You are missing out if you don’t come through. Pad Thai was delicious, and red curry was the best I’ve had since before covid. Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent. The waitress had a friendly demeanor and provided recommendations to us as well, and felt homely. The chef came and checked on us and made sure we liked the food. He was very humble and kind.

Everything was delicious, great service, great food. We had a really good experience. The portions are huge and definitely shareable! We had the fried rice, egg rolls, cheese rolls, general tso chicken and noodles. Can’t explain enough how good and fresh the food was. My daughter wanted to try the Boba, and I’m so glad we did! Whole family ordered one after trying hers. 100% recommend. ❤️

Their appetizers were really good I tried the sampler that included most of the appetizer items. I loved the presentation and the dripping sauce were on point good sweet and sour sauce and peanut sauce they let us know everything is made in house (7.9/10)

I tired the Drunken noodles with beef it was excellent ask for mid spicy and make sure to try with beef(8.2/10)

We also had the Sesame chicken good portions fresh vegetables and tender meat (7.5/10)
My wife really liked it personally I thought the veggies could be more cooked but I’m sure u can ask for that

Sneaky practices. Ordered them two days ago for halal food and was trying to order again through DoorDash. Called the restaurant and lady said to order through them instead because it’ll be cheaper. Once I told her I’ll continue ordering through DoorDash instead of her on the phone since it’s cheaper, she ‘closed’ the restaurant on DoorDash so we couldn’t order our dinner

I got the TERIAKI CHICKEN , it comes on a bed of VERMACELLI, ABSOLUTELY FINGER LICKNG GOOD!! They give you a good helping, no need for appetizer. Everything is freshly cooked so when it gets to your table it is HOT ( in temperature ). I asked for no spicy. I got a small bowl of TOM YUM SOUP with shrimp, also very good. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!! Very clean restaurant.

My man and I are always looking for new spots to eat and I'd have to say this one is a little gem. There was only one car parked out front so we were a little skeptical at first but we were super hungry so we went in .. we started with appetizers and I would recommend the cheese rolls. Our server was also the lady cooking for us as it was a slow Monday night.. I ordered the pad thai and my man ordered the beef and broccoli, both were so good and service was great. I even got a Taro bubble tea and really enjoyed it! We will be back here to eat for sure!

Came to San Antonio as tourist. This place is halal and has a lot of variety of authentic Thai cuisine. I loved the Tom yom and the drunken noodles. Definitely will visit again next time.

Updated: I can’t stop coming to this place. The Tiger Tear steak is the best halal steak you can find, so flavorful. Have also tried the pan seared salmon, cooked perfectly and so many delicious flavors!

Original review: I love this place, super friendly, best Thai food I’ve had in San Antonio, all the meat is halal, great desserts. I’ve tried the Penang Curry, Thai Noodles Curry, which were both just amazing. The pad Thai really is the best in SA, full of flavor unlike some others I’ve had that are a little dry or bland. It’s a wonderful family that runs it and I’m excited to make this place one of my regular go to spots!

I rarely leave reviews, this is actually only my second review in about 10 years.
The food here was absolutely delicious. We had the Pad Mee-medium spice and the Bun Combo-medium spice. And the lunch crowd wasn’t bad at all.

Drunken noodles and seared ahi tuna were excellent. Desert mango rice was amazing that ate half before taking the picture.

Be sure to ask for aromatics! Pad Thai does not come with any

Had the Thai Ginger Fried Rice while on lunch break, was very delicious! Also had the Thai Sampler and was very good for appetizers. Love how they give you a choice of spice level for each meal. 3 was the perfect spice for someone that loves spicy food with it being overbearing. We came in for lunch and the service was very fast! We ordered drinks, appetizers, and meals all at once and everything was out promptly. I ordered something a little complicated and no questions were asked, and everything was done correctly. The panang curry was DELICIOUS, that is exactly what i wanted when i ordered it!! I also tried my friends fried rice, amazing as well, and lemon grass chicken, everything was so good, i would definitely recommend

I highly recommend coming here. Every dish we had was fantastic. We started with the appetizer sampler which was amazing! Then we got the red curry with chicken, lemongrass and garlic with chicken and the ginger fried rice. We all tried eachothers dish and we're so surprised how delicious everything was. Looking unimpressive from the outside, I finally stopped in to try the food and was blown away. I had some sushi and Thai noodles with shrimp. Really interesting selections on the menu, the food was fresh and delicious, and the service was good. If you are looking for a healthy alternative to pub food I highly recommend Tasty Thai.

Found this place by accident when my plane got delayed and landed late… all other restaurants i normally go to were closed, and Im glad!!! found this new favorite authentic place. Great food and good taste. Not super fancy but very clean, organized, friendly and accommodating hosts

I travel all over the US and eat Thai whenever I can at all the big and small towns. I just had the best Thai ever and the curry was the best Thai curry I have ever had. New favorite!

We could not enjoy the food because the man took our order and served us stinking of cigarette smoke and the woman washed the floor with Lysol as we were eating. Luckily, we took home the leftovers, which is when we were finally able to taste the good food.

Upon entering the restaurant at 9:15, the man behind the counter asked if I was Togo. I said no I didn't have an order in, but I knew what I wanted. I always get green curry at Thai restaurants. It's my favorite.

