Casual, family-owned locale serving classic Thai dinner dishes, plus beer & wine.
Wow. Superb take out meal. If you love Thai food, this is the spot in Myrtle Beach. I ordered medium Chicken Pad Thai, Thai Spicy Shrimp Drunken noodles, Spicy Green Curry Chicken and Beef spring rolls. The spicy levels were on point. Quality ingredients and real Thai peppers (not flakes). I really enjoyed a very special birthday dinner. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Please ensure you check with the staff before choosing your spice level. They were very helpful in ensuring that I had the proper spice that I wanted. The atmosphere inside is quaint with Thai decor, and it is very clean. This restaurant does not disappoint, and I will be back. Thank you so much for a awesome meal.
I loved the authenticity of this restaurant. It’s not fancy if that’s what you are looking for but the quality was spot on. The owner and staff were very gracious, kind & friendly. It seemed like a hard working local business w many repeat customers. We can’t wait to go back!
There’s so much good to say about this place!! You walk in the small building and the atmosphere is super cozy, dimmed and romantic. They even lit a candle just for us! The vegetable spring rolls were large and made-from-scratch delicious. We got the Panang Curry and it was soooo good!! The beef was super tender, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. We ended it with these delicious fried bananas! ⭐️The portions were large as well ⭐️
Visited for the first time and i will certainly be back! Wonderful and friendly service from Patricia. The portions are huge and the food is absolutely amazing. So many restaurants these days is just a bunch of microwaved pre-made food, and that is not the case at Thai Palms. They clearly make the food in-house. Thanks for the great food! Did i mention the prices are great as well?
Thai Palms is hands down THE BEST and most authentic Thai food that I have tried anywhere around the Grand Strand. I have traveled to Thailand three times because I love Thai food and it is a beautiful country. The family is from Bangkok and the mom cooks and the daughter is the server. The food never disappoints. I would suggest trying mild FIRST because even the mild is pretty spicy to most pallates. The atmosphere is small, warm, and relaxing small restaurant with Thai decor and warm lighting. All five of us ordered "mild" level of spice. We got the Chicken Satay app and spring rolls to start. I had the Tom Kha Gai which is a chicken, mushroom, and coconut soup with lots of cilantro and it was amazing! My boyfriend got the red massaman curry, which he said was delicious and also had some heat. The kids got fried rice, Pad See Ew, and drunken noodles. These dishes are all large enough to share with the family so you can try a little bit of everything. I wish that they would consider carrying High Noon Seltzers (Peach flavor especially). They do carry Singha Thai beer if you want to try! Also, they have HUGE portions so we all brought home lots of leftovers. We will certainly be coming back as this is our family favorite Thai Restaurant in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas.
Delicious !
I get take out from here twice a month. Ask for Thai HOT!!! Very good.
Best authentic Thai in Myrtle Beach

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but once inside it changes your expectations. The food is excellent. Highly recommend the drunken noodles.

The food was excellent , the service was excellent and the portions were very filling. This place will definitely be a staple in our dinner rotation. Can’t wait to come back…
Best Thai food ever!! We had the Thai Basil stir fry, shrimp pad thai, and fresh garden rolls. Absolutely delicious.
Hidden gem. Small business. Nice owners. Great food and drinks!

Best Thai in Myrtle area
This is a hidden gem.
We pulled up to an empty parking lot, and discovered the best Thai flavors in Myrtle Beach!
Three of us had Pad Thai and it was perfect. The heat is variable and they don't use numbers... instead, it goes mild, medium, hot and extra-hot.
Two of us got mild and I got hot. Everybody was happy with their choices.
Also the Saki was excellent.
Highly recommend!

me and my family always come here for celebrations. the service and the food at thai palms is immaculate!!
Absolutely love Thai Palms! The food, atmosphere, and the kindness! Flavors are created with fresh herbs and many of the dishes come with hand rolled vegetable spring rolls. Portion size is very generous (enough for two meals) and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you so much for making so many of my families birthday meals so memorable. Favorite dishes are Tom Kha Gai and of course Pad Thai!
Delicious food and friendly staff! We Googled Thai restaurants and found this gem!! We are 💯satisfied! I ordered take out and while I waited I was treated to a delicious aperitif made with a home made hibiscus syrup. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcoming and cozy. We are visiting the area and cannot recommend Thai Palms enough!!
