We're bringing something fresh and delicious to Fort Worth -- the incredible cuisine of Laos alongside our favorite Thai street food.
I’ve ordered from here a few times online, but this was the first time I’ve ever eaten here. Food was delicious. I got the Garlic Stir Fry with beef that came with broccoli and white rice. Would definitely eat it again. I got a spice level 4, but should have done a 5. Will do that next time. Only complaint I had is they didn’t have sriracha for the spring rolls so I didn’t get them. For me sriracha is a must for spring rolls.
Ordered the set with papaya salad (Lao style) and Lao sausage. Everything was delicious. I also love young coconut drink! The only thing that I wish they can change is level of spicy, because I ordered level 3 but I didn’t taste any spice or heat at all felt like 0 to me.
Overall: I will definitely go back!
Stopped by for the 1st time after a walk and the food did not disappoint, it arrived to our table hot and fresh! We ordered the Thai Drunken noodles with chicken, I got the Spicy Level #3, but if you love spicy, I definitely recommend at least Level #4. We will definitely return to try more!
We love Zaaps. It is easily one of our favorite spots to dine in OR out. The fried rice options are plentiful. The pad Thai is flavorful. The SHRIMP BLANKETS are my absolute favorite and the cream cheese rolls are quite good too. Whether Ft Worth OR Dallas, Zaaps is always consistent.
Food was in general ok.
Called in to order take out; was told it would be 15-20 minutes. Got there at exactly 20 minutes, and then was told it would be another 5 minutes. Waited for another 10 minutes and still not ready, so went up to talk to the person in the front and told him that I was told on the phone it was going to be 15 to 20 minutes and then it has been already 30 minutes. Shockingly, I got these responses: "you have not been here for 20 minutes yet!" "I am not the one who is cooking". Eventually I got the food after another 15 minutes. Unbelievable service attitude!!!!

The staff was super friendly and nice to my family and I, the food was great, my daughter said her curry was a little sweeter and had a different consistency than what she was used to but said it was overall good, the drawings on the wall with chalk were stunning, this restaurant was the only one open because it was late but this was a lot better than I expected.

Even for a chain this is the best street style Pad Thai in Fort Worth.
Excellent food and customer service
All what we ordered is very delicious and steaming when we got it. The only thing I have qualms about was the fact that the cashier forgot our fried rice. Granted, we did order alot, but still charged us for the fried rice.
A-ma-zing! Small place with really incredible food! If you’re in the zoo, TCU, Will Rodgers area and love Thai food, then you owe it to yourself to go here! The curry fried rice is superb. The pad see ew and fresh spring rolls are also incredible. Go try this place out!
If you love authentic quick and delicious Thai food then this is where you need to be.
The staff is very helpful. Even though it's counter ordering, Mila answered all my questions patiently with a smile. They went over and above when I asked for a cup of hot water.
Got take out. We got lao fried rice and yellow carry but was excellent. Portion sizes good as well!
Everything I’ve had there is good except for the garlic stir fry. I ordered the beef and it tasted like beef jerky. The broccoli was over cooked and the sauce was terrible.
The Pad Kee Mao has amazing flavor, excited to try other things! Wish they had more room to dine in.
I ordered UberEats from this location and found a long black hair in my coconut water. I ordered the Laotian combo set, which was fine. Sausage was undercooked but edible (I hope).
I called the restaurant notifying them of the hair in the drink and after a long hold/conversation was told to take it up with UberEats because I "ordered on their platform." ...I don't think that's how it works.
Pretty appalled by the hair in the food and the subsequent terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and clearly food safety/cleanliness is an issue.
Very friendly
Beware of this restaurant the manager is drunk most of the time and they allow teen employees to drink (buzz balls) on the job. That is not acceptable by any means! 👎🏽👎🏽
Cute tiny fusion eatery.
Wasn't as expected. Very fatty sausage (chunks) and the noodles were way overcooked. Dr. Pepper was good and worth the 2.80 a bottle.
It's not a very big place but the food and customer service was great.
It's a never again for me. Did not get what I ordered. What I did get was awful. $60 for that?! I would close my doors if I served that and charged so much! Seriously bad on every level.
