Whole experience was great! Staff was very friendly, and service was so fast. Portion size of the main dish was enough to share along with a starter. Pad Kee Mao was absolutely delicious! Vegetables tasted fresh and weren’t soft or mushy. Thai dumplings were tasty, and the chili vinegar soy sauce they serve alongside is seriously to die for. So good! Will definitely be back to try more.

I ordered the chicken spring rolls as an appetizer and had also ordered the Yellow Curry with Beef and fried rice. If I knew the main dish was going to be so big I would not have ordered the spring rolls. Both were good, the Yellow Curry was by far one of the best I’ve ever had at a Thai restaurant, lots of meat and vegetables and it was a good amount of food. Great overall experience!

The food I received wasn’t as advertised. I asked for crispy chicken roll, I got vegetable instead. I asked for green curry fried rice, spicy (hot)… this isn’t green curry at all. This is plain fried rice and it wasn’t spicy whatsoever. It looks NOTHING like the picture I saw online. It seems like they just rushed my order so that they could leave on time. I’m very disappointed!

It's not your total full on service restaurant , you go to the counter and order and they will bring it to your table. Smaller capacity , however , very clean place including the bathroom! Staff are very friendly and the service was quick in terms of serving our food . I wanted Tom yum soup and it didn't disappoint. My husband ordered the cashew chicken , he devoured the whole place , he said the taste reminded him of Thailand. We had sweet sticky rice for dessert . The mango was really sweet and the coconut sauce was very creamy with the right amount of sweetness. I would say it's an authentic Thai restaurant and I can't wait to go back there again and try the other food items .

Trying to find another place for a quick dinner and I keep coming back to Tahn Thai. Been there a dozen times now and did is consistent good, service is personal and attentive, and the price is good, too. When I search the area, nothing else compares. So it's Tahn Thai again tonight.

We are regulars here. My favorites are the citrus chicken, the Tom kha soup and the won ton soup. The flavors are amazing and the meat is never chewy which is a problem with other Thai places I’ve tried. Absolutely love.

First time trying this little spot. We sampled 8 things off the menu and every one of them was spot on— very flavorful and true to their Thai roots. The khao soi was exactly as it’s served in Chiang Mai and all their other noodle/curry dishes were amazing. The staff was attentive and kind. 5 stars!

Ordered takeout, since you can tell a lot about a place based on whether their takeout is good or not. Let me just say this is the best red curry I’ve had in a while. I got the version with pineapple and tomato. This curry is DELICIOUS. I got mine with tofu and was blown away by how good the tofu was!! The curry was rich and flavorful. This is a vegetarian friendly restaurant.

First time to visit Tahn Tai, and our experience was very positive. You order at the counter, take a seat, then your food is brought out to you when ready. The prices seemed very reasonable, especially for the main entrees.

We shared an order of spring rolls as an appetizer. These were vegetarian (contained no shrimp or other protein), but were still very good, with mint and other fresh herbs. They were served with a lovely peanut sauce.

I ordered Pad Kee Mao, my usual, and the dish was delicious, plus the serving size was very generous. My wife ordered Pad See Ew, and loved her dish as well.

The ladies who took our order and brought out our food were very friendly and polite. It was a great find for us, and we eagerly plan to return. Will try one of the curries next time.

Lily is an amazing owner! The basil fried rice is my favorite. Pineapple curry is the perfect balance of sweet and heat. The springrolls and shrimp rolls are crispy and yummy. I came here with my friend to work on college applications and ordered the veggie springs rolls not once but twice because of how scrumptious they were. Not only was the food good but so was the water! I am very particular about my water and I was not disappointed. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve been to over 30 different Thai restaurants & this one ranks top 3 consistently. My wife & I order from here often & we have never been disappointed. I do agree, if you’re going to order a protein, the meat tends to not be soft so avoid that protein option. I order the Pad Kee Mao with chicken & it’s freaking incredible every single time. My wife absolutely loves the Pad Thai. The appetizers are always fantastic as well. My only bad “review” is on my to go orders. Tip is earned via good service not just for placing an order. I feel like people get offended to not get tipped just for doing their job lol. Maybe one day I’ll dine in & pay a good tip but I literally live in walking distance that prob won’t happen. Always a great experience as the taste of the food we order has been consistent. The Pad woon Sen is comfort food for me. The Tom kha soup has an amazing flavor. The sweet Sticky Rice was a great combination of warm rice with sweet coconut milk and with cool Mango makes it sweet and smooth finish.

