Solid Thai food place! The pad Thai was great!! I got the level 2 spice and it was honestly a good start. Next time I’ll go up. My gf got the drunken noodles and those were phenomenal! I highly recommend the drunken noodles. The dumplings are great! Don’t get them fried, I think it tastes better when they are steamed, but to each their own. The atmosphere was is nice and great for a date night.

Had came here a long time ago and was not very impressed. My mom and I visited the restaurant again recently and ordered the pad keemow and minced chicken best Thai dish. Both were delicious and they must have changed the pad keemow recipe because it tasted so much better! The sauce was yummy and had plenty of flavor. We had also ordered a tom kha, which was decent but not as good as some other Thai spots.

These guys maintain the taste ,service, and atmosphere after the pandemic, which is rare. We ordered a variety of items from pad Thai, tom yum soup, best thai curry, basil fried rice, shrimp curry, and ice teas. Everything was on par with the best thai restaurants

We went to Best Thai for their amazing gluten free options. They had so many gluten free options that were not plain and bland like other places. They also had many options for entrees for picky eaters. We loved their Ice Cream Macaroon’s. I would recommend there cookies and cream one. I would highly recommend this place especially if you’re gluten free or have any allergies.

If you’re a person of color and want to experience racism, this is the place to go. The waiter was rude, repeatedly asked stereotypical questions, and even took the menu away while we were still ordering. Me and family are so offended we had to walk away. Absolutely unacceptable.

The food was quite amazing, especially their red curry. Portion size is huge! The place has a kind of smell which might be offputting to some vegetarians. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

I did a take out today. Food was okay but service was horrible lady on the phone didn’t listen to my order properly she was in so much rush, messed up the order on valentine day. She called another person to take order who didn’t listen to my order properly either took my card number charged it and kept the phone without acknowledging if the order is received, how long it will take for it to get ready, nothing.On top it card was charged twice.

Got a to-go pad ka prow and the vegetables are so watery like they’ve been frozen. Whole dish is bland and pad ka prow is usually my favorite at Thai places.

the Khao Soi dish lacked a dash of sweetness and in turn caused the spice to overshadow the delicate dish. In future making a bit more of sweet coconut cream would do wonders to the dish.

Love this place and the food is 5 stars. Their biggest downfall is the atmosphere because of the table layout. There's so many Uber eats drivers coming in here and they have terrible manners like watching videos loudly on their phone or having speakerphone conversations. If you end up sitting near the back you'll have people standing and hovering around your table waiting for to go orders too. If they took the time to a somehow corral all of this it would result in a much more pleasant dining experience. I hope they read this and consider this feedback.

Pineapple curry was delicious. My daughter liked her Yellow curry, too. My husband loves Panang curry but this was not his favorite.

Best Thai food I've had so far in Texas. After moving from Northeast, its been a struggle finding good options, but they are consistently delicious.

Reasonable Thai food at reasonable prices. The items we purchased were not super amazing but we're still pretty good. I like the ability to adjust how spicy things are. They did have some difficulty getting our orders together. They did seem to be confused about our take home leftovers. They took them away to package them up and then seemed to have forgotten about them until we asked again.
Portion size is pretty good for the price is paid. Due to the location, you may need to park a little bit of distance away but there does seem to be ample parking within a block

Stingy with napkins. Not sure what that's all about. 20% tip is added to your bill (for average service).

Food was just so so...nothing to brag about..this review is reflective of the PRICE! They got rid of lunch portions and pricing and now the dishes are avg $20 a plate. The fried wonton is gross with ground up chicken in it. It cost us $55 for a simple lunch, no drinks. The meal was at best a $12 plate. We won't be back.

This is a great place located right around Frisco Square. The staff is always extremely friendly and quick to help. The service has always been very quick and the food is always very good. We like our spicy so if you like spicy, make sure you get level five.

Had bad experience with the desert menu. No remorse when pointed out the problem. I wish they would have been kind to acknowledge as this outlet tuned to be my family member's favorite spot for soul food and had an embarrassment. The service was OK, the food tasted OK, I would still look for other Thai options in the neighborhood.

Food quality was very average. This restaurant has become like another chain restaurants that charges $15 for the dish. I ordered curry fried rice, it was very oily and the quantity was very less for the price. The crab Rangoon was microwaved but not fully, part of the stuffing was cold and part of it was warm. Have been to this restaurant a few times but this time it was disappointing. recently they took down the kids menu and chicken fried rice that I ordered was also greasy.. wasn’t satisfied with the food today.

