I ordered the Pad Thai shrimp fried rice with a side of lo mein noodles whereas two of my friends iirc, ordered jalapeno boneless chicken and pad thai chicken fried rice. Overall? I would DEFINITELY recommend this place as well as come here again! The atmosphere was very lovely and the interior REALLY made me feel like I was in Thailand! The employees there were very polite! I didn’t wait a long time for my food. I honestly have no complaints about this place! If anyone ever finds themselves in the Murfreesboro TN area? DEFINITELY check this place out! You will not be disappointed! (PS: if the owners are reading this, I was the one who paid my bill in $2 bills and left a tip for the waiter in $1 coins😝🤣).

Tried Pad Thai Cafe for the first time last night! My sister recommended it and said she has frequented their restaurant since moving to the ‘Boro.

The place is a cute little trendy spot located in a small retail center off the main road.

My husband and I each ordered the Thai tea for drinks and wanted to give their crab Rangoon a try. Keep in mind it’s not the typical crab Rangoon with cream cheese and crab. Theirs has mozzarella cheese and bacon for the filling, definitely a different take on the traditional dish! I love the wonton wrappers they use, just wish they had an option for the cream cheese/crab filling cause I was missing that.

For our dinner we ordered the pork pad Thai with Phanaeng curry and fried rice. Everything was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend all three dishes. The quality of pork they use is great!

Overall we enjoyed everything from the food to the service we received. Will definitely be back for more! They also own the Asian grocery store next door so make sure to stop by there and check out what they have!

Our first time here. Came with two other people. Wait is a bit longer if you’re bigger than a party of two, but we were able to wait at the bar. About ten minute wait at lunch time. We ordered the red curry and Penang curry (pictured), both with chicken, as well as the green papaya salad (pictured, American style). The waiter recommended the beer laos, which normally my husband isn’t a beer person and just drinks hard cider but he said it was actually really good and would get it again. They were able to accommodate our request of egg noodles with the Penang curry instead of rice, and little/no garlic in one of the red curries because I have an aversion to it. The green papaya salad was good, though our friend said she prefers it when it isn’t sliced so thin as it stays crunchier. She also said the panang curry was good but heavier than other curries. I tasted it and to me it definitely had a strong peanut butter flavor and not very much spice. My husband and I had the red curry which was very good. I liked the ratio of veggies to chicken to broth and rice, but the curry flavor and spice wasn’t as strong as some other Thai places I’ve been (maybe they skimped on us because we are white 😂). Overall we would definitely come here again. The price was very fair (under $70 for three meals, two beers, and the salad split as an appetizer). Also the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Only thing is that our waiter was a bit weird and kept repeating himself and acting a bit aloof, but still nice.

Busy but great service on a Saturday at lunch. I got the Thai Fury Fried Rice with Tofu as my protein, and the tofu was fried up perfectly and the flavor of everything was amazing. The crab rangoon was garlicky and delicious.

I went into the Asian Mini Market today not even knowing the restaurant was attached. I found everything I needed at the store and the cashier, Elijah, enticed me into the Cafe.
I saw Pad Thai on the menu and thought why not.
I ordered a chicken and a tofu pad Thai. Both were very good. Nice solid portions and fresh flavors!! I ordered a 3 (1-5 for hot levels) and it was perfect on the heat!!
Everything about it was good and tasty. I'll definitely throw this stop in my mix.

I have been coming to Pad Thai Cafe for 2-3 years now and have not been disappointed with their service. This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant I have been to. Not only is the food always delicious, but it's also super affordable with generous portion sizes. The staff here is also extremely kind and friendly as well as attentive when it comes to us guests. I have never had a bad experience with food quality or service in the past years I’ve been here! :)

Ate here with some friends of mine and good grief; this place is amazing. Dynamite wings were like succulent morsels of sweet and spicy goodness. Drunken noodles gave me a good buzz with the right amount of heat in it. I am pretty sure Galileo was an idiot because the universe revolves around this freaking place.

I had the Thai Dynamite at the suggestion of the staff. It did not disappoint. The sauce was rich and full of flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The server was fantastic. I will stop in every time I’m in town.

