On the menu it shows up under the chef’s special section. A heat level of medium turned out to be very mild. The shrimp, the vegetables and the fried rice were fresh and flavorful. The fried rice usually goes mostly untouched on my plate. Not today. I could have made a meal of just the fried rice. I don’t think I have ever said that before. Check the pictures.
My wife had the Lo Mein with shrimp. Another great choice. The meals come with the option of soup or salad. I had the salad with the sweet dressing. Crisp fresh salad, perfect dressing. We added the crispy shrimp rolls to go with the salad and soup while we waited on our meals.

Yesterday I had the orange chicken level 4 today I had the crispy beef level 4. My husband yesterday had the Ba Mee Noodle Soup and today he had the seafood Phuket. Flavors and textures are exactly what they are supposed to be for Thai cuisine. One of the only places left around that we really love! My family and I come here often. Each and every time we visit the food is actually perfect. It's hot. The veggies are never overdone or mushy. Plates are hot. There's a free appetizer, soup or a salad. The staff is friendly.

We were in town because my sons football team was playing the local high school team. We stopped in after the game. Food was awesome and staff was super friendly. I docked atmosphere because the place was a bit dated and a little depressing. All in all my wife and I really enjoyed our dinner and will stop there again if we are ever in town.

Dragon Thai was delicious as usual. I neglected to take a photo because I was so hungry. Be assured. If you eat there, you will enjoy the food!

As a fellow "man of culture" (I've seen all of Naruto AND One Piece) I would recommend the Tom Yum (I don't know who Tom is but the soup is very yum yum) Soup and the Crispy (not very crispy but whatever) beef. The only complaint I have is the man in front of me ordered FAR too much food than could possibly be reasonable so they were out of most of everything I wanted. Me and the cashier had a good laugh about it though.

This is a dive in terms of the building itself but the restaurant is clean. It's a nice enough environment with nice sized booths. The food however is Scrumptious! Everything was fresh. We got the Avocado crab eggrolls, fried eggrolls, fresh rolls, Herb Fried Chicken Fried Rice and Veggie fried rice. We also had the soup and salad. We have eaten Thai food many places across the country and this was very high at the top of our list flavor-wise. On top of that, the portions are ample. The service was very good as well.

The food was good but portion was small for dinner, service was ok, not really friendly. The sign said 12oz ice cream for $4. They give me 1 scoop of ice cream saying it was a 12oz scoop. I am disappointed with the service I received

Check your order before you leave! I called in a to go order for hibachi chicken and then I was hung up on without telling me how long it would take or when to arrive. I picked up my order, drove home to discover my hibachi chicken has no rice! It's just chicken and vegetables. I call the restaurant, tell them I can't dive up there again, and ask for a refund because I am not satisfied with my meal. Who wants hibachi with no rice?! I was offered a $1 refund for the missing rice or I can get an extra order of rice next time I come in. A $1 refund?! What happened to customer satisfaction??? I'm inconvenienced by driving to pick up an order they messed up on, and I'm offered no compensation besides $1. I paid $15 for chicken and vegetables. Definitely ripped off. Then I was hung up on again! Dragon Thai lost a customer with that lack of service. Remember customer satisfaction is important in running a businesses or you lose customers!

This was delicious! I got the chicken Panang curry spice level 2. A hint of spice, but slightly sweet from the coconut milk. Will definitely be back!
Edit 7.2024: I’ve been back multiple times now and I get the fried dumplings and the chicken satay and they are so good. The sauce with the chicken satay is a sweet peanut sauce and is amazing!! 🤩 The panang curry is still my favorite dish and I always get enough for leftovers because I know I’ll be craving it later.
My sister doesn’t even like curry and she loves the yellow curry!

My first time going, but I will definitely be back My wife and her nurse friends order all the time and she decided to take me to dine in once and the food, amazing. The only thing I didn't like was inside the restaurant itself was way warmer than I like, but that's just me. Everything else was amazing and easily the beat sesame chicken I've had in the county and I've at a lot of Chinese restaurants.

This place is amazing!! I cannot rave about the food enough to everyone I know. The chicken Tom Kha is not too creamy but the broth plus the coconut flavors are insanely delicious. I think adding some rice to it would be great too! Spring rolls are great, my husband LOVES the orange chicken and says it is not like other orange chicken. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I hope this business is packed 24/7. I've never sat down and ate at this restaurant but I consistently order their food weekly, and they deliver just that consistency. I've tried several items and have had no issues with any of them. I typically travel all over the US for work and I will always remember this place and rank it in at top 2 if not #1. I really appreciate this hidden gem and the amazing food they put out.

i’ll start off by saying of all the General Tsos i’ve had Dragon Thai was definitely the winner, the chicken was breaded perfectly, flaky, and delicious. The presentation of the food was very neat and our server was very accommodating. The atmosphere is a little lackluster but the food is what matters for sure.

In addition to the amazing curries and pad noodle dishes, they have a broad Asian fusion menu. Fresh ingredients, well seasoned dishes, as well as quick and friendly service. I highly recommend it. The pumpkin curry is delicious!

