I absolutely love this Thai spot. I come here all the time for the pad see ew. I particularly wanted to leave a review tonight because although I didn’t catch their names, the two gentlemen working this evening were extremely sweet and kind, and were doing a great job despite how busy the restaurant was when I came in to pick up my order. I always have a good experience and the food always tastes great. I Will most definitely continue to return frequently.

Diner Review №3

Food was pretty good, but the waiter didn't know what he was doing. The restaurant was empty except for us at first, and our waiter didn't take our order until at least 20 minutes in. He actually took the order of the people who came in way after us. Appetizers AND main courses from our table's order were mixed up with the other table that came in after us. Multiple plates brought to us were chipped. We were there for almost 2 hours. We will not be returning. Very disappointed considering the reviews were so good.

Diner Review №4

Best food ever! We order weekly!

Diner Review №5

This is our first experience at Tuk Tuk. The food was super fresh and on point. The best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Highly recommend! We had Tom Yum, Moo Ping and glass noodle stir fried extra spicy. Everything were made perfectly even the tamarine dipping sauce.

Diner Review №6

Server did great today, despite many people in the restaurant and to go orders in between. Love love love the pad kee mow- it has a unique taste which really stands out. The pad kee mow noodles are also so soft and melt in mouth. Basil fried rice is delicious , soft, flavorful . Tom yum soup is delicious as well- their soft tofu is like butter. Kudos to the chefs here, keep up with the good work guys !!

Diner Review №10

Yellow curry with pork is absolutely delicious

Diner Review №11

The food is really great. We ordered a three for heat. This is spicy but with great flavor The fresh shrimp spring rolls are fantastic as are the grilled dumplings. Everything we have tried has been excellent. The Pad Thai is very good and the Thai Green Curry is spicier but full of flavor. You pick how spicy you want the food with a 1 being mild and 4 being really hot

Diner Review №12

Diner Review №13

Everything was excellent! Everything. From the Tom Kha, Satay, egg custard, vegetable soup, pad Thai, panang curry, everything was vibrant and rich. Jasmine has top notch customer. Highly recommend this place

Diner Review №14

Diner Review №15

Definitely a great quality perfect portions local favorite. I tried the Pad Thai Beef and Wonton Soup with a level 3 heat if you enjoy spicy otherwise a 2 should be just right. I’m definitely looking forward to try other entrees here soon.

Diner Review №16

This restaurant is probably the best Thai restaurant that you can go in Denton.
I ordered pod thai and orange chicken. We both asked spicy level 5. It was good spicy. I think if I add more fried eggs and more vegetables + fish sauce to my pod Thai it will be more authentic like this street food style.

Diner Review №17

They have my wife’s favorite yellow chicken curry, she orders it from them at least once a week. Their dedication to customer service is outstanding so is their pride in the food they serve. Highly recommend!!!

Diner Review №18

This food is superb❤️❤️❤️. First time eating from here and even trying out Thai food. I actually loved it!!!

Diner Review №19

I really love their chicken spring rolls and pad thai with fried tofu.

Diner Review №20

Diner Review №21

Diner Review №22

Thought about eatting here but then I had seen workers sleeping through the window on the couches. Shoes were off. Did not look professional

Diner Review №23

Hadn't had pad thai in years. Got it to go. Everything was awesome!!! Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Diner Review №24

Great food pricey but good

Diner Review №25

The money bags are disgusting. The soup was amazing. Thai tea was overbearing, and the cream was curdled. The crab Rangoon was good, but the fried items seemed like they were cooked in old grease. SOUP IS THE BEST ITEM.

Diner Review №26

This was my favorite Thai place in the whole city!! Now they’ve changed recipes including pad Thai and i hate to say but it was terrible last time i went. Makes me super sad because i loved it but i can tell the quality changed for sure

Diner Review №27

Food was really good. Never had deep fried pompano though. Prefer it on grill. Much better, but still really good fish

Diner Review №28

Best Thai!

Diner Review №29

I order from here once in a while and I love the Pad Kee Mao but today i am super disappointed that my food was not fresh, had a stale smell and the noodles were mushy and broken down to bits not as wide as they should be..we pay so much for food that can make us sick because it's stale.