I've been a customer for over 3 years and I really loved the place. Today, I placed a to go order and when I got there to pick it up, I noticed that the place wasn't particularly full. I asked if I could eat my to-go order there and I was told that "to-go orders are for to-go only", so I could not eat in restaurant. Not only was this rude, but definitely not customer friendly. If they wanted to lose my business, they won today.

We waited a long time for our food to come out, which was frustrating. Then, halfway through eating, the staff kept coming by repeatedly to ask if they could take our plates, making us feel rushed. It was hard to enjoy the meal with that kind of pressure. Overall, not a great experience.

Best Thai is exactly that, the best thai food in the northern DFW suburbs. My go-to here is the Best Thai Spicy Chicken, Thai chicken fried rice, and Mango sticky rice.

Best Thai is absolutely delicious! It’s consistent every time and I love that they ask you what spice level you prefer. Highly recommend the Thai Style Lo Mein Noodle with beef. I crave it all the time!

What the heck did I just eat? Water down Tom Kha, the owner should be fired. How is this even Thai food, this is the worst thai food in all DFW. I'm not going to talk about the entrees. Salty and tasteless. Absolutely a shame to the Thai community and the workers there. The only thing that was normal was the Edamane but its a bit overcooked too.

Our favorite Thai restaurant, in a nice convenient location. Thai lager beer is also available, which is a nice bonus. Heat level 8 (Thai Hot) is the real deal!

Those yellow curry puff appetizers, outstanding. The outer dough is like a an empanada meets a croissant. The Chix curry mix is brilliant. Will definitely have that again. My kid said it might be on her top ten food list ever.

Pad Thai-I've had about 10 local restaurants worth of chicken pad Thai. This one is now our favorite. And they don't hold back on the quality and quantity of the meet and veggies.

The green curry with chicken - spicy. Brilliant flavor. Not sure how they can go to a level 8 when I had a 4 spicy. So good. Same as above, they don't skimp at all with the chix and veggies. Had it with the jasmine rice.

Both meals are 2-3 meals worth of food. We have a new household favorite for Thai.

We used to eat at this place until 3 years ago and we truly loved the food. But today, unfortunately it was opposite. Soup was nothing but salt water - Review is for Frisco location. Both Tom kha and Tom Yam. Tom kha was bearly touched but server didn’t even ask why. Fried rice was pretty much just boiled rice. I am sorry but this restaurant has left no choice but to rate one star due to worst food. We are Thai food lovers and this is one of worst experience we had. Please improve your food quality and try to get from worst to best Thai as per your name. Thank you!

Got the Ka-pow and the vegetable rolls and they were not good at all. The vegetables in the Ka-pow taste like they were frozen and the chicken alright. The sauce didn't taste like much anything at all either.

Always good! Fresh taste! Never a disappointment. Update 8-18-24. Went in yesterday for lunch and it has changed alot. Service was great at first. We ordered appetizers and our food and it all came out quickly and was not bad. Not what it used to be. Ordered dessert and it took longer to get 2 sticky rice than it did to get our drinks and meal. Come to find out the waitress didn't even put in the order and we sat there for 30 minutes before asking where the desserts were to be told she forgot. They were very quick to bring check and collect though. Been eating there for more than 10 years and never had that issue. We will try again one day cause I do love the food there but hoping it's better

I went there today to try it for the first time and I have a mixed opinion on it. To start out the good qualities I will say the server I had today was excellent. Extremely respectful, very attentive , and extremely patient which a lot of resteruants lack. The food on the other hand wasn’t good at all. I started out with an order of Crab Rangoon , and I didn’t taste the crab at all. Which is fine because not every single Thai place will have great appetizers. I then ordered pad Thai and it was honestly not good at all.It was extremely sweet. To the point where I couldn’t eat it. Every other Thai place there Pad Thai isn’t sweet at all. I was very unimpressed .The shrimp wasn’t flavored at all and neither was the chicken. I was extremely upset that I had wasted 30 dollars.I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. But, the staff once again was very respectful!

Food was a bit of a disappointment. Chicken has weird texture and veggies are a bit under cooked. Sauce is meh. 🫤

The Red Curry was one of the best I ever had. The tofu quantity seemed a little less for a $15+ dish. Thai Fried Rice was good. Overall, the quantities of meat(tofu) & veggies within the dishes seemed little less for the price. Owner should consider this to maintain the goodwill they have.