This place struggles with their To Go service and not just on one occasion with me. None of their competition is this bad. I have witnessed them being 30-45 minutes late on orders to them giving somebody else my food and having to remake it. Very unorganized and can't keep up with the demand. Not sure if they take pride in their business but they will make you feel like the customer is never first.

You gotta get rid of that tall server with a long hair. He is so disrespectful to customers and doesn’t know how to talk to people. Some of these customers have been this restaurant’s customers for years!

They said the wait was going to be 30 minutes but turned out to be an hour. However, the food was so good and flavorful and I didn’t even care. Food was served promptly, so fresh and full of flavor. Some of the best asian food I have ever eaten. Definitely will be back!

After calling multiple times, someone finally picks up, only to hang up immediately.
It’s truly unfortunate, as the food is quite good.
Perhaps online ordering could be a good workaround; this way, you won’t lose potential business due to phone issues or customer dissatisfaction related to them.

Thank you Pad Thai Cafe! I picked up my niece for dinner yesterday, She is a student at MTSU and I was on campus for a Conference. We both have tricky soy and peanut sensitivities. The wait staff and amazing kitchen were so wonderfully accommodating! We had a great time with great food. We will be back!!

I wanna start this off by saying I LOVE the food here. It’s without a doubt one of the best Thai places in Murfreesboro. That being said, the customer service sours the experience ☹️ there is only one employee who works there who is nice to the customers and makes the experience enjoyable. I sadly don’t know his name, but he’s kinda tall and was a server who many times has stepped in for the others servers (especially the one with the bowl cut and glasses) when they are lacking in customer service. It’s crazy that you have to call in to place a pick up order, only to either wait on the phone for 10 minutes or have them hang up on you after the phone rings 20 times. You have to call them at LEAST 5 times in a row to get the point across to them that you wanna make an order and aren’t just calling to chitchat. I had a server once, the boy with the glasses and bowl cut as mentioned earlier, who was either high or didn’t know how to communicate with other humans as he barely said 2 words to me and would wonder off into the kitchen and never come back out. He forgot to bring out silverware or napkins and trying to get his attention proved extremely difficult. I love this place, I really do, but there seriously has to be a talk on customer service in the restaurant.

Update - another wonderful meal. Just can't duplicate that wok flavor. So good.

What an amazing hole in the wall kind of place! A small shotgun style restaurant that packs a huge punch of flavor in its food. Wow. Delicious. Food has depth! My first time here today. I ordered the fried pork dumplings which were crunchy and flavorful. I also ordered the chicken drunken noodles and hands down is the more flavorful I've ever had. Such depth...  fresh chilis, sprouts, onions, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, tender chicken and very well balanced sauce. So good on so many levels. Huge portions. I'll definitely be back.

Every time I get near Murfreesboro TN I stop. Some of the best Thai food period. The Dynamite Seafood is amazing and the heat is perfect! I’m just amazed by the scale of the place and the product they put out. If ya can’t stand the wait then think ahead and call for take-out! I wish there was a way to ship to Minnesota!

This is a restaurant truly deserving of 5 stars!! My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time today and were blown away. The waitress was amazing. She explained the menu and spoke in depth about the chef and his methodology for the food. I haven't had an attentive server like that in ages!!!

The food was truly delicious. We ordered chicken pho, pad Thai, and chicken wings. The seasoning on everything was so, so yummy!! The chicken wings were the best I've ever had. The pho was the best I've tried in Murfreesboro, and the pad Thai was perfectly seasoned and flavored, with plenty of garnish. Everything was fresh and hot!

Lastly, the atmosphere in this place is really nice and cozy!! I totally was not expecting such a nicely decorated dining area, with just the right lighting to make for an intimate feel. Absolutely perfect for a date!

First time eating here with my friends. I had a level 5 spice pad Thai and I enjoyed every bite of it it was the right amount of spice and was flavorful at the same time. This is the right way of keeping the heat in check without overwhelming the flavor! I love it.

I have spent a couple of months in Thailand and this place really took me back there. Seating is limited, but the general friendliness was off the charts. Next time I have a meeting in the area, I'm coming back!

An independent gem. The ambiance makes you forget you're in Murfreesoro. The portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable. Our friend taking care of us was heard giving in-depth descriptions of menu items to several tables. He was informative and personable.

