Very nice experience, portions are larger than average, the meal itself was excellent. If you like spicy food get above medium hot which is suggested. The ginger tea is outstanding. Recommend the curry puffs and won ton chicken in the apps, had to get boxes for the meal, could not finish as mentioned large portions, bonus, extra meal out of it.
My family's never tried Thai cuisine before, so we decided to went to Thai Diner this weekend to try it out. Thank God we did. Everything was incredible and the staff is so friendly. Both Pad Thai and Curry were so impressive, and I bet everyone will love it for the first try. We definitely come back! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
We just ordered from here for the first time and the food was incredible! Very fresh, so flavorful, and great portions. Plus they have a section for allergies when you order, which is a great thing for people who have anaphylaxis. The level 3 spice was perfectly spicy.
We found the very aptly named Thai Diner to be a great dining experience. The ambiance is very casual with country diner decor; eclectic seating and fun dishware. The menu is traditional Thai and everything was delicious. Larb was spicy and fresh, their coconut soup had amble tofu, Thai iced tea was perfect. We'll definitely be adding this restaurant to our go-to list!
Have been coming here for at least 6 years. Tonight was probably the best experience yet (not that I ever had a bad one) Fantastic all around. Appetizers were great, started with a huge house salad and a plate full of moist chicken satay to start. We had mango curry and red curry for the entree. At this point Ive had a good mix of everything here over the years (noodle dishes are incredible) and not one time have I had a bad experience or dish. Super quick on serving us. We came around 5pm on a Sunday, very attentive and friendly. Love coming here and will continue too as long as we live local!

Excellent at every level and super friendly
BYOB or take out. Small indy restaurant abt 10 mins from the mall and worth it. The grilled shrimp appetizer, simple & flavorful to start, get them spicy (3).. their pad thai is always yum. My fave here is the prik pao, savory, protein and veggies and they can make it spicy. Its does have cashews. Try their “crispy” version on popular dishes, doesnt reheat as well, but share it and eat it hot for the full experience.
The food here is the best Thai in the entire Lehigh Valley
Delicious, and the staff are so sweet, but prices are expensive comparatively. I would come here more often, but I honestly can't afford to... wonderful food though!
Thai Diner smelled really good and looked great last time there.
Tom Kha chicken soup had a unique flavor profile and was good. Also had basil fried rice, which was absolutely delicious.
Added chicken breast to the rice, which was too much combined with chicken in the soup.
Owner is a great guy who takes care of his customers.
Love coming here.
Atmosphere is great, food is great, chicken ramen is my go to. It’s a lot of food however it is expensive. That’s my ONLY reason for 4 stars. Parking lot is tiny so some anxiety may ensue upon arrival but inside is clean and spacious and comfortable, it’s worth it for the food alone.
Excellent food!
I am at a loss of words of where to start. So the workers are the sweetest. The food? Out of this world! But it IS authentic! So you need the right pallet. I like authentic hot Thai, but they will warn you when you order if you order 911 Thai style. Due to our population they do make mild food, so don’t worry, just don’t add changes. I love them so much for being authentic and will be back in a heartbeat. BEST TOM YUM SOUP EVER
Wonderful!
My husband found this place while we were at Lehigh...little bit of a drive but so worth it! The food was outstanding and amazing customer service. They even gave my daughter the mason jar glass because she loved it!
Such great food! The appetizers were amazing, we had the fried wontons and would highly recommend. All the entrees we had were fabulous and they had such cute glasses and plate water
A new favorite local spot for my husband and I to grab a “treat yourself” take out meal. The food is so flavorful and so delicious (even as leftovers because the portions are so great for the value!) I am also gluten free and the staff always labels my food GF after I add my dietary needs in the notes. We will be back time and time again!
Food was a bit pricey for a diner. Portions were good. My kids had had crispy pad Thai. It was good and they enjoyed it. I had the larb salad It was well made , but way too spicy to eat. They offered to remake it, it was still spicy. I like spicy, but I guess my medium spicy is much different than Thai spicy.
Always good and nice presentation. Lunch special w salad and beverage for $16 is so worth it!
