I get a call back from the owner and she says she doesn’t offer all white meat (already being cheap). I order all white meat from EVERY place I get general tso and have NEVER been denied it. So whatever I tell her to change my order to pad see U. My husband picked up our food and when we got home there was hardly any meat in our 2 plates. I counted 2 pieces of chicken in his and 4 pieces of meat in mine. I stirred the noodles around to find 2 more than what’s in the picture. I NEVER complain but I actually called the restaurant and wanted to inform them and asked for another meal or a return. I offered to drive back up there. The owner said she’s talk to the cook and put me on hold. While she had me on hold I was talking to my husband and made a comment about being “pissed off” and she over heard me say this and said “I’m sorry you’re pissed off” and mocked me. Then continued to say “my cook is pretty pissed if too because he said he weighed everything and didn’t short you on meat” then I offered to bring it to show her there was hardly any meat at all in my $34 worth of food. She said don’t worry I’ll refund it but I suggest you not purchase anything here anymore. I’m not sure what owner takes offense to feedback instead of apologizing but I was flabbergasted. I couldn’t believe the way she talked to me and treated me over some chicken and beef! But it is a shame! The taste of the food was actually delicious but I’m here to say don’t weigh your broccoli with the meat and be a cheap owner. My husband said the restaurant had nobody there and now I can see why. Some just don’t understand good hospitality. I hope the best for this owner and start taking feedback a little bit better. Really good Thai food, fresh ingredients, generous portions. Prices are good. My boyfriend really enjoyed the curry duck. had a nice coconut flavor that wasn't overpowering. This is our favorite place to eat in Summerville since we're trying to eat in away from covid. They're only doing takeout at this time. I try Thai restaurants all over the country and this one is good. I would definitely recommend.

Only negative is there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the shop. But food is excellent. Lotsa flavor. That being said mild/medium was pretty spicy. Next time I’ll go mild. Will definitely try it again.

This place is an absolute gem. Penny helped us make decisions with our order and made amazing recommendations. She is the SWEETEST person and the world needs to protect her at all costs.
We ordered shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken w/steamed rice, fried dumplings, and egg drop soup. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We didn't take a photo bc we were so hungry and the smell of the food was too tempting.
Definitely 10/10, recommend you try all the things.

Ever since the First time we ordered from Red Jasmine, I fell in Love! We have ordered from here Many times, since they opened, and I must say they are my FAVORITE go-to for Asian or Thai food!!! Their food is the Freshest I've Ever experienced! Especially their house salad with ginger dressing! The salad greens and vegetables are so Crisp and so Fresh, and even stay Fresh for a few days or so after! They give you Generous portions for the price! Their entrees are even big enough for two people to share! They have the Most Fresh food, I ever had at Any Asian restaurant, not to mention the MOST Delicious!!! I LOVE this place so much! I recommend they're chicken satay, house salad with ginger dressing, wonton soup, fresh spring rolls, rice wraps, and some of their other entrees, etc! They are the BEST! Chef's kiss!

Food is always great! Delivery is always quick and drivers are nice! This order I just had a great customer service experience I want to share though. I made a note that they not knock on the door and to leave the food on my porch (sleeping baby and dogs bark). They called to confirm that and to ask if they could call when the food was delivered so I would know. It was very appreciated!! They were also nice and took out the tofu from my hot and sour soup. Which I didn’t realize was pre-cooked with, so they literally scooped it all out and that gesture was so nice of them! I now know it’s not added at the end, so I won’t ask them to do it again, but the fact they did do it this time was awesome of them!! ❤️

Great food!

My family was not happy with the quality of the food last time we ordered here but decided to give them another chance. I'm so glad we did. Everything was great. We ordered the Chinese rice with 3 meats (extra shrimp), coconut shrimp, fried potstickers, sesame wings, thai chili wings, Mongolian beef and the kids lo mein. Everything was fresh and we will probably place the exact same order again next time!

I love this place and the people who work there are fantastic! !!!!!! The pad thai always keeps me coming back. Plus the decor is great! Homey yet classy, great balance.
Also no MSG is added. I can't have gluten so it's nice to come to a place that can accommodate that. I have always been able to eat their pad thai knowing I'll be ok.

