The Thai food here at Royal Bistro was fantastic, but beyond that I would go back again purely to enjoy the owner and his comedy.

This is a very dressed down, simply decorated restaurant so it doesn’t look like much, especially from the outside. But the quality of the food along with the service makes up for all of it.

Our waiter (who we figured out is also the owner) was THE most adorable, sweet man. So gentle and literally never not smiling the entire time we were there. And boy did he have jokes- he was so fun to be around we probably would’ve stayed just to hang with him more!

But the food- it was also quite good. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they had. I got the sweet and sour with shrimp and it was exactly what I had hoped it’d be. Royal Bistro is a hidden gem in a splendid crown!

Some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. Fresh, light, and good quality! One of my favs Royal Seafood! Mango chicken also delicious. And all the curries are excellent. The owners are so kind as well - always friendly and excellent service!

Was feeling spicy Thai food when I left the nail shop. I googled for recs and selected Royal Thai. I was warmly greeted. My questions were answered enthusiastically. I was offered a beverage while waiting, and if I wanted a top off before leaving. Food was fresh and delicious! Will recommend and definitely go back to try something different next time.

How on earth did this place get 4.8 stars! Wow most people must not know what true Thai food is. I grew up in Asia and have eaten at lots of Thai restaurants. The food here was not at all Thai. It was some semblance of Chinese stir fry! We ordered the Papaya Salad - and it had no flavor. Then we ordered two of their sautéed dishes and there was barely any sauce. When I asked them to bring more gravy, they brought some hoisin sauce mixed with water! The vegetables were super-raw! I didn't order a salad, I ordered a stir fry! The service was good and the soups were good. But I would not recommend this restaurant as a Thai restaurant. I would not go back.

Don’t get fooled by the reviews... food was way below average .. we tried pineapple fried rice which was stinky and not as good as we would have loved to .. in fact the whole restaurant was stinking .. panang curry was not so good and very less quantity for the price .. we couldn’t even finish the side rice .. don’t trust their online menu prices.. the actual prices in store are Atleast 4-5$ above and it’s not updated on the website … definitely not gng back ..

Definitely a hidden gem!! I look for restaurants around the city and when I see one over 4 stars I check them out. I love Thai food and can taste the difference between the good, the bad and the ugly. This one is a great experience. Service was over the top, food was excellent and ambiance was homely. It will look like a dentist's office from the outside and even inside is not heavily decorated but you get a homely feel with amazing food. What else do you seek? Definitely give them a try. You will enjoy the experience!

They decreased amount of food and quality. Had panang curry n fried rice. Both in one container. Had noodles n fried rice, both not at spice level I ordered and lowered quantity. Overall not feeling like going here again.

It’s a quaint little place at Spalding Center. I wouldn’t call it the best place for Thai but it does the job. I found the green curry that I ordered a bit salty as though there was some soy in it. But I loved the fresh basil rolls!! They also make it vegetarian!

The Massaman curry was very good, but it was the small bowl of coconut soup that came with it that blew my mind. Can’t wait to come back and get a larger bowl.

We had a couple of dinners at this restaurant and the food was awesome although we found it a little pricey for the proportions and the ambience! Today we went for lunch and ordered Basil fried rice and Panang curry. The price was $12 for vegetarian option, but the proportions were KIDS SIZE!!! We both came hungry and left hungry and wouldn’t come back not because of the food, but for the outrageously low proportions.

I know you guys are here to do business, but it is a humane obligation to make sure that customers are fed appropriately when that’s how you are making money!!!!

I found this Thai restaurant just outside Peachtree Corners and decided to give it a try. For the entree I ordered the combo/seafood pared with the Black Peppper Garlic saute and a salad w/ginger dressing. I'm not a fan of eating alone, but when I go out of town I like to try new restaurants and this place did not disappoint. This dish was off the chain and the service was great. If you find yourself in the area and like Thai food you should give them a try.

Food is great, good quality authentic Thai. Basil rolls are outstanding and I can't stop coming back for more noodle dishes. It is much more suited to carryout than for dining in, as you will see by the huge number of dashers coming and going if you decide to sit down for a meal.

Gotta say this place has the best Pad Thai in the area. Portion may look small but they are sooo good and will fill your stomach no problem. Love the manager who is very friendly.

Stopped there because of the reviews and just had to meet the wait staff everyone talks about. They did not disappoint at all. Food was phenomenal, and the server was just like people said. He was amazingly funny and took great care of us. I wish I took photos of the food but was more interested in enjoying it!

Came for lunch twice. The first time I ordered a stir fry “hot”. It had a nice flavor but was pretty mild. The second time I ordered the masaman curry “hot”, and it was not only mild but so bland it had almost no flavor. Perhaps some of their other dishes stand out, but it’s hard to make myself go back and try them when a dish like masaman seems flavorless.