Only one recommendation is create a more distinct sign we almost missed it as it didn't stand out.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be back when we are in the area.
Super flavorful and fresh! Our favorites are the Penaeng Curry and Pad Thai. They offer the option to add fried tofu as well!
We lucked out. Very slow service the evening we happened to go. Family with screaming kid nearby. Food was average. Flavor of red curry was fine. Ingredients just average.
Wonderful food! Had the Thai basil, Pad Thai, and red Curry with chicken. All were amazing. Medium spice is spicy (3 of 5 on heat). Restaurant had only a few tables but the food was fantastic. Full bar. Great service. Stop in and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
CHANGE YOUR HOURS. YOU DONT CLOSE 9 IF YOU STOP TAKING ORDERS AT 8. Food is good but the open days already suck and are weird. Don’t ask for anything custom or spicy though because that’s like pulling teeth. I’m a local but I don’t think it’s worth the headache . Go check out Thai Lao.
food and service are excellent and the prices are more than fair.
Best Thai food ive ever had in my life! Staff was incredibly friendly. Outstanding restaurant!
Great fried rice and Tom yum soup. Panang curry was not good seems panang curry was all carrot no bamboos. Same panang curry tasted awesome when I re-ate at home after adding little bit water onto it
This place is awesome! Best Thai at the beach!
I keep trying all the Thai places in town and keep coming back to Thai Palms. The food is fabulous, cozy atmosphere, and wonderful friendly staff!

I can't believe I've passed this place for years without stopping. The food was absolutely delicious and so flavorful. Such a friendly lady who served us as well. A hidden gem in plain sight.
Really nice place. Unfortunately they are seriously understaffed. Our very nice waitress was the only one working on Wednesday evening. She was great, but she was very busy trying to take care of about 20-25 customers plus carry out, so service was a little slow. No harm, no foul. We completely understood. The menu is decent. Mostly Thai standards. Chicken Satay was excellent and the little sauces were some of the best. The heat was perfect. Garden rolls were somewhat bland, but definitely fresh. The Chicken Panang was very tasty and I would order it again. The Shrimp Pad Thai was a little different; it was full of veggies and was made of large noodles, not the usual thin rice noodles. I asked for spicy and got mild. Otherwise Thai Palms gets an A for effort.
I tried to order carryout one night I call at 5:00 they told me the next carryout order would not be till 6:30 that is kind of ridiculous but the food is very good maybe they should get more Cooks in the kitchen to handle the carry out
I went here with my dad, service was great, we ordered pad thai and spicy beef salad (which wasn’t on the menu). Food was so good, great even, definitely coming again
The food was absolute fire! 10/10 would recommend. The best Thai food I've had.....maybe ever. Even the presentation in the to-go box (as I ordered my food to-go) was amazing. The peanut sauce on the pad Thai was sooooo on point. Check this place out. Really. It's completely worth it.
We had no problem finding this wonderful Thai restaurant. We were quickly seated and given our drink choices. Our food arrived hot and spicy...just as ordered. We ordered the Coconut lemongrass mushroom soup with rice. Excellent, excellent!
Our drunken noodles ...not so much. They tasted as if the noodles had been left over from the previous day and just reheated. We just won't order those again. But we will return for the soup. Excellent.!
The food was just OK. The menu for both the drunken noodles and Thai fried rice stated a fried egg was included but there was none in either dish. The chicken in both dishes was rubbery and overcooked.
Nice little Thai restaurant, large servings and friendly staff
We always enjoy their food and hospitality. W even been going for many many year 😊
FOOD IS AMAZINGGG. I had a togo order and when i got home the food was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and VERYY fresh. I would recommend to everyone. I spent $33 for 2 plates that came with 2 spring rolls each. I think each plate could feed like 3/4 people.
Very nice Thai restaurant! Good quality Thai food! Would recommend the restaurant!
Great authentic Thai food! Great find! Will definitely be back again!
Food was excellent and it seems everything was made homemade. A real mom and pops place. Cant wait to come back!
The tofu pad thai here is the best I’ve had. It doesn’t quite taste the same anywhere else.
