Amazing fresh spring rolls with shrimp. The home made sauce with this was killer! The steak ramen was spot on, and the sesame chicken was probably the best I've ever had. Outside shell crunch but juicy and moist inside. The drunkin noodles and garlic stir fry was great as well. Thank you for great service and wonderful food! Will be back 👍

We were checking out wedding venues around the area and been wanting asian food for our wedding reception. We are here for lunch and we were so impressed on how delicious and quality their food are! We didn't see any catering signs on their menu but just braved up and asked them if they would entertain the idea of catering our wedding---and they enthusiastically agreed! AAAH! what an answer to prayer! And all our 220 guests plus my husband and I were well fed with amazing thai/laotian food, and even had more for guests and our family to bring home! They made our dream reception food come true! Cno, Mama The, and the whole team were so accommodating, assuring, and made the whole wedding menu prep so easy and smooth! We were so creative to how we can allaccommodate all preferences with our menu- meat-eaters, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc! We had spring rolls, egg rolls, and rice/ginger soup with tofu/chicken for social hour food and they were a hit! For reception we had, pad thai, drunken noodles, and green curry with tofu and chicken options, holy basil flounder, and sauteed asian greens. We had sticky rice with mango/custard and fried banana rolls and vanilla ice cream for dessert! And had thai tea with boba pearls for our special drink! All of our guests were impressed as we were from the beginning! It was truly a hit and was one of the big talks of the evening and even after the wedding! It is not often that they serve really good asian food in a wedding- and we were able to with the help of Mai House! But besides their great food, the Mai House owners and staff are like family! They truly and genuinely wanted to the best and serve their best for our wedding, and they definitely did! We are so thankful that we found Mai House! What a blessing and a reception to remember! And everytime we are in Shelbyville- we only eat at one place!

Two of us had the sweet & spicy egg drop soup. One had a side salad with house dressing. Everything was perfectly seasoned and wonderfully tasteful. The only complaint was from my friend who had the salad, doesn't care for the dressing, stating it has a bitter taste. The service was very friendly and quick to wait on us and our glasses were never more than half empty. It was about 3/4 full around 1:00 in the afternoon. Definitely give this a visit.

Latest visit was 2.6.25. The grilled teriyaki chicken and honey chicken were both exceptional.

Found this place while traveling on business. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you! The servers and staff are very nice and attentive. The food is excellent! I am super impressed with the menu- it features photos of each dish. I wish all restaurants would do this! We had two hearty meals for under $30, very affordable.

We wasn't told there was an upcharge to change the meat out on the dish for a different meat. Then the waitress argued with us that she told us when 3 people at the table said she did not inform us. Then asked my mother in law to stop yelling at her which my mother in law wasn't yelling she can't yell due to being in recovery with cancer. Very disappointed with service and being lied to. Will not be back. We was looking forward to eating there again but the service and food was disappointing

Flew in from Boston, Massachusetts was looking for some good Thai & Lao food. Mai House Asian Cuisine blew me to Mars with their authentic pad Thai noodles and Pho Soup!!! I was very impressed by how authentic the food tasted. If yall ever in the area and are craving Thai Asian food, Mai House place is where it is at!

The staff is so friendly, attentive and good at making sure you have everything you need. The food is hot, fresh and tastes amazing Everytime we eat there whether it's to go or dining in.

Gross. I have to wonder if they changed ownership since I was last here three years ago. The door was dirty and covered in gunk. The tables were dirty and sticky. The whole place looked worn out.
I can live with that if the food is good but it wasn't.
I ordered Panang Curry and it was thick and gelatinous as if they poured a whole box of cornstarch in it. Usually this is a sign that they are skimping on the coconut milk.
Who wants thick, gooey, gelatinous curry? Inedible. My Spring rolls were not fresh and were all stuck together. I wasted $24 on this mess and wasted my lunch hour.
I won't be back nor will I recommend this place anymore. Much better Thai in Murfreesboro or Tullahoma.

Waited 20 minutes at the table for someone to take my order. Little kids were too busy talking about their boyfriends to do their jobs. I really used to like coming here, made it an every Sunday meal. No more though. I do not appreciate poor service.

Service was outstanding. Being our first time, our waitress explained the menu and the lunch specials. The food was exceptionally awesome. We will definitely be going back.

They left a dinner out 3 times. Even when they said they would remake them for me. The 4th time the order was correct. Tasted good but I got violent diarrhea and stomach pain. Hope this goes away. Never again. Good luck eating there. A bunch of kids running the place.

Ordered a Pad Thai and sesame chicken it’s bland as hell no taste and they never put in our salad nor soup in my bag. Also ordered a Thai tea and wasn’t given to me. Place also needed some cleaning for sure. Will not be a returning customer.

