I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the best pad Thai I’ve ever had.
I got level 5 but I can take spice to it was perfect.
However, if you like a kick but not too much, I say go with level 1 or 2.
The service was great. Fast and efficient. Everyone was friendly as well.

I ordered the pad thai chicken and my husband got the pad thai beef. We were both very happy with the service, the quality of the food, and the portion sizes. We also got mango stocky rice for dessert... so good!

It's a quaint clean place . Very friendly and great service when I was there. This place was recommended by a friend . So when I ordered, I ordered from the lunch menu, but I couldn't remember what my friend recommended, so I asked the server for spicy noodles with shrimp at level 3 of heat. They were spicy and good but had about 4 or 5 shrimp which was disappointing. I probably will try something else next time. The lunch special comes with a spring roll or egg roll which I picked and a salad.

This place is ripping off loyal customers. I won’t be back. The fried rice tasted metallic. The only thing going for this place is the location.

The appetizer got served along with the entree instead of coming out before the entree being served. My main entree was cold. The food was cold overall. Not very good.

The value for the price is very fair. I order the pad Thai pretty often and I always ask for extra peanuts and it always comes with no peanuts it’s pretty annoying and yet I’m a fool and keep coming back.

Really good food and service

LOVE the food. Had the pad thai with tofu, and spring rolls with tofu, Red Curry, all were excellent! I have been here several times now and have enjoyed everything :)

My wife and I came here and it did not disappoint we will be returning, The prices are really good for what you get and as far as I can tell most of the food is really authentic. I just love this little place.

Pretty good tasting but their “bowls” of soup are actually cups and they cost $8… never heard of a place charging this much money for so little food.

I can get over the overpriced entrees because they at least give you a good portion.

Ordered online, and very pleased with the beef pho. I showed up 15 minutes early by mistake to pickup my food and they rushed to get it out. Super cute place with great staff. The pho was amazing, very flavorful, specially the broth the next day. Would suggest not putting beef in broth so it isn’t overdone, but still amazing flavor.

Pad thai was not bad, the pad see ew was probably the worst one I've tried in fort worth. I'm hoping it was a one time thing because this is not what it should taste like. It had the color like they added the sauce but there was no flavor it just tasted like the rice noodles with a weird sweet acidic aftertaste. Had to toss it. Their coconut ice cream with roti was really good though, it was my first time trying it so I can't judge if it was the greatest. Thai iced tea was also bad. Still trying to find a really good thai place in south FW

Got what I ordered, hot and at the appropriate spice level, though you have to walk through a usually crowded front section to get to the pickup counter and this time it was about 10 minutes later than promised at the time of Frederick online. Staff is always friendly but seem a bit harried.

I have been looking for a good place to have Thai food and this place was recommended by two people. First time visit and was impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the food.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. It’s a mostly reliable place to get standard Thai food. It’s a clean restaurant and good about 85% of the time. There are slight inconsistencies with the food quality, such as occasionally overcooked tofu. Either way, I do recommend it, and just advise that it’s not going to blow you away if you’re used to amazing Thai.

As someone who has tried numerous Thai restaurants across the DFW Metroplex, I was eager to visit Thai Select for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors, this might not be the place for you. Even as a fusion restaurant, the dishes don’t stand out, and the overall dining experience was underwhelming.

Additionally, the hospitality left much to be desired, and the prices are noticeably higher compared to other Thai spots in the area. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Thai Select if you’re in search of genuine Thai cuisine or even a noteworthy fusion experience.

I ordered Penang Curry and papaya salad, I told them #2 For the spicy , I got home and papaya is very Spicy #5 I can’t eat the salad or the curry . I tried to call back, no answer. So don’t go back there this is my second time they mess up my food .

I order lunch to go from here quite often. The food is always great! Today was disappointing because when I picked up my order I was charged an additional $2 because I asked for "no bamboo extra basil please". I asked... are you sure, because I do order this same dish all the time and have never been charged in the past for subbing the bamboo for extra basil? We don't do substitutions I was told today, and forced to pay the extra $2 plus tax. The lunch with tax and tip is already over $15, so the extra $2 for a substitution of an ingredient isn't acceptable for me.