Outstanding food as it was my second visit in two weeks. The host of the restaurant was very nice and cool along with the other cooks. My food was prepared well and they never forgot my face or my food selection.

The best mongolin beef i have ever had. The meat was excellent, veggies were cooked perfect and the sauce... i had it spiced to a level 5 which is max. I must say it is the spicest i have ever had.
The hot and sour soup is the best i have ever had also, great flavor and lots of veggies.

My favorite place in the area for red curry!

If you have not tried this place, you should. I think I may order the tofu green curry once a week now, it is so good! The customer service is outstanding and the food is always on point! They also deliver!

I got the Pad Thai, it was perfect.
The sweet sticky rice was exactly as stated. I was expecting the plain sticky rice but the sweet kind. Still it was very good. Coconut with a sweet and salty flavor.
Papaya salad, I'm very big on it. I can make it myself if I can, but I'm working out of town. :D the sweet, salty, and sour was not strong enough. Too healthy for me.

This place has good food but has gone down hill greatly on value and price. Bought a dinner item was the same amount of food as a lunch but much higher in price. Again good food but value has diminished.

Awful. They should remove the sign that says “ be patient we are making the food from scratch”. That’s a total insult to people actually making good food. White people can’t cook good Chinese food.

Customer service-rude. My online order was to be finished at 8:00 pm. I am 2 miles away from the restaurant. At 8:30 I called and was told my order was almost ready. I asked for the manager and told her to cancel the order she informed me that it would literally be ready in 10 minutes. Several people called out and the drivers had 2 orders that was being delivered so I would be next. I told her sure if she wanted to cut the bill in half (total was over $60). She told me I could get a discount on my next order. Told her to cancel it and asked when I would see my refund. 3-5 days. I told her I was unhappy and kids had been waiting for dinner. She said ‘well I guess we have dinner tonight thank you’ and she hung up on me.

We moved to Summerville 5years ago. We have searched for a good curry. Finally 😁 a great curry. Love this restaurant. Large portions and sooooo yummm

Food is always wonderful. It’s actually the best Asian takeout I’ve ever had. I have ordered delivery several times and have always been very pleased. However today I accidentally selected takeout from the website. When my food has not arrived within an hour I called to find out why. I think it would be nice if you called customers who did not arrive within 30 minutes to pick up their order. Our food was ready for an hour and a half before we got to eat it.

The customer service was exceptional from the young man at the counter. Some people are just after free food and complain to reduce their bill. I bet they were ecstatic after she said she would not return.

As new residents in Summerville and as lovers of true Thai cuisine, we started to make the rounds of area Asian restaurants. Downtown restaurants were disappointing but the Red Jasmine is superlative. A word to the meek; ask them to reduce the heat.

This is my new asian spot. With out a doubt the best hot and sour soup. Their thai chili wings are amazing too. Just got small things this time but super excited about their entrees. Love it

The cook used family recipes and could alter them to your taste ( I like my food more spicy). It had fast service, the workers were nice and it had a fun hidden gem feel to it. Would recommend highly!

A coworker and I ordered delivery, tried to pay in cash and the delivery guy wanted to take almost $20 in change as a tip. We were gonna tip. We work in the service industry, but then he got super rude when it wasn’t as much as he tried to take from us... He got $10 as a tip for almost $40 in food we ordered. He was super rude and definitely won’t be ordering here again.

The guy at the counter is super super nice and helpful! Something has changed recently with the food though so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Still good food and will remain my go to place. I'll update to 5 stars if something changes :)

Called and requested a refund.

Recommendation for the restaurant, if you can't deliver the food in a reasonable time frame, don't offer delivery.

Let me start by saying I’ve never left a review for a restaurant before, good or bad. I have been searching for really good Chinese food,especially hot & sour soup since moving to the area 2 years ago. I stumbled upon this one in Summerville on Dorchester Rd. After grocery shopping. I ordered 50 dollars worth of food to go. everything was delicious including the hot & sour soup or it would have been if the taste & abundance of black pepper hadn’t overpowered it. I was disappointed because I could tell it would have been perfect otherwise. Plus they gave me no crispy noodles to go with it. The service was friendly & store clean &I will eat there again, I will definitely ask them to go light on the black pepper though!

