Came here after a piano competition to get a quick bite, but the food was amazing. I got a house fried rice with salmon, which was priced fairly. The salmon on the side was unexpectedly large, and there was more than enough food provided. Left feeling full and pleased. Restaurant was quiet and staff were respectful.

Excellent service from phone or walk in. Loved the green curry with Jasmine Rice. My wife had the large bowl of soup and had to take some home.

The food here — I got the duck — is fantastic. Just make sure to ask for plastic utensils if you are ordering food to-go. Otherwise, they won’t be provided.

I originally came in unsure of what to get, and the woman at the front (Lamphone Vora Vongsa) patiently waited for me to make my choice. She didn’t rush me or walk away. When I decided to have green boba she recommended I have their taro instead. I figured that might be their specialty, so I decided to give it a try. Sure enough it was amazing 10/10!!! Their taro tea was made with coconut milk, and the bubbles were the perfect texture (not chewy at all). Additionally I decided to get the beef Teriyaki, and she added rice & vegetables, but the price was still just for the boba and beef! And when I went to go pay she politely bowed and constantly said thank you. The service was incredibly wonderful, the place was fairly clean and the food was amazing. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food and appreciates good service/meal suggestions!

A very comfortable setup. I had Lemon Grass Fried Rice. It is quite authentic from a Chinese point of view. The rice is dry with a well-balanced taste. Will come again.

This place is amazing! The food is so good. This place gets me through college and is always consistent. GET THE PAD THAI!!

Honestly, I'd probably rate a little closer to 4.5/5. Love it they offer tofu as a protein choice. Not many asian places seem to do that in this area. Steamed dumplings (and sauce) are particularly delicious.

We had a meal here, we were told the food was really good. Our food was overcooked, crispy chicken and wings. Some of the items we ordered never arrived.

Great food. Everything is fresh. Had the Emerald Plate. Nice selection of veggies in a mild sauce. The summer rolls were plump and springy. The peanut sauce paired well with them.

UPDATE: THEY HAVE A NEW CHEF! just got laab gai again today, it was very different than the other times i got it. No spice, needs salt, severe lack of acidity. It had huge chunks of cooked white onion for some reason? Tasted really nothing like how laab gai should taste, Not good. Bummer.

I just called to ask why this happened and was told they have a new chef. Be wary while ordering and give specific instruction! Things that should be assumed of a thai dish may not be there anymore.

Wow and Yummmmmm! Absolutely delicious food. We had Green Curry, Yellow Curry, Malay Noodles with Beef, Crab Rangoon and Summer Rolls. Everything was perfect. This was our first time ordering, it won't be the last!

Simply Thai is simply delicious! The perfect respite to a busy or a rainy day. Whenever I am in the area, I always need to make a pitstop here for a meal. Everything there is on point - from the summer rolls, to the curry, to the Thai Iced tea. I haven't been disappointed by a single menu item yet.

Excellent, flavorful real Thai food - home cooked and delicious

Ordered their version of nime chow as a side with crispy duck pad see ew. Rolls were absolutely massive, tasted decent, but my issue was with the pad see ew. Noodles - 4/10 (all stuck together in big globs). Duck- atrocious. I’d honestly give it a zero and I’m not trying to over exaggerate. Whoever cleaned and sliced that duck should not be in the food industry. In total I found 3 bones, one of which jabbed my upper gum; that was fun …. In my honest opinion, Tong D in South County Commons is much nicer. Hope this helps

I haven’t been here In probably four years, but I have always loved Simply Thai. It’s under new ownership since I last visited, but their food is arguably better now and they really care for their customers. Best Drunken noodles in RI!

I could eat this food every single day and I honestly don’t think I’d ever be tired of it. Phenomenal cooking always, the portions are considerably large so you never have to worry about still being hungry later, and a very friendly staff.

Drove 1/2hour to Emporium ( no idea how to get there)to try this Thai place.The young girl on phone was sweet as pie as she took my order.I got chicken satay with Xtra peanut sauce, shrimp padthai,, thai ice tea. I sat in my car and shared with my dog Dylan. It was PHENOMENAL! When checking out,I didn't have enough change to leave a tip,so a nice family from India broke a 20$ bill and I was able to tip her without taking all her ones out of drawer. I wish I left the 20$ now because that food was so f.....g good!!!!!!!! I'll be back and will let my friends down there know that they are giving Satang a run for their money!!!!

One of my all time favorite Thai restaurants. The mango fresh rolls are so tasty, I love their pad Thai, mango curry, and everything I have tried. My husband agrees. Ordering online for pickup is so easy and everything is ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I highly recommend! Also lots of vegetarian options.

Amazing food and friendly staff. Pan fried dumplings are best in RI. My favorite dish is the ginger and baby corn with broccoli instead of peppers but many love their drunkin noodles as well. Definitely worth a stop! 😉

Best food on campus. They have a great selection; everything I've tried (crab rangoons, pho, pad thai, and mango curry) was delicious. This is a self-serve place so you order at the counter, they bring the food to you, and you clean up after yourself.

I had lunch today at Simply Thai and my poor rating is for the item I ordered - Thai fried rice with chicken. Worst fried rice I have had at a Thai restaurant from coast to coast, absolutely no flavor, none whatsoever. It was basically a mixture of white rice and flavorless chicken pieces - that's it, practically devoid of any flavor or spices that you visit a Thai restaurant for. I had to dump 4 packets of soy sauce and a packet of salt on the dish to make it barely edible. The only good thing I can say about it is the generous portion. Not going back, again.

Their Pad Thai is always my go-to if I'm at uri (working) at lunchtime and don't know what to get. So good!

We love this place. It can get packed at lunch time during the school year. They have great soups!

The food was delucious, but the portions are too small. As much as I loved the food, I probably won't be back.