I checked my credit card and before today have ordered lunch 57 times from Thai Select. I'm sad to say that today was my last visit as the food really is great and the staff is genuinely nice.

Hello, I am here to inform anyone that has ordered here through a third party like uber eats, or favor delivery, was charged a tip for the restaurant to keep to your ticket (under to go fee, or bagging fee). The restaurant charges the tip for themselves (that's supposed to be optional) to tickets under to go fee, or bagging fee, because they said, 'if you would have ordered through them directly for delivery, they would have gotten their tip', instead third party delivery is stealing tips from them. The restaurant also claimed that companies like favor delivery are aware of the extra charge and even supported it. Next time you order, look at your receipt for those charges.

Walked in was greeted by a lady who didn’t speak much English but very pleasant, she seated my daughter and I, brought us the menu and water with lemon that we requested. We sat there for at least 5 minutes. In walked a white gentleman and within seconds a senior lady waited on him took his order and just looked at us and just ignored us. This restaurant people have a lot to learn. We just walked out. Definitely not a place we will return to. Disappointed with this Thai Select.

I truly LOVE this place . The cook's do an AMAZING JOB I've gone several of times and I have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and super delicious . Staff also does a wonderful job, I always get greated when I walk in.

I’ve been coming here for years and the service has declined quite a bit. The food comes out fresh for the most part and is very tasty. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt with having an off day and continued to come back but the service is just bad. It takes 15-20 minutes for someone to come and take the food order and my biggest issues were today. We ordered an appetizer and two lunch entrees for lunch. My lunch entree came out before the appetizer and the other entree. The salads never made it to the table. And then the appetizer was brought out a while later with the second entree. Later I made a to-go order after finishing my meal and after 20 minutes of waiting and seeing multiple plates come out I decided to ask about it. Turns out my food was just sitting there on a table and nobody thought to bring it out. I asked if I’m supposed to come to the counter and pick it up myself and was told no, they got busy and forgot about it. I think it’s disappointing that the waitress didn’t care to check up on it after seeing us wait a long time after finishing our food.

Unable to cancel my online order when I accidentally ordered on the wrong date. So I have to pick another date to eat there because their system closes at a certain time.

This place is in serious need of major cleaning and upgrading. Floor, Bathroom, windows and can't imagine what the kitchen looks like If dining area is like this (been there 3 times always same). Older Asian man behind the counter sneezing several times right next to food packages and wiping with shirt and not washing his hands after and eating and drinking soda. They need to close for a day and clean. Could be a great place but not in this condition. Just check out the floors and under tables when you walk in.

No change still dirty walls, they buss tables and without washing hands and handle your orders coming out of kitchen. Hair in my rice sent it back. Time to find a new place.

This place is straight garbage. Terrible service and terrible food. I recommend driving to Taste of Thai in Arlington (2535 E Arkansas Ln Suite 319, Arlington, TX 76010) because this place is just terrible. I tried warning you.

Wouldn't exactly call it thai food. Overly focused on presentation. Excessive amounts of sugar, obviously catering to the American diet.

Ordered online and when I got there I stood up front for 10 minutes while 4 people looked at me without saying anything. They helped 2 other people that came after me in person, and took another order on the phone before finally speaking. She asked me if I had a to go order and after I said yes she just walked off. After a few minutes someone else came from the back to help and handed me my to go order that had just been waiting there the whole time. There were 3 other people standing there when the person who helped me finally came.

Thai Select is almost a ritual at this point. Delicious, hot, plentiful thai food with the absolute kindest staff I have met. I love that the restaurant is split into two separate vibes; so you can get your romantic couples vibe on one side and on the other a more vibrant kind of feel. The food is always good and if you want heat you can clearly ask for it. I always forget to take pictures because I am basically inhaling my food every time! I love coming here and I love uber eats-ing from here, too. Never change what you guys are doing because you clearly get it!

