I’ve only gotten take-out as I live close, had chicken pad Thai and their spring salad with ginger dressing and added avocado. Everything was so good! Best pad Thai I’ve had in the area, it had the best sauce and was a great serving size. The ginger dressing could be bottled and sold, yummy!

My family and I had dinner on a Tuesday night. There was plenty of parking in the back lot. The restaurant is located on a beautiful street filled with local boutiques, restaurants, and cafes. The interior is well designed with a tropical vibe. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken Drunken Noodles, and Beef Boat Soup. The pad thai was too sweet for us, but everything else was delicious. The restroom is clean and the service is awesome. Recommend for those looking for a light meal.

Warm and welcoming little hole in the wall Restaurant in the heart of Lansdale!

Ordered mango coconut sticky rice and this was my first time ordering here. When I opened the takeout box, it had one visible hair on it. I was too far away to go back. I only ordered one item and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Do better please.

Well prepared, the server was welcoming and friendly. I was asked about my spice level preference when I placed my order. My Drunken noodles were served with a generous portion of protein (chicken). The Thai tea was maybe a tad weak, but I do have a tendency to prefer strong teas. So, no fault to the restaurant on that point, just an observation.

Been to Kub Kao about half a dozen times now. Everything has been so good, especially the green curry and the drunken noodles. We've been recommending this place to everyone we know who likes Thai food!

Good flavorful food. We went there few times and the food was consistently flavorful. Service is fast and good. Tried the Ginger crème brûlée which was also good but quantity was very less compared to the price paid for it. Except for that everything is good.

My husband, our friends and I had a great time last night at dinner. It is a calm and friendly atmosphere and the service is great. Everyone is friendly and the food is delicious. The pineapple fried rice dish with chicken & shrimp, the coconut and mushroom soup, and the ginger crème brûlée are awesome (forgot to take a picture). We also get take out from here and always enjoy the food. Great place to have in the area.

Sasi is the worse! She’s the owner and was our waitress. She never came out refill water but make us wait 15 minutes after we paid without bringing out the receipt and changes. I had to ask her but she only brought out the receipt, no changes.
My friend and I was having a deep conversation so I didn’t even realize that I didn’t get my changes back before we left . I put down $10 for tips even though food was not that good. Chicken was plain and portions are ways too small for the price.
I went through my receipt few days later and called them to let them know I didn’t get my changes back after I gave the waitress $80 in cash, my bills was $63.23 ( for dine in and take out). The lady on the phone made me repeat the amount like 10 times until I asked her to take a note. Then she told me her manager will call me later.
Sasi, the owner called me back ( who I’m pretty sure was the same person I spoke to on the phone earlier) First thing she said “ I remember you, you didn’t give me $80, you gave me $70 so I thought the changes was for tips”
I told her no it was $80 I gave her but she kept denying it. Then she switched to say “ oh I did bring the change out, you didn’t see it, you only took the receipt” ???!!! I got really mad at how bad of a lier she was and the audacity of her switching up on her own words in just 5 minutes conversation.
I also told her about the food and her response was “ YOU DON’T HAVE ANY RIGHT TO TALK BAD ABOUT OUR FOODS”
She also said, I’m the owner what makes you think I would steal your changes?
The point here is what makes she think it’s okay to not bring the change back without asking the customer if it was tips or what. What makes she think that the eat in bill was $26 and we would leave over $16 tips?
And the worst was how she handled the situation as an owner. It’s unacceptable!!! She said she will make it right by sending me the money back and keep asking “ how much do I own you?” i told her to Zelle my phone number with whatever amount she said she own me in changes but did she do it? Of course not!
The experience at this restaurant with its owner is hand down the worst I’ve ever experienced in my whole life.

I don't mean to be a jerk here but the staff is never, ever nice. I called to order take out for my family. Six people. The woman answers the phone by simply saying "hello". I said, "oh, sorry, is this the restaurant", and she says "yeah". I told her 'forget it'. Good luck being so stupid. Sorry, I'll go to White Jasmine. I hate this stupid non-sense. ***Also, I am not friends with Matt at White Jasmine. Maybe if you trained your staff right they wouldn't be so rude when calling.

