Basic Thai pick offering a range of noodle, curry & rice dishes plus entrees such as cashew chicken.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine with incredible flavor, look no further than Red Curry Thai Cuisine. This small, family-run shop is a hidden gem that never fails to deliver phenomenal food and outstanding service. My family and friends have been coming for years and have always received our orders with a smile, made fresh and piping hot. And if you’re into 80’s and 90’s music ballads then you’ll definitely love this place. 😄
The food is consistently fresh, bursting with vibrant flavors and cooked to perfection. Each dish feels like a handcrafted masterpiece, made with care and attention to detail.
Despite being a small shop with only one person handling the register and serving as the waitress, the service is exceptional. The staff’s warmth and genuine care for customers shine through in every interaction, making you feel like a valued guest. Even during busy times, the service remains attentive.
The cozy, intimate atmosphere adds to the charm of dining here. It’s the kind of place where you know you’re supporting a hardworking, passionate individual who takes pride in every aspect of the experience they offer.
If you’re a fan of Thai food or just crave a meal that will leave you truly satisfied, Red Curry Thai is a must-visit. It’s a testament to how quality food and heartfelt service can create an unforgettable dining experience.
It's a nice quiet relaxing spot. Food was good, ordered the coconut crab soup, very delicious coconut flavor needed a bit more crab flavor or meat (over all good), chicken Thai curry with extra rice delicious and plenty of meat enough to share ( hence extra rice), chickpea curry puff pastry loved it. And also the meal came w/ egg roll. Definitely going back.
This place is OKAY..MEH..at best. Went there for dinner with my wife. Walked in and only one other couple was there eating. Still it took the lady over 5 minutes to acknowledge waiting in the front and sit us. She was not helping anyone or doing anything...
We ordered some Appz.....like Spring rolls...they were decent... but not warm...so may have been premade.... Also, ordered Pad Thai and Drunken noodles...the Broccoli dish....
Man for the price...they give you cheap Tofu and protein and Veggies.... also Pad thai was not good at all.
Will not be back.
Food is good! I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality of the food from this little Thai restaurant. I ordered take out Pad Thai with chicken, Massaman curry with chicken, and Pineapple curry with chicken. All three were delicious. I will be back to try more dishes in the near future.
This place is legit! You can tell everything is authentic and homemade. Flavors are on point. My favorite Thai place I’ve had in the Dallas area since moving here 4 years ago. Hope this place is here forever!
Met up with some coworkers and was very pleasantly surprised by Red Curry Thai. Their red curry was delicious with just the right amount of spice, and their fried rice with extra spice was also on point. Always appreciate a Thai restaurant that isn’t afraid to make something Thai-spicy when asked for.

Get my order wrong pretty much every time I go there. The food is phenomenal, but unfortunately it doesn't replace poor service.
Went there with my friend and my cousin last week. The food was so good! the owner very friendly and nice we definitely will go back to try different dishes.
I have eaten her many times and this was my absolute favorite place to eat. Unfortunately I will never eat here again. I ordered food last night and my yellow curry had a bug in it. Which completed ruined any chance of future enjoyment.
One of my most favorite restaurants for the past 13yrs! Everything I've eaten from apps, soups, curries, Thai garlic, pad see ew, basil fried rice. I can keep going. Love this gem!
This place is legit! You can tell everything is authentic and homemade. Flavors are on point. My favorite Thai place I’ve had in the Dallas area since moving here 4 years ago. Hope this place is here forever!
Delicious yellow curry & mango sticky rice
Super sweet staff, delicious food. Not super crowded, it's hard to see from the road but it's super worth it to try it. Will be coming back.
Food is always fresh, hot 🔥 and spot on! Great spot for Thai food 👌! Highly recommended
Honestly a hidden gem. I love thai food and I love this place! Right next to my work, so I go here when I don't have time to go home for lunch. Service is fast, I always get back to work on time. Super friendly as well!!! Not sure if the server is the owner, but I see her every time I come, and she's super sweet and very attentive.
I always get the lunch special! Super cheap and comes with a piping hot egg roll!!! SO good!! My go-to order is their pad kee mow! I get it almost every time. Texture of the noodles is very important to me and theirs is SPOT ON. Portions are always big, I ALWAYS have enough leftover for another meal. And don't forget to order a thai tea!
Fried rice here is also very good! I haven't had many other dishes, so can't say, but I'm sure they are all good!!!
Called Red Thai Curry to place an order. They phone was not taking calls. Tried calling again, phone was still not working.
