I have never ever given a 1 star EVER. Unfortunately this is my first time having to use my one star rating. The wife and I were in the mood for some Chinese food. Our regular spot is closed on Tuesdays and tried this place a shot. Welp the orange chicken is soggy like the style you buy at Walmart in the frozen section. The noodles well they were pasty and really bad. We also had the spring roll which it was ok but the peanut sauce was horrible. Overall I don’t think I will go back again, ever. I can’t speak for any other food this is based on the food we ordered. We ended up making sandwiches at home.

The owner is a very nice guy, seeing him there and saying hi is a part of the experience, and the receptionist/waitress I always see is a very accommodating and sweet. I’ve been going there for about 6 years now, consistently excellent food and service!

Great meal! Quiet location with quick service. Food was a good sized portion and very flavorful. Just the right amount of spice and came our fresh and hot. We will visit again. Try the pad thai and hot sour soup. So good!

I normally go in during the afternoon in the midst of the week. I’ve been in several times and have eaten several dishes as well as sushi rolls and its always delicious. Its about the going rate on price and the staff is always friendly.

So their website shows that closed at 9 pm and I walk in at 8:30 pm they said I can’t dine in and he was rushing me to place my order to go, they should just said that closes at 8:30

Ordered (3) Pad Kee Mows with Chicken and we were immediately disappointed on the first bite. The flavor was bland compared to other restaurants and the quality of the chicken was disappointing. The portions were very generous; however, this was not a factor because it was a struggle to eat the food.

Our first time to visit this restaurant & we enjoyed our dinner very much. We don't live in near this restaurant, but we will be back. Great service, quiet atmosphere, terrific food & more. We got all the way home & discovered my husband lost his wallet. He had no idea where it was lost. We retraced everywhere he had gone & he lost it at this restaurant. They did not have to say they found it, but they were honest enough to say they had it. It really restores faith in society when we see people do the right thing. Thank you so very much for saving my husband the ordeal of replacing his DL & canceling credit cards, etc.

The customer service has and always been great ,I was greeted and I can seat anywhere.
Food was delicious with plenty of chicken , veggies and rice , tempura my favorite,fried to perfection.

I ordered Lo Mein to go. They are always friendly and the atmosphere is okay. I should've checked my order before I left the restaurant. The food looked like slop. The noodles were mushy and the flavor was all one note. This place used to be a go to but not anymore. This isn't the first bad meal I wasted my money on. It went in the trash.

When I was in the tummy of my mother, she would always go here and get the delicious fried rice. After I was born, this was always my favorite restaurant and fell in love with its rice. My mother then told me the story and the rest was history. it’s been 20 years.

The One More Roll on the sushi menu was fresh and flavorful!! I always get the Pineapple Curry with shrimp and it is a delight every time.

I am just here to recommend the Hot and Sour soup if you like the dish. Everything else I have tried is tasty, but the soup is the reason that makes me crave this place. My order is always on time for pick up.

This place had such amazing food! The service was incredible. One of the meals we ordered unfortunately had dye in it and we didn't realize it, but the sever brought us another dish for our daughter. We loved everything, we had several dishes and soup, I wish we lived closer. We will definitely go again. Thank you Simply Asia for such a beautiful experienc, we haven't had such good service in a long time, you truly made the evening memorable.

In response to the reply you can there is coconut milk but there is no taste of ANY and there was NO basil regardless what my personal preference is. My preference is add the ingredients listed. Also use red curry instead of chili powder. Worst Thai food around. I literally just through it down the garbage disposal. I picked up my order of red coconut currie. It's list of Ingredients are bamboo shoots, bell pepper, basil. While serving I could not find a single solitary basil leave or shred of a piece. The taste was devastating there was absolutely no coconut milk and no basil and tasted like it was made with chili powder and not curry powder. I tried them several years ago and ordered tom ka soup which is no longer on their menu and for good reason. I don't know how their Chinese is but their Thai sucks! You can't even call it thai.

Friendly server. Food over priced for dinner. Looks like a lunch portion and not fresh. Vegetables were not vibrant in color. Vegetables were soft and soggy. Looked like they cooked with frozen vegetables to stir fry. I do not recommend. I couldn't eat it and sent it back. Saddest Thai food ever!

I been eating since it was Ho China. I drive 13 miles to eat here . But today probably last time several times food been dry no flavor not same restaurant. Today I ordered orange chicken bed of broccoli this is what the menu says. Well I got non glossy dry looking chicken and four small decorative broccolis. Chicken fried rice. And two egg rolls bill was over $30 which I don't mind paying but not for bad food.

We had the chicken fried rice, miso, spicy tuna and California roll, green tea ice cream and Thai milk tea. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The staff was really helpful and attentive. Great place, not too pricy.

