I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I don’t protect any business serving food. We can get very sick by consuming old food or spoiled food. This is the worst Thai food restaurant in all of Rhode Island the reviews must be made up!! My order was #49 it was purchased at 12:04 PM on February 26, 2024 I got three items the Tom yum soup looked like colored water with last minute added onions, uncooked mushrooms, uncooked, bitter tomatoes, and two shrimps looked nothing like the picture. The sticky chicken taste like the sauce was old!!! And to say the least it’s mows 7:44pm at night and I worked the long shift so I couldn’t go back to return it but I did call them and nobody called me back like the lady said that they would. The Bangkok fried rice, beef, dinner taste like it was old and smell like toilet water, as soon as it touched the tip of my tongue I almost threw up!! Please see real time pictures!! I do not recommend going here unless you want to be sick and pay a lot $29 down the drain. Also put wrong name on order after giving it to them three times and spelling it!!! They never offered a refund gross 🤮 food 🥘

And paid $31 in total . However the flavors were great . Wings very flavorful, rice was yummy and fresh good amount of vegetables, great flavor . Mango sticky rice was so yummy , best I’ve tried so far . Customer service was good as well . Over all satisfied and will return to sit in diner .

I'm from NYC and my cousins took me to this most amazing place. The food is QUALITY you can tell the chef pours love into the dishes. We were a party of 7. And we tried many different appetizers and main courses. Everything was great. The staff was amazing. At the end the chef comes out(I thought we were in trouble because we probably were loud, but NO) and greets us. And we were praising her and the food and drinks. That was a special treat. Great ending to an amazing dinner experience. Thank YOU all

Great service and a nicely decorated place.
We started with the sticky wings which were deep fried with a sweet chillies oil on top. I had the Bangkok duck for lunch with the sticky rice. It was fried and crispy.
My wife had the Lad Na with beef and super fresh veggies. She loved it so much.
We had to try the mango sticky rice which was Awesome! Sooooo sweet and good!
We loved our visit and the service was fantastic!! We will surly be back

I love everything but the tilapia which didn’t have much taste, the rice and sticky mango did not have the coconut sauce.
(Rice was a ad hard) other than that I enjoyed the food.

Service is a bit slow. They only have 1 person working the room. Food is tasty. Basil fried rice and beef pad krapow are excellent. Papaya salad is decently hot.

I am asian. I cook asian food on the reg. My kids and husband are asian. Bangkok is not asian. We visited a week ago (for the second time) and we were devastated by the pathetic service, the food that we ordered and waited for for over a half hour (the server never put our order in), and my husband asked for a simple vodka and soda water but strangely they did not have any soda water and when he asked for sprite the bartender said she could not find the f'ing sprite. I now understand why when I drive by there are less than a handful of cars in the parking lot on a Friday evening. My husband Jason B. and I work very hard for our money and refuse to spend it on deplorable, rude, and ignorant service. This place was a complete joke. You are better off getting your dinner at the Dollar Tree (which is right around the corner). Trust!

Love this restaurant!!! The people are friendly, the place is clean, the food is fresh and delicious. The beef pho soup is really good and the shrimp fried rice is to die for.

This place is a low-key hidden gem with reasonable prices. The food was made fresh to order. Always a good sign when you can hear pots and pans, chopping and sizzling from the kitchen. My soup was a generous size with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, A true flavor explosion! I also ordered the basil fried rice which was perfectly spicy and flavorful. This place is a must try for flavor and spice lovers!

This place has a strange smell but the food and service was good.

The soup I had was amazing and I'd like to give it a five star rating just for that. The business seems to be family run. As much as I like that arrangement in a small business, without getting into details, the service left much to be desired. I will be back for the Tom Kha Gai soup, regardless of any shortcomings on the first visit. Hopefully I can give a better rating on service next time.

Food was just ok-pretty bland- I tried this place a few times but both times disappointed- last time we came we Asked server for no peppers in a dish since my mother cannot eat hot peppers- The server, took it upon herself to only have one pepper into the dish even though we said no spicy peppers….so we kindly asked her to remake it again since we asked for no peppers, and they charged us for both dishes even though the server decided herself to make the first dish wrong… No interest in ever coming back-

Food is horrible. Not like it use to be! Charged me for a dinner at 2pm, refusing to allow me to order lunch!