Quaint corner Thai place with good food. My friend and I enjoyed their Panang curry and pad thai. We asked for additional red powder, which gave the dishes the additional kick they needed.

My first time visiting and I was very impressed. The service was awesome. As soon as I was seated someone took my drink order and brought drinks right away. I ordered the lunch special, Pad Thai. The spring roll was great, I loved the cilantro in it. It gave it a little bit of extra flavor. The Pad Thai was easily one of the best I've had. The chicken was super tender and tasted great. Great atmosphere, food, and service. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in some good Thai food.

🍚 Thai Select Restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas is a solid choice for Thai food if you're in the DFW Metroplex! My family has been coming here for years. We love their Pad Thai and the different curries, and my boys like their fried rice. We usually order take-out and they're fairly quick with the order, and when we do eat in, it tends to feel a little cramped. But overall, great experience at Thai Select and will continue to come back!

Food: You really can't go wrong with their different Thai curries - Panang Curry, Green Curry, Red Curry, Yellow Curry, and Massaman Curry are some of the ones we order frequently. We also order their Pad Thai. Everything comes in a spice level 1-5; my recommendation is to go right down the middle at 3. Kids love the fried rice. We also love their thai tea!

Service: We usually order to-go and they are fairly quick in the fulfillment of the order. It usually takes us just the drive down from our place for the food to be ready - about 15 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Atmosphere: We enjoy eating here at Thai Select. The place does feel a bit crowded, especially when the tables are full and there are people picking up orders and standing around.

I ordered through UberEats today, I order from Thai Select often and normally have no issues. Today I didn’t receive my full order and what I did receive, leaked through the packaging and into the bag. I typically order an extra steamed rice and didn’t get it today. The food is tasty as always, I just wish I’d had gotten what I paid for.

ho what they say is right, you know, about the run down furniture. the bathroom is well kept if not a little stuffy. but in my opinion that speaks to the quality of the food.

i have not had such good Thai food since i lived in Hawaii, where asian foods go neck-and-neck and only the best survive. The faces I made the first time I tried the pad see ew probably gave onlookers the impression that I was using recreational drugs (I was not, the food is just that good) and having the best trip of my life.

Everybody and their tutu wants to sell pad see ew because it does well, but it's harder than it looks you know. It's so easy to overcook the broccoli and undercook the meat, or drown it in sauce. I say with pride and adoration that the beef in my dish was perfectly cooked and chewable (a commodity that, in my experience, nearby competitors are not able to provide).

A couple tables are wobbly, and patrons will shove various objects (pamphlets, packets of Sweet N' Low) under a table leg to keep it sturdy. The ice is chewable, if you care about that sort of thing, and the servers are just lovely. As a germaphobe I'm cautious about the containers they serve the sticky rice in, since they look hard to wash, but there's always a plastic lining on the inside, so I'm not very worried at all.

I don't think I properly emphasized enough how good the food is. Your toes will curl. Your face will move muscles you didn't know your face had. Your eyes will squeeze shut, and if you're lucky, you'll be able to taste how good it is even through the heat of it being freshly made. Excellent stuff.

Every time I go, I pray thanking God for the bearded millennial cashier at Trader Joe's that recommended this place to me and my mom.

Doordashed food from this place, my fiancé ordered mixed vegetables with rice and tofu as she is vegan and does not eat meat, there was no tofu in her food and we found a piece of chicken in it. She specifically put in the comments of the order that she was vegan and wanted no animal by product very disappointed

I’ve been eating here for 10 years now and it’s sad to need to leave this review. I’m not sure what’s going on with the restaurant. The food is extremely inconsistent and much of the time not even edible. I left half my food tonight. The service is not good anymore, and the restaurant is filthy. I hope their other restaurant, Spice, is still good.

I just don't understand why they are constantly closed on the food ordering apps. I just placed an $50 order through their website using uber eats and they canceled it with no explanation or anything, but my charges are pending.