Very great food and great customer service just a little pricey
I’m from Colorado and I make business trips to this area often, and my coworkers and I always stop at this restaurant. Very kind staff, cool decor, and DELICIOUS food. +good, thick napkins
Had an enjoyable dinner. Appreciated the gluten free menu. The atmosphere inside and out is plain and needs an upgrade, but the food is good. I recommend it and will return.
We got Thai food delivered for dinner. I got the Pad Thai and Dumplings. Both menu items were great!
Great food. Great service. Best authentic Thai in Lehigh Valley.
I've now been to this restaurant twice. They gave my small children toys when we came in, which was a very nice surprise. The food is amazing, and the staff are so friendly. I can't reccomend this place enough. The prices are good, and the portions are HUGE. I can only eat half of the plate and get a second meal.
Stop in and you will not be disappointed!!!!
First of all….. you’re freaking joking right?? This is probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. Unreal. The outside of the building is deceiving… the inside is colorful, inviting, unique, well kept, so gorgeous! The customer service was absolutely phenomenal. They gave my 4 year old a brand new cute little toy, and also brought her her own little bowl of cut up strawberries because the server noticed she was eating the strawberries off our plates. The freaking crab rangoons…… knock your socks off. The SAUCE. Best sauce ever… I mean EVER… I don’t even like that sweet sauce I opt for soy sauce… I told her to hold the soy sauce. The freaking won ton SOUP….. I’ve never even had a more flavorful but comforting savory flavor. Don’t even get me started on the pad thai…. I can’t get over this place. Such kind people and such good food. Hidden gem that needs some serious recognition… IF you enjoy thai food. 10/10 would highly recommend. Telling all my friends. SHOUT OUT TO MY COWORKER WHO TOLD ME TO GO TO THAI DINER KITCHEN IN COPLAY…. I feel like kissing her on the mouth. Thank you lord for this awesome restaurant
Food was good, service was good, prices have increased considerably since my last visit.
The most amazing Thai food I’ve found since leaving California. Friendly family run business l, excellent flavors, quality ingredients, friendly staff. Even if you’re not local it’s worth the drive. Don’t be put off by the exterior or the location as it’s an absolute gem once you get inside and have the food.
I always enjoy getting lunch here. Great and friendly staff.
I don't know why last week i ordered drunken noodle for only 15 and now they charged me 22,this restaurant overcharged me
The so-called "signature dish" entrées this restaurant serves represent some of the best Thai food my wife and I have ever tasted!
In particular, the fish and Thai seafood served at this smallish genuinely out-of-the-way restaurant is, quite literally, 'to die for'. It's THAT good!
The picture below shows a special diner Thai Diner made up for me.
Fried red snapper with: mushrooms, onions, broccoli, red bell peppers, and fresh basil in a delicious (but mild), panang sauce.
Ordered shrimp pad Thai; and it was the absolute worst that I’ve ever tasted. The food was not seasoned at all, and the shrimp that was used were not deveined. Very disappointed in the taste and quality of the food.
It’s crazy to me that Coplay has a Thai restaurant, let alone one of such incredible quality. Don’t let the outside scare you. The inside is cute and the food is phenomenal. I hope this place stays here a long time.
Very popular place. Tons of takeout. I had soup and Drunken noodle crispy chicken. The soup was awesome. Not a fan of the crispy chicken. The oil to chicken ratio was just too high
This was our first experience with Thai diner. We ordered takeout and can't really comment on staff or atmosphere.
The food was excellent. We had the Tom Kha Chicken coconut soup which was wonderful. Next time, we'll try it with shrimp. The main dishes were Drunken Noodle with crispy chicken and Prik Poa Chicken, both well prepared and nicely spiced and flavored.
For dessert there was sticky rice with mango. The mango was ripe and the sticky rice was . . . nicely sticky. The dish had a little coconut milk for 'sauce' and was overall delectable.
Our meal was ready when we had scheduled pickup. Ingredients were fresh. Flavor was very good. We expect to visit again soon.
I get the Pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice all the time. It is delicious!
We'll definitely be adding this restaurant to our go-to list!
amazing food, some of the best noodles i’ve ever had!
I ordered takeout for the first time. I had pad Thai- medium which had the perfect amount of spice. I also ordered spring rolls and fried wontons which were equally as delicious. This is one of the best Thai meals I have ever had. I will definitely be ordering again.