Placed an order online at 1:28pm and pickup was for 1:50pm according to the website. I arrive to pick up my order and tell them my name, and they said I ordered nothing. Turns out, when the worker who takes orders checked the system for my order they “didn’t get a notification” and they never checked. Person responsible for taking orders told me, “your order shouldn’t take long [to make]” and they walked off.
I get that miscommunication happens, so I overlooked the mistake.
When they walked off, I left as well for 10 min to not be in anyone’s face and get other errands done. When I came back at 2:20pm when my food was supposed to be ready (per text saying the time my food would be ready, person who took my order said I canceled my order and that I pressed buttons to cancel it.
I never approved a cancellation. Then they were refusing to take my order by hand and told me to order online again. They continued to tell me to order online. I refused. Person taking orders then brings someone from the back to tell me to order it online again. This is after I requested they just take my order by hand since online was difficult for them.
Overall lesson, don’t order through the websites they offer, unless it’s DoorDash or Uber eats I guess because you can get a refund faster if something happens. OR order in person, phone call and anything else is impossible.
I've dined in and take out. The food is always fresh and seasoned just right! They are courteous and prompt.
Too much food...lol I am sooo full. Loved everything I had! Yellow Curry and Tom Kha Soup. I left food on my plate because I just had no more room. Staff were very pleasant, and the food was served hot and quickly. Wish I didn't live so far away, or I'd be here once a week.
I would love to see them do a little more with the decor, but it is peaceful with calming music playing on low.
Delicious Thai Food, and great customer service.
Yesterday was my first time trying this restaurant. It is literally 8 minutes away from my home and I see it all the time. I had the yellow chicken curry with fried spring eggrolls and the crab and cream cheese eggrolls. Everything was fresh and soo good. I ate the rest today for lunch at work and it was still so good just like I got it fresh the night before.
Recombination of fried rice was so good I can eat it everyday. I don't even like vegetable egg rolls but I love red Curry's. If you're looking to try something new this is the place to go
Great food, horrible service. Very unwelcoming staff. Place is also starting to smell a little moldy. Vents on top of empty fish tank are black with dust.
This restaurant is so good. The crab cream cheese rolls are my favorite. I also love the crabmeat fried rice. Delivery directly from the restaurant is available with online ordering.
The curry was really good!
This was my go-to Thai place for almost 5 years, and I never once had a bad meal there. I recently moved out of state, and I have yet to find a replacement that even comes close. I loved their food, especially their Pad Woon Sen noodles (no tomatoes, chicken cooked extra well done). Every dish I ever got there was extremely good, including their curries! They will be a stop I make when I come back to visit.
It's decently flavored. The curry is heavy on the coconut. Portions are kinda small for carry out. Not sure about dining in. I eat alot of curry and for the price it's small. The ingredients in the curry could also be smaller cuts but are large so it's actually less curry for my rice. The employee was nice and helpful.
Best Thai food in north Dallas by far. The Drunken Noodle is the one to get!
Food was good it was takeout but it was delicious and spicy was spicy! Love that
Don’t be deterred by the underwhelming location and decor. The food here is consistently top notch, and very affordable. I’ve been to a dozen Thai restaurants in Addison, Carrolton and Plano, and this is hands down my favorite. Their Pad Kee Mow (Pad Mee Kow?) Drunken Noodles dish is filled with sautéed veggies, chicken, basil and fresh fried egg - it’s the best I’ve ever had. Their Tom Kha coconut milk soup is also excellent, as are their curries. Their Crab Rangoons are made like Chinese spring rolls, which I love that texture. (Also love their playlist of 80s hit love songs for the dining room - yes a little corny, but transports me back to my youth and simpler times.) Great cooks here.
Delicious food and unexpected excellent service.
Everything is delicious. Been here multiple times and never fails to satisfy 😌
Shrimp and chicken basil is the best and also Thai garlic chicken is good. Also they deliver which is very convenient. Best Thai food in the area.
Food and service was very good. Very clean place as well. Husband and wife run the place I believe. Gard working folks
Delicious food😋, friendly service👍🏼, wonderful place to order from.✨️
The spicy shrimp glass noodles and beef pad kee mow are tasty, panang chicken curry was also yummy. We're excited to order from here again. 🫶🏼
i felt there they were treating different customers differently
Crab friend Rice was excellent. They also were accommodating to my special request which a lot of thai places don't do.
One of my fav Thai spots. My favorite is the Pad Kee Mao and their Thai coffee. Their fried egg rolls are also very good. Service is always 10/10!
