I’ve been here quite a few times, but this was my first time visiting when not eating low carb (which is easily done here).
The pineapple rice and Thai tea were delicious! The fresh wraps are my favorite in town and they do a great peanut sauce.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were a group of 5 and the service was quick.
This is the best Thai food around.
I came here once 10 years ago, and it stuck out in my mind. When passing back thru today, I was excited to stop and try it again! It was just as good as I remembered!!
Wish I wasn’t 8 hours away!
Love the variety noodle❤️
Incredible food! The sesame noodle dish was the best noodles I’ve ever had! Really nice service- helpful and kind with good suggestions. Will definitely go again.
Fantastic place to eat!!! We were on a road trip in small towns and most of our options had been burgers and pizza as the availability was limited.
We searched Thai food and this popped up so we gave it a shot.
Glad we did!! The food was fantastic! I had the house special curry and it was delicious. We also got the Penang curry which was also delicious. The fresh rolls were fantastic also.
Staff seated us promptly, they were polite and provided great suggestions to our questions of the menu.
Look at stopping here for a nice delicious dinner if you’re in the area.

Wonderful authentic Thai food! Amazing experience
Surprisingly great. Pumpkin curry was solid, highly recommend!
Best Thai place till portland probably
Awesome staff took care of my food allergies and were knowledgeable. Yummy curry and pad Thai. Really enjoyed the spice on my curry.
Best Thai food I've had! Whenever passing by The Dalles, this will be a definite stop I'll make.
Food is some of the best Thai I've ever eaten!!!
Yummy!
We had the Tom Kha Gai Soup and it was good.
Always fresh and tasty!

Since the restaurant changed ownership I have been very impressed with the food. It is what I would consider spot on orginal thai resturant food. It is exactly the flavors of some of the first thai food restaurants I went to that got me firat hooked on thai food almoat two decades ago now. Thay said, I am lowering my rating because the portions are on the small side in my opinion. The first time I thought maybe I got a lunch portion but they do not have a lunch menu and I received the same portion for the same price at night. Perhaps it is their fault for making such good food but I hope they consider resizing their portions even if they have to charge another $1 or $2 in some cases.
Good food older dinner. Decent service.
yummy 🤤
I often go here for lunch. Good food.
I have been going here. Love it.
Do NOT, I repeat- DO NOT get the salad rolls. Total rip off, for a tube of lettuce with 1 noodle, no tofu or herbs. This is seriously comical. The noodle dishes I've gotten have been hit or miss but a hit is never a home run. The Thai iced tea and coffee are both horrible. Welcome to the asian food experience in the gorge.
Good Thai cuisine at affordable prices. Service was fast and friendly.
I lived in the Dalles for about 10 months. The city doesn’t have a ton of places to eat out, but this Thai restaurant does it right, these guy have got the best curry.
This place has amazing Thai food. The dishes are all unique and delicious.
delicious
Fresh and flavorful 👍
Nice discovery on the way to Portland off 84. Would recommend. Good fresh Thai flavors.
We had Tom kha and pad kaprow. Very satisfied
Love the house curry & pad thai
New owner but kept the cook and food is very good
Pumpkin curry w tofu and black rice was absolutely 💯 👌 perfect.. so happy to have it again..
Decided to be a little adventurous and got the Crispy Honey Duck. So glad I did! Delicious and nice service. I'll definitely come again given the chance.
We ordered Calamari that's what I'm paying for. Not half Calamari and half Fried vegetables. Then I ordered the Yellow Curry w White Rice. Not half White Rice, half Black Rice. You should at least ask the customer if they want Black rice or substituting half their Calamari w vegetables. Would it be okay if I just pay half my bill?
Great food!
Food was not as described on the menu and when I noted that there was no sauce on dumplings they poked through them to try and prove there was sauce rather than just give me some sauce. Rude and food was not authentic. I would not recommend eating here at all
My husband and I love this Thai food Restaurant. Always excellent food. The curries are awesome. The service is fast. Happy to have this place in the gorge!
Great food.
Great for a change in menu with authentic Thai food. The Tilapia was perfectly cooked.
Basic American Thai restaurant. Keeping it basic, no flare, no care. Curry was warm at best, blew on my first bite only to realize they didn't warm it up all the way. Also, it is not spicy. I could drink the curry without hesitation from heat or spice... obviously catering towards rural American palates. It shows by the hot tea being a tea bag, something you shouldn't even serve your dog. But Americans are trying 🙄 better Thai food available at 6th Street Station, Boss Authentic Thai Kitchen is the way to go if in the dirty
Staff is great, the food is slightly above average at best. The noodles are consistently rubbery, dry, and over cooked. Chicken comes out dry and cool to the touch. Doctor it up with some spices and chili oil and you're good to go.
I've been here a couple times now, before and after new management but it's still about the same quality food.
For a small town, it's ok. But if you're used to what Portland, SFO, or what LA have to offer...you're probably going to be disappointed.