Staff, food and atmosphere is outstanding. We recently hosted our holiday staff diner and we can't rave enough on how easy the entire process was. The entire staff was very attentive, everything was set up when we arrived and we were able to enjoy a private dinner. The food was over the top at a reasonable price. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough whether your looking for dinner or lunch and we will be back through out the year. Thank you so much to the entire team!
We had our staff holiday party here, the food was amazing and staff was attentive to all our needs. They went above and beyond from set up to clean up.
I get delivery. Food is always pipin hot just like I made it in my own kitchen. Of all the places I order from, this is A+. All other places the food is just above cold or comes cold. Love my Thai.
Excellent food! Very friendly and cordial people. Everything is always excellent!
Excellent food in a very unassuming atmosphere. It is a small, comfortable setting for some very good food. Prices are reasonable and the service is good.
Thai diner is always so great. The person who gave us our take out order gave my son a stuffed Mickey Mouse. He is still so happy and feeding his new toy pad Thai (which is always amazing)!
Everything was great except the parking.
This place is amazing. Puts other LV Thai places to shame!! The food is authentic, ingredients fresh and sourced from NY, family run business with the absolute best waitress I have ever had. The service is incredible. We found this place and keep coming back! Haven’t ordered anything we didn’t like and their recommendations are spot on. They also can adjust the heat from 1-5 to your liking. Soooo good! And reasonably priced too!!
The photo here shows mating chairs and tables. There is maybe 2 tables that are the same with same chairs. All the others are assorted with hard uncomfortable seats. Food took AWHILE to come out. When it did it wasn't very good.
Great find! Great food & service in a nicely decorated restaurant.
Delicious! Excellent service!
Ordered for takeout. AMAZING. My wife and I always drive past this place and was longing to try it. No regrets at all. I had the stir fry and my wife has the chicken and shrimp curry. The dipping sauce for the vegetable rolls was delicious, not sure what it was. Will be back again
Nice place good food, just not really spicy. I asked for spicy and they put chili flakes in it.
Flat #drunkennoodle #crispychicken , named after #thaiking who cooked while drinking booze.. no alcoholic in this good dish.
Very good food and so quickly prepared! We were very happy with our entrees.
Food was great!
Authentic Thai. Green curry, pad Thai and drunken noodles were what we got! Good portions. Location was not the best to choose, but food is amazing
Super delicious authentic Thai in a most unexpected place! Really glad we went after visiting Hickory Run State Park instead of racing back to Philadelphia. :) Really nice staff and well-presented food, and lovely decor. They are serious about spicing!
The best Thai in the Lehigh Valley. Great food and even better service. Very friendly family owned restaurant. Food was actually spicy unlike some other Thai places that are afraid to put spice in their food.
Excellent all around! Friendly service, the food came out quickly and was delicious. I will be back.
Food is amazing and good customer service!
Looooved it the quality of the food and the attention from the servers. Spicy and savory -- will love to come again. Pad Thai with crispy chicken is amazing!!!
My wife and I ordered from here today and were both pretty well blown away. She got chicken fried rice and I got chicken pad thai. I like spicy but didn't know their scale so went 3 of 4 star spicy and it was very hot, but not the unbearable heat you'd get from a dare. I also got the lychee tea and it had actual lychees in it. Amazing flavor in everything, and portions were enough we both have dinner for tomorrow. Highly recommended!
Best place for Thai food around! Always satisified with everything we order!
First time there and won't be the last. Very good. Quality n tasty.
Great food. First time we order and everything was delicious. We ordered thru Grubhub a bunch of dishes and shared family style. One or two dishes needed a tiny bit of salt but otherwise amazing food. The wings are amazing, chicken satay, pineapple fried rice is to die for!!
Absolutely beautiful. friendly, polite and courteous staff. Great food Will continue to visit this establishment and try every dish on the menu.
Excellent
Fabulous food. Friendly owner on site.
We go every other week always look forward to it amazing food great service and the best Thai tea love this place will continue to go
Amazing hospitality
The food here is FANTASTIC! The service is friendly. They recently painted and updated the inside. I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but it's a hidden treasure. Just wish there we more parking.
Always terrific food, huge portions, good prices, friendly staff. Love the pad thai!!! Best Thai food in the Lehigh Valley.