I love how the restaurant looks so unique inside! Definitely not what I expected from a small restaurant. All of the servers were very nice and friendly!! Me and my sisters always get this tall guy and he’s very outgoing and takes care of us well. I love the portion of their food! It’s plenty enough to take home and share with other people. The food wait is not that long especially when it’s busy I would say 15-20 mins. Everytime I go it’s always busy which is great and is my favorite Thai restaurant so far! I love getting their pad see ew and their chicken wings. You can’t leave this place without ordering the chicken wings BONE-IN! 10/10!!

Update: salt and pepper shrimp and squid, salt and pepper soft shell crab, and their Catfish appetizer should be a go-to for everyone. Tum yum soup was great.

Small, clean, very well decorated Thai place in a strip mall. They have local cult appeal and are jammed most days. The food lives up to the hype. Fried dumplings were perfect. The jalapeño shrimp and squid appetizer was crispy and delicious. Dynamite fish and spicy lemongrass entrees were fantastic. If you arrive just after opening at 11 AM you have a good chance of getting in.

This place is simply WOW! A local chef I follow on social media recommended it & man am I happy I took my Mom here for lunch yesterday (she’s visiting from FL). My family & I are new to Murfreesboro & have yet to find a place to eat that has Wowed us until this place. Unassuming, packed, but yet Elijah makes you feel like you are the only costumer there, FReSH doesn’t seem like an appropriate word for this meal, the herbs on top, the portions, the favor……again, WOW. Heat is added on a scalp of 1-5 & I went with 3. Next time I’ll go with 2 but the fact that it was hot did not deter me from eating until I couldn’t any more. Glad I had left over to bring home to my husband because he also loved it & can’t wait to go back to try other stuff.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible. My husband and I came for dinner with our 1 year old. We got pad Thai, sesame chicken, fried dumplings, and a kids meal. Everything was absolutely delicious, we haven’t had good food like this in the BORO in a very long time. The service was amazing, our waiter (Elijah) was so welcoming, hilarious, and had so much grace on our one year old who made a mess. The vibe here is definitely family oriented, warm, and welcoming. We cannot wait to come back. We couldn’t recommend this place enough- a true hidden gem in the wall. We will tell everyone we know! Not to mention!!! Very affordable for how delicious and portion size! 10000% eat here and support this business!

This restaurant is impeccable. Murfreesboro is lucky to have this gem. Nashville doesn't even have Thai food this good. If you're a Thai food lover, I'd recommend the trip. You won't be disappointed. I've not had a single thing I don't like.

Last night we tried something new. The Larb dish and Drunken Noodles. There's literally NOTHING that I've had from here that I didn't like. Over the years we've had : Pad Thai, Ginger Jalapeño Wings, Pho, Thai rice, Chinese Rice, Laos Sausage, Spring Rolls, Pan Fried Dumplings, salad, general Tsao's chicken it's all been amazing.

I remember the first time I ate here 11 years ago. I was amazed at the food quality and quaint atmosphere. They have never disappointed me in the slightest. The soups, pad thai, drunken noodles, thai dynamite, and red curry are some of the best meals I've ever eaten, hands down. There is never an empty seat in the place, and the phone stays ringing with take-out orders. So, understandably, it may occasionally take a bit for takeout, not to mention they only have seating for around 20 people. No matter the case, the food has always been consistently delicious, and the portions are generous! I hope to continue eating here for another 11 years!

The owners work the business and you can tell. Service was so kind and pleasant. If you have to wait, we did, it’s worth it!

Pad Thai is a very popular Thai restaurant in this area. It's small and cramped on the inside so arrive early if dining in. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and chicken wings. They really give you a lot of food. I was expecting a few wings. No...it was a to go container full of wings.
Same for the fried rice. The shrimp has to be at least jumbo size. I counted 12 pieces of shrimp. The rice itself is ok. It's a little too crunchy for my taste but that didn't stop me from ordering it twice. My fiance enjoyed the pho and pork larb.

Have been here many times before and have always enjoyed the food but when me and my boyfriend went to lunch today our service was some of the worst service i have ever seen at a restaurant. We were given dirty looks by the staff and it honestly seemed like our server didn’t even wanna be there. She also slammed our plates down when our food got there and did not engage at all when we were talking to her.

