As for the taste, I can safely say I have discovered some of the best Thai chicken wings I’ve had in years. They were perfectly crunchy and delicious! I started with the Tom Yum soup, and while I got the veggies and not the chicken, it still had an excellent flavor. Between the two dishes I was very happy with my selections.
My companion had the pineapple fried rice with chicken. She loved it! The texture and flavor were perfect, and the chicken, coming on sticks, was crunchy and enjoyable.
While she had a Thai iced coffee, I had a Thai iced tea, each a very satisfying accompaniment.

Definitely a good spot to have lunch. Have the chicken wings!

Saw the great reviews so I ordered takeout. The food tasted pretty good but there were hygiene issues here that I cannot get past. My wife and I were eating the pineapple fried rice and I soon pulled a dark piece of hair from my mouth. My wife, who is blonde, continued to eat her rice and shortly thereafter pulled a whole piece of pork from her mouth dangling on another long dark hair. We said no more rice for us and decided to at least try some of the Tom Yum soup. After finishing my first small bowl, I proceeded to eat my second bowl and found a black eyelash or eyebrow hair floating on my spoon. I cannot recall the last time something like this has happened during a takeout or dine-in experience. I have not contacted the restaurant and I do not care for a refund. I will just not be ordering from here in the future. I would suggest eating your food in a well-lit room!

Delicious! I was sad to see Mai Thai close, so I'm very happy to have a new favorite Thai restaurant nearby. The Pad Thai is perfect and the Thai Basil Fried Rice is excellent too. We will be trying many more dishes here. Everything was piping hot and the portions were generous.

I've returned several times since the above review. Every dish has been wonderful. My new favorite is the Golden Crispy Chicken. It is so flavorful and with just the right amount of spice. The Drunken Noodle is another winner. The appetizer chicken wings are THE. BEST. wings I've had anywhere.

So glad this place is so close to me, but even if you're a typical Rhode Islander, this place is worth the trip!

This place is the overall best and 2nd place isn't really even close.

Happened upon this place and decided to try it out. Very glad we did. Had three apps and five main dishes, and every one of them was five star delicious. Will return, and often. The food is a cut above. Wish I'd found sooner.

Plenty of parking. Inside there are tables, not a lot, maybe a dozen or so. We got there early and had no problem, by the time we left it was almost full.

Many people picking up takeout, will try that next time.

These folks are the sweetest! I mis-timed my arrival to grab takeout by a good 30 minutes, so I called to let them know I was coming late. They made sure to keep it warm (or made it later?) so that it would be fresh and ready when I arrived. Haven't experienced that degree of thoughtfulness from a business in a long time. Truly a gem of a spot!

Excellent spot, delicious food, great attention to detail. It is a funny thing to comment on, but the carrots in their vegetable dishes are cut perfectly. They take spice level requests seriously. Very polite service. I feel lucky to have this place nearby.

When this place first opened I LOVED the drunken noodles. It was perfect, just the right amount of spicy and wonderful flavor. I thought I had found my new local place. Unfortunately, the consistency here has changed. The level of spicy that this is at now regardless of any scale is flaming hot, even for someone who likes spicy food. I have had it three consecutive times now at this face melting level. I have ordered it mild and there was absolutely no spice. I have ordered it a 2/5 scale (according to them) and it’s a face melter. I don’t know how to just get this back to the normal level they used make it at standard. I am not completely giving up on them, but I hope to find a consistent way to get back to how they used to make it.

The chicken satay was very good, very tasty. The crispy chicken over rice was just okay. Nothing to get excited about. Chicken breast meat is not my favorite. I like the dark meat, much more flavor to it. Not sure if I would go back there again, but I would definitely get the chicken satay again if I did.

Food is very authentic Thai cuisine. I am very happy with what I ordered: Tom yum soup, Yellow Curry chicken on white rice, and Thai fried rice with Tofu! I will go back again! ❤️🔥

Food is fantastic. I have had a lot of different Thai food, and this is one of the best in the region.

Since moving here from the West Coast, it’s been really hard not to compare the Thai food from my favorite restaurant to the food here on the East Coast. Since finding this little gem I couldn’t be more satisfied. Their service is phenomenal and the food is wonderful. The owner Billy couldn’t be, more welcoming if she tried. If you want really good authentic Thai food, this is the place to visit in all of New England.