DoorDash driver here, upon entering I was told it’d be a few minutes. Arrived at 7:30, DoorDash driver app told me it would be ready by 7:38, shortly after I walked in I noticed an order be set down on the table, and several hosts just continued chatting, not paying attention to me or other customers in need. Showed me no respect, didn’t look at me the entire time and then finally, at 7:52 I got up to ask if the order on the table was for me, they said “oops, yeah it’s that one.” And then didn’t address me again. Shame on y’all for your childlike front of house workplace atmosphere. Food looked and smelled great, if only it could be paired with better service, which is what people come to pay for. I’m working, as well, and deserve to be treated like a human being. JW, sorry your order got cold.

Dragon Thai was introduced to my boyfriend and I by a friend and for the past year, we have continued dining in here at least twice a month. I am a creature of habit and always order pineapple curry with salmon. The complimentary soup or salad also adds an extra star for me. Everything is always so delicious and the staff are all kind. We will be lifelong regulars:))

We tried vegetarian thai food here and it was superb. The food was simple and flavorful. Had the veg spring rolls, tofu green curry, tofu Rad Naa and thai tea. All of the dishes were delicious. If we are inDenison would definitely visit again to try non veg dishes. Thank you for a good experience.

Food was absolutely amazing and authentic to American Chinese cuisine. What I'm used to getting in San Francisco. Have not been able to find anywhere in Texas that comes close. I highly highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is so low key. The food is so beautiful and fresh and delicious. The service is great. The atmosphere is clean, open and unpretentious. If you like Thai or traditional Asian food you'll love this place. My son who lives in fort Worth, says he thinks it's so great to finally have a restaurant, like this in our area.

This has become our go-to place every week. There is NO better Thai food in all of Denison/Sherman! It's a little hole in the wall kind of place, but the waitresses are always sweet, you can usually always get a table quickly, even though they stay busy and the food is just out of this world!!! I usually always gets kids lomein and kids fries rice and it's even to make two meals for me even! My husband's favorite is the chicken broccoli dish! Honestly, everything we've tried is amazing!

This is one of the best places to eat in the area! The restaurant is always clean, and service is always fast and efficient. The food is amazing and has always been piping hot and fresh to order, whether dining in, or ordering takeout. I love the Thai Basil dish, the crispy beef dish, the Thai Tea, and crab rangoons. The soups are great as well; try the Shrimp Tom Kha! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Thai pepper beef with fried rice. Fast and friendly service. We have tried Dragon Thai twice and have been happy both times.

Wasn’t expecting the type of food that we got! Fantastic food we had the hibachi steak, hibachi shrimp, the general tso’s chicken and the chicken teriyaki. The spice levels are semi-accurate. The 1 was a hint of spice and the 3 tasted more like a 2; the waitress was very nice. The only cons I have are the darn fly’s and the space is large and probably never packed. The location wasn’t hard to find either.

Very casual, service is always friendly but not good if you come in a large group. Be aware, if one person orders very hot food the whole tables order may come out hotter than you want.

My spouse and I love Dragon Thai and get food from Dragon almost weekly. I love they have a large selection of vegetarian/vegan options and will answer any questions you have and help you get a meal that meets your dietary needs. Only one thing to be careful about - the 'Spicy Levels' 1-5 often vary greatly. I used to get a Spicy Level 1 (not very spicy) but the actual spicy level was sometimes just right and sometimes way too spicy. My spouse gets a Spicy Level of 3 to 5 typically and says sometimes the Level 3 is as hot as Level 5, and sometimes it's not very spicy at all. I now always order Spicy Level 0 and my spouse just takes whatever the fates give them that day! Food is excellent and we continue come here, just take caution if you're sensitive to spicy foods.

I love this place. It has little ambiance, but the food is fast, fresh, and top notch. I eat lunch and dinner, carry out and dine in, the food is wonderful. I'm usually not adventurous, but I have tried at least 12 menu items, and loved them all. Even friends who don't think they like Thai food have liked it. Meatless, gluten free, special requests, all no problem. My 87 year old parents love it too!

This place is awesome! I ordered some no worries things so I could get a feel for the place: Chicken Pad Thai, Green Curried Chicken, and fresh tofu salad/spring rolls. All very, very, *very* good. Dragon Thai works on a 1 (lowest) to 5 spice scale and I got Pad Thai at 1 for my son and the green curry at 5 for me. At level 1 you know it's there. Easy spice level that makes you say, "Yum!". Level 5? I think that is perfect if you like heat. Level 5 isn't so heavy that it just tastes like burning, but you're nose might start running a bit depending on who you are. But, and this is really important for me, you can still taste the rest of the dish! Your mouth doesn't just shut down from spice overload. That's easy for a kitchen to do: Just blast something silly potent like habaneros into the entrée and everything else about the dish is buried in a 250,000+ pile of Scovilles.

So, yes, definitely check this place out. No need to go to McKinney or Plano for your Thai fix anymore.