Every time we visit the dallas/Fort Worth Area from Mississippi we always stop by our favorite thai/lao restaurant. It never misses!! 💯❤️🔥
I had lunch with a friend here on Wednesday. It's a small place with limited seating, and it was crowded with people waiting inside for take-out orders due to the hot weather. The food tasted great and authentic, but it took an hour from ordering to receiving our meal. Next time, we'll call ahead to avoid the wait. While it's popular and food is great, it may not be the best choice for lunch if you want to dine in and have a leisurely conversation.
Best Thai food in Fort Worth! Ive tried the pad Thai and Red Curry and both were excellent. Can’t beat the flavor and prices of this place.
Guapisimo el chef ricardo 🥰
I ordered delivery and the pad Thai was good but the red curry was SO SALTY.
I’m allergic to peanuts and I wanted to change my order before it was brought out and they told me it was too late and made me order a new order
I asked for something really good, but I asked for it to be too spicy 😂. La comida está al cien 💯. Good food just be careful on the spicy level. Awesome food!
It was the best Pad See Ew I’ve had in Fort Worth. Service was good and located at Westbend
20/10. Flavor in the pad see ew was amazing. Mango stick rice was good also. Service was great also! My new favorite place.
The pineapple fried rice is soooo good I have them leave out the raisins and add xtra egg! YUM!!!
The food taste good, however every time I have eaten there I have bouts of diarrhea.
I’ve only ever had takeout, their yellow curry is phenomenal!
The place is primarily a take-out format. But we met our daughters for supper and found a table. The place is very clean and even beautiful in a simple way. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to help. The food is fresh and expertly prepared.
This was our first visit. And we'll be back within a month... guaranteed!
We have had everything on the menu & this is hands down the best thai food in Fort Worth. ( we have also tried every thai place in & around downtown)
The fried rice, curries, stir frys, spring rolls, eggs rolls, soups, all of it!!! 10/10
We are moving soon & going to miss this place so much. Really hope they expand around DFW
Found this via Google maps as an option for dinner near our hotel. We were super impressed with their food and knowledgeable staff. We had the yellow curry (5 spicy) and a papaya salad. Don't forget the wings. This place is amazing. Not much seating but don't let that stop you.
Actually surprisingly spicy for level 4 which is just what I was looking for, got the yellow curry and it tastes very authentically SE Asian. Probably close to if not the best Thai curry i’ve had in DFW.
The best Thai food around. Limited seating but still great as takeout. Super nice staff too - Preston is the man!!!
Ordered chicken basil fried rice , flat rice noodle with tofu and both were tremendous ! Exceeded all expectations. Not like other SE Asian restaurants where one taste mainly the soy sauce. Here, the food is rich in spices. Also, Zaap Uses legitimate shrimp !Please don’t change a thing.
The yellow curry was the best thing I've eaten all year I was pleasantly surprised with the sweet, spicy and savory flavor. The crab egg rolls and Thai tea were also both very delicious. This was a takeout order but I plan on visiting the location as well definitely didn't disappoint.
The Yellow curry with Chicken was one the BEST bites I've had all year. It was spicy, creamy, and very savory. It paired nicely with the Jasmin rice. I also got the crab egg roll and they didn't disappoint. I can't wait to go back to taste other dishes. ( This was a door dash order so feedback was for the food only)
Not a lot of seating but otherwise, everything else is great.
Today is my third time getting a meal for lunch here and I absolutely love it. The food is basil rice is so delicious and I love the spring rolls! Definitely going again soon!
im literally typing this as im sitting in the restaurant and eating. my bf and i got the pad see ew with tofu, curry fried rice with chicken, and the crab cream cheese rolls. the pad see ew is so good!! usually when i order at other places the noodles dont have enough sauce or the tofu is super dry and inedible. the curry fried rice is delicious!! this place is so cute! small and cozy :) 10/10 would recommend!!!!
I don't think I've ever had more flavorful fried rice or Pad Thai before. It's the small "hole in the wall" places that always seem to have the best food. Highly recommend
Small place with a small menu (a good thing). Ordered basil fried rice and drunken noodles, and both were very very good. The vegetables were al dente and delicious. Nice sized portions and all the order takers/servers were so attentive. Will definitely be back when in Fort Worth.
It's a small restaurant (3 or 4 small tables for two), so don't take a huge group there;
great for dates or eating by yourself; very relaxed atmosphere.
Got pad thai with mixed meat, as well as a joy macaron ice cream sandwich.
