The ThaiTen restaurant is a Thai/Lao restaurant located at 1229 N Minnesota Avenue, Sioux Falls SD.
Thai10 had wonderful Thai food in a relaxed environment. I got the spring rolls (huge, 3 shrimp in them!) which were delicious. We also got the pork and sticky rice, the pork was delicious and the sticky rice texture was perfect. I had the pad Thai and let me tell you: I'm picky about Pad Thai. I can always tell when the sauce is an afterthought. This Pad Thai was balanced and had the umami and sour flavors that need to be present. This is EXCELLENT Pad Thai, not just for South Dakota, but period.
We also got Thai tea and Thai coffee, and they were delicious.
Update: A friend and I got food poisoning after splitting two dishes from Thai10. I believe this was due to food handling/sanitation issues in the kitchen.
The staff were very helpful but due to this, I wouldn’t recommend, and would change my rating to 2 stars.

An enjoyable, fast-casual Thai restaurant. Friendly staff and quick turnaround. Food was hot and had decent flavor.
I LOVE going here!! We tend to end up here quite a bit...sometimes once a week...sometimes more...The Wings are a game changer...as are the Spring Rolls and Pork Jerky...and the sauces...Good Gracious they are wonderful!! I haven't had a bad meal there yet. The staff is always friendly too!!
A Laos and Thai restaurant that is a counter service. Clean restaurant. Very simple and limited menu. The portion is huge. Reasonably priced. We had larb which had not much flavors. The basil stir fry was average. And the special kebab was a bit too chewy due to the cut of the meat but the flavor was good. The Thai tea was good. Plenty of parking.
Whole family loved this place! I appreciate the order at the counter setup which accommodates those looking for a quicker meal. There is also plenty of seating for those looking to dine in. The staff were friendly and everyone enjoyed their meal. Appreciated the photo menu. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Excellent food and service. Can't wait to go back and try other meals.

Amazing food! Best Thai place in town by far!
Amazing restaurant!!! Workers were polite, amazing atmosphere!!! Highly recommend!!!!
For those that enjoy Chinese, this is Thai. Chinese flavor can get lost in the sauce in some restaurants. Not here. Genuine flavor in all of the meals. Choose your own degree of heat and spice. They certainly will oblige.
Wonderful little Thai spot. Their food is pretty authentic but not too spicy for the Midwest yet they can make it as hot as you want by request. Authentic flavor and fresh ingredients.
Food was ok, I will probably look for another place if I get back to SD
Yummy red curry with a good spice.
Everything was so good. The people are extremely nice!
Siblings got pork ribs sticky rice and spring rolls and bubble tea. Everything was super delicious and the young lady who assisted us was a delight. This was our 4th time here and will be back.
Tom Yum was great!
Delicious food with quick service. I first thought the prices were high, but the portions they bring you absolutely justify the price. Give them a try!
I loved this place, such a small hole in the wall especiallya great option near the airport. I'd recommend the Pad See Ewe (Drunken Noodles), the wide rice noodles are made every morning from scratch and that is so uncommon and so delicious. The pineapple fried rice is quite unique with a curry powder and might not be for everyone. The spring rolls and crab rangoons are also very well done. Portions are nearly 2 meals worth so we're glad they had nice containers.
Great soup and pad thai
The food was great, Met and chit chatted with the owner and cook. Only issue I had was that if you paid with card the prices are different and not finding out until you go to pay. example (meal costs 13.79, if using card it comes to 14.27. same goes for drinks)
Was kind of put off by no disclaimer, or anything saying price difference from cash/card.
Yea the food proportions where smaller, besides those two things id eat there again
Food is always good.
The red curry was AMAZING! Hands down my favorite. Egg rolls were hot and crispy AND I could actually tell there was pork in them unlike other egg rolls which shall go unnamed. Pad see ew had amazing caramelization on the noodles. The potatoes in the yellow curry were delicious. Tom ka gai soup was wholesome and nourishing, with a touch of sour and enough heat to make me sweat a little. Every dish had a nice slow heat that wasn't overwhelming but definitely let you know it was there.
To top it all off the service is very welcoming. The staff was friendly and EXCITED for us to try their food. Such a change from restaurants that could care less.
Staff was friendly and very accommodating! We got the pad thai and it was okay. Pad Thai was quite salty, needed more sugar, and lime. Overall not bad, average Thai food experience.
Exceptional!! Everything was delicious 🥰
Had the Drunken Noodle special and crab Rangoon. The noodles have a little spice, but I liked it. The crab Rangoon has great flavor. Enjoyed both!