Diner Review №30

Decided to try this place today. I placed the order online but when I came to pick it up, I wished I would have dined in. Cute, little place and the service seemed to be friendly and nice. I decided if the food was good, I would eat there next time.
Unfortunately, if a Thai place can't get fried rice right, the other stuff probably suffers the same fate. There were only 4 pieces of meat in the whole thing and the container wasn't packed full. Other Thai places pack the rice in there so you know you've received a good portion, but not here. For that price point, it should have been packed in and should have had more meat. The soup was ok and the egg rolls were meh. Tasted like they were fried in old oil, but had good crispiness. I don't know, maybe I'd give it one more try but like I said if they can't even get fried rice right....

Diner Review №31

My mom likes the food, so there’s that…

We ended up getting a third entree to go, which brought up the total.

Top five authentic Thai places that I’ve been to.

Diner Review №32

Delicious!

Diner Review №33

Amazing Thai Food! You have to try it! Honestly, only gave it 3 stars due to smell inside location for a long time now, definitely ruins the atmosphere. Service was a 5 until the last visit...new wait staff altered this for me. Great food, give it a shot. TRY THEIR COCONUT ICE CREAM, TOM KHA GAI, STICKY RICE, SALAD ROLL WITH TOFU, PAD THAI WITH TOFU AND CHICKEN AT A LEVEL 3 SPICY!!!! YUMMY!!!!

Diner Review №34

Enjoyed mothers day dinner with family.
My first visit and will definitely go back
Small but friendly and clean. Food delicious. Waitress was wonderful.

Diner Review №35

Omg this thai food place blowed my mind. We dined in and got Tom Kha soup, chicken spring rolls, pad thai , basil fried rice and panang curry. All dishes were perfect with perfect spice. The server was so sweet and she made sure we got everything we needed. Paid attention even though she was the only server and looked very busy. She made our mother’s day special. Thank you chefs y’all did a great job in prepping our dishes. my inlaws and hubby loved the food as well. We will definitely come back. This place is one of the best thai places I have had in a very long time

Diner Review №36

The yellow curry is really good, been there twice and an pretty happy with it!

Diner Review №37

Decent food but doesn't compare to the other dozen Thai restaurants in town. Fried rice is barely fried, and light on meat portion, mostly rice. Crab Rangoon was awesome. Wife ordered vegan, was not impressed.

Diner Review №38

None of the curries are vegan. They add shrimp paste to all their curries. Disappointing. Was a no go for me. My husband's meal was good.

Diner Review №39

Great find.

Diner Review №40

Diner Review №41

The food is fantastic. Food always looks so good. Inside very clean. Staff is very friendly. Fantastic!!

Diner Review №42

Really some of the best Thai food I've ever had and nice atmosphere/service.

Diner Review №43

Awesome

Diner Review №44

I decided to try this place because Royal Yum refused everybody service to host a barely attended stand up comedy night, and to be honest, the Thai Fried Rice Fried Chicken (they call it something else here) is just as good if not better because you can really taste the lemongrass and basil. Oh, and they won't disrespect their customers. They just take your order and serve you here because it's a restaurant and not an improv studio.

Royal Yum sucks.

Diner Review №50

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

Food is delicious and the staff is very helpful and friendly! Will come back! The yellow curry was wonderful!

Diner Review №53

I ordered the Thai fried rice (chicken and broccoli added), spring rolls, and crab rangoon. The Thai fried rice was okay, but it was still spicy even with it being a level 1. Also, the broccoli was undercooked. The spring rolls were not that good, they had a bad taste to me. The crab rangoon tasted fine, though. I think that everything was a little pricey for the quality and how much came out with it.

Diner Review №54

Good people good food

Diner Review №55

I've ordered takeout a few times and eaten inside the restaurant only once. The food quality has consistently been really good, though I've admittedly not ordered many different dishes. When I went to the restaurant for lunch, they were incredibly short-staffed, and it took a long time for us to get service and food. It wasn't the end of the world, our server was doing their best.

Diner Review №56

The food is very delicious, the place is very nice to eat with the family.

Diner Review №57

Best Thai Food..love it ..very recommended ❤️

Diner Review №58

It’s a small restaurant with good food, drunken noodles were good and tasty, but soggy, could be better. Spring rolls were good.