Both were great 👍
muy recomendado la comida esta delicioso😋
One of my favorite Thai spots. Incredibly flavorful Drunken Noodles that don't compare. Food still tastes amazing reheated. Wish it was closer to home 💔
Yellow curry was delicious!
Update: I tried level 4 at a Dallas location and it was very spicy, I’ll stick with level 3!
I was craving Thai and this came up as the nearest Thai with good reviews and boy am I glad I came! I ordered the Pad See Ew with level 3 spice, next time I’ll order level 4.
Oh my goodness this was so good, it was a good balance of sweet and spice and will definitely return.
Best Chicken Pad See Ew in the area!
Food is good but really bad service. The manager on duty was not very worried about customer satisfaction.
Will definitely coming back!!
My go to for Thai & Laotian comfort food.
My daughter and I came here to try some Thai and Laos food. Zaap wings, pad Thai and drunken noodles. It was really good. Not overly heavy on sauce and flavors were excellent! My daughter and I have ordered spice level 3 and for us it was too weak. I have read one review said 4 was too much for them but I guess it depends how spicy you like. 3 was very mild for me, but again I love really spicy food. They gave me diced fresh hot peppers on a side and that was perfect so if you are not sure just ask for some fresh or crushed peppers on a side. Also very nice little shopping area all around and there is a view of a park across a little creek running near by. There is no sitting with a view of the water but it’s just right there and the spot is just right. Food is inexpensive for the quality they deliver. At that spot they could definitely charge more.
Meh…
Great service and great food
Combo with sticky rice lap sausage and papaya… chef’s kiss
Got the zaap combo with Laos sausage, lvl 4 heat on the Laos style papaya salad and pad kee mow lvl 3 heat. Noodles and Laos sausage are fantastic. The sticky rice could have been a little larger portion but I won’t hold that against them. The papaya salad was ordered a 4 but for some reason it felt like a 7. All in all we will be eating here again.
Ok. If you want authentic Laotian and Thai food, this is the place. Go ahead, ask for Thai spicy level. Just don't say I didn't warn you. It's both tempature hot and spicy when it comes out. All the dishes we tried have been great. The fried cream cheese rolls are great. I am very partial to the Thai curry; spicy, of course. The Lao jerky is good as well. They even have sticky rice, which can be difficult to find in some restaurants. It's a small establishment without much seating, but it's clean with nice decor and friendly service. We can't resist stopping by here when we are in this part of town.
Food was good and on time. The was a misunderstanding with mom's order. However, management was on top of it pronto and made it right. Yeah management team. April 8, 2023 - 11:30
Good food, friendly people, fast service (even in the middle of the lunch rush!), and big portions. I’ll definitely be back!
Update: after eight months of going consistently for lunch, this place hasn’t disappointed a single time. Highly recommend!
I walked in to place a take out meal and was impressed with their menu and the friendly service.
Everything I’ve tried is good! Pad thai, Tom yum soup, thai basil stir fry, papaya salad, pork riblets, wings…so good!
Got an order from Doordash. I had the Laotian fried rice, and chicken wings. DELICIOUS! 😜 It was so good. The wings were only 5 piece for $10 but still worth it. Would recommend and if I come back to Fort Worth I'll try something else on the menu.
Made me ill, food poisoning. serves hot food in plastic bowls not healthy BPA alert
Not that tasty either, overpriced as well but that’s everything in America thanks to Democrats
I had the curry rice and it was fantastic.
High quality thai food!
Food was so good!! So happy I was told to check this spot out.
Seriously, so yummy! We devoured our lunch. The Laos Fried rice was really delicious. Sprinkled with dried Thai chilis for perfect spiciness. The pad kee mao was probably one of the best I have had outside of Thailand. Cream cheese crab rolls had a perfect scallion blend with the crab and cream cheese. Hidden a bit but so worth the parking and walk.
We normally pass this place on the way to HG Supply. co and tell ourselves we should eat here sometime. Tonight… we finally made it and it did not disappoint! Great customer service and recommendations! The food was fresh and out in less than 10 minutes it was absolutely delicious. We will be back!
Got the Drunken Noodles and Veg Spring Rolls. Spring rolls were decent. The Drunken noodles had way too much pepper and some other sauce on it. Maybe soy sauce? IDK. Didn't like it, though.