Took 3 folks and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Portions were large enough to take home for another meal. Price is affordable. Great family restaurant.
We arrived at 5 and the restaurant was quite warm, cooled by a wall air conditioning unit. Suggest the unit be turned on a few hours before opening.
Excellent food, excellent service. Their food deserves to be enjoyed by everyone. Wish they were a little closer to the action on the beaches so they could get more well-deserved attention.
We did take out. Portion size is huge. You will have leftovers. Delicious. So happy to find a great place.
Excellent food. Pad Thai and Thai fried rice were very authentic. Thai tea was also very good. Very generous portion sizes. Okay service but it seemed that there was only one employee and she was very nice. Will absolutely come again next year.
The food is delicious
This is delicious. There is plenty of food and all of it is amazing. Their spicy is spicy but not unbearable, it has flavor and doesn't just scorch you. But if your not a spicy lover their medium isn't to hot. I got pad see ew and my wife got drunken noodles. Strongly recommend grabbing food here.
Everything I’ve ever tried was amazing! Great service as well
Best Thai food in America!!!
They have some of the best Thai I've ever had. I wish they were open more often, sometimes they leave early even if it's a Saturday and I miss out on their awesome food. I try to eat here as much as possible when I can catch them open. Their Red Curry is my favorite thing their and Medium is perfectly spicy. They allowed me to custom order it as well which is a really big deal to me.
Excellent food! Would highly recommend. The food is authentic, and every dish we had was superb!
This place is DELICIOUS
I ordered the Pad See Ew. It comes with spring rolls, which despite sitting in my car for 15min on the drive home, were some of the best I’ve ever had. The dish was very good too! I ordered mild, and I’m glad I did because it was still a tad spicy.
We reached this place at 830pm and were a little skeptical if we would get food as it closes at 9 and the place was empty.
The owner was very courteous and welcomed us with a big smile.
We ordered papaya salad, pad Thai and red curry.
Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! This was Thai food that I have never tasted before and one of the best red curries I’ve had in my last fifteen years.
I’m visiting this place every-time I come to Myrtle beach.
I only took a pic of the papaya salad which was also very good. We ordered medium spicy and was perfect for my palate.
Ty Thai Palms for jump starting my Myrtle trip on a positive note.
Most delicious Thai food that my husband, son & I had!!! We had crab cheese wontons, spring rolls, pad Thai, pad see ew & drunken noodles. All amazing!!!
We love the food, they only offer take out.
Everything we have ever tasted from Thai Palms has been delicious! Penang Curry is always my favorite; fresh, with deep flavors from authentic ingredients. It's a family business so go try it and show your support after you deeply enjoy your meal... cause you definitely will!
I hate to leave a bad review because I know it’s a hard time to be a restaurant, but this meal was so bad. We ordered the pad thai and it was so dry and seemed to be sitting out for hours. The pad see ew was just not made right. It tasted like coconut milk noodles. I would not recommend pick up for here. The plus side was that the spring rolls were good!
The best Thai food in Myrtle Beach!
Needs to update the hours on google to match their restaurant hours on their web page.
Run don’t walk , amazing fresh hot delicious food , hidden gem ! Please please support local
Our favorite takeout in the area! Tastes amazing, and the prices are so reasonable, especially for the quality. Food is still piping hot (and spring rolls are crispy) when we get home. Highly recommend!
Very good food here. Spring rolls are amazing. We got them for take out and they were CRUNCHY as if we'd sat down in the restaurant. Highly recommend
We love this place! Fresh, fast, friendly!!
Incredible food. I’ve tried the Paid Thai, Thai Basil Chicken, Red Curry, and garden vegetable roles. Our family loves it!
Food was delish. Will definitely be back!!!
Best pad thai in Myrtle Beach! No other place even comes close. The service is great too. Highly recommend 👌🏻
LOVE THIS PLACE!!
Excellent food!!!
Sad that you cannot dine in because of COVID. Food was excellent, people were super friendly when picking up my food.
Help local restaurants. Get take out, keep them going until we can go back to normal.
Lived here for many years before finally trying Thai Palms, and now I regret it! Amazing and delicious food, very generous portions for a reasonable cost. The red curry is FANTASTIC!!!!
A little slow on service but man it was good and worth the wait. Prices not bad either. Try medium unless u r really brave then go for more fire.