I have lived in Frisco Square for over a year and almost feel guilty I haven't written a 5 star review for Best Thai yet. For years I have been looking for a good Thai place in North Texas and Best Thai takes the cake. Pad Thai is amazing and their Pad See Ew melts in your mouth, both excellent dishes. I did see one bad review about their egg rolls, and I couldn't disagree more. We get their egg rolls every time and have yet to have any complaints. They also crisp up great in the airfryer if you bring home left overs. Highly recommend Best Thai if your grabbing lunch or dinner in Frisco Square.

This is hands down my favorite place to eat for lunch when I work in Frisco! Legitimately, my coworkers know not to ask me where I want to go bc I will always say “best Thai” and anytime we get a new employee we ask if they like Thai food and if the answer is yes, we say “oh we know the best Thai place, it’s called Best Thai bc it’s the best.”

I always get the Chicken Thai Basil (Ka-Pow) and my closest coworker always gets the Bangkok special which is peanut chicken with broccoli. I normally get level 3 heat and it’s PERFECT. Sometimes spicier than others but even then is sooooo good.

If I wanna treat myself I get a Thai Tea and only take sips til I’m done eating bc it’s basically dessert.

Best Thai truly is the BEST. My wife had the Sesame Chicken and I had the Khao Soi. The Khao Soi was delicious, one of the best curry dishes I have ever had! For dessert we had Mango Sticky Rice, which was also delicious! We will be back!!

Went on mothers day, they were short staffed and busy. The food was good although they took some time to serve.

Update since last review. Have been back three times this year. I have to say the quality is back. We have tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Curry Noodles, and several Curry Dishes. All of which have been super tasty. I am so glad to rewrite this review as I have been gone from here for several years. The spice level can still get a little tricky and seems inconsistent, but overall, they have claimed back my preffed Thai restaurant in Frisco.

Best Thai used to be the place to go. Has been getting worse the last two times I visited. Ordered yesterday wife got spicy, and I got very spicy. Was very inconsistent on spice level. Mine was not even as spicy as my wife. The quality in food has not been as good either. I have visited twice this year. I am going to start to look for a new Thai place, sad to say.

This restaurant used to be my very favorite. When I lived 3 hours away I would still come visit just to eat here. I always recommended them and always ate here for any special event. That all changes today. The last time I ordered to go the food was so spicy I couldn’t eat it when I asked for mild and when I called to come exchange it for milder, the lady was extremely rude to me and basically accused me of trying to steal an extra meal. Then today as my mother’s day treat I ordered it from door dash at 5:07pm and now it’s 8:09pm over 3 hours later and my door dasher is still waiting for my order and when I called to ask for an ETA I was told sorry another 20-30 min. They gave zero f’s that the order was over 3 hours old. I’m so disappointed and will never order from them again even though I loved their food. Mother’s day treat is ruined.

Order was estimated at 2 hrs which seemed crazy but then when it reached an estimate of 3 hrs we called them. Said they hadn’t even started the food preparation. ‘Nothing they could do’ is what they said. Not good enough!! Never again. And this wasn’t the first time this has happened. We have ordered with them many times but the last time we get screwed around with this operation!

I had ordered ka-pow with the choice of fried rice and extra veggies and a separate order of fried rice. But I had been served with white/jasmine rice and also the extra veggies was missing 😟.. Hope they had paid more attention on the online order.

I've eaten from here for yrs,but would always get door dash. Today I sat inside. I was greeted, sat in the booth, and ordered my usual: Tom Kha soup, x2(Xtra spicy) shrimp w an eggroll.. it was so good. Great atmosphere, clean and the server, was super nice. I had a Corona to top it off and I left full and satisfied. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining at Best Thai in Addison during their happy hour and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The highlights were undoubtedly the appetizers and main courses. Starting with the fried pork belly appetizer, which was crispy on the outside while remaining succulently juicy inside, it set a high bar for the evening.

Ordered one entree (Thai fried rice) for takeout and waited for over an hour when the app said 25 min. Manager said oh well, you “only” ordered one entree, have a drink on us. So rude. Will never go back.

Didn’t like the food. There are definitely better Thai spots in Frisco/DFW adjacent. Wouldn’t recommend to my friends or family. However, the staff is respectable, welcoming, and cordial.

Love this place. This horrible couple nearby made such a stirr today but staff handled it perfectly. Food is always yummy and I can't wait to come back.

My recent visit to the best Thai restaurant was utterly disappointing. The food quality was subpar, and the staff displayed unacceptable rudeness, even showcasing instances of racism. I will not recommend this place to anyone, as the overall experience left me with a sense of discomfort and frustration. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior in what should be an enjoyable dining setting. I will not be returning to this establishment and advise others to explore alternative dining options for a more pleasant experience.