We are new customer's and we love it. A friend that's a regular there took me and another friend and we were not disappointed. I loved it so much I took my kids and they took their cousins.

We had a terrific dinner at this cozy restaurant - as someone who has travelled in Thailand, I am fussy! Four of us shared 3 appetizers and 3 main courses and it was all delicious. The host/server was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We were VERY happy customers! Clearly this is a local Cranston gem. Highly recommend.

We got the appetizer platter with our meals. I got the Pad Woon Sen. It was really good. Great place to go if you are a vegetarian. My husband had a lot to choose from.

Little road side Thai place- the ingredients were super fresh and food was very well prepared and seasoned. The service was quick (although it was not super crowded). We ordered Massaman Curry with chicken, udon noodle soup, Pad Se Ew with pork edamame & fresh rolls. Would visit again.

Wow! I’ve been searching for a good Thai restaurant and I finally found it! The chicken pad Thai was so flavor and fresh. We also got the crab rangoons and golden hug. Everything was great and stayed hot on the 25 minute ride home. Highly recommend!

After walking by this place countless times on the bike path last summer and smelling the lovely aromas, I finally tried this place out in October. Don't let the unassuming appearance from the outside fool you. The food here is darn good. Add good portion sizes, wonderful service, and a beautifully decorated interior to the mix, and you've got a phenomenal operation that I'll be returning to soon. Nice and peaceful there as well. My buddy loved this place, too. Good thing it's so close to where I live!

Fooled once by rave reviews, I returned to Baylee Thai Cuisine in search of redemption, only to find confirmation — the food here does a remarkable impression of culinary despair. The vibrant Thai zest must have taken a sabbatical because what landed on my plate was a bland mystery bereft of soul.

Vegetables shouldn't evoke the notion of gnawing on a cardboard box, yet here we are. One would think that capturing the essence of cardboard in a vegetable would require effort — apparently, it’s an art form here.

Service aside, which was undeniably pleasant, the food has solidified its place in the annals of my dining misadventures. I walked in hopeful, but twice walked out defeated by dishes that seemed to have forgotten how to Thai. The true mystery remains — who’s writing those glowing reviews?

It is authentic Thai restaurant and you will like it if you prefer spicy and sour. We ordered Thai fried rice, pad tai and panang curry. The fried rice and pad Thai had too much cooking oil. The curry was flavorful.

The toilet urinated smell escaped and you could smell that when inside the restaurant. 😕

Their portions are the most generous I've had at a Thai restaurant and I'm proud to say that it was so tasty that I cleared my plate! It was truly the best plate of Pad Thai, with plenty of peanuts sprinkled on top! Paired with a Thai Iced Tea, it was the perfect combination.

Definitely a hidden Rhode Island gem that needs to get more exposure and visitors! My friend and I had a great time and I think we even got to meet Baylee herself. 🥰

Baylee Thai is the Thai restaurant I’ve been looking for ever since I moved to RI. The portions are huge, but more importantly, the food is excellent. Highly recommend the coconut soup and the Pad Si Eew. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. I felt like I was welcomed home when I entered the place. Can’t wait to go back!

We had the crab Rangoon, drunken noodles lvl3 spicy, and the curry lvl2 spicy. It arguably was some of the best Thai I've had in Rhode island to date. The depth of flavor and quality cannot be beat.

They made the best Ladnaa (flat rice noodle with gravy) and I came back several times for it! The restaurant is run by Thai-Lao nice people who really know the recipe and get the right ingredients. I ask for my Ladnaa to come with Chinese broccoli and pork l, like how it's cooked in Thailand. They perfect it Everytime! I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes too.

My Thai place in Providence closed and so I tried Baylee Thai to see if they can match my favorite pad Thai in RI. It’s definitely the best Pad Thai in RI. I’m a huge fan of noddles being cooked perfectly. Great flavor and fresh ingredients. We started w the chicken Tom Yom soup and it was delicious too. This is definitely my new Thai place.

This was legitimately the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. The restaurant was immaculate, the service, impeccable. And Baylee herself was an absolute delight. 12/10 recommend. :)

I can't believe that I missed visiting this place for such a long time. This is a little hidden gem in Cranston, which I believe serves the best Thai food in RI.