How is it any different then me driving up there to eat inside?!
So frustrating bc it's literally the ONLY thai food anywhere near me.
I'm sick and I just want my curry 😞

This was my first time eating Thai food. My daughter is a foodie and always tries to get me out of my comfort zone. They food was delicious! The appetizer blew me away! Yum! The only reason I not giving them 5 stars is because it took a bit to get waited on. It was a late lunch (about 3pm) and there was only one other table occupied. Yet we sat for over 5min with 3 employees standing behind the counter and another walking around. Other than that, amazing!

I've been coming here for years since it is close to my work. I've always had a good experience and the food is excellent, although I always end up ordering the same thing every time. The service is very efficient, although abrupt at times when it comes to taking your order.

They forgot my to go order that I made inside. I was standing there the whole time. Food looked good from what I saw on everyone's table... I ordered two entrees and one was a red curry, but they gave me a yellow curry. The other order was calamari Lo-mein, and they gave me lo-mein without the calamari... which I paid extra for the calamari. They said it would be a 15 minute wait and I was there for 40 mins... so at this point, I dont care to fix my order because I have been standing for 40 mins for a simple order.

The chicken panang curry with brown rice, salad& lemon dressing and spring roll with peanut sauce is my favorite lunch choice here.
The food is always good but make sure you specify how spicy you want in numbers:
0- no spice, 1- a little spicy, etc.

Normally I love this place, however the last few times I've ordered my order has been incorrect. I like it spicy but each time there has been no spice and the dishes are bland and flavorless.

Best Thai anywhere. Flavors are amazing. Coconut soup is excellent. My absolute favorite

1st time eating Thai food.. Food was food.. Orange chicken portion was very small. About 15 bucks for the Orange chicken plate and a Tea for lunch.

Got my order wrong AGAIN. We had stopped coming for a long time and decided to give it a try - the food is good. However, when ordering on-line for lunch, you put in special directions and they still get it wrong. Some in our family are spice lovers and I am not - it never fails that my dish ends up with the spice and I can not even eat it and the others don't have it. I cannot continue to pay that much for food that I can not eat. Also, online ordering allows for you to choose brown rice with the fried rice lunch option. I pay for it and go to pick it up and they want to charge me an extra $2 for brown rice - either don't give me the option to pick or CHANGE the price online. However, this will not be an issue for me as we will not return.

Unacceptable service. Employees too busy eating their own lunch or sitting down on cell phone to turn in our order. Wrong order came after 40 minutes. This place going downhill fast.

Service has went down hill since covid. It would be great if they would focus on patreons that are actually eating in. The to-go part of this business has changed the quality in both the food and service. We miss this place truly being select!

Best restaurant in fort worth. The food is very authentic to my taste. The service was quick, friendly (no bother, no questions, etc) and efficient

One of the best Thai restaurants in Fort Worth but this time the Pad Thai chicken needed more egg. I couldn't see any.

Me and my husband (and our nine month old baby) have been here twice and both experiences are good!
Food is great, especially the chicken satay, it is to die for! We also ordered the panang curry and Tom yum soup, the portions are big, we were both filling and satisfied:)
The service is nice, the guy didn’t talk much but he is polite and professional which we like a lot.

Ordered here accidentally and what a terrible Experience. I meant to order at Thai Terrace and going forward will be sure to never make this mistake to eat nor order here again. The first discouragement was entering this place of business and not really being acknowledged, then I asked if there was eating utensils in my to go order in which the person at the counter said yes, I trust her answer get to my car just to find out there is no utensil so I have to get out of my car in the rain a second time to get a utensil that should’ve been in the bag to begin with. Then to top it all off my chicken is gray I don’t know why it’s gray but I’m pretty sure it should not be gray. I refuse to eat it as I am afraid of getting sick. I don’t have time to go back and address the issue because I have to get back to work but based on my service inside I doubt that they would even care.I have tried this establishment before years ago and I see that nothing has changed except this time I’m frustrated enough to leave an opinion.