Food was fantastic! Here for lunch. We had House special curry and Massaman curry! Will definitely be coming back here next time driving thru The Dalles 5star for sure
Wonderful, quality and consistent food. Service is always stellar.
Not as good as it used to be.
One time they forgot to put my order in and I waited almost an hour so I Didn’t have time to eat. I went again twice after that because I figured it happens and both times I asked for hot sauce and it never came.
Won’t be going again.
Love this place, great food & good service@
Food was pretty good. I had the Drunken Noodle, which is one of my all-time favorite Thai dishes.. Not much on the spicy scale though. It is kept a little on the cold side inside. I wasn't comfortable without my coat on.
Great food and awesome staff
Best Thai food in the gorge by a long shot, you can’t miss with any of their curries.
Always great food and service, friendly people and flavorful food
The restaurant itself feels friendly, comfortable and is spotless. The big windows make for a light and bright setting. Good service, too. The food was fresh and clean and good. The next time I will know to order something more spicy, though!
Honestly this place is exactly perfect for what The Dalles needs! They provide great authentic Thai food that's been spiced down for the locals who don't fully appreciate non American foods yet. I got the Tom Ka which is a staple way to find out how Thai restaurants work with flavors. This one was fantastic! While they didn't ask the spice level a trick I use is to get 'spicy on the side' and then spice to taste. The soup is creamy and vegetable heavy with strong notes of lemongrass and kaffir limes. The chicken is average and their shrimp is cooked with shell on full sized and not from frozen. I also ordered the pineapple fried rice which was exactly what it sounds like with no frills. Honestly they aren't a cut above a big city Thai place but they scratch my itch every time in town when I crave some authentic southeast Asian flavor profiles.
PS the chef can make the food extra flavored or spice if requested - I think they've learned how to negotiate authenticity with local appeal to the traditional 'meat and potato' lifestyle. The chef I noticed didn't speak English, used authentic ingredients, and was accommodating to every request I made <3
The best the extremely small city has to offer. The food isn’t consistent. Most times the noodles have been roughly and over cooked.
After being so glad to see the restaurant had reopened, we found the first meal there a real disappointment. The Pad Thai was a one-note heap on a plate - tinted slightly pink with tamarind, the only “flavor” element was the mildl sweetness the tamarind. There was no visual and taste contrast from green onion or lime, no crunch of fresh bean sprouts and peanut, no yellow tangle of egg. The single curled shrimp was indistinguishable from the pinkish slices of chicken. I took much of it home - and the next day threw it away. It really shouldn’t be called Pad Thai … maybe just “Chicken with Rice Noodles in Mild Sweet Sauce?” The other entree of scallops on lettuce was similarly lacking in flavor, though the scallops were properly cooked. I know the chef is supposed to be the same, and maybe all the ingredients just haven’t arrived yet, but right now this seemed more like an idea for a Thai restaurant than one serving beautifully presented and delicious Thai food. I suppose we’ll give it another try but the huge miss on a “classic” like Pad Thai doesn’t leave me aching to return.
Have not been in since they changed ownership but the food was just as good as it was before
Excellent food and wonderful friendly service!
The Best Thai restaurant in the Gorge!
House Yellow Curry, add shrimp, My go to dinner!
This restaurant closes shortly after I moved to the Dalles which instantly induced a craving for thai. Tonight I realized they reopened!! So, I dipped my toe in the water and got Chicken Pad Thai and my FAVORITE dessert, mango sticky rice. My pad Thai was AMAZING! Mango sticky rise was out of this world!! The pad Thai is full. These owners are gonna be my best friend! Now, back to my meal 😊
I don't like every thai restaurant, so finding this spot while traveling was such a relief after eating so much terrible food.
Great food, amazing service. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular.
Came here with a total of 9 people and ate everything "family style ". Since we were sharing everything, we got to try a lot of different things. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. Food came out quickly. I couldn't be happier! We will definitely return...and soon! Good to know there's a great That restaurant in The Dalles!
New name but the same great food! This place has the best Thai food I've ever had. The Dalles ring of fire is a must. Also if you get the duck you won't regret it but, get anything on the menu. It's all amazing choices. Service is prompt and friendly. I'm a big eater and the portions never leave me feeling hungry. Try to save room for dessert. The house made coconut ice cream is delicious. Still reading this? Probably should go try it.
So good and delicious! I’ve had the house curry special, mango paradise, ring of fire, variety noodle, coconut ice cream, and honey duck. Everything is so good, service is attentive, food comes out timely and hot, and the atmosphere is clean with a lot of seating options for large groups, families, couples, and single diners. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in The Dalles and I can’t wait to try more items.
Amazing food and amazing service! I’m obsessed.
Food was good but needs to be less sweet since the Thai chili was lacking.
Not the kind of tie flavors I’m used to very Americanized. Everything tasted like sugar. Was hoping it was going to be more authentic flavors and spices easy pass on this place the Thai truck in hoodriver is amazing will be going just there I suggest the owners eat there and maybe try to copy their flavor profiles