Got take-out from here today and it was delicious. Went with the drunken noodles and spring rolls and they were both great! Was a bit surprised that a soup came with it, I ended it up not eating it as I was quite full from the spring rolls and noodles. Can't comment on the service other than the man who took the order was very friendly. One small item to note is that they have a health score of 89, which is a bit concerning. Hopefully it was something structural with the restaurant and not food related.

I love Royal Thai. They've been around forever and I go whenever I'm in the area. Their nam tok is so good. Their drunken noodles is my favorite. Get these in Thai hot level. The catfish is also another yummy dish. The staff is always friendly.

Love this Thai restaurant. The matredee took my order timely. And chatted with me for 5 mins. Then my order came out. The Thai tea had such wonderful aroma. The restaurant is blingy and fab. So much to appreciate about Royal Bistro. The food was good, great flavor. I ordered with little spice the Pad Thai. I recommend if you like spice, try more spicy- either medium or Thai spice. Since I'm usually alone when I eat Thai food, I've tried many places. None does it as well as Royal Bistro. Thank you Shine and Team!

My husband and I tried Royal Thai Bistro yesterday, and we absolutely loved it! We ordered shrimp pad Thai, shrimp basil fried rice, shrimp rolls and spring rolls. We also had house salad with ginger dressing, lemonade and Thai tea. Everything was bursting with flavor, including the sauces! Also, Bright provided excellent customer service and helpful suggestions. We will definitely be back!

Small restaurant but really good food. If they can increase the fride rice quantity for which we are pay8ng 15$ then it will be a 5 star.

I happened to be on this side of town for work and looked up this amazing Thai spot. At lunch time I was able to get a great seat and service was spectacular. I ordered the panang curry, which was lovely, and the soup was also stellar. The sweet tea was brewed dark and sweet...oh my, so good! I can't wait to go back to visit again!

I was wanting to try something new and found this place! I ordered the drunken noodle online, however I ordered it too spicy and I was not able to enjoy it. I took it back the next day and I was greeted with amazing customer service! They remade me a new one and gave me a drink. I love places that have exceptional customer service! The food was delicious as well! I will be visiting again!

I ordered their Thai Basil Rice with Tofu and a side of house salad in Ginger dressing. Love love love this restaurant! Their Thai Basil Rice hits the spot. I loved their ginger dressing, however, it was served with iceberg lettuce - not a big fan because of zero nutritional value. I would recommend this spot for great Thai takeout food.

I decided to try this place based on the the positive reviews and the fact that I was craving some Tom Yum Soup. I arrived at about 10mins until their closing and the gentleman was extremely pleasant and helpful. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup with shrimp and some chicken basil fried rice. I love the fact that you can order the rice based on your own spice level preference. I ordered it hot and it did not disappoint. It was probably the best Basil fried rice I've ever eaten. The Tom Yum Soup was a huge disappointment because that was my ultimate reason for going. It was tasteless and bland. I ordered a large and it had three shrimps and six mushrooms. There was no spice nor flavor. Despite my disappointment in the soup, I would definitely order again.

Great spot! Its a smaller restaurant. It only seats about 30. It was about half capacity when I went. The server was very attentive and polite, and my food came quickly. I started with the spring rolls. Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely good. For my entree, I did the Pad Thai with tofu. All was tasty. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

Based on other reviews tried out Royal Bistro for dinner. Went with the fresh basil roll and the basil fried rice with shrimp and some Tom Yum soup. The young man who took my order was very nice and took great care of me. I really enjoyed the basil roll and basil rice w/shrimp, great flavors and there were no leftovers. The Tom Ka soup was sadly boring with a dull flavor and no spice or chili oil.

I gotta admit, I love Royal Thai. I had the Panang Curry, with chicken and the coconut soup. It was exactly what I was expecting. Delicious and just the right proportions. Great service, good food... How can you go wrong?

Really good Thai food in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. The Honey Duck and Panang Curry Chicken was so delicious. My wife ordered the Pad See Yoo and really enjoyed it as well. We ordered take out, when I walked in to pick up the food, the restaurant (while small and unassuming) smelled amazing, I knew the food was going to be on point. Highly recommend this place!

We get takeout once or twice a month from here. The food is always good. When they give an estimated time when the order will be ready, they have never been late. Prices are reasonable, and it is nice to be able to customize the order to the degree they allow.

This is our go to Thai place, especially for take out! The staff are always so kind. Royal Bistro is super quick and we normally get our orders within 20 minutes or so. I love that I can personalize how spicy my dish is. My favorite is their chicken pad Thai with veggies.