Very friendly service here and everything we tried was delicious -- sampler appetizer, crab fried rice, and Spicy Basil noodles. Portion sizes are huge -- made 3 meals of crab fried rice! Looking forward to trying out some other dishes next time.

Tastes home-made, not like some other places I've tried that use pre-packaged sauces and frozen appetizers. I got the pad kee mow and the flavors were spot on. Also tried the pork and shrimp dumplings, which were the best dumplings I've ever had.

I looked at the reviews and wanted to satisfy my craving for Thai food, but I was fully disappointed with the taste. We ordered Thai cashew fried rice and kids' noodles. The fried rice was bland; it was just rice mixed with some ingredients that didn't taste like Thai food at all. The kids' noodles were flat noodles with a large amount of oil but no flavor. None of us liked the food.

The food here was very good. We tried the Pad Thai and Yellow Curry. The pad thai was "hot" and did pack a little punch. I traditionally love spicy food and the "hot" level was perfect. Hottest would probably have been too much. The yellow curry was mild which had no spice and on the sweeter side. Otherwise the flavor was good (recommend the medium to cut sweetness).

Stopped by on a whim one weekday and was so glad we tried this place. I normally get Thai food closer to my office because there’s no place nearby that I really like. This place was fantastic!

BEST Thai food I can remember having. We tried the shrimp pork dumplings, veggie spring rolls, summer rolls- every appetizer came out scalding hot and yummy. Entrees were panang chicken curry and Thai basil fried rice. So good I could have cried because I was too full to finish it. The atmosphere was also super light and attractive and the staff were very nice and very fast bringing the food out. We just happened across this while in town but we will be driving back (2hrs) for this again.
*edit: back 4 weeks later, this time for carry out as we were traveling on to Dallas proper. Still my favorite Thai food.

Not bad for fast food. I use the word "fast food" because it didn't take the usual 20 to 25 minutes for the food to be delivered. It was well presented and had great flavors. All you can ask for in food. Topped off with some coconut ice cream and the meal was complete. Drinks are in a cold case behind the counter, so no fountain drinks available. Mostly Coke products along with so water, carbonated and still, as well as Dr. Pepper.

Solid Thai food that is close to home. Win win for me.

I rarely write reviews but I live in Dallas and struggle to find a Thai place within the city proper I can justify spending money on. It is my most cherished comfort meal. My favorites are Silver Thai in Allen and Texas Thai in Arlington, this one has been immediately added to the LOVE list. If you’re in the area you won’t go wrong stopping in for lunch. Do yourself a favor. The curry is incredible and I haven’t tried the pineapple curry yet but it will be my next order.

I wish I could have gotten a refund. I ordered "mild/no spice" and what I received you could smell the heat before even tasting it. Upon trying it my mouth was on fire and my lips tingles and swelled a lil. I was so disappointed because I was very hungry. However since I was in a rush and didn't try it until I got home, I was unable to return the restaurant to get a refund. I threw the food away due to the overly spiciness so it was a waste of money.

The Tahn Thai Citrus Beef is also a favorite.
The Spring rolls, chicken Satay and peanut sauce are all true gourmet.
I’ve had a lot of Thai food from a lot of different places but Tahn Thai beats them all.
Only 3 stars for atmosphere so take out if you need to.

The best wonton soup around. 2nd time ordering Chicken Pad Thai. I added extra shrimp for $3 & received 3 medium shrimp. The sauce is on the sweeter side. It's good. The lady taking your order on the phone & at the counter is very friendly. Looking forward to trying some new items next time.

Some how felt disappointed with food. We go often for Thai restaurants buy this restaurant can improve seems like newly setup. I asked for Jasmin tea, got with a tea bag Jasmin flavored.
Pineapple curry is not think n was served with less coconut milk mixture.