The best chicken wings and sticky rice! The wings are HUGE and such delish tasting. The meal comes with 3 pieces of chicken along with a plentiful bag of rice. I can easily have 2 meals out of it! The side sauce is not for the light-hearted either. I have yet to try the other food they offer...it is some of the best Laotian food in Sioux Falls. They will not disappoint!
Drunken noodles and pork jerky were amazing. Would also highly recommend the pineapple and sticky rice for dessert
Thai10 is a fantastic spot! The restaurant is clean and welcoming, which I really appreciated. Even though they didn’t have mango sticky rice, they kindly offered to make pineapple sticky rice, and it was soooo yummy! Their pineapple fried rice and pad thai were also delicious, and I loved that they let me customize the spice level. The fact that they provide chopsticks was a nice touch, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Great food and a great atmosphere—I’ll definitely be back!
Very good egg rolls
True family owned business with excellent food and little wait. Not a fancy location, comfortable and friendly instead. Will definitely be back. Thanks so much for the good food!
Great food , never been disappointed. Best Thai food around .
Thai Ten makes the best spring rolls I’ve ever had! I’ve tried many dishes here and they are all authentic and delicious. Highly recommended!!
Staff is very friendly. Food is delicious and very decently priced. Good sized portions.
The weekly specials are really good.
Amazing food, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. Definitely one of our new favorites now. Can’t wait to try everything on their menu!
Service was amazing. Food was even better. I’ll definitely be back.
I’ve been twice in the last week. I have good opinions on things. You should eat here
Been here twice, ordered the special each time, super flavorful and feesh!
My new fave restaurant, the lychee flavored bursting bubble tea is also fantastic! Thank you for what you do, so nice to have authentic Thai food again! 🙏
All the tables were dirty but they were dead. Order two entrees and 3 drinks $50. Asked to please not make food spicy it was very spicy. The wings were not cooked all the way.
The cashier was unfriendly.
Pulled in because I heard this place had authentic Thai food. I got there at nine just as they were closing and the staff was more than willing to help and cook food. Even the grandma came up to me when she thought I was leaving said “no I will make you food”.
Really Hospitable family, and The food looks really good. Can’t wait to try it.
This place is amazing! Friendly and ready to help staff, they go above and beyond for their customers and for their business!! I was so excited to find somewhere I can order sticky rice fresh and ready! It may be a limited menu, but the best little combination of Lao and Thai food in town! The menu IS NOT overwhelming to read! For those of us who are indecisive, this is absolutely wonderful! They even have Boba!! Located in an area that needed some diverse food options!! I can’t say enough great things about this place!! 100/10 recommenddd
Idk how they’ve made this former Subway into such a homey and comfortable environment (probably has to do with Pink Floyd playing and there being kids toys all over one of the tables) but it’s so relaxed in here. Best pad thai and crab rangoons I’ve ever had. The ‘goons are fresh and thin and crispy and I have dreams about them.
mouth-watering fast Thai with excellent customer service !
Delicious 🤤 no more needs to be said !! Staff is very friendly
My friends weren’t lying when they said pretty much everything is good🤝🏾
We ordered a soup and the pork ribs, Thai tea and coffee, water and egg rolls. It was $40. Soup was salty and a bit spicy, but otherwise luke warm and flavorless. The chicken in it was tough. Ribs were dry, tough and flavorless. The drinks were AWFUL. We left them sitting on the table. For decent Thai I recommend Pho Thai.
This place is an absolute GEM!
The staff is always super friendly and has made several suggestions regarding the menu.
Pad Kee Mao is an absolute MUST try. Spicy, but not overwhelming, with a great mix of ground pork and rice with green beans and I think thai basil? - SIMPLY OUTSTANDING
The Pork Candy is fire with the sticky rice and the jeow (salsa type consistency with cilantro and a great hint of spice).
The wings are cooked to perfection with a delightful crisp texture accompanied by their sticky rice (get extra, you're welcome).
The Pad Thai is very good if you like that, but be adventurous and try some of the curries and aforementioned dishes.
The ONLY slight complaint is their is a bunch of things not put away and seems a bit messy.
It doesn't affect the flavors or my recommendations, just a little more attention to detail in the dining room (and some oriental flair) would be a welcome addition to an incredible menu and amazing service.