Was looking forward to a cinco de mayo twist with my date seeing the reviews and having spicy tuna tacos(no longer on the menu) but the hospitality and service left a bad taste for both of us. Enjoyed the food and went to a Mexican restaurant around the corner to actually enjoy the festive day.

This place knows how to cook. Not many in Lansdale can serve up good food. I cooked fine dining, and this place has pizazz. I ordered take out delivery and dine in. I was eating 2 meals at a time that's how great it was.

Ordered drunken noodles. What I received were some undercooked or maybe brown rice noodles, with no veggies, and ground chicken. The food was spicy enough, but couple this with a small portion and cheap feeling chop sticks—felt like balsa wood, I would not recommend.

I am Thai. I came to visit my Indian friends in Lansdale. My friend brought me to eat Thai food at this restaurant because I told her that she must have been homesick since I've been from Thailand for so long and service here is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the food tastes like my country. It's like a top Thai chef comes to cook. I love Thai food.

Soft shell crab wasn't good. I had a diarrhea.

Ordered delivery from Kub Kao last night. We were all delighted with our food. The Tom Kha was very flavorful, with a perfectly cooked medley of vegetables in it. I would have liked it to have a bit of spice, but it lacked any. The Pad See Ew was excellent, and they did spice that one up on my request. Again the vegetable and shrimp were perfectly cooked. Pineapple Fried Rice was heaven, with a mix of shrimp, veggies, and chicken in it. Just a touch sweet and savory. We wished the Basil fried rice had more Thai basil flavor and that the rice was a bit crispier, but it was still the best we've had in the area. I'll be delighted to eat here again soon.

I ordered red curry with spice level 4 out of 5 with brown rice for pickup order. I visited dine-in like 6 months or so back and it was fantastic food with nice people.

My wife and I love this place. We order takeout at least once a week and whenever we get the chance we love dining in. The atmosphere is very relaxing and great for conversation. absolutely 10/10 and 5 ⭐️! we got the braised beef special the tom kha soup with tofu and the pad see ew dish and OMG IT ALL WAS 100% the bomb! we left we literal cleared dishes at lunch and are planning to return tonight for dinner to try out more dishes. hands down a secret jem in lansdale! if you havnt tried, get there now! all my dishes were gluten free and 100% fresh ingredients and it shows!! my taste buds have never been happier as to my stomach! thank you staff at Kub Kao!!!

My husband, toddler and I went here for an early dinner on a Saturday. Simple, casual atmosphere yet would be a good date night spot as it's byob. We started with some spring rolls that were nice and crispy. All entrees were tasty, with good flavor. Our fav was the massaman curry with chicken, and the pineapple fried rice and pad see ew with tofu were delightful. Most items are gluten free and the menu is nicely marked. Friendly service. We highly recommend and would come back for dine-in or takeout.

I've had takeout here many times and the food is consistently good but the dine in experience was somthing else. When served fresh on the spot the red curry was amazing 10/10, and the service excellent. Atmosphere is small yet relaxing at the same time with lots earthy tones, and textures adding to the aesthetic.

First visit to this restaurant and it will definitely not be the last. We all thought the food was fresh and succulent. The best Thai food in this area...I would say it's New York Quality. A refreshing / unique Thai Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - not only with the food but to our overall level of comfort while dinning. They were able to tailor the flavor to suit all of us ie from the older grandparents to the young kids. Everyone got exactly what they wanted and more. Pad Saeww, Kra Proa pork, fried Tofu and the dumpling were a big hit. Their poke bowl was super delicious as well.

We don’t live near by but would make this place a must stop next time we are in the area. I’d encourage those who live close by to go give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.

Best place in the world.

I ordered and wasn’t very fond, it tasted like regular corner chinese food. I was told to try again by a friend who liked it so I tried again and the chicken was great. Unfortunately they overcharged me and when I called about it and said their menu stated a different price they told me to just order through the app? So I looked and their food is much more expensive through the app. Then why post a menu online with prices? Honestly I felt taken. I still do. I wouldn’t recommend, I would never be shady about my prices. That’s a huge turn off for me, I always need to know how much what I’m ordering costs.

The staff is always incredibly rude. The one lady refused to give us water after we purchased food claimed that she didn’t have any. She gave us no utensils to eat with. They also got our orders wrong. Highly don’t recommend this place.