Best Thai food in DFW. Green curry’s and pad kei mow is on point. Very friendly Staff.
A quiet and calm environment to enjoy tasty Thai cuisine. I ordered the combination yellow curry which was included shrimp, beef, and chicken. They have a good portion size of rice with the curry. Their Thai tea is refreshing. I recommend having dinner or lunch at Red Curry.
Food was excellent great customer service
I like the quaint dining and BYOB. THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD!
Awesome food
Good service, great food. Go up a number in your usual spice. Absolutely delicious soups and noodles.
YUM!!! Just tried this place for the first time. I ordered to-go and everything was so fresh, flavorful, DELICIOUS!! Better than even dining in at other places! I don't know why I have never tried this place, but it's my new fave!!! Will be coming back a LOT. Thank you for the fantastic dinner surprise, as I was expecting mediocre food, as to be expected around here...But I was so pleasantly blown away!
First time trying out this Gem and I must say.. PHENOMENAL! I ordered the yellow curry chicken and gyoza and BOTH were delicious! So much so, that I ordered the grilled salmon red curry and the crab cream cheese rolls (OMG!!) for lunch the next day(very health friendly!) Then turn around and ordered the shrimp and chicken yellow curry for dinner(cannot wait for it to get here!) One thing I must say is, unless you are a true "extra extra spicy" type, please just keep it at spicy! They do not play with the extra,it's so delicious yet will have your pallet on FIRE! I LOVE IT!
I’m being generous with the 3 star rating.
I ordered the spring rolls and were pretty good. I ordered the yellow chicken curry, it was delicious. Also ordered the chicken pad Thai. It was not good at all. I have eaten pad Thai all over the world and this dish tasted so unlike any pad Thai I have ever had, I tried but I could barely eat 1/4 of it.
It was also very hot, no A/C in the restaurant. Basically what one can expect from strip mall food I guess
Love this place! Food is always great & consistent! The lady is so nice & I was greeted promptly! The tables & place is clean!
Delicious. I come here as often as I can just for the Thai fried rice. I usually order extra spicy, because their spices are very flavorful and hardly as hot as a jalapeno.
Quaint and delicious
! It’s so good I get the pad kee mao and the tofu fried rice . The ingredients taste very fresh and the flavor of the food is 10 out of 10 highly recommended.
We're seated and ignored for a little bit. Food was ok, but should have been better. Forcing you to dig out the shrimp from the food so you can pull off the tails makes no sense. No peanuts in pad thai?
The first time I tried Red Curry was through UberEats. I ordered the chicken pad thai and it was delicious! The pad thai sauce was spot on and most importantly, not fishy tasting. Some pad thai at neighboring restaurants have really fishy tasting pad thai which I do not care for. The portions are also quite generous. I loved it so much I ordered take out from Red Curry the next day for dinner. This time I ordered pad see ew, thai fried rice and pad kee mao. Everything was great! The lady at the restaurant was really sweet. This is now my go to Thai restaurant!
Awesome, food was great
I ordered Thai fried rice, curry puffs and yellow curry. The food was extremely flavorful - especially the curry puffs! It came with a delicious dipping sauce. I waited about 10 minutes for our food for take out. The portion of each item was large and can be shared among two people. Definitely coming back here!
Rude staff
Best Thai place in the area! We got the Pad Kee Mow and Basil Fried Rice. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the medium spice level was so good. The portions were on the larger size so one dish filled up each person. The place was clean and the server was nice as well.
Tried this place because if the positive reviews.
Plenty of parking available In the parking area. The food smells good but I felt lack flavor. I expected much more considering the positive reviews. The portion of the meal is quite small for what you are charged and I barely got two ounces of beef. I usually purchase from zenna for the same price and I get almost 50 percent more.
Staff were friendly:
It was good for a change but probably won’t be going here again.
Delicious food, great service and good atmosphere! It's a cozy little restaurant and a very pleasant experience. If you're comfortable with spice, the levels are accurate. Lots and lots of options for anyone and everyone.
Meh. It was okay. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow. It was mostly noodles and onion. I asked for "Thai spice" (the hottest they advertise) as I like it really hot, but it could've been hotter in my opinion. Service was okay. Probably won't be back as there are better options.
Red Curry is one of the best Thai/Japanese restaurants I have ever had. Their food is delicious! My favorite is the Thai Basil Fried Rice with shrimp and veggies. 🥰 The only thing I would add is receiving soy sauce automatically. Lol!