I ordered pad woon sen. Hands down this tastes exactly like Benjarong Thai's version in WA state! The absolute best, most flavorful dish and it's spot on. In the 9 years I've lived in GA, nothing has come close to my expectation with the exception of Royal Bistro. I'm a first time customer and found them through Door Dash. So happy! I was craving basil rolls last week and went to a Thai restaruant in Norcross I had been to many times in the past 10 years. They were out of BR. But, I still had that craving and I had never been to Royal Bistro, and they were close to where I was driving. I got my BR and they were awesome!!! The service was perfection. I highly recommend. If ever I am in the area again, I look forward to trying more of their food.

Just ordered the sauté ginger vegetable dish spicy hot. But it was like steamed vegetables with no flavor of ginger or hot sauce. Also the spring rolls were not good or no flavor. Today was just waist of money and food. The Loving Hut Vegan restaurant in the same complex has good spring rolls and other good vegan Thai dishes.

Yum! Great for lunch take out. Wasn't as good at dinner time (wondered if it was a different chef). Delicious food and easy online ordering / pick up.

The place has a nice ambiance and the people who work there are really nice. I actually came back to try their food because of how nice the people who worked there were when I came with a friend before. The food was really good as well. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you are in the area or if you are not order delivery.

Very friendly place. When I was there, the owner who served was very busy due to number of customers. Even then, he was smiling all the time. Whenever food delivery services came to pick up food, the owner offered water to drink as they waited. When I was the last remaining customer, we were having great conversation about life and his principles of life. Great guy. Good food. Can't find anything to complain.

This food is not made properly. I ordered the drunken noodle and the only thing drunken on it was oil! They had bell peppers, cabbage and onions in it and they were crunchy! The quality is terrible! Do not go there if you've had authentic Thai food. You will be very disappointed, trust!!

Very disappointed this time .. the Salmon was not seasoned and DRY , the Tom Yum was flavorless the ginger salad was very sweet . The dinner was BAD.we are not going to order food from them again

This review is looong over due. I feel bad for taking so long to post something for such an amazing neighborhood spot! I have been to Royal Bistro Thai a number of times over the years and their food is consistently really good. I have had their spring rolls, coconut soup and panang curry, and love all dishes. The sweet & sour sauce they serve with their spring rolls is perfection. The coconut soup, I could drink a bucket of!...lol... The service is excellent. One gentleman in particular, who is usually at the register, is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. He always offers me something to drink while I'm waiting for my takeout. He has the level of hospitality that you get when you go to a friend's home and their parents are just so sweet and doting. I always leave this place feeling so good, no matter what kind of day I've had. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would!

Royal Bistro is my go to Thai restaurant. Their food is amazing and the staff is always very welcoming.

This is first time ordering from this restaurant. The delivery was fast. The food was very good but I wish there was a beverage list on the menu. I really wanted Thai iced tea. Next time I’ll visit instead.

What a great experience and great Thai food my wife and I had today at Royal Bistro. We were in the area and happened upon this place. I'm so glad we did!
We were greeted by the owner who also took our order. The fun only began there! He was hilarious and had us entertained for most of the time we were there, but not overbearing at all.
We are new to Thai food and he did a great job explaining to us what several of the dishes were on the menu. We had the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle dishes. Good size portions for the lunch menu also.
We'll definitely be back with the rest of our family in the near future.

The restaurant was quaint, quiet, and the temperature was even nice for a cold evening. We ordered the dumplings to start off with. Absolutely amazing! The texture was sooo good. Then we ordered the chicken Pad Thai and Hunan Duck. Both were amazing! Huge portions! Divine taste. The waiter was the owner's father and absolutely hilarious former Hibachi chef. Made the night that much better. Cant wait to go back!!! What a hidden gem

I just tried Royal Bistro for the first time and loved it! When we picked up our curbside order, the man who brought out the food was so kind and offered to bring us free drinks. I declined the offer but my friend asked for a Coke, and when he brought out the Coke he made sure to bring me a water as well! It's the small touches that really make an experience memorable. The food was delicious and was still hot when we got home. We will definitely be coming back!

You guys used to be very good. But the pass couple orders we got this week was horrible. The food we got today was too dry and too blend, almost to no taste. we ordered our food HOT but we got no spicy at all. Not to mentioned that the portion is a lot smaller too. Don't think we will order from you guys again.

Ownership has changed. Lovely service but unfortunately the food is not the same. They now include soup or salad with every dinner entree, but everything was real bland - definitely not as robust and well-prepared as it was previously.

The entire restaurant permeated with delicious scents. Food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection!

Thai ice tea was well made.
