I love this place! Best pho I’ve ever had, the sushi is muah, chef kisses! They have a very clean atmosphere and the staff is polite. Food is ready at a reasonable time! Highly recommend!

Walking in it smelled SO GOOD! Based on reviews and the smell I had high hopes. Unfortunately it was just meh especially for almost $18 after tax. I had the Pho Special which had a lot of meat, but the broth was very subtle. I wish they had a chicken option....
Heads up they do put the onion and sprouts in it before you get it so if you're like me and you usually get sick from sprouts be sure to ask for none, there are a lot of them!
The cilantro is also very cilantroy, if you know you know.
You have to ask for any added sauces to be brought to you and there was no basil which is usually my favorite thing to add.
I had gotten a huge chunk of tripe that gripped my touch and I freaked out a little.
I won't be coming back, but the server was nice.

My kiddos were wanting pho when we to visit Amarillo and a friend told us about this place and it definitely didn't disappoint all my kids myself and hubby enjoy the pho so much! And the staff was very friendly and clean environment. Definitely recommend ☺️

The food was amazing! We got the fried monkey balls and western roll. We also tried the dumplings and orange chicken. It was all delicious! We were definitely impressed and will return frequently! The service was great, Tom was our server and he was very attentive. The food came out quick too!

The waitress was very rude took 10mins to get our water order. Would get an attitude when I asked questions. Very rude and our sushi sat on the bar for a hot min before our waiter even grabbed it to serve us OUR SUSHI. Gross

Solid food at a modern price (inflated). Their beef stir fry in partciular is my favorite.

Standard service, but they do awkwardly have a political sign plastered prominently on their front door.

Overall, you will probably not regret this spot, but all things considered there are likely better options.

So this was my first time to ever eat at this establishment and I had my doubts being that it's mostly a sushi place, not saying that's all they serve but it is in the name.
First the place itself is a kinda upscale environment, don't want to use the word boujee and make the wrong impression, good or bad, but it's definitely not the same!!
So I do not like sushi, doesn't matter who's making I just don't and may never , so that's where my doubts came into play.
We ordered appetizers crab won tons I think, sorry for not being as detail oriented on this part, and they were probably great, I just don't like cream cheese , but we did order lettuce wraps, and my goodness!! They were amazing !!
Simple yet very,very tantalizing for my taste buds 😋 , very rich with flavor and stupindensly delicious.
If that's all I ordered , that would be enough to satisfy my hunger!!
Sushi was ordered by others in the party , the western crossing and the gecko, seemed like it would taste good, by the way it looked, I hope the pics I took do it justice
The Pho we ordered was good, but i really just wanted to try the broth .
We also ordered the shrimp tempura and crab tempura and both were nice portion size and had some nice flavoring going on.
Overall had a really good time, tried some new menubitems that I probably never would have , now the only negative thing I can say about them is that my wallet was very light afterwards, so please be prepared to dish out some greenback or start washing some dishes!!!
I think I would go back but just order the lettuce, and I hope you find this review helpful enough to encourage you to take a gamble like I did!!

An overpriced disappointment. Will not go back.

We stopped in with the fam and tried a few things. The spring rolls are a delite. The pork dumplings were on point. My wife had sushi, and I had the terrayaki shrimp plate, and neither disappointed. Highly recommend.

My fried rice was very plain no flavor what so ever. Also ordered edamame for my kids and it was hard . Not steamed enought was hard and kids didn't even want to eat it. First time being there was not impressed.

The sushi is over priced and the servers seem uninterested. I wouldn't recommend anything with cream cheese since they over fill the sushi and if you get a fried roll the taste is overpowered by the batter.

We had Gyoza, Baby Gecko Roll, Orange Chicken, and a build your own Bowl. Everything was super fresh. The chicken was battered with nicest lightest batter. You can tell they really are proud of their chicken as they leave the sauce off as a default. Fresh and delicious. The waitress was kind and attentive she helped make suggestions to what we should add to the bowl. It's a little dark but it didn't bother us. It was warm and comfortable. It smelled very nice and pleasant. Best part their health inspection was an A. I loved it here. Might be my new favorite!

Hipster bait restaurant trying to sell overpriced custom meals which all show up basically the same. Kung Pao, Lemon, and other chicken meals are deep fried strips served with a small bowl of flavor to dip into. There is zero difference in the meals except for that dip. Sushi is quality and pretty good. Pho, ramen, and other soups are like the chicken meals. Basically everything here is 50% or more heat to order. Online and in store menus don't match. Overall it's Panda Express with table service at 3 times the cost.