I felt unwanted as I approached the bartender to pick up my to-go order and was told by her that I could not order a margarita as I waited because she was going off the clock. My order was incomplete by an order of chicken satay and rice. When I called to speak to the manager I was all but a used outright of lying and she continues to make excuses that my order was complete; it was not! Also food was less than par, poorly seasoned and overcooked. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

Despite getting the food delivered from Grubhub which was a tad late, that’s not the restaurants fault. The food was amazing though. I ordered the crab rangoon, sticky spicy wings, and the spicy calamari to start. The crab Rangoon was so crispy, and so flavorful, very rich and slightly sweet creamy filling, which I prefer. Sticky spicy wings were just as described, very spicy ans I ordered them, sweet, and sticky overall finger licking good. Fried calamari was my least favorite, flavor was good the sauce I was not a fan of, but of course with take out the quality of the food isn’t the same was very soggy upon arrival. I also ordered pork pad krapow, I ordered it very spicy but was still to me more on the mild side I can take the heat. Even though it was not my preferred level of spice, the flavor from all the basil, the peppers, the onions, green beans danced in my mouth. It came with a side of white rice with pairs perfectly. I ordered the fiery beef pad Thai although I did not get to indulge in it because I was so full I took a taste and the flavor of the noodles, meat, and veggies were on point. Lastly I got the mango sticky rice which was my favorite of all the dishes. Mango paired perfectly with the sweet coconut rice, with the toasted flavor of the sesame seeds on top next time I’ll be ordering 2-3 of those because I finished the whole thing by myself. Overall I enjoyed my dinner and I will definitely order again and again. Unfortunately I did not take photos because I was too anxious to dive into the food.

This place is trash, apparently ownership has changed hands from the owners of Green Basil. Food was cold, customer service poor, cook was combative ( could have been the owner) and refused to switch out dish and instead abruptly brought over the bill despite the fact that my husband was still eating! Honestly don't waste your $. This restaurant was once amazing. Go to Green Basil!

Best Thai food I’ve had in RI. Staff is very friendly, portions are perfect, and everything is full of flavor without being too salty or sweet. Highly recommend the massaman curry and pad woo sen.

Spiraling Downhill Fast!!
Used to Love the food and service, but since they opened a 2nd location in RI they are hemorrhaging badly! Today I ordered shrimp pad Thai for lunch... in a sectioned container I got 2/3 container of order for $13.49 with 3 shrimp... they said it was the lunch size and shrimp was extra! I will not be back. The "Thai Star" on Dyer/Park gave me the dinner size with shrimp for $12.95 and it was tastier & looked more appetizing for a full order! Competition is great! Sorry Bangkohk you are no longer a speed dial on my phone!! You shot yourself in the foot!

The food is good but the service is horrible. We waited 30 minutes just to be told our ticket got “pushed back”. I asked if we could just get our spring roll and she said it would be about 15 more minutes. The waitresses were unaware of who took the orders and whose table the food was going to. It’s really sad that I witnessed someone come in for pick up and leave before we were even told that our food wasn’t even prepared as we sat waiting. I’m sad that we won’t be coming back because Thai food is limited in the area, but I will travel for good service somewhere else.

I was feeling a bit under the weather and haven't been eating much... But the Thai soup I ordered for delivery was absolutely amazing 5 stars in itself. Warm flavors and a large amount of fresh Vegs/fixings to go with. I can't wait to try other dishes and visit the restaurant.

I placed an order for a few items last night and when I arrived home I noticed that the chicken wings were completely uncooked and raw inside. As well, the satay chicken was raw. Called up and they told me to being it in. Told the wife to put the satay chicken in the oven for the kids and I brought the wings in. They did make me a new order and confirmed that the wings were very under cooked. You would think they would comp you an item for wasting my time twice. (They still charged me for the spring rolls I ordered when I went back with the returned raw chicken) upsetting

Good food. Appetizer Sampler was very good. Perfect to share while one get a taste of everything. Tom yum soup was perfectly spiced to hit the spot. Both drunken noodles and Bangkok spl were very tasty.

My takeout order was pretty good. I got their Chicken Pad Thai Noodles ($15) and it was a nice portion with a good amount of chicken. The noodles themselves were amazing and they were very juicy and soft.

Were I thought the dish was lacking is the chicken didn’t have much flavor and I wish it had more shredded peanuts. Those bites were delicious.

Overall, okay for the money.

