Just a heads up: their parking lot is very small, but there are plenty of seats indoors. We were greeted immediately and seated. Staff members were kind and courteous. They were very flexible and understanding as we also have a toddler dining with us. The cucumber water was a refreshing surprise and a much needed pick-me-up after our long drive. I treated myself with Thai tea and very much enjoyed it, not too sweet and the visual touch of the orchid was charming.

While there is a bit of a wait for the food to be served, the quality in taste and the visual presentation makes up for it, and if not, the portion sizes are more than generous! The food took about 15 minutes for all appetizers and entrees to be served on the table.

We ordered the chive pancakes to share and it was crispy and delicious! The Tom yum soup had the perfect balance between spicy and tart, which paired nicely with white rice. My mom ordered her favorite dish, pad Thai, and devoured the whole plate. My husband ordered the NaPha Thai wrap thinking he was going to eat three wraps, but the dish was a jumbo build-your-own platter and it was definitely more than just three wraps! The ingredients were nicely chopped and plated for ease of assembly. He was a stuffed happy camper by the end of his meal. As for me, I ordered KaoSoi (chicken) because I haven’t seen that on a menu before, so I decided to try something new. My meal came with two types of noodles, one that was boiled and soaked in with the broth and the fried noodle that served as an eye-catching decor became a tasty and crunchy second meal. The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly!

We absolutely love this Thai eatery. In winter it offers a cozy atmosphere; intimate for couples and inviting to small parties. In summer there is nothing better than a fresh spring roll and their cucumber water!

Love this place!!! I've been there 2x and both times the food has been excellent and drinks are amazing!!! Service is great!!! They are so welcoming and accommodating. They make sure they please you. Prices are very affordable and the quality is over the top. Everything is fresh.

The food was hot and tasty, the vegetables cooked too perfection. Portion size was good for two to have a moderate dinner. If considering Thai food definitely give NaPha a try.

The music and ambience of the restaurant was so relaxing and nice. I loved the little details that they spent time on, from the place mats to the coasters to the plates and cutlery.
Our server was very kind and informative as well.

Extremely friendly service and delicious food! I ordered the kao soi noodle soup and I highly recommend it, and they can make it as spicy as you want! The staff was very attentive and the food came out quickly too.

Great food, poor service!

I ordered a red curry, level 3 spicy. It was a very appropriate level 3 for spice. The curry itself had layers of flavor, and I’ve never had such great eggplant in a curry. I have no idea how they prepare their eggplant, but they better keep doing it.

Unfortunately, the service stunk. I didn’t get one water refill the entire meal — even though the waitress asked twice! Also, my friend’s meal was severely overcooked, and they failed to get it remade before everyone else had finished eating. We think they forgot about her.

If I had to get food from here again, I’d probably do takeout to not deal with the poor service.

Clean and welcoming setting/decor with ample seating space. The waiter, an Indian gentleman, was friendly and helpful. We ordered Tom Yum soup, brussel sprouts, summer rolls, pineapple fried rice (actually inside a fresh pineapple), spicy beef w/ sticky rice (i forgot the actual name of this dish) and Tom Yum noodle w/ chicken. All dishes were delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Everything at NaPha is delicious. If you dine in, the pineapple curry is served in an actual pineapple! So tasty!

Best Thai food on Aquidneck Island

We love Thai food and had driven by several times. Finally decided to check it out. Delicious! We started with the calamari. Wonderfully breaded, crispy and tender. Not an overwhelming size, which we liked that. The chive pancake one of the best we’ve had. Crispy on the outside and moist and loaded with chives on the inside, instead of a hard deep fried disc with a passing chive (what you find in most restaurants). Then the mango rolls. Delicious! Served with two sauces. I got Labb Gai salad. Sort of what I call elephant ears. Served on lettuce leaves. Very light, flavorful and delicious. My husband got the ginger stir fry with chicken. Served with rice. Loved it. Service was excellent. There is parking in the back, which is great as it is in an area of no street parking. We will be back! Thank you Na Pha!

The food was very delicious. But the experience was not pleasant. The wait staff was very nice and our food came out hot and delicious. The only downside is the Big Horse Flies flying around the place. That's what ruined it for me.

This place is a restaurant with an Air B&B upstairs. Food is decent but service is HORRIBLE. We had asked for 3 boxes and the check. The lady came back with no check and only 2 boxes. And proceeded to make us wait while she took care of her Air B&B guest. It should have been a red flag when there was only 2 people eating here.