Diner Review №59

Lovely little Thai restaurant. Amazing flavor and perfect spice level (level 2 for me). Their level 4 was even spicy enough for my spice loving brother. Also, the lunch specials are a great bargain and still enough food. I definitely want to go back and try more dishes.

Diner Review №60

The food was very tasty. Soup or salad was included with the order.

Diner Review №61

Staff is very friendly and professional. I would NOT recommend the rice or vegetable spring rolls. The corn puffs were the highlight of my day!

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

Best Thai in Denton!

Diner Review №64

Went to Tuk-Tuk today because I was familiar with the previous restaurant at its location. The service was food and somewhat friendly. I order the orange sauce chicken. When I got it home I discovered that the sauce was on the side, instead of over the chicken. The chicken is battered and deep fried which makes it on the crispy side. The meal contained about 8 to 10 pieces of chicken. But they only included enough sauce for half that amount, so basically I just had battered fied chicken. Aside from that the food was fresh. I may visit Tuk-Tuk Kitchen again but if I get take-out I will definitely ask for "extra" sauce.

Diner Review №65

The appetizers were amazing. The curry I ordered went to my friend who doesn't eat Thai hot, and I was a third-long into it until she realized that this was a mistaken delivery.

Make sure the food is what you asked for. Other than that, it was delicious.

Diner Review №66

Food is amazing! Definitely recommend coming here. But my server Marlena made my experience even better. Words can’t even describe her service. Her attitude was sooo amazing. Always made sure I was tapped with water, gave me my space while I enjoyed the delicious food and she is just very bubbly. She deserves a raise and I’ll definitely be back due to the amazing service. Best server ever!

Diner Review №67

Very nice restaurant!! Food was top quality and prices were very reasonable. Great staff and servers. Definitely must try!

Diner Review №70

Our favorite Thai restaurant

Diner Review №71

Never gets my order right. Ever. I’ve been multiple times. This time I picked it up too late to go back so have a review. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR ORDERS. For context: there was 3 meals, two of the three had mixed up spice levels, two also had the wrong meat. Good food, the worst place to go if you actually want what you order. They just give you what they think you want I guess?

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

I've been pretty loyal to thai square but...Decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint! Amazing flavor food was piping hot when delivered which is impressive! But absolutely delicious food I'm beyond impressed.

Diner Review №74

Good food. Beautiful place and very clean. Love the music being played. Great service by their waitress. Very cozy and comfortable.
Will be back for sure. Please try dining in.

Diner Review №75

Diner Review №76

Always amazing and huge portions.

Diner Review №77

EDIT: Service was outstanding today for my take out order. And the food is still very awesome. Even though it's still pricey, it's on par with everything else these days so it's to be expected. Making this our new Thai go to in Denton.

First time here. The food is awesome. Tastes good, cooked right and fresh. Now, if you can stand the portions fit for a 3 year old with prices fit for a king, then this is the perfect place! I got 2 lunch entrees which show on the menu that they have rice options and soup/salad options. You're not given an option, but given what they give you. So for two TO GO orders: a lettuce leaf for salad, spoonful of rice, a spring roll the size of your pinky that I ate in 2 bites and an ok size entree portion for $20. I don't know about all you rich college kids, but that seems pricey to me for such little food that you aren't even able to customize. That's all.

Diner Review №78

This was my First Visit and I Really Enjoyed it and the Food ...Well Worth The Money

Diner Review №79

Diner Review №80

Great staff. They seem to know what you want before you do!

Diner Review №81

Delicious curry.

Diner Review №82

Food was good, nice atmosphere.

Diner Review №83

food was alright wife had fried rice it was good but my pad thai wasn't that good I've had better I'd say it was mid. oh and the proces are not worth the food

Diner Review №84

Food is average but priced high. Sometimes huge portions isn’t the best route. Our waitress was amazing and was the only one running the floor, if she had some help the service would have been 5 stars. The busser doesn’t clean the tables well enough, our high chair was dingy but the waitress tried her best cleaning it.

If I wanted to pay the price we did, we would have gone to Malai in Southlake.

Diner Review №85

Service was just a little slow, but the food was amazing so it more than made up for it. I highly recommend the Pad Thai and Cashew Dream (?)