Get the basil fried rice w/shrimp
level 4🔥🔥🔥🔥 thank me later y'all😌
Love the curry rice
Amazing food, must try the wings!! Not much for seating when it's busy but plenty of spots to sit around the outside areas if you want to sit outside!
Might be the best Tom yum in Fort Worth
Zaap tries to stay true to Lao/Thai flavors while catering to western taste buds. But misses on being truly authentic flavors because of this. Food was fair, not memorable. Staff was great, but don't plan on dining in as seating is very limited.
I got Tom Kha soup. It came with a side of jasmine rice. It was delicious, best I’ve had. Will be back!!
Decent quick bite. Good for a late night option if you're craving Lao or Thai.
Amazing food! We decided to try Zaap last night and we were blown away with the flavors. We got the pineapple fried rice and Pad Woon Sen. We will definitely be back! Also- the music inside was a total vibe. Love this place.
The best Thai/ Lao we’ve ever had! We loved their wings, Pad Kee mao, pad Thai, and papaya salad🤤 can’t wait to have them in Houston and Los Angeles where I’m usually at! Not to mention they serve you super fast! - we got our orders in 5 mins!! Also thank you for using non plastic containers🌎
Yeah. Eat there and get some salt
Good not good
I have been looking for some good fried, spicy rice and I finally found it. Definitely going to get the spiciest option next time but the rice was seasoned right and fresh. The wings were sweet and savory being crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I’ll definitely be back
This is my go-to for Thai food when I need a place open a little later than most. Their online ordering is easy, the time estimate is always accurate, and the food is always superb! My wife always gets the Pad Thai and says it's one of her favorites in Fort Worth, and I tend to jump around the menu. Both the Pad See Ew and the Drunken Noodles are great. Perfectly spiced, a great ratio of noodles to veggies to meat, and everything just works! They also are nice enough to not automatically put their Thai tea on ice, which is great; I don't want to dilute it on the 20 minute drive home! The employees are always super friendly, accommodating to any request made on the order, and we've never had a bad item. Definitely recommend it!
Absolutely fantastic Tom Kha. Haven't had any that good outside of Thailand. Had mine with chicken and rice noodles (they serve the noodles/rice on the side, as they should). Dine-in experience was so-so, it's fairly small but it's aimed more as a takeout place anyway so that's fine.
If you want some Thai food in Fort Worth, stop by here and get some on your way home one day. If you don't know what to get, order the Tom Kha, you won't regret it.
The “crab cheese” err crab cream cheese rolls were absolutely divine. They were created originally to be sent to the heavens but the creator of these blessings decided to share it with the heathens that still walk the Earth. In all honesty, the vibe, flavors, freshness of the food, and customer service was 5 stars across the board. Will definitely be back for a lunch date with my mistress.
Delicious food!!
Cute little Asian food place located in a row of great restaurants to eat. Very trendy surroundings! This is the place to be if your dressed up and consider your self hot and sexy
Good food. Spice level 4 is like a 5 at other Thai places.
Amazing! Absolutely delicious! With super friendly staff!
Yummy just like the one in Dallas - Greenville!
Flavors flavors flavors, do yourself a favor and get the combo meal with Laos sausage. Texture is great and it is loaded with flavor to make you drool. It usually comes with jasmine or sticky rice, and Thai (peanut, carrot and sweeter notes) or Laos (fermented in crab juice, saltier notes) papaya salad. Don’t play with that 1-5 spice here. If you can’t handle much, don’t get beyond level 2. I warned you… there are some “secret” sauces on the menu. One is a fish sauce based sauce and the other is some kind of paste. These take the already delicious meals to new heights, like wow! Getchu a Thai tea or coconut water to cool things down a bit. Staff is usually friendly and will help you if you have questions on things you’ve never heard of.
Yummy food & great service. I pretty much always get the same dish. The pad kee mao was great!
Very good Laotian and Thai street foods. My kids (whom are picky) enjoyed everything. I ordered several menu items as I usually do on first visits and we thoroughly enjoyed the laotian fried rice, pad see ew, lao sausage, meatballs, and the nam khao. I know - that’s a lot of food. Portions aren’t the most generous so you’ll spend about $15-$20 per person if you’re really hungry. We’ll definitely return soon. There’s still plenty to try 😉
Their Laotian favorites are amazing.
The best tom kha I had so far in Dallas.