I discovered this place today and had an excellent experience. The food was amazing and I can't wait to return!
The soup was way to saltey and the rice and drunken noodles were okay
have visited this location for at least 6 years. Although I've never had a negative experience, this was undoubtedly the finest. Everything about it was fantastic. The appetisers were excellent. They began with a sizable house salad and a platter of tender chicken satay. For the entree, we got red and mango curry. I've tried a variety of things over the years (the noodle dishes are amazing), and I can honestly say that I have never had a negative meal or experience here. Very quick to serve us. On a Sunday, we arrived around 5 o'clock, with great attention to detail. As long as we are locals, we will continue to enjoy visiting here!
Everyone is so sweet there and the food is amazing! Highly recommend!
The food is AMAZING!
Fresh renovated , nicely done . Small family owned restaurant . Food is excellent, service is great. Be patient it's only one server but it's well worth it
Today was my first time ever trying Thai cuisine food and it was so delicious outstanding job by the the chef who prepared my food if anyone has never tried Thai cuisine food ever before I highly recommend this place thank you very very much this food has touched my soul and that isn't easy to again I am blown away by this food and this was my first time ever having Thai cuisine food and I drove from Lehighton PA so if anyone is looking for a good outstanding meal please patronize this business I promise you you will not be disappointed again thank you for the wonderful meal that y'all prepare for me God bless
Lately it has been so hard to get a good meal out… not at this place. Thai Diner is an absolutely phenomenal establishment all around. The food is to die for and some of the best I’ve had in Pennsylvania and definitely the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. Everything on the menu is delicious. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. I am very much looking forward to coming back as much as I possibly can. I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.
Best food in Coplay, amazing service. Fair prices and large portions. There is not one bad item on the menu so I always get something different when I go. My favorite item is easily the curry, though.
Great atmosphere lovely service.
**2023 update
The food and service it's still amazing. They have done some lovely updates to the inside feels bigger and with more space. Lehigh valley hidden gem.
Waited over an hour for our food and still didn’t get it.
One person only taking order and serving customers.
Dinner was fabulous!
Can't wait to go back
First time trying it out and it was above and beyond! I ordered the drunken noodle with chicken and an order of curry puffs. Both were outta this world, the puffs were phenomenal and the sauce was delicious. The noodles were also just as fantastic, I ordered one star for some spicy-ness and was impressed by how spot on they nailed that as it had just the right amount of spice. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!
Love it!
Love Thai Diner, we put in huge lunch orders just about every week here. The food is the best Thai food for miles, the servings are a very satisfying size, and the owners are super friendly. Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you...this is great food and worth your time and money!
By far my favorite restaurant for years, I always stop by when I'm in the area!
Food is always hot and delicious. The friendliness and customer service are spot on.
Excellent service, and very authentic food!
WOW! This place is such a gem. An unassuming appearance on the outside but a pleasant decor inside. Attentive, friendly service. Most importantly, the food was amazing! I love Thai food and have eaten at many Thai restaurants before, but the Pad Thai I had at Thai Diner today was the best I've ever had. It was packed with flavors, a good portion, and beautifully presented. The shrimps were cooked to perfection.
The crispy chicken drunken noodles was absolutely delicious as well. I've never had drunken noodles with deep fried chicken on top before. The chicken pieces were so crispy and great with the rest of the dish. Also a generous portion. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
I asked for medium spiciness(3 out of 5 levels of spiciness) for both dishes. While those were really delicious, I think those who like spiciness may need to take it up a notch.
I wish I lived closer and will definitely visit again whenever I am in the area. 10/10 recommend!
Went there for dinner tonight. Food, how it was presented as well as the service were excellent. Keep up the good work.
First time there. Was extremely impressed. The atmosphere was great. Service was quick and friendly. Food was phenomenal. I started off with the Thai House Salad, and the Crab Rangoons. Great creamy center. The Thai Iced Tea was delicious. I had the Pad Thai Lobster for entree. It came with shrimp and scallops also. All delicious. My friend had the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai and the Wontons.
I love this place. I don't live nearby, but if I did, I would go here often. I'm so glad to see they made it thru the pandemic intact. I had the crunchy chicken drunken noodles - fantastic! I'll be back soon.