Diner Review №86

Thai Food so delicious and tasty here. They could adjust seasonings to fit my taste and spicy level too. Love food taste fresh and not too much oil😋

😋. The girls who serve me so nice and care of each guest, she is take good care of FOH and always keep clean, I could feel she’s a hard worker even just server job. I saw many other people who around her age and work in different restaurant, they don't work as hard as she does. So, I want to give a praise for her that her work is great and guest recognize of her effort.

I don’t know why I didn’t know this restaurant since I living here almost 5 years and I drove to this road many many times. Not a lot of my friends know yet. I think you should invest more advertising, hand out flyers, and some signs that people who drive pass can see. Specifically, this is could great Thai Food place that attract main group such as college students.
We will be back again 😋😋😋😋😋😋

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

I lived in Denton for college and somehow totally missed this place. everything was DELICIOUS and our server was very sweet and timely. we had the fresh rolls, the pad kee mow and curry fried rice. We will be back 100000%!

Diner Review №91

Delicious! This is the best Thai place in Denton! Everything was hot and fresh upon arrival. I’m really impressed! My only complaint is that they didn’t include napkins or silverware in my Uber Eats order. Other than that, five stars to this place!

Diner Review №92

I’ve ordered online two times from this location. On both occasions I received a text informing that my order is ready, but when I arrive they don’t have any history of my order until they go back to review the transactions. Idk if it’s just my orders getting overlooked, but I don’t find it very professional to have customers auto texted informing them that their orders are ready for pick up if the establishment hasn’t even began cooking the meals. The food is pretty tasty (4/5) but the lack of organization is upsetting.

Diner Review №93

Delicious and priced well!!!
Stopped in again today, so good.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

A favorite for curry or stir fry. Great portions and great taste. They have gluten free and non dairy options too!

Diner Review №96

Bailey is the best! He remembers my order, which I appreciate, and it’s perfect and fresh every time. This guy is awesome!

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

I have always loved the food at TukTuk, but I cannot stand the service by the man with the ponytail. He is incredibly rude and has ruined every good part of this restaurant. He ignores his customers, refuses to refill water, and gets angry when customers don't pronounce menu items correctly. I miss the food since it is the best in Denton, but I cannot go back unless this horribly rude worker is not there any longer.

Diner Review №99

never eaten here but I doordash from here a lot and the servers are wonderful 100% of the time. welcoming atmosphere, 10/10 would recommend

Diner Review №100

Food was flawless and my waiter was amazing even though he was the only one running FOH and I noticed a full kitchen that did not attempt to assist in cleaning tables. In my experience in food service everyone should chip in and they left this poor waiter to do everything alone. Do better kitchen staff

Diner Review №101

Food was hot, tasty and the staff is kind and courteous.

Diner Review №102

Run of the mill but generally consistent. Run of the mill for Thai food is better than other types of restaurants. Thai food is always a higher standard for composition, flavor and nutrition. Food tastes good.

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №104

I love this mf place... even though y'all changed the name, you didnt change the game. ✊🏽💯

Diner Review №105

This Thai food is absolutely delicious!! I was very hesitant being that it was in Denton but it is the bomb! One of my favorite Thai restaurants is in Southlake and the other one is in Plano and I will say that I believe this restaurant is equally as good if not better! I am so happy I have found a new spot!

Diner Review №106

New ownership and food is still good

Diner Review №107

Very yummy! The service is always great as well! Highly recommend :)

Diner Review №108

My new favorite Thai place! Everything I've had so far is delicious! Shrimp Fresh Rolls, or Tulip Dumplings are my favorite starter. I love the Pad See Ew or the Salmon Curry as a main dish. The service is always top notch as well. My usual server is Prestley who is super sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! But I've been served by other people and they're all like that!

Diner Review №109

Diner Review №110

The best in Denton!!!!

Diner Review №111

Food was good but it’s totally overpriced.

Diner Review №112

Most of their food is high quality. I highly recommend their Ton Kha soup and their Thai tea.

Diner Review №113

I guess I went on a wrong night, "chef" was hungover from the Cowboys win or not there. What a waste of $

Diner Review №114

AWESOME FOOD!!!!!! Plus, great service. We were fortunate to have Presley attend to our every need and she did so with grace, manners and an exceptionally great smile.