Service is really good. A bit pricy ,but considering the place they're located at,it's okay.
SO GOOD! Their drunken noodles are seriously the best. I also love their yellow curry. This is such a treat and our favorite Thai spot in Fort Worth.
Amazing food and service!!!
Very good! But for the price they should have free extra sauce. My Pad Tia was too dry! Restrooms were clean should be asked - ... and on separate questions...
Amazing!
My favorite spot! Their sticky rice is my favorite and their egg rolls are yummy and crisp and their rice dishes bring the heat you want.
Superb staff, clean and cozy environment. Highly recommend. I had the Laotian fried Rice with beef at a spice level 4. They use Thai chiles for 4 and 5, so go for the Thai chiles. Make sure you have Alka seltzer or picot later. The pad Thai is delicious and the combo meals come with sticky rice and papaya salad. Authentic Laotian food in a modern atmosphere. The macaron ice cream sandwiches are sublime.
Had Thai shrimp and fried rice. Was really good. Piping hot out of the kitchen! Great service! You have to try their macaroon ice cream sandwich!
I didn't want rice so I had the glass noodles 1/5 mild, it looked pretty greasy but not bad. Husband had curry spicy4/5 he like it, crab puffs/rolls were good, Thai tea was a bit concentrated but not bad.
Very nice and simple menu. Food was on point. Lao sausage was fresh and crispy lao Papaya salad was crisp and spicy. The portions are plentiful. If in the area, you should check them out.
We had the Laos beef Jerry, 2 different soups, a Laos fried rice, the Laos papaya salad, sticky rice with mango and a few specialty drinks. It all tasted absolutely wonderful. I'm not quick to give 5 stars. If I eat out I want GOOD food. This is worth eating out. The service was great also. It's a small place with just a few tables, but they treat you like you are a 5* customer.
팟타이
파파야샐러드 콤보 치킨윙 +찹쌀밥
맛있어요!!
식사 후 강변에서 걷기도 좋네요 :)
The food was fantastic! Fresh and packed with awesome flavor. We had the pad kee mao and the zaap wings with sticky rice and bang bang sauce. Definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back and try more.
Fantastic! Great authentic flavors. Chil oil was spot on.
I got chicken fried rice, spicy level 4 here. Loved it.
I also got the “yeo’s soy” to wash it down.
The best!
It was a nice little surprise. We were extremely hungry after all day long at the zoo. We decided on the closest Thai place. Good prices, friendly staff and good flavor.
Pad Thai and Tom kha were average.
Drunken noodles is a must at this place.
Ordered the Pad See Ew and was sadly unimpressed. Lack of vegetables in general, container was not actually full, and the dish included carrots which I had never seen with this dish before and really didn’t contribute anything. The beef used did taste much higher quality than average Thai takeout though which was nice
Excellent service and food. Dining area is a little small, but they have a table outside as well. Haven't had a dish we didn't thoroughly enjoy. Will definitely be back.
Even though this is not a proper sit down restaurant, the quality of the food is great, I highly recommend the Nam Khao. However they did not get my fiancee's order right; she ordered a Tom Kha and got what looked like a Tom Yum cut with coconut milk. They were probably out but they should've said something instead of serving something different.
I love consistency in a restaurant. Zaap was great before the fire, and things haven’t changed now that they’ve reopened! The Laotian fried rice is a great standard if you’re trying Zaap for the first time, but I haven’t had a bad dish from the rest of the menu. Be sure to top off your trip with a Joy macaron!
May 22 update: I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE BACK!!!!
DE-LICIOUS!! The food is so great!! My husband inhaled his meal and that is not an exaggeration. We ordered the Crispy Zaap Wings, Heavenly Beef Jerky, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), and Tom Yumm. So fantastic. We will most certainly return again and again
Food was excellent. The girl was very helpful in explaining what everything was. Especially love the wings.
The best Thai food I've ever had. The ingredients are fresh. The wings here are out of this world. The staff is amazing. Definitely coming back 10/10 recommended.
Everything is so good! The staff is really helpful and friendly!
Fresh Yummy Thai food! The only thing I was disappointed in was the Thai Tea was previously made and was in the refrigerator. Other than that...I love it here!
This place has become our new nearby obsession and we come here often for takeout. Food is amazing and consistent. The friendliest staff and tastiest Thai we’ve found in DFW!