Unfortunately not the best flavor or quality of sushi. Checked out this spot because of the distance from home compared to normal spot off camp wisdom. Will not make that choice again, for the 5/10 min difference in driving it'll be worth going elsewhere. May have caught this place on an off day, but food did not taste right.

The Tom Khä soup is very flavorful and a must.

Pad Thai portions are generous. Adding shrimp is a great decision.

Debra loves the Bento boxes, while am a fan of the sushi and curries.

The sticky rice with mango or the fried banana are both great choices for dessert.

If you are accompanying someone to the Home Depot in Grand Prairie, this restaurant is just around the corner; and could make the trip wortwhile.

Oh, theyvalso offer lunch combination speciaks that will make the experience more agfordable.

My mom and stepfather took me out for Thai never having been to any Thai restaurants around the South Dallas area so we went to Simply Asia. The food was flavorful, but lacked spice. The waitress never asked if we wanted it spicy or mild. When going out for Thai food we are used to being asked how spicy we like it, or given a number scale that gauges our spice preferences. I had Tom Kha and the Seafood Salad. The soup seemed to be watered down and the seafood was overcooked just enough that it was a little tough and chewy. I was also surprised that the salad came with iceberg lettuce. I asked about having Spring Mix instead and that was not even so.ething they offered.

To say the least, we were not impressed.

Simple the best sushi restaurant in Grand praire, Asian Thai & Chinese. Quality fish , great service. Very clean. 16 pieces sushi plater, Miso soup and white steam rise. Great Japanese soda drink very refreshing.

I found hair in my food. I took it back and got a refund but they didn’t even seem to care. Not even an apology. Will not be going back!

This place is not a place to frequent if you are expecting something spectacular. If you want a dark place to hang out with bland food, this is your spot.

It was okay. I'm really surprised how many places do not clean the front door. I would expect most businesses and especially a restaurant to consider that their first impression. It's hard for me to get over that once I'm there.

Purchased the Angel Roll and Marylin Mon Roll. Both rolls were $17.95 rolls. The flavor was good, however the quantity recieved for the price was ridiculous. If you are ok with paying a high price for the taste then this is good. I personally have eaten the same quality at may different locations around the USA with nearly twice the quantity. We also ordered large eggdrop soup and wonton soup, which come with fried noodles. The amount of noodles provided filled, maybe a quarter of the bag. Again, significantly less than most resterants provide with their soups.
This is the second and last time we will eat here, if they do not adjust the quantity served at that $17.95 price.

Great restaurant! I had the pad woon sen which was amazing and consistent with what I’ve had at most thai restaurants :) Service was awesome!! I requested a few things be removed from the dish and that it be made a bit hot and the chefs and server definitely delivered!! Was my friends first time trying thai food and she was very pleased by the garlic tofu dish she got in addition to the sushi she got which she said is consistent with most sushi places she’s been! Definitely recommend for those in the area!!! Great prices, atmosphere, and service. :)

Came here with my mom and it wad just perfect. Bento boxes were perfect for lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive without hovering. The food was fresh and tasty. They were happy to make slight adjustments to the rolls for an ingredient I didn't like. We will definitely be back!

The inside has a nice atmosphere but is a bit small and that's okay because it seems like they do a lot of take-out. With that being said, they were on the ball with getting food out on time for inside despite having a bunch of to-go orders.

The last time I tried Simply Asia was when they opened many years ago. I was not impressed then. I have to say they have improved a lot. Today I tried the crab wonton, Tom kha soup, simply pad Thai, and spicy Thai basil. The crab wontons tasted great and were not lacking filling. The tom kha soup was not bad but could have used more coconut, lemongrass, and lime. The spicy Thai basil with chicken was very good. The simply pad thai was pretty good as well. It is nice to see a place offer pad Thai without noodles. The sauce could have been a bit thicker but it was still really nice. Overall, everything was good and I will eat there again.

Ordered take out in my experience and had to wait ~10 minutes after arriving within the timeframe they provided. In my mind, the food didn’t impress my taste buds but perhaps it was an off day or I had higher expectations.

We ordered the Tom Kha Soup (coconut soup) and Pad Thai. The cabbage in the soup was brown, but the soup was tasty. The pad thai seemed to lack flavor.

It wasn't what I anticipated the service was great the food was okay. The food wasn't hot there was only two tables, 6 people in the place. Food could have been better.

I had the seafood curry and it was amazing. To top that off, it was free. Well, actually a very nice lady paid for my meal and thanked me for my service. That was the 1st time in my 18 years of service that anyone paid for my meal. I'm eternally grateful. I'll be back next month (for the food)

Not quite sure if I just went on a bad day, but my food was overcooked and had a funky burnt taste. I am not local and chose the place instead of the many chains in the area in the hope that I would not get something ordinary. I feel like I made a mistake.