My wife and I love Red Curry Thai Cuisine. We order take out up to 3 times in 2 months. Their food has remained consistently great and better than much of the competition for years. Can’t recommend them enough.
Forever lovin’ the Tom Kha Chicken Soup, cashew chicken, and we recently discovered the glass noodles. Delicious stuff!
Exceptional food. Be prepared for hot when you ask for hot -- some Indian places say "do you want Indian hot" which is apparently disappointing.
Thai hot is another level. Don't mess with this and ruin your dinner lol.
It used to be good, simple and good. Spicy. Loved it..then, not anymore. They're trying to save money.. like with their cashew chicken even though you ask every time they never put cashews in it. They say yes we will make it the way we used to, but then they don't cuz they're dishonest and want to save money. Don't go here, there's other places in the area where the people are honest.
Delicious thai and vegetarian options
Lovely Thai restaurant with real Thai chef
After reading good reviews thought to give this place a try.We usually have thai from a different restaurant always and its been our best place to go for thai food.I was pretty disappointed with red thai curry.I ordered a pad see ew chicken and it was burned and had burned taste.Hopefully next time will try something else and see how it goes
The short and sweet overview is that this is a fantastic restaurant with friendly and responsive service and some of the most delicious and flavorful Thai food that I’ve had in the area.
My girlfriend and I came here after the lunch rush one Saturday and enjoyed Yellow Curry and Seafood Stirfry. The portions were plentiful and both dishes were flavorful with just the right amount of spice.
The chai tea was a wonderful post-meal drink (the only thing I remembered to snap a picture of while here)!
Red Curry is absolutely marvellous! It has charming decor in a soothing atmosphere, wonderful service, and absolutely wonderful food. We arrived in time for the lunch specials, and took glad advantage. The egg rolls were light and crispy and paired with some of the best fish sauce i've ever tasted. The chicken satay was beautifully marinated and grilled, and the accompanying sauces (peanut and sweet cucumber) were delicious, though i ate mine with the rest of my fish sauce. The pad thai was good with chicken, though perhaps a bit overly sweet, but the crowning jewel of the meal was definitely the spicy basil, which we enjoyed with beef--a lovely savory sauce with a sinus-clearing backend, fragrant with basil and mushrooms and served with perfectly cooked beef and an elegant serving of steamed rice. The jasmine tea is also not to be missed.
This was my first time at red curry and we went with several church friends after service. The food was awesome. I got the vegetable and rice. The vegetables were seasoned well and really yummy. And I love the presentation of the food. The waitress was so sweet, very attentive. Are glasses didn't stay empty at all. The food came out quickly and was awesome. A great experience! And very affordable.
Amazing food 😋 always! Employees are wonderful 👏!
Amazing food
I have been a longtime customer of this restaurant, I have always loved their food. Unfortunately I found multiple hairs throughout the curry tonight and I am absolutely horrified. I will never return to this restaurant.
My wife and I drive to this location from Cedar Hill, TX just to get the shrimp rolls. Our favorite Thai restaurant.
The food is always impeccable!
Their Pad See Yew and Pad Thai is the best!!! I swear I’ve tried Pad See Yew at so many other places and none beat Red Currys. My fiancé and I get this at least once a week. They also have great lunch specials, their noddle entrees are only $7.99!! The owners are really kind too, support this small business!
Excelente comida y atención
Ordered my food from their website and was very happy with the experience. Food was ready for pick up quickly and I really appreciated that the food was kept in a insulated bag to keep my food nice and warm ! The Tom Kah soup was especially delicious :)
Amables y muy Rica comida, buen sazón
Ordered delivery for the first time last night. Delivery was quick and the food exceeded expectations. The soup was very good and the pad thai simply wonderful. We’ll order again soon.
Orange chicken and spicy basil chicken were both really great! Love the fried egg rolls too!
Excellent. A hidden gem in the area. Tom Yum, fresh spring rolls and garlic chicken were high quality. If you like spicy, ask for extra spicy. Will make the drive to come here very soon.
Pad Thai tasted great. Large portion sizes also!
Best authentic Thai in DFW
It was iirght wasn't spicy at all for Thai food and I love spicy food especially with shrimp first time trying this place to highly disappointed on the spice the shrimp was okay too the vegetables no flavor cuz of the bland non spiciness but I mean I ate it all only cuz I was so Hungary if I wasn't I wouldn't of ate it at all since it had no flavor 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽don't recommend this place at all
I swear this restaurant has the best fried rice and Egg Rolls ever! Fried rice that is so tasty and the egg rolls that doesn’t have a lot of thick wrapper and oil. Me and my husband likes it so much that we actually order it often! Whatever they make, it’s always so good! The customer service is great too! Keep it up! ❤️
1st time at this restaurant. My wife and I truly enjoyed our meal.We are certainly going to make this one of our favorites.