Wasn’t super busy and the atmosphere was great. Great music and great service. They had one of the nicest bathrooms i’ve ever had the pleasure of using in their restaurant. Lastly, it was probably the best Thai food i’ve ever tried. 10/10 would recommend.

Overall, overpriced for the quality. Though the brussel sprouts were tasty, the 2 tablespoonfuls given in the takeout box was not worth the price. The Pad Woon Sen, with vegetables, tasted too fishy. The red curry with chicken was overwhelmingly bamboo shoots. The steamed mussels were as tough as chewing a rubber tire. Definitely not recommend those. Likewise the gyoza was very dry. On the good side the place was clean and servers smiling and pleasant.

Fresh, great service and atmosphere!

We were in town for a brief visit, and this Thai restaurant truly exceeded our expectations—we loved it so much that we went back twice in one day! Every dish was well flavored and beautifully presented. Our favorites were the Labb Gai (super refreshing chicken flavor), Pad Kee Mao (very well-seasoned with a great kick), Tom Kha Kai (so creamy!), and the Crispy Duck Curry (loved the fragrant duck paired with rich curry). The restaurant also has a beautiful interior that added to our enjoyable visits.

Randomly came across this restaurant and thought this would be like any other Thai restaurant. I was wrong, the food and drink are phenomenal. My family and I are used to spicy food so we went for higher spice levels and the food came out better than our expectations. I would recommend the shrimp patton, tofu red curry, chatea and the mango sticky rice!

Amazing food, but awful service. I was with a big group of people, and they brought out the dishes individually instead of all at once. They forgot about my food, so I had to watch everyone else eat for a solid 15 minutes before finally getting my meal.

Single worst takeout I’ve ever gotten. The receipt on my bag was 100% correct, but the food inside was a disaster. I was missing the side of rice with my teriyaki chicken, they gave me tofu instead of chicken in my chicken pad Thai, my pad kee mao that I ordered “Thai hot” had absolutely no spice whatsoever, and my Gyoza were colder than room temperature. The Rangoons were good though.

Then they wouldn’t pick up the phone when tried to call and let them know how badly my order had been screwed up.

0/10 do not recommend doing business with them. Spend your money somewhere else.

Food was just salty / lackluster. Similar to other reviews - ordered pick up and was told 20 minutes, took 50. Crispy chicken was just chewy and salty. Maybe half a chicken breast total in the Sweet and Sour dish which also had cashews...was not listed in the ingredients (luckily just four of them as everything else was extremely skimpy).

Absolutely delicious. Great option for if you’re trying to eat out and not be a total pig. We had the spring rolls which were delicious and super fresh. The noodle soup was delicious - the right amount of spice. Satay was super tender. Would definitely recommend over most food downtown!

Papaya salad is delicious! Old place we frequented in Atlanta changed hands and changed recipes, but this place does it right. The duck is the best crispy duck on this side of the island.

One of the best pad Thai’s I have ever had, and I’ve eaten an insurmountable amount of pad thai in my day but this one was a big hug from the chef. I also recommend the summer rolls with avocado, carrots, and lettuce. The sweet Thai chili sauce and ground peanut sauce that came with them was beyond delicious; I ate all with a tasty and refreshing glass of Thai iced tea. I have to say kudos to the staff who were wonderful and pleasant.

A diamond among hidden gems, best Thai food I've ever had. Dominick was a gentleman and a great server.

Slow. I waited at the bar for 45 minutes for a single dish to go. Was told no less than 4 times they would get it out to me. I heard “sorry for the wait” about 5 times.
I ordered “mild.” When I got to my destination and opened it, it was specked with chili peppers and was inedibly hot. I called to let him know and he was sorry. “They must have given you the wrong one.” He offered me another one. Unfortunately with drive time, I didn’t have another hour fifteen to spare.
The front man was nice enough. But the kitchen is a disaster.
Reversing the charge is probably the right way to go in this situation.

Very flavorful and well worth the price. I had squid in the Spicy Basil Fried Rice. I have visited a few Thai restaurants here in RI and the Midwest. I am a fried rice connoisseur. 😋😊

Beautiful place very nice people loved the place

Came here for lunch while on vacation. Small parking lot in the back where you can walk up the hall that connects to the inn in the same building. It's a quaint restaurant. Nice atmosphere and decor. They serve cucumber infused water which is a very nice touch and chili oil edamame as complimentary appetizers. We ordered pad see ew and Penang tofu curry which were delicious. There was one woman working the front who was very sweet and helpful. Food took a little while but worth the wait. I also love that rice is in included with curry - too many places charge crazy prices for it. They had many other options for curry including lobster and duck. I highly recommend.