A hair came out of the noodle soup. All the staff in the kitchen didn't even wear hats. More attention should be paid to hygiene issues. The amount of food was a little small for the price, but it tasted good.

Reasonably priced dinner but felt little flat on the Thai flavors. I specifically asked for spicy and what I got was sprinkles of Thai red pepper on the top of the dish (refer to the pic) I had exactly 2 Thai basil leaves in the dish. My Reviews must have been removed as Google was slow to update the business name. Anyway, I went here the day they opened. This is the 3rd Thai place on Main Street now. The place looked like it was thrown together as fast as possible. You can still see the pencil lines from lining things up on the wall. The food itself was good. I usually get the green or red curry when trying a new Thai place as they are basic. That said the table we were at was right next to an air freshener. The place smelled like a bathroom basically. It was so strong you couldn't smell the food. If you didn't know, you want to smell the delicious food and not whatever fake smell was coming from the thing plugged into the wall. Restaurant 101 is to smell of all the food. If they fixed this and service a bit better as it also took a while to get us utensils. I'm sure the place will be better. Being the third Thai place though, it will have to be better than this.

Went back again and tried the red curry this time. Curry was pretty darn good. The duck was also good. It also didn't smell like an air freshener which was the biggest negative from the first visit. That being said I will return at some point. If the food stays like this they might get bumped to a 5 star.

1. Ambience: The place has a very cozy and authentic Thai ambience and it is evident that attention has been given to the minutest of things while considering the way this place has been designed.
2. Service: The hostess was extremely friendly, polite and helped us with recommendations too. She made sure we were comfortable with the arrangement as well as the food from time to time
3. Food: Being a vegetarian, I am always skeptical about the ingredients of dishes (such as fish sauce, etc) which don't exactly fall under the vegetarian category. The hostess explained to us the ingredients of the dishes and also suggested the Basil Fried Rice considering my dietary restrictions being a vegetarian. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I would visit again and again just for the rice. It was delicious and hot (as I wanted). My husband ordered the Pad Kee Mao (with chicken) and he was one happy lad after having it.
The vegetarian dumplings were ones to die for...
The cherry on the cake was the Tempura Ice cream which was delicious and innovative.

I recently visited KUB KAO a couple of times and had a generally positive experience. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere and tasteful dcor. The service was excellent, with our server checking in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
I ordered a pineapple fried rice for my kids, and they loved it! Thai dishes we tried were good, especially green curry, was flavorful and spicy.
Since we had our great experience at the first time, then, I ordered the poke bowls for take out. OMG, we were blown away by their poke bowl. Salmon and tuna were fresh with good quality ingredients. Their sauces: volcano and crunch are our favorite.

Great service, with a really nice vibe. The food was excellent! I highly recommend, and will definitely return. Wishing the owners the best of luck.

I’ve already been there 3 times, and each time was sooo good! Lovely ambience, friendly service, consistently delicious food. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Lansdale.

Very yummy and reasonable priced! I got takeout for lunch (tofu pad see ew) but the inside was cute and i want to dine in next time! Staff was also super friendly

It would seem these guys can't lose. housemaid Duck Sauce for the spring rolls and fried tofu is fantastic, unique, has plum in it. So it's not the usual mere sticky sweet. Seafood drunken noodles it's just a thorough delight, savory and spice; the noodles are not too heavy in the dish. Chou Chee Curry was fantabulous. All of our party raved about the poke bowls, although heads up, it is served on the rice, and the rice is warm... which means you might not eat the leftover sushi the next day, as sushi, you may want to cook it because it was warmed in the dish. Their house made peanut sauce is a little different than others I've seen. Nicer ambience than many Asian places. All folks in our party completely look forward to many more visits to have the rest of the menu!!

This place is incredible! The food is amazing!A true taste of Thailand. When you walk in, you'll be immersed in thai culture. They run the restaurant like restaurants in thailand do. You may need to say excuse me can you help me with this rather than having someone wait on you hand and foot. Different than american dining but I love this way. You feel like you're at home with family.

Lansdale has been experiencing a Thai movement lately and for me, a guy who loves Thai food, is one happy camper. Kub Kao is a terrific option that I find has the best Noodle dishes of the options nearby. They also have the Rock Shrimp appetizer which is awesome.