Very delicious! Pricing fair. Very kind staff! And bless their hearts for working during the virus. I loved the panang and their pad thai was good! (I don’t usually care for pad Thai). 💖
Food was fast and delicious!!
Did NOT get any of my orders right and for the price, there are better places. Not worth it!!
I order from here frequently, sometimes dine in as well. The food is great, fresh and full of flavor. Everything I’ve had here is good. My favorite things to order here are the curry (all of them), grilled beef salad, and the tom yum soup. But like I said, everything is good here! Friendly staff too!
My friends favorite place. Very good food with wonderful service
Red Curry is the spot for Thai food. You will not be disappointed.
The Pad Kee Mao is excellent!
Wonderful! I am definitely going back! The service was fast, the rolls were crispy and had a nice seasoned taste and were not too oily. The red curry tofu was spicy and delicious and the portion size was just right for lunch.
No matter what my food venture is here the food is ALWAYS DELISH! Oh and the service is also very good...the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Great food and prices, quick prep when called ahead
Phat bai Kap hou Kai sapp
Fantastic thai food. Friendly staff.
Really good food !
Great food and very welcoming low-key atmosphere
Excellent food and super nice service!
This not Chinese food , it's Thai food.. There's a difference. Small quaint spot. Delicious.
I tend to review Thai restaurants by their Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) with Tofu because that's my favorite dish. This place had the tastiest Pad Kee Mow I've had in Carrollton. The noodles were a bit overcooked, though, as they had all been torn to smallish pieces in the cooking process. Still very good, though. The ingredients tasted very fresh.
Service was friendly.
Minus 1 star for the dirty bathroom, and the dish took too long to come out for a relatively chill Saturday lunch time.
I will definitely return and observe those two things to consider changing my rating.
Ordered curry- doesn't come with rice?!
Very very very good... !!! Beef noddle soup and red curry !!!!!
Nice quiet place and great food
I didn't care for my food that much and the prices are kinda high. Good location in the plaza.
Great service, delicious food!
The food was awesome
Highly recommend this place. One of my favorite local restaurant. All servers are friendly as well.
Try Tom Yum Noodle soup and pineapple fried rice w/ chicken👍👌
Price is very reasonable compared to the service and food quality you get. Seating area is rather limited though.
The food was good, it's a small and quiet Thai place. Service was quick and responsive. My drink was never below half full. As a personal note: I loved the music, it was jazzy, R&B space playing kind of stuff that just really lent to the quiet place to have a bite, and think atmosphere.
Loved it, definitely going back.
Absolutely the best hands down service! Food is AMAZING EVERY time I go. This one is for the books, will definitely be returning every chance I get. Shout out to the lady who works there I forgot her name, but tip her well!
Amazing service! I’ve been coming here constantly after discovering this place. Great customer service too, with one of my orders she remembered to remove onions when I forgot to ask her. Nice job
Fantastic Thai. I get the Pad Se Ew. You won't regret it. Also, get the wonton soup and crab rolls.
Excellent service. Great food. Best you can get in the area.
Good place for thai food
Great Pad Mee Kow
I had the basil fried rice and it was the best I've had in a very long time. Fresh, authentic food served by really sweet, friendly staff.
This’s my always stop for thai food, little place but good food nice decor nice people, love
Really nice place, price are good and service is the best
Great experience
Awesome Place delicious
Amazing! Great dishes - worth the wait.
Roaches...
I love this place. Excellent food and excellent customer service. So far I have been 3 times and it feels like home.
Loved it. Food was delicious & staff was attentive to customers.
Amazing food and superb service.
This is local thai food when we don't want to cook. The owner very nice and can cook to our orders
Excellent basil sauce stir fry. Both my Lady and myself liked it. This is one of our places and we will be back.
Love their pad see ew and thai fried rice
Never went here
Loved the food. We ordered 5 main dishes and 5 desserts. All of them were awesome!!!
Great Red Curry.
I got there 10 minutes before they reopen for dinner n the waitress didn't wanna take my order then ,but the moment I step away to used the bathroom she already has two orders.thats just bad customer service
Food is hot, fresh & and to not to meantion Delicious. The Pad See Eiw with beef is my favorite dish and it is always on point.