We tried the Pork Belly Special and Pork Jerky as well as the Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls. The appetizers were great! The meals were good but a little spicy for our taste. We are excited to try the Curry and other dishes next
time! I also tried the Strawberry Lychee boba tea, which the daughter makes herself….so amazing! The bobas are usually too aggressive for me but these were so delicate! Very friendly staff. We felt welcome.
The food is great! I especially enjoyed the spring rolls 😊 the next time I come I'm filling up on those!
Loovvveeee iittttttt!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
I can't give a full 5. I've been here 4 times and each time they've forgotten my order or completely gave me someone elses order. Not sure if there is miscommunication between the cashier and the food area but it's happened 4 times in a row.
That being said, the food is fantastic. Definitely makes me feel like I'm eating family traditional food. I just wish the service matched the taste.
I still 100% recommend eating here. The taste definitely makes up for the service issues.
Food feels very authentic, with the Pad Kee Mao cooked to order. The egg rolls were a little bit greasy, but still packed with flavor. The sticky rice with the Jeow is fantastic! The only real complaint that I have is the pork jerky, which came from their hot plate/warmer, was cold. Otherwise, it all tasted great!
First off I will say the customer service is great here. The man who served us was very kind and polite. However, the food was nothing special and average at best. We had the spring rolls and pad Thai. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great either.
Best Thai food in Sioux Falls. No one comes close. They got Boba too
Amazing food! Amazing service!
My husband, daughter and myself went to this restaurant for the first time. The food was amazing. We each had a different dish and we all enjoyed the dishes we ordered. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be returning!
I stopped in for lunch and a brother and sister greeted me. I asked for a suggestion and they talked me into the special.- pork skewers. They did not disappoint. Everything was fresh made and delicious.
Thw owner, Ruth talked with me and told me about their family. I felt welcomed and appreciated.
Stop for the amazing food, stay for the great staff!
This place is amazing. The food is authentic and tastes like homemade. The servings are huge and inexpensive. I don't know how they can get by giving out as much food as they do for so little money. They also make boba not just give you a drink that was made in a factory. Everything is made right there in house. The people who work there are extremely friendly. I have found my favorite place to eat.
Best Pad Thai I've had, large portions, probably could have split a dish between the two of us. Loved the spring rolls, they would make a good meal for lunch by themselves.
Great food, fast food-style thai with tasty classics. They also have the official asian food dish of South Dakota: Crab Rangoon, which is neither Thai nor from Rangoon, but they do do a tasty version.
Top notch Thai Food! The green curry is warming and delicious, and just right with the spice. The Spring Rolls are HUGE! With a drive thru to boot, easy recommend for a quick lunch or take out dinner date!
I just ordered food to go as I had heard nothing but rave reviews about this place. I got pineapple fried rice and the rice was old and dried out like it had been under a heat lamp for way too long. I'm glad I didn't chip a tooth. It was served with like 8 pieces of pineapple on top and a bunch of tomato which I was glad for the moisture it added to the meal. I found one piece of chicken in the whole thing but that might have just been a mistake and there wasn't supposed to be any chicken in there at all, I'm not sure. There might have been more peanuts in there than rice. Looking at the other pictures on here I definitely got whatever they scraped from the bottom of a barrel because that food looks way better. The crab rangoon was 3 pathetic and small pieces that tasted pretty good until the rancid oil taste dominated the flavor. Spring roll was pretty good.
This multigenerational family owned business is a gem! The service and friendliness were great! The spring roles are some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend.
Green curry chicken soup and spring rolls 25$. Bowl almost half full and a is a smaller bowl unlike you get at the local Vietnamese restaurants. Food was ok flavor just a little on the small side of portions. Curry is a bit bland compared to other similar places. I would stick to the Vietnamese places.
Great place for Thai food! Service was the Best. Very clean environment. Staff
are very polite. Food is delicious and priced right. Will come back!!
Best thai in South Dakota!
Just had the weekend special kaopoon (curry noodle soup) today and it was delish! The owners are super sweet. Some of my favs here include pork ribs with sticky rice, papaya salad, laab beef/chicken and eggrolls. I love supporting local businesses and I would recommend you check them out!
We finally got to try pad Thai, chicken wings, ribs and sticky rice from Thaitensxf and I was not disappointed. Don’t forget about their ice coffee and lychee raspberry drinks. Great authentic food with friendly staff. We drove from Sioux City and we will definitely be coming back for more.
The food was delicious, if you want authentic food, come check them out. 😋
Good food. The dine in experience isn't the best but the food quality makes up for it.
Great selection! I ordered the red curry and yellow curry to go. I had my food in less than 5 minutes.