So I ordered it and he said it would 5 minutes. Seems fast, but then again I didn't get any meat, only veggies. I paid him and went in my car to eat since I didn't want to keep them from closing by eating inside. This photo is what I got for $15... A soup with barely any veggies. I went back in and said it's not worth the money, so he added more veggies to it. I don't know how it was ready so fast... He fixed it, but imagine if I had ordered with a third party and couldn't go back inside.

Do with this info what you will, but I will not be going back.

This used to be my number one place to go. They asked me to leave a review and I left a five star review with pictures and a lot of compliments. They remembered me and always smiled when I came! One time I ordered five eggrolls and pad Thai and I got charged about $70. They sent 25 eggrolls. They claimed I said 5 orders of 5 eggrolls. After asking for a refund they said no and that it was my fault ordering it wrong. They were extremely mean and didn’t apologize or anything. I was so sad because I loved that place. About a month later, today, I decided to give it another go and it didn’t go well. I called and ordered pad Thai and miso soup, then I called a minute later to change the soup since I ordered wrong, and they told me no. They said it was already made and I couldn’t change it. I asked to cancel the soup from my order and they said no again since it was already made. I don’t know what soup is made within a couple minutes. So sad that I lost my favorite place all because of bad service and rude workers.

So I happened into Tasty Thai after a trip to a nursery on a "mental health day". I ordered the green thai Curry and requested the heat at a 4(I like it spicy!). It was perfect! Hima waited on me and she was courteous and efficient without hovering. The music was low and spa-like- very relaxing. They even had a TV screen playing lovely nature videos. A perfect quiet lunch! I certainly will return. I was also informed they changed management 2 years ago. I recall this place from longer ago than that and back then it was not memorable. What a wonderful improvement!

Uber eats order- Sent the wrong order. Called to let Them know and they hung up on me. Ordered a chicken Tom Ka soup and got shrimp instead. A large soup had 2 shrimps, no veggies.

Excellent food!! Had the pad thai with shrimp and my son had the pineapple rice with chicken, and both were fantastic. Portions were large and the meal was served quickly. Wasn't much service except the very basics of taking our order (drinks and food together), delivering food to the table, then the check even though it was slow, but they were friendly. Would have liked more spice, they asked what level we wanted, but gave us white people spice level 5 when we wanted Asian spice level 5 haha.

i ran an errand nearby and stopped to buy lunch for our work lunch. Ordered the pad thai and the pad woodsen to go from the lunch menu. Saw while i waited for the dishes to be prepared how clean the restaurant was. the hostess declared with confidence that we would enjoy our lunch. my coworker and i noted that portion was larger than we expected and tasted delicious due to the aluminum foil they put in the takeout container keep the food warm.

overall, we were pleased with the food and the service and when we are near, we will stop to eat.

Second time here with toddlers and it was great. The service was friendly. I asked for the kids Thai noodles my boys love it! I also asked for a recommendation and she mentioned the drunken noodles which were fantastic! I have tried the curry before too and it was really good too. Gotta try it!

This is my new favorite Thai place! The food was delicious and steaming hot when it came out. I can’t wait to come back next time so I can try more dishes! I even ordered an entree to go so I can eat it for lunch tomorrow!

I’ve been waiting for halal Thai cuisine to be here since I moved here in 2019. The pad thai was delicious, I got it with medium spice and it was perfect. The atmosphere was great and the staff was awesome. Will be back!

Let me start with a positive- the food was delicious! Maybe if I’d picked up my order I’d be happier. Dining in was not a good experience. My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant. The waiter/host/cashier talked loudly on his phone the entire time we were there, pausing only to take our order. He was so loud and annoying, but the flying bugs were even more annoying. As soon as the food arrived, we were swarmed. I couldn’t keep the large gnat-like creatures away. Do yourself a favor and place a to-go order!

Everything was delicious, great service, great food. We had a really good experience. The portions are huge and definitely shareable! We had the fried rice, egg rolls, cheese rolls, general tso chicken and noodles. Can’t explain enough how good and fresh the food was. My daughter wanted to try the Boba, and I’m so glad we did! Whole family ordered one after trying hers. 100% recommend. ❤️

Took a shot at our 1st Thai restaurant and so glad we chose here. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. Had the Thai Sampler, Chicken Pad Mee and Chicken General TSO. They'll make 'em as spicy as you want and had plenty of leftovers. Wait staff was courteous and prompt. Dining area was very clean and comfortable. Women's restrooms were immaculate (according to my better half) and she hardly ever gives out that rating. Looking forward to our next visit!

This place HITS! The freshest spring rolls I've ever had and finally a peanut sauce that has flavor!! The dumplings were so delicious and crispy, just the prefect crunch to them! The Pho I got...this reminded me of my college days when I first discovered Pho the restaurant sadly closed down, but Tasty Thai reminded me of the Pho I specifically fell in love with! To the exact flavor and everything!! The service was very quick and efficient. They were so welcoming! This place is a must try!!

Best Thai restaurant in San Antonio! I have eaten many things here and everything is 100%. The people are so nice, too. They really appreciate their customers and just want people to enjoy everything… which is easy because it’s soooooo good!!

Ordered pad thai through grub hub. Requested medium spice and no peanuts, both instructions were ignored. Portion size was abysmally small compared to other thai restaurants in area. Flavor is bland. Overall sad experience for the 18$ I paid for a noodle dish. Would not order again

This place is great! They have a diverse menu and everything we ordered was delicious. The service is wonderful as well, Hima was very friendly and helpful! Definitely try the pot stickers!