Authentic Thai food, server was excellent. The food was absolutely amazing, tried the spring rolls and tge ginger salt wings, both were good. The wings were stunning, well cooked and full of flavor. My favorite, the green curry with chicken at level 3 was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of heat and tasted authentic. Will defintely be going back. I recommend you give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

My daughter and I were in tonight and got the Rangoons and drunkin noodles….DELICIOUS!! I was torn as to what to get, but our server Angela helped me make a great choice and made sure that we were happy with our choices before we left. Can’t say enough great things about the entire staff at pad Thai.

I very recently moved here from another state. Or first day here we decided to order in for dinner while we unpacked. Did a basic Google search and found Pad Thai Cafe. Ratings were good, pictures looked great so I ordered shrimp pad Thai level 3 spicy and my husband ordered the seafood pad Thai level 1. We also got crab Rangoon and OMG. I've always liked Thai food but this place is amazing! The portions are large, flavor is great. We've only been in TN for 2 weeks now and we've already been here twice and definitely plan on returning.

Pad Thai Cafe is the BEST in the Boro, without question. Their Shrimp Thai Dynamite is to die for!! (You can do shrimp, scallops, chicken, etc. - a ton of options) You can choose your spice level, 1-5. They’re always busy so plan to order 45 minutes ahead. Parking is always insane… there’s never a spot so you’ll have to park and walk over but it’s 110% worth it. This little place is seriously, mind blowingly good!

We have been coming here for years. The food is always phenomenal and the staff is always very friendly. We now live away from Murfreesboro, but any chance we get we will go out of our way to eat here! Beef Pad Thai and Ginger Salt Wings are my personal favorites. If I could give Pad Thai Cafe 6 stars I would!

I came here at night 30 mins before close and they were packed. I still got seated pretty quickly. I love that they give a complimentary ginger house salad, and the tofu red curry is AMAZING! This is the best curry I’ve ever had, and I love how the portions are a full size! The servers checked in on me consistently and thanked me for my visit. I highly recommend coming here.

Crab Rangoon & pad Thai is fire 🔥

I've loved this restaurant for years. I'd say best Thai food in Rutherford , most likely in Tennessee. Some Thai places are "good" but Pad Thai created dishes with unmatched flavor and freshness . I was used to getting the Drunken Noodle with shrimp. I hadn't been to the restaurant in a while and this time I got the crab rangoons which have bacon and mozzarella and I got the drunken noodle with beef . Man it was so delicious. Beef was tender and quality and got a huge portion . I don't know how they managed to get better since the food was already so good but this last meal was the best Thai I've ever had. Just amazing as always

This place does Thai/Lao cuisine better than anyone around. Been coming here for 10+ yrs and it remains consistently perfect. Truly special and worth the wait you may occasionally have on seating or take-out.

I went into the Asian Mini Market today not even knowing the restaurant was attached. I found everything I needed at the store and the cashier, Elijah, enticed me into the Cafe.
I saw Pad Thai on the menu and thought why not.
I ordered a chicken and a tofu pad Thai. Both were very good. Nice solid portions and fresh flavors!! I ordered a 3 (1-5 for hot levels) and it was perfect on the heat!!
Everything about it was good and tasty. I'll definitely throw this stop in my mix.

Coming from Chicago I’m accustom to some pretty nice Asian cuisine and Pad Thai cafe may just usurp my big city favorites. The spicy lemongrass stir fry is fresh & vibrant with a great array of heat and with a 1-5 heat scale (4) it can be customized to your liking. Pair it with a BeerLao and you can’t go wrong.

The Thai red curry, Pho, and drunken noodles were all loved by the rest of the table as well. Staff was friendly and social, shouts out to Elijah! Will definitely be back when possible

Seriously some of the best Thai food you are going to find anywhere. Their food never disappoints and there’s a reason you may have a two hour wait for takeout on a weekend evening.