AND I had a conversation with one of the owners about gardening. That was my first time there, and I felt like I belonged. Like I had been going there forever. That was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last!!!
Wonderful food, awesome people.
I love the food. Highly recommend!
So delicious and fresh!
Great egg rolls. The best crab Rangoon I have ever had!
All the food I've tried is very delicious and the staff is very friendly & helpful.
Thai 10 for sure going to be the top for some good authentic Asian food love this place!
Best Thai restaurant in town!
We love Thai food and Thai10 does a fantastic job in giving us a fast and convenient way to enjoy this delicious cuisine. The staff welcomes you like family and they couldn’t be any more wonderful. Check them out… you’ll be back again!
So glad a Thai/Lao restaurant opened up here. Great service and even better owners. The food was delicious and authentic. Reminded me of eating my grandmas cooking!
Amazing service and atmosphere!
So good and fresh!
Food is so good everytime I go. I live close by amd live to other places to eat. I choose this place everytime. Good on the taste buds as well as the pocket. The staff is very welcoming
Absolutely delicious and fantastic service!
This is one of my favorite restaurants i go too for some good thia food plus every one so friendly they treat you like family. They have some amazing juices too!
Great little Thai restaurant! They make excellent Pho as a special from time to time.
Very friendly owners.
The food was so good, must come try
The pad thai was delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious Thia/Loa food!
The Pad Thai, Sticky Rice, and Egg Rolls were amazing. Great food. I love the booth style set up for seating. Thanks so much for spicing it just right.
The food was spot on and I was treated very well.
Great food, great service.

Such great, fresh, and well rounded flavors in all of the dishes I have tried- pad Thai, yellow curry, crab Rangoon, spring roll, and fried pork belly (special of the week). Will definitely eat here again!
A friend mentioned this restaurant. We tried it and it is incredibly delicious food. The pad kee Mao was soo good. The egg roll was really good as well. The perfect balance of flavor and spicy. We loved it.
Amazing!
Awesome experience! Friendly people, great food, and an inviting establishment. Thank you. Definitely coming back.
The kindest staff, the most delicious, authentic Thai food! I love this place! Their prices are amazing and portion sizes are generous! I highly recommend this as an affordable and delicious option in Sioux Falls!
Recommend food: Pad Kra Pao, Red Curry, Pad Thai
Recommendation Drinks: Thai Tea and Green Tea Mango
Whole family loved this place! I appreciate the order at the counter setup which accommodates those looking for a quicker meal. There is also plenty of seating for those looking to dine in. The staff were friendly and everyone enjoyed their meal. Appreciated the photo menu. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Authentic food! Great service and portions!
Love The Food!!
Sooo good
So yummy! The drunken noodle was amazing!
Very great service. Very clean. Staff was very helpful when telling me about their food, and I loved their pork belly.
Deb J
Thanks for the great food!!! The weekend special was great and so flavorful everything was great... Thanks
Food is really great. Next time I would rather do take out. Space isn't very comfortable. I ate the drunken noodles and would highly recommend.
Absolutely Great Service Great Food Definitely will be back🙂👍
Super sweet family, phenomenal food and great service. Best Thai restaurant in town!
Got some take out pad Thai and it was very delicious and the staff was suoer nice. Highly recommended.
The food was amazing! It was delicious and hot. The portions are nice too, as we all had yummy left overs for tomorrow. The service was also nice, the staff were nice and brought out food out to us. They were very attentive.
I absolutely love the food!!!
So far I've tried the spring rolls, the crab ragoon, and the pad thai. The spring rolls are huge and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try more of the menu!!
Amazing experience & awesome food! Highly recommend.
I love this place! Family run business and you can taste the pride in their food. Cannot get enough. NumNum.
10 Stars!
Crab Rangoons are delicious! The "shell" is nice light and flaky! The CRAB is CRABING!!!
I go the Drunk Noodles! Perfect Noodles to Veggies ratio! The flavor is fresh which I look for! Noodles are cooked perfectly, NOT mushy!!!!
The place is modern in their decorating!! Love it. The service is perfect!
I'm a sucker for a family functioning restaurant!!!
Love 🥰
We enjoyed the pad Thai, yellow curry and egg rolls. Everything was delicious! Staff was very friendly and service was great! Would like to see the restaurant use less plastic and less styrofoam. Highly recommend! We hope to be back soon!