Me & my partner come here often, and we're extremely excited to share this place with his dad & Granddad. However, this place has gone down hill. My boyfriend & his dad ordered shrimp entrees, and once we got them we noticed that the shrimp tails are still attached. When asking the waitress she said yes they come like that. I asked her, "So your customers are expected to dig through their food to detach the tails before they can even eat?" Her response? "Yes." What if a child was eating this? That's a potential hazard. I don't think I will be coming back or recommending it to anyone I know. Used to be great, but something has change and it's definitely not for the better!

I've been going to Lemongrass Sushi & Pho for many years. It was always a more affordable and delicious option to satisfy my sushi cravings. However, they have recently changed their menu and they are much more expensive, they now average the same price as the higher end sushi restaurants. Also, not that it is a deciding factor for me, but customers should know they stopped serving alcohol. However, that doesn't mean the owner (or a person who appeared to be the owner, I'm not 100%) doesn't sit in the back pounding Coors Light during dinner service. Yes, that's right...I was walking to the restroom and past a table with 4 men, one of which had at least 5 empty Coors Light beer cans sitting there on the table. I mean, if you aren't going to serve your customers alcohol, should you be drinking? It is for that reason, I gave atmosphere 2 stars.

Please update your hours on google to reflect the opening and closing hours on the door, so that others know when to come.

The fried rice at Lemongrass is some of the absolute best that I have ever had! At my age, that says a lot! I would like to see more onion in mine but that is just semantics. The sushi is also excellent.
The entire experience was relaxing with no hassles or complaints. Now that I am aware of this place, I will be experiencing more of their wonderful cuisine soon!!

I was not that impressed. I got some noodles and they didn't give me enough to fill a kid up much less me or any adult. My food was decent but the entire family went to sonic afterwards. As far as atmosphere goes, I liked the music. Other than that it's pretty basic. My waitress was kind...For sure.

Used to be our favorite. They closed for a month to go back to Vietnam and changed the menu.
Their pho is terrific but other than that you better like sushi.
The small selection of “woked” items consists of breaded chicken (nuggets?) server with boiled white rice. Sauce is on the side…the sauce is the only thing woked they said.
$13.00 for chicken nuggets and boiled rice.
They have also removed beef from the menu except for the pho. They never have had pork.
Weird and very disappointing.
A restaurant we used to highly recommend is now warned against.

Foods good. Could have a bigger non-sushi menu. But it's good. My husband and daughter love their sushi. I always get the crab ragoons....not much if any crab in them. But more like cream cheese wonton but they are tasty. Atmosphere is pretty basic. Like the fish tank though. Service is ok. They don't check back with you much once your food is served then to bring the check. It's like that everytime I go. But they are friendly. Always cost us about $50 for 2 ppl when we go plus tip.

I WILL NEVER EAT THERE ANYMORE. My bill was $47.92.. paid w my card. Left a $10.00 cash tip. Today I get a notice from my bank saying that they charged me $97.42.. Someone figured there service was worth a $50.00 tip!!!!!!! Oh hell no !!!!

Fried rice is very good. Best in town by my opinion. Prices are over the top for simple rice and chicken. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is cozy.

My son and I treat ourselves to lunch at Lemongrass periodically. It is always perfect! The food is the best, we enjoy the Pho, the Calamari is the freshest and the Lotus Blossom Sushi is amazing! The people are always courteous and kind. We leave feeling so peaceful, like we have been to a spa!

The quality of Pho and Egg rolls has gotten much much better laltely. Highly recommend.

Service was great! Had the lettuce wraps & brisket Pho which both were delicious. The lettuce wraps are great for a KETO diet if you are one. The brisket Pho was delicious, the broth was perfect! Best pho and Thai tea in Amarillo. Also to the lady that got pho to go below, the meat is supposed to be raw and it’s gets cooked with the boiling broth. You could’ve have heated up the broth. Why would you eat lukewarm soup? Please educate yourself before making such an ignorant comment on someone’s culture.

05/28/22 - This was my first time at Lemongrass Sushi & Wok. I was greeted at the door by Tom, who was wonderfully outgoing and personable. I was seated immediately, given a WiFi password, and awaited my two guests for dinner. I ordered the Honey Lemon Chicken, while one friend got the Pho (soup) and the other got the Orange Chicken. FANTASTIC food. I was especially enchanted by the smell of the Pho, which I plan to order next time. Clean location, friendly staff, and excellent food, decent prices - what more could I ask for?