You can’t go wrong with anything here, but if you’re looking for recommendations I HIGHLY recommend:
- ginger salt & jalapeño chicken wings (seriously the best wings in all of town??)
- crab rangoons
- beef pho
- drunken noodles
- dynamite stir fry
- yum salad with tuna

I have been going to Pad Thai Café for two or three years now. The food is always good. The service is hit and miss but after today, I probably will not ever go back. We got there about 1 o’clock on a Tuesday afternoon and the restaurant was full, which only seats about 30 people. They asked us to leave a number so they could call us when a table was available and were told it would be 15 minutes or less. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes and watched several people come out and go in with no call. So we left drove all the way back home which is about 45 minutes away. Still no phone call.

Great flavors! Thai dynamite beef and chicken wings were a hit. Will certainly eat here again, next time we're back in town.

Great little pad Thai place. I had the dynamite and there was barely any noodles in there and they were very overdone. Had a great taste though. I think our waiter was a little distracted and little bit unintentionally rude to my daughter . Restaurant is small and attached to an Asian market that is very cool. Seem mostly to do carry out

Gave the wrong order and they refused to replace my meal. I didn’t touch the food or anything, I told them I’d bring it back. They told me I had to order and pay for a whole new meal. Not coming back

Had fried dumplings, coconut soup (Thom kha),Ginger stir fry and drunken noodles between the two of us. Special shoutout on the drunken noodles. Definitely the best drunken noodles in Murfreesboro and everything else was fantastic too. Presentation is beautiful and you get a lot of food for your money. You can tell they put love and care into every dish. The vibe in the restaurant is cozy and dark(but not too dark) so it’s a great place for a date. Service was excellent, specifically the enthusiastic tall guy (don’t know his name). Wish we weren’t moving out of state so I could come back more…. and wish I came here sooner.

We decided to stop and pick up dinner on the way home. We thought we would try someplace new and wow this was a great choice. The staff is very friendly and the food was cooked perfectly, bursting with flavor. We will definitely make this a regular spot and bring our friends and family when they visit.

They need to just make a rule of NO to go orders on Fridays. They do not answer the phone and do not have an online order option. Just go ahead and say no phone orders if you’re not going to pick up.

With that being said. The food is great here. Best curry in town. It’s a much better experience dining in.

the food was good. The service was a little slow. I was seated at the bar which appeared to be an after thought for the wait service. Took a bit to put in my order and even though I asked for water twice from two different wait staff, I never received it. On the hand I got a good serving of food. The pad thai was good. It was served hot off the grill or wok.

Best food in town

Had the best first time experience at this boutique contemporary Thai restaurant in the Boro. The ambiance was great - laid back, comfortable, island like vibes and cool lighting. Had no idea the servings would be so huge, had to take half of everything home because of the substantial portions. I've never truly settled on an Asian restaurant in town but now I've found my go-to. Got the Thai ginger stir fry with beef and pad Thai noodles with chicken off the lunch menu along with the pan fried pork dumplings as an appetizer. Absolutely stunning preparation and freshness. The flavors and quality will definitely have me returning for more. Highly, highly recommend.

It is becoming more and more difficult to find not just good food out, but:
1. Great food
2. Class staff
3. Short wait to recieve an order
4. Cleanliness (both in the eating area and restrooms.
The well execute a great experience here in all these aspects. The staff was friendly, appeared to enjoy being there and working. We were promptly given a table (with a smile) and water brought. Ordering is easy. the menu is not a full-blown book. Our food was brought within a few minutes, and hot! (I hate hot food that sits until the temperature goes tepid and then brought. I am a rice guy who likes eating Asian style, and the rice was perfect, not flying(I hate flying rice). The tofu was perfectly done. Attention is given to all customers during the dining experience.

Now, my biggest gripe is usually cleanliness. It's NOT an issue here. Nothing needed to be picked up off the floor, no table food that needed to be cleaned off.

As everyone who has read previous my reviews, I give a huge "thumbs down" for nasty restrooms. A big "thumbs up" here. Even the hot water worked.

If I had any issues, it would be that they need a larger space and more parking. But all-in-all, kudos! As offen quoted, "I'll be back!"

I have been dining here for several times despite it takes me almost 40 minutes drive to get here. Every dish I have here is amazing. The price and quality of food is reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy. The service is good though there is some room for the servers attentiveness to be improved. Overall this is a great Thai restaurant that serves both authentic and fusion dishes. Highly recommend.