Food was left out and way too greasy it was a quite horrible taste of fried rice and the sesame chicken was under cooked! Now I can’t get them to answer the phone!

I ate here while visiting with family who live in the area. I enjoyed some of the best pad Thai that I've ever eaten (...and I've eaten my fair share). I also sampled some of the dishes my family ordered and they were all very good. Service was excellent as well! Will definitely come here again the next time I visit.

It's great food and a good price. I suggest the ti noodles chicken and shrimp. Asian hot is spicy. But it's just spicy. I've you want to enjoy the taste of the noodles. Go stage 3. It's really good.

Always have loved this place since we moved here in 2020. Not sure what’s happened but it seems to me that they have completely leveled up! Went to dinner last night with my family and everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and served with a smile! New menu is amazing!

First time having Thai since moving here from out of state last April. Food was decent but…. No spice level choices? Spice level 0. And no chili sauce to add to the food? First time we’ve experienced this. To be more authentic maybe consider these changes. Seems popular though.

Every time we order, we try something new - and we are never disappointed. I love the beautiful lady that always talks to me when I check out and I’m pretty sure she is the owner. It’s amazing. I really do need to try the dine in at least once.

Food was good, but the service was slow. As a former server I am very forgiving to servers, as I know the game. I believe they were overwhelmed and need be adequately staffed for weekend rush. But, I will give them another as the food was good and tasty! Just emphasize to their wait staff be more attentive to patrons!

Mai house is my favorite place to eat in Shelbyville. Cino and his family are great people, they treat their guest like family. Beautiful people. Their cooking reminds me of our Asian restaurants in my hometown of Hilo, Hawaii. I love the steamed dumplings and the sesame chicken with fried rice. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Just in town for a one time job. The ignoramuses at that shop could only send me to fast food chains... I noticed this place on my way to one of them, and whipped around. What a welcome oasis in the usual southern food desert of fried cheap everything. Delicious cashew stir fry w shrimp for lunch, loaded w veggies... so I came back for dinner. Chose panang curry after server helped me grasp the differences and origins of the various dishes on the menu. I think I'll do lunch here next two days, too. Great flavor, tastes and feels quality. They're a bit reluctant on the heat though. 4/5 didn't make me sweat like I'd hoped @lunch... 5/5 on dinner just now was no hotter. So be it-- glorious flavors carry it all. Thom kha soup is lovely; crab delight perfectly crispy on outside with a house sauce that really complements.

Nice to have a thai place in this area. I got red curry spicy level 4; it wasn't spicy at all but I still enjoyed it! The extra kick would've made it even better.

The best thai place around, period. I mostly get noodle dishes like pad se we of pad kee mao, sometimes lo mein. It's perfect, cheap and large portions. $10 will get you a good size portion with chicken or pork, and a soup or salad. On the topic of their pork, it's cooked amazingly. I have never had pork at a thai place that tender and delicious. They also know how to dose out the spice, it's a scale out of 5. My normal range is a 3/5 for a nice kick without needing milk. Their Curry is also amazing, I always get mine with rice and mix it together but that may be personal preference. I live in Tullahoma and will gladly drive to Shelbyville just to have their food. Ontop of good food the staff is amazing, nice and personable. It's a family owned joint that truly takes the time to learn and remember their customers and their preferences. You will not find a better place to eat whether it be on lunch at work or after a long day. Do yourself a favor and go, and if you're looking for something good to try try the pad se ew with pork and maybe a little spice of you like it that way!

Dinner wss good, soup that came with it no so much. Food can be Great, Good or Bad, never know what you are going to get. The need consistent quality control. Nice people.

We have lunch or dinner at Mai House 3-4 times a month. We'd come here more often if we lived closer. We've had Thai food from all over the country, and while many places had good food, none of them offered the freshness and flavors of Mai House. The staff are friendly and efficient, service is great, and I can't think of anything I'd complain about!

Ordered on phone, picked up at drive through window. The woman working at the register was very nice. I didn't want eggs in my fried rice but she said sometimes they come that way already. So she gave me the fried rice with egg and also white rice w/ soy sauce. The was good I wished they made their rice to order though that would be excellent!!

I place a Togo order and received the wrong order at pick. The restaurant called me halfway home to notify me of the mix up. Then ask me if I opens the food at all. After returning to exchange the food I was given the correct food that had either been sitting for 20-30 minutes or food someone else had received. I am now eating the food that has been sitting for over an hour now and is like rubber. This food is gross and was way to expensive for what I received. Over $33 for two meals with no drinks. This was poorly handled and is over priced for the food given.