VERDICT: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Waitstaff is very nice and is doing the best they can. The atmosphere is very pleasant but they served me a dish with barely warm raw shrimp and when I asked for it to be fixed the cook or owner suggested I keep the dish for a 50% discount with the raw shrimp. Uuummm.... no.

Friendly staff HOWEVER food is important right? Crab ragoons were overcooked and the sauce was not tasty. The lettuce wraps were plain and not a lettuce wrap I have ever had. What made it unedible was pulling out a very long black hair out of the peanut mix. Ruint my appetite. Wont be going back there and pricey too for that experience. ☹️

Horrible experience at Lemon Grass. Warning do not waste your money. The owner Lee Doan is a terrible business man. A glitch in the computer system caused the server to over charge the credit card and he was going to make the server pay out of his pocket like it was his mistake. When I spoke with the owner Lee Doan he was rude and would not take responsibility for his computer system messing up. Save your self the trouble and do not support this local business if he is going to treat his servers like this.

We used to love lemongrass, was our date spot... But after last night, we will never be back. Me and husband ordered pho and sushi to go. I had veggie, he had shrimp add beef. Husband got a literal bag of raw beef with his pho. Everything else we received was cooked.. we called to speak with someone because we had NO idea that we were getting raw beef in a zip lock bag.. Should've seen that as a red flag. Manager told husband that they normally cook it in the broth when it's served dinning in.. which is totally fine, but you can't do that when you order to go. Broth was so luke warm that it didn't soften any of my veggies. There was no way it was going to cook his beef. Was told it's their culture and to basically deal with it. So, I cooked his beef and made sure the rest of his food was cooked. Should say somewhere the beef is raw if that's the case.

I came to eat at lemon grass, I wanted to order beef broccoli with fried rice and I ask no eggs in it, the manager said no, she couldn’t do that because it comes with eggs and I ask so the fried rice is already made and she responded no we have to make it. I told her, I was allergic to eggs and she didn’t care to help out. I’m sure. I’m not the only person that is allergic to some things on the food. How can a place like this be popular if they don’t want to make costumers feel that they can eat what they want and leave some food out if ppl are allergic too.

Tastes good but PORTIONS are really small for the PRICE. Got a salmon poke bowl and there was literally only 4 tiny pieces of salmon maybe amounting to about 3oz of salmon? Not worth. Total was $15 just for a small bowl.

Terrible service. Ordered through Karma and got my food cold two hours later. Was hung up on and talked down to by Karma and Lemongrass. Will never use either again.

I haven’t eaten here in about 7 years, so needless to say I was very excited to come back and try it out. Did not disappoint!

Went to Lemongrass as it was one of the few dine in places open on a Sunday evening. I went with my two daughters who love Pho, they didn’t have a kids pho, which is fine, a lot of places don’t. But then didn’t have a kids fried rice - again would have been fine, except for the fact that when I ordered a regular size one for two of us to split and they brought out this tiny af plate with half fried rice on it. And I mean half fried in the way that you could tell it was not all seasoned. Tasted as such too. I asked for tofu fried rice, because why not, most places usually charge like $9.50-10 for tofu or other meat fried rice. NO. The ticket came and not only was the tiny plate of uncooked rice $12, but there was an “up charge” of $5 for adding tofu. So $17 for a tiny plate of half cooked fried rice. My daughter got her pho and I tasted it and it tasted like hardly any flavor had been put into it, normally when we go to places like Pho 84 at least the basic broth is so flavorful. It was so bland. If literally the only other things open are Waffle House, IHop or even McDonald’s are the only options, it will not be hard to decide next time. There are tons of other amazing places to eat that serve authentic and awesome pho, rice and I’m sure other items they have on their menu. Don’t waste your money here.

My family and I had sushi it was a little pricey and had a little to much cream cheese for our liking. We did see a lot of other dishes that looked delicious. Would go back and try some of those dishes but not the sushi. Our server was very friendly.

The food was great, they accommodated my allergy requests, I didn't give it 5 stars only because the miso soup was mostly chicken broth, I told the waitress and she tried to tell me it was only miso. Trust me, I know the difference and I could see some miso in it but it was yellow and greasy and tasted entirely of chicken broth, there was so little miso in it... But my rolls and sashimi were amazing and my son practically inhaled his poke bowl, so 4 stars.

First restaurant visited since the pandemic. I would say it was not a bad restaurant, food was not bad, combination of variety of Asian foods, vietnamese, thai, japanese. It would be a great option for Asian food try out.