Good Thai food

My fiance and I love Best Thai. The Pad Kee Mow is our favorite, and the shrimp tempura is fenomenal. Service is always friendly and informative. There's a very cozy atmosphere about the place and the area it is in. It's nice to take a quick stroll in the area after dinner to walk off some of the carbs.

Food here is great and it will meet the expectations.

This has been the worst Thai restaurant in Frisco I have ever visited . They don’t treat with good hospitality. Stating from entering the door, getting water, order and exiting out, totally unfriendly experience to our family.

Had a great lunch here. Pad Thai with beef was fantastic. Solid service and friendly staff. Also enjoyed the fried calamari.

Calm, quiet location with great food. I ordered the spicy catfish with brown rice. Spicy level 1 is all I could handle. The small wonton soup was great. The servers were attentive.

We started with a tom yom soup. The fish sauce was over powering and the soup did not have any other flavor.
The pad kee mou had more soy sauce and it felt more salty.
The basil fried rice was very bland. We asked for a medium spice and it felt it was lower than mild spice. Overall not the best experience and I don’t think I’ll come back again.

During peak hours the restaurant does not have the capacity to serve everyone, they prioritize dine-in more than online orders, and on the rest of the days when it is not peak hour they work quickly, but for the rest they do not have what they need to be that type of restaurant, the staff, there are several that it has. an unpleasant personality, no matter how long they have been working there, they lack training and professionalism, as if they do not like serving people, they do not deserve to be in a place as important as downtown Frisco, with many things missing to be a restaurant of high category, sorry for being so direct, but the restaurant gives a lot to talk about...

I order the same thing ( Pad Ke Mow w/ Chicken) that was $12, now it's $14 and the serving size is half the size is used to be ....No Bueno 🫤 and the foods not as good as it usevto be.( dry chicken) What happened to you guys??? My party ordered off the holiday menu, and we all raved about the deliciousness of our entrees. The food is served hot with large quantities. We ended up taking some home because we always save room for dessert. The mango sticky rice was soon good. My daughter had a Thai cold tea, and she said it was very tasty. We will be back!

Food’s as delicious as it’s always been through the years. However I do feel as though it is starting to show some age with natural wear and tear of the restaurant.

Irregular lighting through the restaurant, some people are in really dim lighting while other parts are as though they are in a Wal-Mart. It probably contributes in the varied experiences shown by prior reviews here.

At the end of the day I am too biased to how decent their food is to drop them down from 5 stars =)

I drive an hour away multiple times a year just to come to this place with my wife. The food can’t be beat - the curry is AMAZING!

Always such a great atmosphere. Also, Jazzy’s Thai Mojito may be the best drink I’ve ever had.

In my opinion, they are truly the BEST THAI in the area!! This is my go-to spot for Thai food. The food always comes out fresh and hot, and is delicious to-go as well. The staff is always friendly and fast. I recommend the pad Thai, chicken satay, fried rices, etc. Everything is tasty!!

Always truly wonderful! The jungle noodles with bbq pork, chicken satay, Tom kha soup are our favorites, but honestly everything we have ever had here is fantastic!

Literally eat here every couple of months for 20 years! Dine in, take out, door dash — it’s all great!

I'm here visiting and had a taste for Thai, and my search lead me to Best Thai. The corn patties are ok, nothing I will get again. The so raved about egg rolls are NOT good at all!.. But the Pad Thai (spice level 4) was really good!.. The only things I did not like is there was no evidence of egg, and there was way too many bean sprouts in it..

The food was very good and very reasonably priced. We were here to pick up our Thursday lunch and food tasted fresh.

Absolutely fantastic Thai food. Every single time I order from here it is always top tier.

Not only is the food delicious, but when I asked for extra potatoes and mentioned I had new braces on so my mouth was sore, they cooked everything a little longer and made everything nice and soft. This place is the best.

I'm not sure it is the Best Thai, but the food was tasty and the service was fast and friendly.

I had phad Thai wirh shrimp at a level 3 (out of 5) spice level. The flavor was pretty close to what I expected, but number 3 spicy was not very hot at all. They were very generous with the shrimp and I had at least 10 on my plate, they were also too generous with the sauce.

Overall a good dinner.

Have been visiting this place for over the last 8 years. Used to be my go-to Thai place, but off late their quality has dropped which is disappointing to see.
