We ordered the Beef Pho, Chicken Pad See Eiw, and the Pork Shoulder Basil Fried Rice. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the pork shoulder basil fried rice.

The food & the server was awesome. But the manager who was taking our payment pressed us about a tip before we could even finish paying our tabs. Give your customers time to tip. YIKES! What happened? This used to be good Thai. The whole restaurant smelled of backed up sewer which should have been my 1st clue, that and the one other patron present. The two tablespoons of Salty soup i had raised my blood pressure about 25mmhg. Our entrees were mediocre at best. Our waitress was pleasant and food brought out quickly although we did wait for check extra 15 min or so.

Been here several times , the food is okay but this time i placed a order online and i drove 45 mins and i get there and they say theres no order ? so i showed her the confirmation screenshot and my bank statement of the charge and then she says the system not working and if i want a refund i gotta contact the company ? worst customer service ever and cant even help at all .. shouldnt be business owners but i wont be returning here anymore

Loved the variety of dishes offered. The place is slow and boring but it will be hard to track down my server. I usually order the pho. It’s a huge portion for the price. I wish they would offer a small bowl so I can order appetizers too.

We ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken and Pad Thai with chicken for takeout, both of them tested like burnt oil, and the worst was that they didn’t even put chicken in the pineapple rice. When we called them to let them know, the only thing they offered to us is that when we come back next time they can give us extra chicken, would not refund any money back.
We will not return, there are much better Thai restaurants around.

We love Thai food and this is the best place we have found in our part of town. Both for dine in and carry out. We have tried their chicken pad Thai and my husband loved that served spicy, drunken noodle, multiple curries, the Tom ka soup and all were very good. Will be continuing to order here.

A reliable spot for delicious, healthy meals. My husband gets the fried noodle and curry dishes. I order the soups and the fresh rolls filled with quality veggies. Wait staff are helpful and polite.

Food was great, the workers were like straight up not there at all, they all just sat down and talked while eating pizza, they had us seat our selves and when we where going to our seats there where multiple tables that where uncleaned and made the place have a kind of musty smell that killed my appetite, my group were the only people there so it’s not like they were busy the worker herself was actually nice but she didn’t check on our table at all, I had to stand up and go ask them for a to-go box, the water was atrocious, tasted like straight up mop water. I would definitely not recommend eating here in person but the food itself was very good. I would order from here again but I will not eat in person here again..

After eating here two times at lunch in late April 2024, my wife and I searched for a restaurant with “late” hours on a Saturday (May 4 2024) as we had been to Keller with our grandsons all afternoon. It was 9P by time we gogg to back to Flower Mound. Yummy Thais hours ONLINE and posted ON THE STOREFRONT report closing hours as 10P every day of the week.

Upon entering the restaurant at 9:22P, we were told by a female server that we could not sit down to dine inside but rather only order. And that was not exactly in a welcoming tone. In other words, irs 38 minutes from closing an we really do not want your business. Well…you got your wish. After dining there 10+ times over several years, we intend to find other Thai. All I would expect is to represent and advertise your hours clearly so you di not waste a customers time and gasoline money to visit only to be met with an unwelcome tone and response.

I LOVE this place. The service is always super quick and the staff and atmosphere is amazing. I normally get the lunch special that comes with a side and soup. It’s amazing for the price! Def recommend!!

This place used to be really good. Not anymore. Ordered Pad Thai noodles with beef. There were "3" pieces of meat, rest was nasty noodles, and vegetables. Panda Express has better quality at better prices. Obviously the change in owners has tanked the place. They'll be out of business soon.

Vietnamese spring roll was good. Salmon was too tough to eat. Accompanied curry and veggies were good.

We order food regularly from this location as we really love the flavors and quality of their food. I am reviewing based on my recent experience with them which was unacceptable at every level. Placed a delivery order this week and when did not get the food called the restaurant. Found out that they were closing due to some inspection issue. Our food was actually ready and sitting there but they failed to let us know or make arrangements to have it delivered. Told us we could come and pick it if interested even though we had paid for delivery. The person on the phone did not appear to care at all and did not even try to help.

The food is excellent. I’ve had the soups, excellent. Prices are very good. We order take out from there a lot.

Great place for Thai food.

Food is good, came here to get crab fried rice. They told me they don’t do extra crab even when I was willing to pay for try extra. They also ask about spice level and depending on who is cooking, it will either be spicy or nothing. Rice itself was great, but there isn’t enough crab in it.

When I walked in I could tell the food was going to be good. Has an old vibe to it but I really like it. Was seated instantly and ordered my food (pho). It tasted great and left satisfied. I suppose my only issue is that it is a bit on the pricier side compared to other pho places i've been to but it is quite nitpicky.