I saw the good reviews and ordered from their google listing using the default option of “storefront” powered by “DoorDash.” I received a confirmation email of our order and showed up when it said it was ready about 45 minutes later. The restaurant said they did not have a record of our order and did nothing to help other than telling us to contact DoorDash. It is highly unlikely we will return to this restaurant.

Excellent authentic Thai cuisine. Flavors were very defined, the service was wonderful, and it's a very comfortable place to dine.

The food was amazing! The Pad See EW with crispy chicken was perfect paired with their chili oil. The fried rice was well seasoned and tasty and all the veggies were fresh. I really appreciate that when I asked for my food extremely spicy they brought chili oil so I could season it myself. Some places don't trust me about how spicy I like it and don't make it spicy enough. But this is also a good idea for people who want it spicy and don't realize how spicy Thai food can be. Such a cute and delicious place! Excellent cocktails & some of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. Also enjoyed the fried brussel sprouts, the pad see ew, and the pleasant atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

This is an updated review after coming here a second time. I dropped it to four stars from five because the prices have gone up and although it is good I don't think it's as good a value. Frankly, it's a little overpriced imho. Fresh rolls are $11 when I can find them in Boston for under $5 sometimes and never more than eight or nine dollars. I may come again but value is very important to me.

We enjoyed everything we had! All the foods being served to us were delicious and they all tasted authentic. The ambiance was good. The servers were all nice. I enjoyed my Rhode Island trip because of this wonderful restaurant. We recommend this one! It is really a “Must try” in the area. Thank you!

Tried this restaurant on July 17/23 as it was near where we were heading, The Breakers. This was the freshest and best prepared Thai food that I have ever had. If you are looking for healthy and authentic and at a great value then this is the place to go. The owner was very friendly and accommodated our needs perfectly. Too bad our hometown doesn't have this high quality restaurant.

This is an amazing piece of heaven in Middletown. Authentic Thai cuisine and wonderful service. 10/10 would recommend when in the area.

My new favorite place! The BEST Thai food in New England, hands down. Every single ingredient is fresh, every sauce is authentic and made from scratch. Pro Tip- the summer rolls are a must! The mussels are amazing big enough for a light entree or share App.The dinner entrees are huge and def. large enough to share. Def. Try the Tiger steak lettuce wraps and their Curry!

I frequently visit this place for lunch, great vegetarians options. I also enjoy that they have a full bar.

P.S their is plenty of parking available at the back of the restaurant.

Food is just OK (I have Panang Curry), not standing out from other Thai restaurants. Ordered to go at a pretty quiet Tuesday night, only 2-3 tables of customers in the restaurant, one table of 6 was already having food, another table of 4 was deciding on their order, so I put my order in real quick. For god sake it took 30 mins for them to make a Panang Curry and a Sticky Rice with Mango, even I can do it from scratch at home. And the check was $30+
In summary, food is OK, service wise, waitress is friendly, but 1-star for slowliness, and forgot to include utensil, atmosphere is pretty good though.

This was our third time coming to NaPha Thai Kitchen. My wife is Thai and a foodie. When I asked her where she wanted to go for dinner this was her choice (that says a lot with all the Thai options in the area). A very nice atmosphere and excellent service. We started with Mangoes Roll and Port Gyoza. The Mangoes rolls have a wonderful look and fresh taste and I highly recommend giving them a try. I had the Massaman short ribs for my main course and it was wonderful. Yes, it is a mild curry but flavorful and the beef just melted in your mouth. My wife had the Pad Krapow and enjoyed her meal also. I had the ChaMaNao (Thai lemon Iced Tea) for the first time and loved it, very refreshing.

Absolutely loved the food, it was an amazing place to go have lunch with my friends!

We’ll come again to try other dishes and see if we find anything delicious.

Was on the hunt for Pad Krapow with Crispy Pork. Every restaurant will vary in flavor with this national dish of Thailand.

Pad krapow is one of the most popular and easy to prepare dishes from Thai cuisine. Holy basil (called bai krapow) is stir-fried along with a source of protein (stuffed meat, fried fish or tofu), garlic, chilli peppers and other typical Thai flavourings. Sometimes green beans or spring onions are also added.