Diner Review №115

Our favorite place to get vegan Pad Thai

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

It was great to be back. The portion sizes are smaller than when I was here 2 years ago. The foods quality hasn't changed though. Love it!

Diner Review №118

My new go to place for Thai. Restaurant is clean, quite, and the staff is great. The food is amazing as is the portion size. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to eat.

Diner Review №119

I've been a regular at this place for a couple of years now, I figured it's time to finally leave a review.
Used to be Khao San thai kitchen, the food offered is the same but has more color and flavor since coming under new management. I love their lunch soups, and the peanut sauce is to die for. The atmosphere and decor is also refreshing.
My favorites?
- Mussamun Curry
- Swimming Angel
For appetizers I go with the edamame or the money bags!
Give this place a try, maybe you'll become a regular like me!

Diner Review №120

Service is good. The little ones love their food and it's always fresh and well done. Their Thai tea is the bomb! Love this place.

Diner Review №121

Friendly and fast service! Their egg drop soup was made perfectly. Pad Thai and Thai Tea was delicious.

Diner Review №122

Favorite Thai place to go in Denton! I've only tried their Thai Fried Rice with chicken - it is very delicious! It has five different spice levels. They have various options of food to choose from as well and the interior decoration is beautiful. Would 100% recommend!

Diner Review №123

Did a take out. Food was really delicious!

Diner Review №124

Delicious and the lunch portion was perfect. The staff was super friendly and efficient.

Diner Review №125

After trying this thai restaurant out under its new name and new kitchen staff I must say it has me impressed. The previous staff under the name Khao San left me disappointed many times with wrong orders, inattentive staff and slow back of house turnaround. Bailey now has the front of house operating prompt and efficiently. The family-owned business now has more family in the kitchen expediting the food and providing a more authentic taste. There are many thai food options in denton, but this place has really stepped up their quality of food and service.

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

10/10 food

Diner Review №128

Everything's Alright there as a commoner there i usually get Chicken fried rice while scrolling on my phone but their chiefs are faster than my own teammates which says alot about my ingame allies. But 10/10 would eat there again

Diner Review №129

I ordered to go lunch from Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen today. I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants and would give Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen food a 3/5 for taste but a 4/5 for portion size and it’s freshness. The food got me full and it was hot when I brought it back to my workplace.

Overall rating 3.5/5

Diner Review №130

Great Thai food. We will go back more and more.

Diner Review №131

It was our first time at this restaurant, and we had a wonderful experience! We received help right away from the hostess/waitress named Lin. Lin was very knowledgeable about the menu and ran through it with us. Food came out quick and was tasty. Large portions too!

Diner Review №132

Excellent first introduction to Thai food - highly recommend this place!! Natalie was our server and absolutely delightful, super knowledgeable with their menu choices and gave great suggestions and descriptions to help with selections. We had their shrimp spring rolls as appetizer, then shared two entrees of Mongolian beef and Pad Grapow with ground chicken - everything was delicious. She shared they are under new management and just renovated the place…love the lighting and decor - great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Diner Review №133

Very good 😊

Diner Review №134

Food is good but service could be better. Seems that the employees are overworked.

Diner Review №135

The shrimp rolls were the best I’ve had. Everything I tried was really good. We will be back.

Diner Review №136

The lunch is better than any other in town. The flavors pop and the selection is great

Diner Review №137

Excelente comida Thai!

Diner Review №138

Natalia was our waitress/hostess, she was multi tasking like crazy and did very well managing tables, to go, cashing people out, and all the other miscellaneous stuff going on. Food was outstanding. Crab Rangoons are amazing/perfectly crispy. I got a 4 in hotness for my food and it was actually very spicy which I appreciate. Definitely will be coming back. Service was great and food was best Thai food I’ve had in Denton so far.

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №140

Diner Review №141

Haven’t came here since COVID. This place used to be my go to in Denton for some “closer to authentic “ Thai food. The name of restaurant has changed but we heard it’s the same chief and same menu. We ordered dishes we used to order in the past. Food still good but taste... different. Very Americanized now. I would say it’s a good “Asian” restaurant but definitely NOT a Thai restaurant anymore. Do not expect authentic food here.