The Pad Thai Chicken was very good, mild heat. The Chicken Satay as well as the Thai Fried Chicken were both delicious.
We ordered take-out there for the first time. The food is AMAZING it was fresh and hot. Definitely will order there again.
One of my favorite Thai restaurant! ❤️ Their Beef Larb!!
This was our first visit. They have a broad menu with lots of appetizers and entrees. Entrees include a choice of chicken, beef or shrimp, some with just veggies, most with steamed or fried rice. Some include curry. Food delivery was slow, but to be honest, it's because the food is not pre-prepared, it's cooked after you order it. It was worth the wait. Not much selection of beverages, but the draw is clearly the food. All in all, if you want fresh, hot (temp. or spicy) thai food that's inexpensive and can handle a beer or a glass of water, you'll love this place. A hole in the wall, in a good way.
Delicious Thai food at reasonable prices. Friendly wait-staff. Food is cooked to order, so expect a relaxed meal. Watch out for the extra-spicy; it is fire!
The food was outstanding
Most bestest awesomest thai food in Horry co. Fresh, great deep flavors, head and shoulders above others in Myrtle. Small place, not fancy, not overly staffed, but very worth it!
So freaking good!!!
Such good food. We ordered the like 6 different items and nobody left disappointed
Excellant!!! Do yourself a favor order their ice tea and shrimp rolls..guaranteed you will be taking at least half your entre home!!
Very friendly staff, quaint, clean. A hidden gem
Traditional Thai food made fresh, great service
Very good food..
Wonderful Thai food! I only wish their hours were longer 😁
Very authentic food. Spice can be adjusted for taste. Quick efficient service. Reasonable prices.
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover - food is delicious! (Food made to order- fresh- so you will wait!!)
Worth trying out. From the outside it looks a little run down, but you came for the food, right!
Simply outstanding made to order delicious food. You will be delighted with this family run gem!
The best by far here in Myrtle Beach. I've eaten at many Thai Food Restaurants on the West Coast, but this place right here brings a special down to earth vibe. Get there early or you'll be waiting.
Fantastic and authentic thai food
Nice quit setting. Everything was very good with a balanced spicy and hot flavor. Server told us they kick it up a notch and she was right.
Great food, locally owned and operated. Quaint and small.... Their hours are very limited... but if you no and make plans to go during that time.... it's well worth it!!!!
The best of the best!!
Love this place its the best thai food ive had so far! Great people and great food that will not break the bank
Cozy, great food.
Excellent food! Owned & operated by true locals. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual, relaxing enviroment
Seriously so good, I am really pleased!! They even poked holes in the box, so my spring rolls didn’t get soggy! The chicken pad Thai and 2 spring rolls very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to try yellow curry shrimp next! Thank you.
A fantastic find in Myrtle Beach. Didn't expect to find such great thai food here, but very pleasantly surprised. Food is delicious, very reasonably priced and very good service. FIVE STARS all around. Food service is little slow but very much worth the wait.
Wow. Really nice Thai (Spicy) wonderful food. Really close to Market Common.
Small quaint. And all family run. Some of the most authentic local Thai food ever.
Smells so good walking in.
Can’t go wrong!!!
🙏😀😍👍😡
We had dinner at Thai Palm and we were skeptical at first but we must say we were very impressed...we ordered Pad Thai, Shrimp Tempura and spring rolls vegetable and beef....very flavorful, tastes authentic and will recommend to many friends , also very friendly service. We will be eating there regularly.
Best Thai food in the Grand Stand.
Fantastic experience, we had appetizers and entrees and all were very fresh and very hot, heat wise. the spice factor was exactly as described by out server. that is to say pretty spicy but not too spicy. Both dishes we had were exceptional, with a curry coconut broth on one and peanut flavoring on the other. Serving size is generous, and the prices are reasonable.
Will definitely be back to go through the rest of the menu.
Home made Thai! We love it!
Some of the best and authentic Thai food I've ever had. If you want good food come here.
So so good!!
Best Thai food in the area. Worst location parking lot... Been to every Thai place to open in the last 10 years... This place is still the best... They make it to order... Fresh... You will have to wait.... But it's worth it.
It's legit.
Closed...
If you haven't been, you're missing out!