Average Chinese take-out, above average prices, below average service. The food is on par with average Chinese take out for the area but cost is not ($$).

Our most recent (and last) visit was an early (4:45PM) online order that was confirmed to ready in 45 minutes, arrived for pick up at designated time and they hadn't even started our order. An hour later (almost 2 hours after placing order) we walked out with our food. In the hour we were there witnessed 1 walk-in order and no delivery so they were far from busy. We'll stick with the much better and consistent Asian bistro across the street.

We have given Wok-in-Go multiple chances to win our business over the years and really wanted them to succeed often overlooking the problems. When they initially opened and the owner was present the food was pretty good and seemed to be fresh, the service decent and mostly on time. Over the years the food has become average mass-produced takeout staple, orders 50% correct and owner/manager noticeably absent. They are always overwhelmed even when there are only 0 or 1 orders in the queue and they never have the food ready on time. Forget about delivery - it will be late, cold and at least an hour or more.

Really was hoping I could give a better review but the food was HORRIBLE! Chicken was dry and cooked in old grease ! My general chicken was not good at all it was tough like it had been sitting for hours and then delivered to me.... delivery driver was nice food NOT!

First time in and the helpful person at the counter guided me along. She had suggestions and was able to answer questions easily. My Pad Thai was excellent and I have enough for several meals.

This place was a pleasure. For dinner in or take out! The helpful and polite young lady who talked us out of going to a buffet name escapes me. But we were informed that the food was all msg free and fresh cooked to order and now I dream of my next visit. Go General Tso! We enjoyed there patio seating. It was a nice icing on the cake to find out that we also received a discount because we had just been serviced by Serenity Message.

I really love the flavors of all of the Thai dishes I have tried from here! However, my curry dish this time was supposed to have eggplant and it did not which was something I was really looking forward to. Also, in attempt to make my dish healthier, I asked for brown rice. Upon my pickup, they gave me white rice and I sent it back. I got my “brown rice” and came home to discover fried rice haha! So watch out for that.

Some of the best food for its quality and price everything is made fresh to order with clean ingredients which is especially great when dining in, at most places like this I tend to use a bunch of sauces to make the food taste better but here I I find that I don’t because the meals are packed with flavors. Solid 5 stars!!!

They have no minimum order for delivery (although they do charge extra) and the food is very well made and tasty. Everything is cooked to order and is 1000% better than any of the local Chinese places I've ordered from in the local area. If you live in the upper Dorchester Rd. area of Summerville, this is the place you should call first for your Asian fix.

Best Thai food I have had! Have had wok-in-go several times and every time it amazes me how good it tastes. I have had many different dishes. All of thier curries are great. If you lile seriosuly hot food get the Thai hot it is so hot and yummy. The pot stickers and other Chinese food items are also awesome. Just went back there after having moved away. Ordered some lunch and it was so delicious! Pad thai is fresh tasting and curries have fresh veggies and a great flavor in the sauce. They are the best in Summerville and the best I have had!

Food is decent. Ordered food for delivery twice. Both times items were missing. Second time I saw something was missing before the delivery guy left; he said he'd come back with it. Never did. Better options are available.

This place has the most superb food and atmosphere to take in. Most places with the variety and diversity, such as this place, seem to be overloaded with selection and bland. Not here, not a chance! Check out their curry menu; I just tried the green curry and it is outstanding!!

I asked for a recommendation from the very nice lady at the register and was told about the Basil Eggplant w/ Chicken. I went with it and thought it was really well done. I'm just outside the delivery range, but I'll be driving back.

I love this place! The woman who helped us was welcoming and kind. She mentioned the basil catfish and I jumped on it. It is incredibly flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be returning.

We got delivery. One got chicken pancit and the other got seafood and they both tasted like seafood. Also the seafood blend said it included scallops, but there wasn't a single one. Also all of the seafood was overcooked and chewy. The wontons were very minty. We wish they had included plasticware or chopsticks with the meal, as we had none and it made for a very interesting experience.

Pretty good food. Pretty good price. Plus they deliver.