Ordered the pad krapow with extra heat and the bangkok chicken. Both dishes were delicious and just what we were craving.

Would not go back. This restaurant has one person serving both the bar and dining room. There is no system. No one knows who ordered what or what food is for what table. The cooks walk around asking if a plate is yours. We waited probably 20 to 30 minutes to order. Then had to wait about 45 minutes for our food.

To bad I didn't take pictures the pineapple rice was good and the drunken noodles were straight fire not to mention some of the other items were also good

Decent food, but we were there at lunchtime and when the bill came, we were charged dinner prices. When I inquired about that, they said they were no longer offering lunch pricing, which was still on the menu (menu had lunch and dinner pricing on same menu). Felt a bit duped that this wasn't mentioned, as we were there at noon and it was clearly lunchtime.

We went here a while back and loved the food. The past 2 times the place has been crazy. None of the workers are masked, there were people that I'm guessing were owners just walking around in regular clothes and in and out of the kitchen with no hair net or gloves. we had to sit and wait for 20 minutes to even be asked if we wanted a drink. We waited another 15 minutes and our drinks still hadn't come out so we got up and left. Such a shame bc the food is very good.

This has quickly become my go-to Laos place. Their food is always fresh and flavorful. Ask for the Sticky Rice menu; it has traditional Lao food. Don't forget to get some of their Lao specialities. The Lao style papaya salad is incredible!! If you are looking for authentic Lao food, I would recommend this place.

Dinner last night. I've been a Friday night regular for three years now. I was a little skeptical as ownership changed hands a few weeks ago. The meal I had was just great last night. A Leechee martini, Lad Na and a shot of Grandpas medicine ......I'll be back next Friday.

Love this place! Authentic Thai food made from scratch. I'm impressed with the quality they maintain without having a competitor force their hand. Active owner is a great host and is on top of every detail. Well stocked bar and a great staff. Did I mention great food?!

When we drove there for lunch before going to Plymouth, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed due to staffing! I know stuff happens, but if your going to take reservations, get a phone number and let people know if something happens!!

First time I tried them, very disappointed. Order scallion pancakes way over cooked. Order Sizzling Himmaparn with shrimp. There were no roasted cashews or carrots in it as stated, instead had tons of onions. Was suppose to be a mild garlic chili paste sauce. Definitely not a paste sauce and couldn't detect any garlic.

Usually always a wonderful experience, getting the Thai Noodle Soup. Soup is always fantastic. But I ordered the Pad Thai tonight through Grub Hub. It was so gross, literally disgusting. Did not taste right at all, maybe because it was the end of the night and they were rushing...I don't know. Don't order the Pad Thai. It turned me off from being a regular at this restaurant.

This was my first visit to the establishment. The inside was clean and decorated nicely. The wonton soup was the best I ever had. The scorpion bowl was ok nothing fancy and I wasn't wowed by it. The sampler platter was good especially if you want to try different selections of food they offer. The sticky wings were good but I'd get them well done next time. The beef pad was fresh and a large portion. My only complaint with it was the sweetness of the sauce, was just too sweet for me. I'd order it again and ask for a different sauce on the side this time. I tried my friends sizzling beef plate and it was good. They followed good covid precautions as well to which I was glad. Will definitely be returning.

In the past, I quite enjoyed the food. I called last week to make a reservation for this week. When we showed up the restaurant was closed, when I called to complain I was given an attitude as if I should have know that they would be closed. I confirmed the reservation with the gentleman that mad it for me and the hours on the door indicated they should have been open... I will never go back and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone's else.

This is an okay restaurant. It is clean and has a large bar. The number of options in the menu is small. The seems more like fusion than authentic Thai. The service was great.

Over charged by 40 dollars asked to reverse it and give me back my 40 dollars. It has been over a week and they still have not done it. I have called them everyday. Laziness abounds here. Orders wrong and food took a long time to come out there was only 3 groups of people. Served food to some of are guess while others still waited for 15 mins for there food. Not worth the aggravation

Wow. The food and service was SO good. Those who know me know what a harsh critic I am but I have nothing negative to say about this place. In fact, I’m almost hesitant to post this because I don’t want to fight for a seat next time I’m there. Lol. Thai crispy rolls were amazing and the drunken noodles were even more amazing. I used to travel an hour into Colchester Ct to get drunken noodles but now I can get them 3 minutes down the road. I did take-out tonight but we are looking forward to sitting down to our next meal there.