Delicious and wonderfully authentic! I love that it is a family run place. The service was great. They were really friendly and more than willing to tell you all about the different food options. The fresh spring rolls were some of the best I've had and very fresh. We ordered the Pad Kra Pao-ground pork stir fry with green beans and spices- amazing flavor. We also ordered the Pad Thai and the Pad Kee Mao which were both delicious, and very comforting on a cold day. The only thing I would say needs improvement is having better utensils and plates available for dine in. No plates were made available, so we ate out of the to go containers and the utensils were too small and poor quality, like the fork was "melting" from the heat of the food which made it tricky to eat. Those are very easy fixes and honestly, I'm glad that is the only negative. So glad this is here, Sioux Falls really needed this as a dining option. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying their other dishes.
I was very impressed! Being unfamiliar with Thai food, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Pad Kee Mao had great flavor and spice that wasn't overwhelming but very tasty. And the fresh made Thai tea with boba complemented the meal perfectly! I'll definitely be back. I'm a fan!
I really wanted to love this place but they only gave two SMALL pieces of chicken in $15 pad thai. Also many other people who came after and ordered the pad thai and their orders came out first(maybe family and friends promising 5 stars??). 2 small free egg rolls given while i waited, but sadly they were mushy gross greasy with nothing but grease soaked rice noodles inside... thanks but sorry, i do appreciate the gesture but i have to be honest would not pay so much $$$ for that. The tom kha was ok, but lacking enough flavor and very small size for $10 overall for the long 25 minute wait and $30 later i felt used and still quite malnourished. I long for the day we get real thai food in sioux falls!!! Maybe in another 10 years. This is laotian style..
The wife and I finally got a kid-free night so that we could try this place. We have been excited since the announcement that they were coming to our neighborhood! I had the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), wife had the Pad Thai, and we also got spring rolls and crab rangoon. All was amazing. The rangoon has REAL crab, and the spring rolls could stand alone as a quick meal. The staff and cooks are all happy, friendly people, and we felt welcomed. We will be back!
The food was amazing! I ordered red curry and pad thai. There was a lot of flavor and serving size perfect. The Thai tea was soooo delicious! I had to get another one to go! I will definitely be back.
Nice to have another choice for dinner a friendly, casual atmosphere.
Pad thai and tofu
Thai 10 was delicious! If you are unsure of what to get, go with an order of the Pad Thai. It's noodles with chicken and some veggies. It's absolutely delicious and I'm glad I came here! It reminds me of the Pad Thai i would eat in San Diego. Once you order, they will ask you if it's for here to sit down and enjoy or to-go. What's even better is if you eat there and don't finish your dish, you already have the container to take the left overs home. And they do have soda products in cans to grab from a fridge and add to your order. Also, there is a table top station in the center set up with utensils, large napkins, etc., should you choose to eat there. Will be back for the Pad Thai again!
Loved the drunken noodles, pork jerky, taro milk tea, and red curry. The restaurant smells amazing and has a cute family vibe to it. It's super clean and I'm super glad I came here the other night with my friend.
Very friendly service, lots of made to order dishes which is really convenient. Best Thai food in SF for my money
The food was very delicious
And the customer service was excellent.
I’ve grown up with a Laos step dad my entire life and had the quality of enjoying traditional Thai/ Laos cuisine growing up, I had the pork ribs with sticky rice, and the papaya salad, I’m not lieing when I say the food brought me back to my childhood family dinners! Great home style cooking!
Best food hands down!
food is bussin
Really good I must say for being the 1st time here. Will be back for sure.
Everything was amazing, and I would come again. Definitely recommend it🩷🩷🩷
I've been here twice now, and the food has been amazing. First time I went, I had the yellow curry. So good! This time, I had the pork jerky w/ sticky rice. The jeow that comes with it, at first it's a bit spicy, but it's very tasty. I got a taro boba, as well. Very good! I highly recommend this place.
Workers were friendly. Ordered the"Drunken noodles", egg rolls, sticky rice, and crab Rangoon. The egg rolls and sticky rice were alright. The drunken noodles had over cooked chicken with mushy noodles that were also over cooked and the crab Rangoon were soggy and greasy. Was excited to try but ended up disappointed.
A nice, cozy, cheap place to eat delicious food.
I’m originally from Thailand. Our first time there! I ordered papaya salad(Lao style) and chicken wings, husband ordered pineapple chicken fried rice. These pictures were taken at home. Pineapple fried rice, the rice was too wet. And not a good portion(for fried rice) the place offers the express food. And the food is Laotian style. Not quite close to the Thai taste.
Best Restaurant,Really enjoy !~ Everybody must go!!!!