Will definitely come back to try the other dishes but for the rest of 2023 it will be the hunt for the best Pad Krapow around 🥳🥳🥳

Super slow. Terrible food. Pricey. I was the only one in the restaurant just before noon and service was SLOW. Took over 5 mins just to get a menu. Other people came in and sat next to me. They had to get their own menu since no one came by. Then they waited 15 mins before anyone came to get their order. My food wasn’t coming out so I had to go up and ask them where it was since it had been 20 mins (I ordered before anyone else was in the restaurant). Tom Yum soup was SWEET. Spicy basil fried rice was wet and sticky with a jambalaya consistency. Had to ask twice to get the hot chili peppers. Service is SLOW and they don’t realize their lack of service since there’s no apology or recognition of their ineptitude. Price was on the expensive side as well. Will never go again.

This is the best thai place on the island and maybe in the state. I’ve been to the others and they don’t even come close. Staff is courteous. Food is flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere is clean and neat.

If you like duck, you must order theirs. It was cooked to perfection.

NaPha is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Middletown, Rhode Island, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with attentive and friendly service. But the real stars of the show are the drinks and food.

The thai food here is probably the most authentic in Rhode Island. And I've been to quite a few places in the providence area and around here. I honestly never had a tom yum soup so flavorful anywhere else!

It was a rainy snd foggy day in Rhode Island, and i was craving for a hot Pho. Pho usually comes with vegetables separately, however, this restaurant didn't give an option but put everything on the bowl. Wish they brought out vegetables separately. Restaurant was clean and dish was decent (broth was much thicker) but the quantity was too small compare to the price of $18. The service was not somewhat disappointing as well. Overall, this restaurant can be better to focus on service and quantity.

We stopped at NaPha Thai for supper on Easter Sunday. It was one of the few restaurants that was open.

The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was very good too. We got the Masaman Curry with Tofu and the PaNang Curry with Mixed Vegetables.

The only issue we had was that they forgot one of the three dishes (we got two of the Masaman Curry) that we ordered. We overheard the people at another table have the same thing happen to them. They did correct both issues quickly though.

Despite the order issue we had a very good experience and plan to return there again when we are in the area.

I've had Thai everywhere you can get it and NOTHING could ever measure up to Na Pha. The service is friendly, and the food is the best. Tastiest tom yum soup I've ever had I could eat it everyday. Delicious lo mein, pad thai, fried rice..... everything I've had been amazing.Fried tofu is spectacular. Run friends. Run do not walk do not waste time go now and try this delicious food!

Small nice and cozy. Good parking behind the restaurant. Reasonable price. Good food. We tried vegetarian dishes. But some pad Thai and fried rice had eggs.

Waitress spent the entire time disrespecting American people, America in general and delivering backhanded insults to my wife in Thai. Food was OK. My Pad Kee Mao was good. My wifes Tom Kha Gai was not.

The food here is incredible and very authentic! My wife who is Thai confirmed that as well. The staff is warm and welcoming. The cocktails are delicious as is the cucumber-infused water. This is the best Thai place around!

Awful experience. Appetizers took forever to come out, they were cold and they forgot one. Then mains came out 45 minutes later, my main order was never put it. I had to repeatedly ask where my main was before they realized no one was cooking it. I had to ask to have my water filled. Waiter never came to the table to check in on things or fill water. When it came time to pay, waiter never picked up the card, we had to walk to the bar and have someone process our payment there. Honestly, the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Food was overpriced and mediocre.

They have two huge gallon containers on the bar filled with cucumbers They serve cucumber water beautiful glasses for mixed drinks nice wine glasses for wine Service was amazing They were very busy I know a couple customers did not have patience but I think they're forgetting that this is not a fast food Chinese place This is Thai food that takes time to prepare the fresh mango roll was so outstanding it's going to be my go-to lunch.

Not sure what Pad Thai people commented in here. I ordered a Chicken Pad Thai since it's really hard to mess that one up. Came out pretty terrible actually. Dried, old chicken and dried noodles. Also thought it would be spicy at least a little but it was rather bland. Peanuts was probably the best part of the dish. Very disappointing. Dont recommend this place.

Barely greeted by the annoyed hostess/owner as I entered to pick up my to go order. Not a good start! Ordered online to pickup 5 items. I arrived home to find that 3/5 items were wrong. Plus item #4, the Thai Pancake, was drenched in oil and inedible. Returned to get corrected order and brought the oil soaked, mushy Thai Pancake simply to show them. I did not want a replacement or refund. One staff was appreciative that I brought the problem to her attention. However another staff person told me it was my fault and I shouldn't have ordered it because it doesnt do well for takeout. I only live 2 minutes down the road so it's not like it sat in a to go box for any significant length of time. Not only was I rudely treated, but my corrected order was also wrong. No more Napha for me!