Diner Review №142

delicious food, served by friendly staff and very prompt service carry out and dine in. We eat here at least twice a week and mostly carryout.. Delicious, consistent food with big variety. Always piping hot too

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

Tom Kha lovers be warned- this place is so good, you won’t be able to eat it anywhere else! And the service here is amazing too! Staff is just so kind and caring. Do yourself a flavor and RUN DONT WALK to tuk tuk ❤️

Diner Review №145

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

Diner Review №148

The taste is nowhere close to the previous Khao san thai. I was a regular for green curry fried rice. But this one rarely had the green curry flavour, i didn’t find any difference from their thai fried rice. The spice level is superficially 'hot', that burns your mouth, but not flavourful. Disappointed.

Diner Review №149

Great food

Diner Review №150

So good. The service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. Really enjoyed it.

Diner Review №151

The food was delicious!! Tofu was cooked well and vegetables were fresh. Jasmine was our server and she did so wonderfully - always making sure we had everything we needed despite being the only server in a busy restaurant. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №152

New owners. Same recipes and same chef. Really good food. They do lots of to go and app delivery business. I understand why. Flavors were good and your can pick a spice range from level 1 to 5 on almost everything you order. Clean and Simone inside but very comfortable. Sometimes can be hard to find a parking spot.

Diner Review №153

Ordered from here several times to go and for the most part the food is good but a little over priced. Today, I got chicken curry and Tom Sum soup, both containers were 3/4 of the way full only. They were filled closer to half than full to be honest. I didn’t notice till I got home. Again, I’ve ordered from there, to go and never had this problem. Very disappointing.

Diner Review №154

New Thai place just recently opened. Their red curry has just the right amount of spice and full of flavor. Along with shrimp rolls as an appetizer I probably won't be hungry for dinner. There were so many yummy choices. I'll definitely be back. Friendly staff and quick service.

Diner Review №155

I ordered the yellow curry and brown rice from DoorDash. It was pretty good, not bad. Looking forward to trying their other dishes.

Diner Review №156

Tuk-Tuk Thai Kitchen is an amazing restaurant with even better food. Portions are sizable and you get what you pay for :) Very family friendly with amazing staff and chefs. You can tell the owner really cares about the restaurant, which is a nice change of pace. Because this isn’t a fast food restaurant and everything is made from scratch, the prices reflect that, but I believe these new prices are fair and match how much food you get. Plus, the food is so good it’s worth every cent. No other Thai restaurant will serve food nearly as good or as authentic than Tuk-Tuk.

Diner Review №157

I miss the old restaurant owners but giving them a shot. Prices are significantly elevated. My first order was incorrect and to be remade.

Diner Review №158

Diner Review №159

My goto place for Thai food. Mmmm good. I recommend the Chicken Sukiaki.

Diner Review №160

Great pineapple curry! Best with white rice and no vegetables/pineapple. Trust me. And don't worry, you can still taste the pineapple.

Diner Review №161

Hard time to communicate through the phone

Diner Review №162

Extremely expensive with very small portions. Taste was only decent. Not worth it.

Diner Review №163

The food was very good, but the place wasn't the cleanest. Pictured is the yellow curry with chicken, jasmine rice, eggroll, and a salad.

Diner Review №164

Pad Thai and spring roll were below average, but the service was appalling. Server was sighing and verbally complaining about guests coming in at lunchtime. Intentionally overspraying a dirty table where an elderly woman was sitting because he was mad that she sat there. Didn't bring all of my order. No drink refills. Avoid this place; every other Thai restaurant in town is better.

Diner Review №165

Very authentic Thai food. For someone who likes spicy - level 8 is the right number to get the right flavour.

The Chiang Mai noodle soup, spicy noodles and fresh vegetable wraps. Everything was perfect. If you like well done food ask for it so that burnt flavour will add another profile to your taste buds.

I would recommend this for anyone in Denton area. Quick hot food, $ price.

Diner Review №166

Food was tasty. However I ordered the salad with ground chicken and shrimp with brown rice to go. I got something different. Still tastes good but I don't like white rice and wanted those salad greens. Looked like they only had one person working front of house. Prob need more help.