The restaurant of NO. I rarely leave low star reviews but this restaurant from the beginning was not very good. Started with asking us for drinks, asked for a soda, there was no soda. Asked for bottled water (listed on menu), no bottled water. Tap water for both it is. Time came for ordering food, asked if I could substitute the white/brown rice offerings for fried rice, NO. Asked if I could order fried rice as a side, NO, only full order of fried rice and whatever it brings. Had to keep the white rice. The food was good, service and offerings are completely lacking. This is not a place I would return to.

Back here again... can't get enough of the delicious food and amazing service. Very clean, fresh ingredients and great music playlist. Friendly staff always even when they're super busy. Probably one of my new favorite places to go to with their great taste options.

Ordered on line -tracker said 2.35 -arrived at 2.40 -order not ready but it will be just a minute -20 minutes later it was dumped on the counter -no sorry about the wait -may have been a courtesy-but no. From placing the order to getting it was 50 minutes -it's OK to dine in but placing a pick up order here is not nice -sorry but that's twice -I won't be back

I went with a co-worker for lunch. He had come here various times and highly recommended the place. At first I was not really sure about the place but when I got my order, I was taken aback by the flavors. I had to come back to make sure it was not a fluke. This time I ordered online and when I got back home, I knew this was going to be my go to place for Thai. Really happy my co-worker showed me this place. I highly recommend.

I'm sorry to say it's my third time disappointed. Most recently Royal with red Curry veggies cold beef tough as a boot. No one approached me after the meal was served. I don't like flaging servers when two people are in the restaurant. She asked "u want box" that was the extent of "service" not. I said are you going to ask about my meal? "ok how your meal?". My reply it was cold and beef was like a shoe. Her reply I will tell cook ( a young asian) "meat probably over cook. Another way to say old. "that be $15 dollars". OK good bye....Done three times no more. You will close its not happening..

The drunken noodles were not very spicy and didn’t have enough sauce.

We love this restaurant. Everything is delicious! Some of our favorites lately are yellow curry with rice, tom yum soup, spring rolls with peanut sauce and pad see et. Yum!

Horrible ! Third time they tell me kitchen is almost closed, I need to order to go ! What the hell. It’s 915pm, and they close at 10 ! Not coming back ! Hopefully they loose plenty customers !

Or change your dang business hours so people don’t drive $20 in gas to find out your mood whenever you close as u wish !

Servers are friendly. Green curry is consistently good. We usually order the spring rolls - they're always fresh and tasty. Some dishes have been a little hit or miss, but usually pretty good.

This is my Go-To restaurant when in the area. It is not a fancy place but they offer a very satisfying Yellow Curry with several variations. I like to add Chicken or to add only extra vegetables. Plus Green Tea. Filling, wholesome, and fresh.

Absolutely disgusting food. I was super confused since I’ve ordered here several times. Today I decided to dine in. The ceiling was dusty and dirty right above our heads and everything looked like it needed to be cleaned. We sat I ordered my usual take out and I don’t know why but it was not the same. I took maybe 5 bites and had to trash it. My friend did the same and we ordered two different entrees. We also ordered the crab Rangoon as a appetizer. Way too much cream cheese and no imitation crab. Very disappointing. Will never come here again. Wanted to tell everyone walking in to not waste their hard earned money. I give two stars only because the servers.. when they paid attention were nice.

Service is excellent. They go out of their way to make sure you have your needs met. Food was fantastic, loved the variety of foods to choose from. Will definitely be back.

Thai Select has the best curries and their Tom Kha Kai is to die for! I live 30 minutes away, but I’d drive even further for their delicious food!

The food is ok sometimes it’s either a hit or a miss…but I go in on a Saturday they close at 10, and when I get inside some lady say the kitchen closes at 9:30 that should be specified online…gas prices are too high for people to be wasting others time. Please get it together. FYI I arrived at 9:26. Very disappointing!!!!

Really love the food here, my go-to Thai restaurant. Favorites are the pad thai, pad key mao, and pad woon sen. Usually get them with tofu, but sometimes I'll go for the mixed seafood.

I just wish spiciness was more consistent. Around 2018-2019 a 5 used to be almost unbearably spicy and I'd get a 4, but nowadays seems 2-5 are almost interchangeable.