The atmosphere was simple and yet cozy. Reception was very warm and the owner Baylee made sure that we are taken care of well. She took time to spend time with guests and was made sure everyone gets the best attention possible. Kudos to her hospitality.

Food arrived fast enough. We tried padthai, yellow curry and minced chicken dish. All of them certainly exceeded our expectations. This is no mean feat considering that we are quite picky about food. Food was flavorful and spice levels were appropriate. Portions were generous.

This is a BYOB place and I am thankful that there is no corking fee.

If you are in the locality , this is certainly a must visit restaurant.

The take on the traditional American Thai faire is on point. The ability to spice from New England acceptable, to actual levels one might have to have a couple years experience to tolerate, is great and takes away none of the flavor or richness of the meal whichever you choose.

So try a familiar noodle, experiment with a curry, or sample a house favorite. You will enjoy it.

Native Oregonian who was raised eating lots of variations of Thai food. Moved to RI a year ago and have tried every Thai spot around the entire state (not an over exaggeration). The best restaurant I’ve found? Baylee Thai.

Honestly, we haven’t had Thai food anywhere else since we found Baylee.

Spice levels are perfect, the noodle and curries aren’t over oiled, portions are awesome, and the chef specials are more than worth their while, check out the chicken wings!

Excellent service. Food was outstanding! They are BYOB. They charged us $3 for opening two beers. I thought was fair. You can only bring beer or wine. I will definitely come back.

Excellent thai food, service is excellent, very fast and friendly, not usually crowded and the prices are good. The menu is varied with most dishes served at both lunch and dinner. They do close for an hour between 3[m and 4 pm but you should check the open times.

Excellent food and presentation. This is a return visit. Both times I enjoyed equally and will definitely be back.

Flavorful, well portioned Thai food with outstanding hospitality. Definitely found my new Thai spot. We will be returning, soon! Pad See Ew and Rad Na were delicious. The Som Tum had a very authentic taste. Thai tea was quite tasty as well. This restaurant is only 4 months old as of writing this review and I know it will offer many years of amazing Thai food for others to enjoy.

Small joint. Super friendly staff! Food was wonderful and fresh, I'll be back for sure. Tried pad thai, fried rice, chicken satay (best thing I had but it was all good), tom yum soup.

So good!! We got a soup, some apps, and a noodle dish and everything was excellent. Their "level 1 spicy" is definitely noticeably spicy (perfect for me), so I'm sure that if you like a lot of heat they can accommodate. Everything was hot and fresh, wonderful complex flavors, good sized portions, and the restaurant itself looked spotless. Happy to have this new option!

Baylee Thai Cuisine was amazing! I will definitely be back. I met up with some girlfriends for lunch and the service was top notch. Our hostess/waitress was so attentive and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. The tom yum soup is perfect for a cold day. The masaman curry was bomb. Mango sticky rice also didn’t disappoint. My one critique is it was a little cold in the restaurant but the food and service were wonderful.

I cannot gush enough about this place. I have eaten here 4 times in the past two weeks. It is probably my favorite restaurant in Cranston. My favorite is the crispy chicken!

Also, if you are not good with spice, be sure to ask for 0 spice on the stir-fry dishes, not level 2 spice like I did once. I am usually good with spiciness, but even 2 was too much for me. 0 was flavorful, but not fiery. Definitely recommend this place.

My new favorite Thai place! I ordered the Thai green curry and Mango sticky rice for take out. It was the best I've ever had and I've tried many Thai restaurants as it is one of my favorite cuisines. Employees were very kind and the place looked very clean and cozy. I hope to come back and dine in soon.

I love Thai Food and Baylee is the best I have had. The restaurant is clean and the owner is great. My only fear is that it will become too popular to get into. But seriously good food and healthy.. so delicious!

My wife and I happened to be in the area today and stopped by on whim. We had fried pork dumplings, crispy chicken, drunken noodles, and tom yum soup. The food was absolutely delicious and was only overshadowed by the service. I cannot recommend them enough. If there was a sixth star that is what I would give them.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. The owner was very welcoming. The coconut chicken soup and the chicken spring rolls were delicious. I will definitely be going back.

