coconut ice cream as well!

We have known this place for many years. Really disappointed with recent service. We were party of 6 and was told to wait for 10 minutes. They ended up reserving 4 tables after knowing we were waiting outside in cold and did not have courtesy to notify us. We continued to patiently wait for 30 minutes and again when table got empty we thought it was our turn but they told us it was reserved. We ended up leaving without dining.

Food is good, service is good, prices for food are good. I only have a couple of issues with this establishment. One is that they don’t tell you that they include 18% gratuity and when they return your credit card the itemized receipt is taken away and there’s a line for tip. I didn’t notice several times and would tip an additional 20%. I understand that I didn’t look over the receipt and that was my mistake however I also would have appreciated been informed that gratuity had already been included as this is not the norm for the restaurant industry (unless the table has 6+ people). Another thing that was brought to my attention today was that the Thai tea was $6 and $7 if you add tapioca. I feel like that price is high for a beverage. Overall it’s a great restaurant and worth the trip for good Thai food. I

We ordered two dishes that proceed to take an unusually long time (more than 30 mins) to arrive. With no updates or apologies provided.

After our meal, we got hit with an 18% gratitude fee on our bills. We were in formed that they charge 18% on everyone bills (including take out orders) This was the final straw as it felt like a slap on the face.

In short, I’d recommend everyone to bring cash to pay and tips as a way of payment to avoid the 18% gratitude fee enforce on to you.

I was not willing to tip them that much due to bad service and experience, but they told me that EVERY transaction comes with that 18% hidden fee, and that also includes to-go order.

TH07092023. I took a Pad Thai banckok and it was good, tasty. The plate is quite original. There is a picture of the temple of dawn Wat Arun in Thailand. Service is good and relatively fast. I didn't hear any music so it would be better to use a little bit.

Ate there for the first time ever with my wife. I had the pineapple curry and it was delicious. My wife had the pad thai, also delicious. Definitely will be going back. This was on 10/4/2023.

Thai Noodle Soup and Tomyum soup: these are by far the most bland, non seasoned, flavorless broth I've ever tasted. IDK if this is because it's a take out so you guys do this that bad. But never again have their soups

One of the worst restaurant. We ordered 2 items and veg fried rice was too dry and without any test and on top they charged 18% gratuity for nothing. I do not recommend this place as there are better thai places nearby..thank you.

The food here is amazing and this is actually one of my favorite restaurants due to the quality of their food and amazing taste. I come here often and I even have introduced about 6 different groups of people to this place because thats how much I really love the food here! Other than the food being great, this place needs to introduce new waiters and waitresses because they are not always the most friendliest or welcoming. They seem to treat a certain demographic better than others. Last time I came here, I was rushed to leave in the middle of eating because they were closing for lunch time and they were kind of rude about it. I didnt see them doing this with the family sitting across from us. One of the guys working there was making eye contact and laughing. This place adds an automatic 18% gratuity to the bill and asks for additional tipping which sucks because their service isnt that great. I will say that the owner is great and he really takes care of his customers.

I've been going here for a very long time. Food is awesome. But lately my last two visits I noticed that they are charging you 18% gratuity (and we're table for two). I have no problem with that but it would be nice to know before hand hence we are not tipping twice because they don't give you an itemized receipt when they bring your card back after the charge. I still give this place a 4 but please fix that concern.

We passed this place often and finally tried! We were very pleased with our food but above all the SERVICE! Everyone was so kind and attentive. It was a friendly atmosphere with the staff greeting regulars often. It was clean and bright. Will definitely be returning. 🫶🏽

The greatest Thai food in the country. Every curry dish is bursting with spices and flavor, quantity is also on point . Every noodle dish is also superb. Papaya salad and mango sticky rice are also a must try. Been coming here weekly for the past 2 years

6/16/2023 update: ordered red curry takeout. There was no curry and all vegetables. My rice was dry. I ordered it medium spicy but there was no spice at all. Worst part is I drove 20 minutes to pick up my food. I don’t live close by at all.

This was my first time ordering food from Thai Siam. I was a huge fan of Thai Pepper in Montrose, but they closed down last year. I didn’t realize it has the same owners. I had the crab meat cheese rolls, pad Thai Bangkok with chicken, pepper steak, and yellow chicken curry. My favorite dish was the curry. The crab cheese rolls were not what I expected, but they were good. Very large portions for the price. I will definitely order from here again.

I was looking for Halal Thai restaurant and google given me this restaurant , i saw reviews and people are claiming its Halal, when i saw in menu they are serving Pork,
So my request to those muslim mentioning its halal pls review menu 1st

The website mentions the restaurant closes at 3pm. We were there at 2:20pm and we were told it already closed. If you close early please update so that we don’t make a trip and be asked to leave.

Delicious and affordable lunch. At 12:30pm on a Thursday it was only about half full. I had the basil chicken lunch special which was very good, but not as spicy as I would have liked even though I ordered medium. Previously I've had the Pad Thai and enjoyed it. It came with nice pieces of chicken and shrimp. Most lunch specials are $9 and come with a small egg roll and small salad. Service was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely come back.

The food isn't what it used to be. Most of the dishes were not flavored enough. Dont order the shrimp claypot, the clear rice was flavorless.

I do not like this place, the food was not good and the price was high. The bug landed on our food and we barely ate our food and the owner said she can’t control the bug situation as it came from outside like seriously who says that? It’s your property and you are responsible. The customer service was really bad. I usually don’t say it but I do not recommend this place. Not to mention that we got our food, and didn’t like a few dishes and asked that it be sent back, the waiter told us that we will still be charged for it when we only took one bite. We were okay with that, until the bug came and the whole fiasco went down.