Awesome place to have a family gathering - the size of the food is remarkable. They even have a place blocked for large gathering.

Portions are huge! And it's all for a great price with excellent service! Our family has been going for a couple years now and we love the pad thai, pad see ew, the fried squid, and the fried shrimp here. Try the Thai tea too - it's really delicious.

Bonus, I love how the water cups are super sized as I drink a lot with my meal.

Great place for Thai takeout! We love the Tom Yum and Tom Kha coconut soup, the stir fry, cashew chicken, long life noodles, green curry…. Ok we love it all!! Very great ingredients with a large, reasonably priced menu.
We used to eat in and enjoy a Thai beer with our meal, but now it’s BYOB. The service is very attentive when dining in, but the atmosphere is nothing to write home about. I think take out is more popular here now as there are more people picking up orders than sitting in the dining room.

Good food when I’ve gone in person but the last two times I’ve tried to order for delivery, there have been issues. Each time, I placed an order during business hours, they confirmed the order, and then 30-40 minutes later cancelled the order without any reason given. If you are unable to fulfill the order through delivery services, then you should not be available on the service.

Really good place for some Thai food! Plenty of options and reasonable pricing. I got the lunch portion of Pad Thai and honestly that was enough for left overs the next day (which reheat decently).

I loved their 1 to 5 scale on how hot to make it. I have a decent spicy tolerance but I chickened out and went with the 2 option. It was honestly the right amount of spice for me. Enough to clear out your nose and give that nice warm burn, but not crying or glasses of milk. I shudder to think what 5- “Thai Spicy” does to the uninitiated!

The peanut chicken dish is so good. I got their fried rice for my daughter and it was delicious. The sticky rice with warm coconut milk is so good.

It's always a pleasure to come here. The staff is awesome and attentive. On top of that the food is always delicious. Pad thai is good. The Mussaman curry is stellar. The basil fried rice is delicious and the the Pad woon sen although a little light on flavor is still good. The egg rolls and springs rolls are a good choice too. The pho os good too, the kids like it. Pricing is pretty fair. All orders can easily feed 2 people.

I am moving this spring, and I don't know what I'm going to do without this restaurant 😩. The best Thai food around, no question.

Decent food, went during lunch time and it took 20 min for anyone to take our order. I had to get up and ask someone to come and take our order. There was a couple of tables in front of us but everyone had already ordered and maybe one more table waiting to order as well, ended up leaving since I was on my lunch break and it took forever.

Usually, if a place makes good stock based dishes, the rest of the menu falls in line.

First time, but definitely not my last order from Yummy Thai.

Food and portion size is really good, but after going here about 4-5 times and getting 3 dishes each time, ordering exclusively online, they cannot keep their spice level consistent with what you ordered.

If you got one dish at a 3 and a different dish at a 2, prepare to have the spice levels switched on you. A 3 on one day may be spicier on another day.

Normally I’m not one to complain about some extra spice, but today my throat was sore from being sick and I ordered non-spicy intentionally. So here’s my warning!

Ordered the "Yummy Egg Rolls (6)" and this is what I got. Two egg rolls cut into 6 pieces to justify the $9.25 +tax price tag.

If they were actually good, I would've overlooked purchasing two $5 egg rolls cut into kids bites but literally couldn't finish these spongy things.

At the very least, change the misleading description on your menu. Cutting a burger in half doesn't not make it two burgers.

Yummy Thai Flower Mound really know how to serve because they make us feel welcome, and treat you like they are genuinely glad to have as a valued customer. They also take time to help me understand the menu, and the food always well prepared and appealing, which is most important, even if the cloth napkins are sometimes a little dirty.

Asked for tofu pho and they accommodated me! Tasty and quick service.

We know it’s not weekend today, but google showed yummy Thai is open till 10 pm, so we came by 9 pm, the person at front desk is so rude he couldn’t accommodate us for dine in though he closes by 9:30 as per his timings ..

The Tom pho was pretty spicy, I asked fir medium. 4 -5. Omg it was an 8-9. I took a bite and almost coughed it up. It is really good, just too hot. First time here, so definitely will go down on my hot level here. The crispy spring rolls need some work, they were soggy. I live 15 minutes away and they were not crispy. They needed to leave them in for another 2-3 minutes. That's the reason for the 4.

I just love their Massamum curry chicken. Unfortunately tonight I accidentally ordered soft tofu instead of my chicken. Picked it up and drove home and then realized the mistake. Drove back to Yummy Thai and told them about my silly mistake. They just told me to wait and they will add me some chicken - and for free. Just wow. We will be back for sure.

My Experience today at this Restaurant was VERY BAD on Not giving TIP via CARD ( when i clicked NO TIP on card reader, i was thinking to give cash. even before i uttered a word about tip via cash , server lady asked me about TIP ). I said i changed my mind not to tip because of few reasons with in that she said don't come to this restaurant if you are not tiping

BEWARE, double check your bill !