Diner Review №167

The food was very good, however the male server with orange hair/beard was very rude, cussing under his breath, and slamming the phone. Made me very uneasy to be around.

Diner Review №168

Diner Review №169

Diner Review №170

Picked up a Togo order and found hair in my food. Ruined my meal and the experience. I will not be back!

Diner Review №171

A true treasure for sure! This place is really GREAT!!! Very courteous and accommodating. And the food does not disappoint! Very flavorful curries with a lovely smoothness and aromatic tingle combination with well prepared menu choices. Adjustable spice levels, but be warned, it is wise to start out on milder level and then work your way up. Yellow Curry is a personal favorite along with the Swimming Angel....so good! Pad Thai is great and Panang Curry as well. The portion sizes are not large, but the food quality makes up for it. Glad to come here for a satisfying experience.

FYI: I am not compensated in any way by this business and I gladly pay for any food/services. I'm sharing my opinion freely and hope you will have a good experience with this business.

Diner Review №172

This restaurant is the absolute best! Amazing food, great location, helpful staff, quick service, reasonable prices, and beautiful atmosphere! Definitely one of my favorites!

Diner Review №173

I've sampled each of them all many times, and Khao San is the best Thai restaurant in Denton. Their staff is always friendly, service is always quick, and their food is amazing!

It is very close to TWU, so it's easy to visit for lunch if you go there or work there.

This is one of the few Thai restaurants that offers papaya salad, which is one of my favorite things in the world. It is extremely tasty and appropriately spicy. In fact, their spice level is great across the board, but if you like it hot, don't stick to their 1-5 scale, just go straight to 10. Or, as I did one time, just say "Uh... Maximum?" which rang up as a 20. :D Even at that level, it was far from unbearable. But once or twice they used fresh Thai Bird's Eye peppers, which brings a divine flavor and eye-twitching heat.

The decor is modern, and half the time they play modern, very chill music. I'm happy to say this is one of my favorite restaurants in Denton.

Meh.....food was ok. Service was average. Location is decent.

I gave them 4 stars because of the food, not the service. Went to the Thai Kitchen to have dinner and some drinks on a Monday early evening. There were only two other tables being served. We were not given a drink menu; we had to ask for one, which, by the way, was very limited. For some reason we must have repulsed our waitress/host because she tried to give us the check the minute she set our plates down, and 3 or 4 times after that without asking if we wanted anything else, even though we had already said we would order drinks and maybe dessert. By the time we left, one of the tables was gone and the other was leaving, so why were we being pushed out the door? You would think she would want to build up the check by asking if we wanted dessert or more drinks but she just kept readjusting our bill and returning it to us. She was extremely loud and insincere and we hope not to run into her again if we decide to return. We tipped her $10 on a $58 check but she did not deserve it.

I've been coming here for years. I'm pretty sure I single-handedly kept them afloat through covid lol. Everything I've had here is awesome although 9 out of 10 times I get the panang curry and chicken satay. I'm a bit obsessed with Thai peanut sauce, I'll put it on anything and this place has the best. The panang and/or pineapple curry are spot on as well.

Very good Thai food! Great service and really good iced tea!

Diner Review №178

Place was good enough. The curry was tasty but not as tasty as some better places in Dallas like Thai Thai and royal Thai and zenna. The curry was watered down and not enough curry taste. It was aight!

I really like their soups and fresh rolls. The fried rice is kind of bland

When I came to eat here for dinner there was only one staff member working. He was taking care of to go orders, serving the tables, and answering the phones alone. Even still, my food came out fresh and I could tell my server was giving his very best effort.

Delicious!

Diner Review №189

Really good, friendly staff, great atmosphere... small enough to be intimate, but big enough to take a party of 8-10. We do lunch often with 6 ppl. The pad Thai was as good as The Mint in my opinion, which is the standard I use to compare all Thai food. Recommend it to all.

Ordered the salad there to try something new. It was their most expensive salad yahm nuah and most delicious sounding. To my disappointment, the size of this salad contained as much greens as a fast food burger would have. None. Major disappointment for a salad not being offered with noodles.

Denton is fortunate to have at least three excellent Thai restaurants. This is one of them. Great meal, as always.