Excellent! Expensive but worth every penny. I have never had a bad meal while eating here.
Excellent customer service and delicious food, always a nice treat going here
Best Thai food in the valley. Have been coming here religiously for ~3 years. Closed on Monday’s and closed (almost) daily from 3pm-5pm to prepare for the dinner rush.
If ordering takeout around 5pm, I suggest calling right at 5 to get your order in first. Typically a 20-30 minute wait after ordering for your takeout to be ready for pickup, depending on how busy they are.
Some dishes don’t travel as well, but that is normal for rice-noodles in my experience
Large portions, and we regularly get 2 whole meals out of 1 entree
Re-opened for indoor dining, attentive table service and byob. Sit-in dining will sometimes be served on disposable dishes, although the last 2 times I’ve went it has been on normal plates. Might have just been using disposable during the transition from “takeout only” due to covid restrictions.
Be cautious with the spicy scale. 3/5 is a bit too spicy even if you have a decent spice tolerance. My mother orders either a 0 or 1 out of 5 and the 1/5 can be too spicy for her occasionally.
Definitely a hidden gem
This was the worst thai experience so far. I dont know why is it being reviewed so good. I literally went with the good reviews and was so disappointed. The drunken noodles were just onions to increase the portion size. I had the most horrible dinner.
4 words. Crispy Chicken Pad Thai.
Your welcome.
Friendly staff , great food , clean dining room.
I love this place for my go to Thai spot. I’m not a huge pad Thai fan but this place offers delicious other Thai options. Curry to lobster to fried snapper. Must give it a try.
Best little place in coplay, best thai food as well that we can find anywhere local.
Good food & good people
If you don’t like spicy get the level ONE and be prepared for it STILL being a bit spicy lol. Food was fresh tasting and hot when we picked it up.
1st time ordering from Thai Diner and the food was AMAZING. The curry puffs were crispy on the outside and so flavourful on the inside. I also ordered the chicken Pad Thai and the Thai Diner Special, both of which were put of this world.
Will definitely be ordering from them again.
They just opened to indoor dining so there is no wait staff but that didn't matter to us. Not a fancy place but the food was first rate. Fresh and delicious. This restaurant is BYOB and very affordable. We will definitely eat here again.
TD aka the G.O.A.T
Nice family operation.
Not sure what the previous customers are speaking of but I’ve eaten at numerous 5 star Thai restaurants and I have to say this small out of the way restaurant has completely surpassed 90% of supposed fine dining restaurants with half the cost. The drunken noodles were absolutely amazing and the service was warm and attentive. 5 stars is not enough for this hidden gem !
I had to update this review from a 5 to a 3. Thai Diners flavor and quality is definitely not what it once was. The food lacks the depth it used to have. Now it is just ok. Not sure we will be back.
This place is a hidden gem if you like Thai food, particularly love their Drunken Noodles. Excellent choice. Absolutely recommend this place.
Amazing food and even better service. This is family owned and they went out of their way to deliver food to our office as a thank you. Refreshing to experience the joy of the holiday season. Thank you to the Noyvimol family!
Delicious food and large portions!
I am so happy I found this spot.
My go to spot for Thai food now.
Friendly staff and tasty food. For me, the flavor is here. I love spicy food and when you ask for spicy, they really do make it spicy unlike other areas. Good pad thai and the red curry is also delicious!
The pad thai was great! Flavorful, not too peanuty, not overly sweet, and they know how to make it spicy good.
I had the chicken pineapple fried rice as well as the fried wonton. Wow your food is amazing. Quality and quantity wise!! Loved the food thank you. Definitely recommend!
Nice people easy take out good food.
Grabbed drunken noodles w beef. Yum
The food is awesome and the staff super friendly.
Friendly service, excellent Thai food.
Tried calling for the first time... I had a question about the menu, was told to look online, which was hard to read when you enlarged it... finally decided and was trying to call in a take out order and was hung up on several times. Customer service lousy
Food is absolutely delicious!!!my first time here, had a few different things…all were impressive….happy to find this place, now I don’t have to go all the way to Bethlehem for Thai🤗
Love this place and the pineapple fried rice w/shrimp.
Great food and prompt service!!