We had 5 people in our group, spent about $75 total. The server gave us a check and never mentioned anything about they already automatically charged 20% service charge. And at the bottom of the ticket there was still a line to add gratuity. This was very tricky and misleading because usually the server would give us a heads up if the tips already included. And as far as I experienced before in other places, only party of 6 or more got automatically added gratuity, or if total bill is over $100. We would appreciate it, if she let us know about it first.

Not knowing and aware about the service charge already added, we gave 15% more as gratuity. We then realized after she finished processing our card. We involuntarily gave 35% tips. We complained about it, but she said that she cant do anything now, since she is not the owner. Only owner can fix it. She even tried to blame us for not reading the check carefully before signing it. That is very unprofessional. We then shared our bad experience with some friends, and apparently it happened to them also before.

This was a very upsetting experience for us. I feel like they took advantage of their customers. Not an honest and good business practices to earn extra bucks. I will also file complaint with the proper agency about this matter.

I so love this place! If you like Thai food, a lot. This is it; where yummy hits the tummy. Really. Red curry is my favorite. Mmm. They've gotten the flavor down to a science. Never disappoints!

Looks like a family-owned operation. They have great food and great portion. Sometimes the service can be a little slower if they are busy.

The servers were disrespectful to me. I came within an hour of when it would close, and the servers were trying to rush me and get my order over with. When I said if I could have a couple minutes to look at the menu, my server made a face. She also said that the restaurant closes at 10, so I have to leave no matter what by then. I didn’t want to feel stressed or the pressure to eat super fast, so I left and found a better restaurant whose server was a lot kinder and respectful.

Just don't go there at 9 PM although, they close at 10 PM. Pathetic and rude behavior, almost like they did not want to serve us because we went it close to an hour before closing. They will just try to rush you instead of welcoming you. I'd rather go to a different Thai restaurant more welcoming.

We had been before with two guests and thought food was fantastic. Food is wonderful, but I want to share a warning to other guests considering dining here. We came with 5 people and were charged a 20% gratuity on the bill for 2 people, and the bill for 3 of the people. My problem with this is 1) we have never once been charged that with only 5 guests (typically applies to large parties over 6 people) and 2) we were not notified of this service charge at all. I expressed to the lady (owner? I believe) that it would be best practice to inform parties of 5 or more that this is their policy, or at least put up a sign and she dismissed my suggestions. She said her customers all know and are ok with it. She says “all of my customers know that we do this”. How do WE know if you don’t tell US ?I feel like this is a sneaky practice and transparency is best. My husband and I frequently tip over 20% so the restaurant missed an opportunity by blindsiding us with this service charge, which ended the experience on a negative note. We will not be returning or recommending to friends and family any longer.

I had two separate curry dishes and they both have the same flavor ad very runny like a soup. The meat was hard and with no flavor.

An overall good dining experience made better by a 50% reduction off the 1/4 eaten too hot long life noodle dish. Atmosphere is fine as it is in a standard strip mall with a few Thai décor touches.

Soups are amazing. We have tried almost all of them . The restaurant itself could use a makeover for sure but the soups are top notch

Portuons are big but not tasty. Currys are ok. Others, i dont recommend.

The best Thai around!! Get the pad thai with chicken level 3 spicy. The spice level is strong (1-5) so 3 is the perfect balance.

One of the best authentic Thai restaurants. They serve Thai, Laotian, and Vietnamese style dishes. Extremely large menu, lots of noodle, soup, rice, seafood dishes to choose from. The deserts are wonderful, and they have some really authentic deserts I have not seen since visiting Thailand.

Our go to Thai place. Great pad se we, Thai fried rice, fresh Vietnamese rolls, and pho. Eat here once a week. Usually get take out and they are fast and tasty. Recommend.

Big drawback is too big price gap between phone/in-person/google map connected page/other delivery such as Grubhub. I strongly recommend phone or in-person order.

This place was so RUDE!! First, a friend or employee of the restaurant was eating a table full of food alone then went in the kitchen, no gloves, no mask , NOTHING to get to go plates. She also was charging her phone at the bar and kept walking in and out of the kitchen not washing her hands. The staff members were yelling across the restaurant to customers to confirm their orders. There was a couple who had been waiting forever and they couldn’t get their order right at all! I felt so bad for them. I watched people leave in pure disgust. The food was bland and basic. I will never return!!

I love this place. However, I just ordered the spring rolls for the first time thinking they would be wrapped in the traditional rice paper (as advertised in their photo), but they are in something like a tortilla. As if someone accidentally used the wrap for an egg roll and said, “good enough.”
