I recently visited Pho Thai on a Thursday for a to-go order, and I had a great experience. There was no crowd that day, so it was really quiet and relaxed. The receptionist greeted me warmly, which set a nice tone for the visit. My order was ready in no time—likely due to the lack of a rush, but I was impressed with how quickly everything came together. The portion sizes were generous, and the taste definitely lived up to my expectations. The food was flavorful and satisfying, making it totally worth recommending! If you're in the area, I’d definitely suggest giving it a try.

This is by far one of my favorite places in town. The staff are always super kind and welcoming, food comes out at a reasonable time, and is always fresh and hot. Prices may seem a bit high at first glance but for the amount of food you will get is very worth it. You will not be disappointed in this place. This place does it right on all levels. This trip I had the Chicken Pho (level 5/10), but in previous visits I’ve also ordered the sesame chicken and it has all been amazing; as usual, this visit the Pho temp and flavors were spot on as I hoped they would be.

I went to the Pho Thai in downtown Sioux Falls and was not impressed with the food I got there. I was chatting with someone at work who said Pho Thai West is one of her favorite restaurants and to give it a try. So I did. I got the Thai Ice Tea and it was great, just what it should taste like. The one negative to me is that it came in a plastic disposable cup even though I was dining in. (I would have preferred a glass, nicer and more environmentally friendly.) The Panang shrimp curry was flavorful, had a nice spice level, and was generous in the portions. I did order different dishes than I had at their other branch so it may be hit or miss. The menu at this restaurant has less on it, which may be a good thing in that perhaps what they do offer, they make better. Looking at another table, the pineapple fried rice comes in half a pineapple so I want to come back to try that dish. The service was good too.

I stopped in and had the seafood Pho. Other than the squid being overcooked and rubbery, it was tasty.

The servers were helpful, friendly and the food came out quickly.

I would eat here again and try something different next time.

This place is way under-hyped! Every dish I've tried here is fresh and delicious, it's affordable with big portion sizes and DELICIOUS.

Consistently the best, most friendly service in town! My only complaint is that the calamari in the fried calamari appetizer is not real and that should be disclosed on the menu.

Hands down the best resturant in Sioux Falls. Service is amazing and super helpful for any changes to a dish. Food is fantastic to say the least, best asian food in the state. The most surprising aspect was how consistent the food is every time, never had a bad or medicore meal, great every time. The menu selection is also huge, including thai, vietnam, china, and more. This is probably the best Thai restaurant in Sioux Falls. We had fresh spring rolls, calamari, a vermicelli noodle pork/shrimp bowl, pad see ew, an excellent curry, and my play-it-safe son had orange chicken. Everything was excellent. Not heavy, not oversweet, real bright Thai flavors. Even the Thai tea was excellent, not heavy. We have a favorite Thai place in Minneapolis, this is right up there. Large portions, quick service, good prices, great all around.

The food here was fantastic, and so was the service. We were there for lunch. Greeted as soon as we opened the door and seated right after. The menue has a lot of options. I had the Special Pho, which was very good. My wife had the Shrimp Vermicelli, and she really enjoyed it as well. We also had the Satay Chicken for an appetizer and that was also very good.

The service was fantastic. Our server was very nice and attentive. Drinks were never empty, and he made sure we had everything we needed.

We will definitely be coming back here.

The worst Vietnamese food I've ever tried. There is nothing that resembles food from Vietnam.

I had heard about Pho Thai West from a friend and decided to try it out. The pho was "pho"nominal! The broth was flavorful, the beef was tender and it tasted fresh. My friend, who accompanied me, enjoyed Seafood Pho. She said the seafood was a tad overcooked. She said she would recommend the Pho, but stick to the original. The service was great and the men who served us answered any questions we had. The food was out hot, and quick, ready to eat.

Pho Thai is a great experience overall - great food, amazing service and the nicest casual atmosphere for those looking for a nice family dinner

The food here is phenomenal and full of flavor.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. The food was exceptional, made fresh with high quality ingredients. The staff was incredibly friendly and approachable. I did a carry out order this time but the restaurant looked really nice and I'm looking forward to coming back to dine in. I told the guy that I was a little disappointed that they did not have pad kra pao and he let me know that they do, they just call it thai basil because most people don't know what pad kra pao is unless they've been to Thailand. I'm definitely coming back for that and some sticky rice. This place is great. You won't be disappointed.

By far the best Thai food in Sioux Falls! The last time I had this level of Thai food was in Seattle, WA!

Everything was above average and love the food.

Amazing!! The restaurant was clean and well lit. Food came out very hot and massive portions. We got the chicken fried rice, pho, orange chicken, and sesame chicken, and a couple bubble teas (loved the green tea bubble tea!). Every dish had AMAZING flavor. 1 plate could easily feed 2 people! Staff was very kind and even topped off my pho broth for my left overs!
They also helped celebrate my friends birthday by giving her a free lava cake with ice cream and singing a little song.

Absolutely delicious. I got the red curry and spring rolls and they were scrumptious.so warm and spicy and filling. The subtle hint of coconut milk cuts the spice perfectly. No notes.

This is the best food in town! Cran Rangoons are the best by far compared to other places. We have had the drunken noodles and Pad Thai (order them at a level 2 spicy). The General Tso's is the best and the Pho is great.

First time at this location and they were so nice. They apologized for the food not being ready when we got there but we were early. The food was amazing and just what we wanted. Definitely want to come back and dine in.

My kids and I LOVE Pho Thai on Phillips and were happy to try out the location off Louise Avenue. The kids think the food is even better here. Very delicious!

I can't tell you about anything else on the menu other than what i ordered,the general tos chicken with fried rice that came with crab ragoon was soooo good .I will definitely be back and unlike other places in this city I have leftovers so one meal is actually like two meals and for the price and taste it is definitely worth it ,also the guy that took my order was super friendly and kind .I will definitely be back