Food was wonderful, long wait time however. This place is best for business meetings and long date nights. Atmosphere is cozy. Would easily be 5 stars outside of the wait , but it may be because the food is good and is popular in the area.
Great fresh made foods full of flavor, great service.
I have been eating thai food for many years and have tried different restaurants in the area. I will not recommend this place. There are better choices around. My favorite so far is Black Thai located in Myrtle Beach.
Great Thai food!
I've eaten here several times. Every single time i am impressed on how awesome their food is. I've pretty much tried it all and you can't go wrong. I usually call ahead, since they only have 1 cook, but she is golden. My fav. Headed there now.
Their Pad Thai is spicy and greasy. It was okay but definitely had better
Food was very good and reasonably priced
The best Thai restaurant in the area! Great service and the best food!
Very slow service when we dined there, but excellent food. Fresh and flavorful... probably the best Thai food I ever had.
My husband and I love Thai Palms! Food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly and professional. Sometimes it take a little extra time for your food but it is well worth the wait!
Everything was exceptional!!! Tilapia, drunken noodle, spring rolls - all amazing!
Love this place! Great food! Friendly staff!
Love this place!!!!
Thai Palms is a hidden little gem of a restaurant. The food is delicious with the "heat" level set by the customer. Very nice little family run place. Don’t let the appearance fool you. You will enjoy your meal.
Stay away at all costs!
Awesome
Quiet little, cozy place off the beaten path, one of Myrtle Beach best kept secrets! This food is prepared hot and will send your tastebuds to another damention. Great place to take your sweetie.
Good hot made to order food
We had the ground beef larb salad and Panang curry (chicken, not beef) and pineapple fried rice, all medium spicy, and papaya salad and shrimp pad Thai, both mild spicy. The beef larb and papaya salads were 'hot,' and the others weren't. Could be the appetizers were so spicy we couldn't tell how spicy the panang curry was. We will go back. Note- they are closed Sunday's & Monday's.
Nice and quiet, inexpensive, and family run
Nice little place, the food here is excellent, it's authentic, and made fresh so it takes a little extra time. The red curry chicken has the right amount of spice to notice it without being overwhelming. Parking out front is tricky, suggest parking out back if possible.
Local favorite! Food has a upscale and custom flavor that is wonderful, seasoned perfectly & will keep you coming back again and again. It's disarming from the small building appearance that you can easily kiss off the busy 707. Once you enter the door it is charming, with a local home-like appeal & kind service. We tried the pad Thai, which took classic flavors and upped it by offering 2 FREE spring rolls that were hand made and larger than I've ever seen in a restaurant. We also tried the Pad See-Ew, which was the best I've ever had on either coast. Lastly, we tried the Pad Broccoli with tofu and it was rich, flavorful and perfectly balanced the white rice that came with it. Veggies were soft and tender.
Everything we had was "yum" inducing on everyone's lips & we loved how spring rolls came with every meal. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable, $9-$13 per plate (for great portions). We'll be back! Thank you.
Thought I'd try this place out while I was visiting, food was awesome! There was a decent wait for the food to be made but we'll worth it!
I got the Panaeng Curry and it's spicy while you eat it but not too spicy that you can't eat it and the spice goes away when you stop eating. This is one item that I find as being an amazing culinary dish!
Definitely recommend!
The BEST Thai food I've had outside of Thailand!!! Authentic Thai! Everything is cooked/prepared to order with the freshest ingredients (be ready to wait a little). We got the Garden Fresh Spring Rolls to start with, and then the Pad Kee Mao (beef), Green Curry (chicken) and Panaeng Curry (beef), and finally the Fried Bananas to finish up. Each item was an absolute hit! We will return when we are back in Myrtle Beach. This sets the bar!
It was the best Thai Restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area. Food is fresh and authentic.
the food was amazing, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend it and my girlfriend and I will definitely return.
Best green curry in town. Very consistent
HAND DOWN the BEST. food in myrtle beach very nice people it may take a bit to cook the dish, but it WELL worth the wait! warning once you eat here you may not be able to enjoy any other Thai food because this puts them all to shame
Some of the best authentic Thai food around! Everything is made fresh so there is a little wait in getting your food, but it's worth it!
Small,quiet,excellent food.