Everything is delicious! I had only ordered take-out in the past and the food was great, good flavor, nice sized portions. But last night we went in to dine in and it was a really nice experience. I tried something different than my usual and loved it! The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Our server was welcoming, kind and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meals and are looking forward to going back and trying other dishes on the menu. Great new Thai addition to Cranston! Thanks Baylee!

We’re so happy we decided to try this new restaurant. The menu offers a good variety of dishes and “heat options.” If you’re on the fence of what you might enjoy, go east on your first order. I typically choose a “3” but decided to order a “2” and I’m glad I did.
The flavors were fantastic on every dish we ordered. Balanced, flavorful and the vegetables were crisp, not soggy.
Definitely give this place some business. The food is very good and staff pleasant and cheerful.

The green curry is amazing and hands down my favorite so far, although everything we've ordered has been absolutely delicious. I spent considerable time in Thailand over the years and Baylee's is authentic and brings me back to the time when we could all travel without restrictions! I get lunch at least once a week from Baylee's and couldn't be happier that it is in my neighborhood. Go check it out, it'll become a favorite.

Flavor not for the faint of heart.

I ordered their lunch special to-go and hands down my favorite authentic Thai spot so far. The level of expertise shows in their dishes by the way they season individual pieces to their dishes to layer the flavor.

I ordered the chicken spring roll, pad si ew, and Thai tea.

The chicken spring rolls felt like comfort food. It had minced chicken, vermicelli noodles, minced veggies, and I think it tasted like taro was in there as well. Such a unique twist on spring rolls for a Thai spot.
Usually folks are mincing pork with taro for their Lort spring rolls. Which feels dense in flavor. But this was unique, light and crispy from the ingredients, comforting, and not heavy in the slightest.

Pad Si Ew with beef was delicious. The flat noodles cooked perfectly and the flavor has balance of sweet black soy sauce that isn’t overpowering at all. I really enjoy that the sauce was not overpowering it really helped tied in all the flavors from the tenderness of the beef to the crunchy veggies. Such an experience. I am just sad it ended so soon.

Their Thai tea is the real deal. Make sure to mix it well! It is sweet and creamy and has a strong bitter after taste like I like it!

Delicious! I was sad to see Mai Thai close, so I'm very happy to have a new favorite Thai restaurant nearby. The Pad Thai is perfect and the Thai Basil Fried Rice is excellent too. We will be trying many more dishes here. Everything was piping hot and the portions were generous.

I've returned several times since the above review. Every dish has been wonderful. My new favorite is the Golden Crispy Chicken. It is so flavorful and with just the right amount of spice. The Drunken Noodle is another winner. The appetizer chicken wings are THE. BEST. wings I've had anywhere.

So glad this place is so close to me, but even if you're a typical Rhode Islander, this place is worth the trip!

SO GOOD. Tried for the first time tonight with a friend. I god Chicken Pad Thai and my friend got a chicken entree. Tasted great and 100% authentic. When I came to pick up my food the woman at the front was very kind and personable!! Will definitely be coming back!

Super picky about my Thai, and this place was fantastic! Panang curry and pad Thai were delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and my order was ready for pick up on time. I ordered through their website (online pick up service), highly recommend! It was easy, and reliable, which is more than I can say about the majority of the restaurants in this state. Definitely becoming my regular place, can’t wait to try more dishes!

Absolutely delicious! The chicken wings are big, juicy, and flavorful. My husband said the panang curry tasted just like his mom’s home cooking and I agree! The pad see ew was also incredibly good. The noodles were perfectly cooked and it wasn’t too sweet like some other restaurants make it. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The BEST Thai food I’ve found in Rhode Island yet! I am so critical of food especially take out and their panag curry with shrimp was amazing and still hot once home! They even took the care to fry the ice cream quickly when my husband went to pick it up instead of doing it ahead of time and having it get soggy before pick up. Very good customer service and amazing food! Will be a regular !

What’d I have?
Chicken Tom Yum - chock full of ingredients, spicy and so flavorful.
Steamed pork dumplings - perfectly seasoned and sized.
Chicken satay - skewered grilled hunks of chicken - moist and great flavor.
Also the sauces they give are Ah-mazing. You can tell they are scratch made and made the food even better.

Can’t say enough about this place. Truly enjoyed it and highly recommend.

The food was DELICIOUS. If you like Thai food, get your order in.
