After reading quite a few reviews, and seeing one other Thai place in town was closed for now, I thought to give this place a try. We drove there for dinner, so it was dark out. The parking lot as we approached was so dark, we almost missed the turn into the lot. It didn't seem like a single lot light was on. Thankfully, the restaurant has a large bright sign to act as a lighthouse.
Upon entering, the lady in the back was very friendly, and said to sit wherever. I believe she was the owner based on other photo's I've seen. The place was decorated, and not plain walls like you find at some strip mall asian restaurants. So it was a nice change of pace. I thought it odd that the menu was under a glass cover on the table. But I suppose that makes it easier for the staff, both in not needing to bring menus to and from, or keep them clean, but with the glass, cleanup is easier.
There is a large assortment of Chinese and Thai items on the menu. Which gives you plenty to chose from. I ordered Combo #7, and my friend had the Pad Thai. He LOVES spicy, and when the waiter said they season on the hot side, he picked 4 (from 1 to 5), and he said it was plenty spicy. He usually likes things 'Thai Hot' or 5. So this says something. His only complaint was the ratio of chicken to noodle. But he confessed that Pad Thai is a noodle dish, and the chicken is an adder. He enjoyed his plate. My plate was the Combo #7 with breaded white meat chicken pieces, fried shrimp, a spring roll and fried rice. The chicken comes with this pink sauce, which in my opinion is akin to a fry sauce. Nothing overly asian about it, but it wasn't bad. The chicken to my enjoyment was cooked well. It was juicy, and tender, and was real chicken meat, and not pulverized chicken like a nugget. The breading wasn't overbearing, just enough. Same with the shrimp. The spring roll was pretty basic. Not a lot of flavor, but wasn't bad. The fried rice is I think my only real complaint, but this goes on par with the rest of my dish. When I get a fried rice, I'm expecting color to show how much spice and seasoning has been added. This was basically white rice that was fried a little with a few added veggies. The rice was cooked well. Not dry, or overdone, and not undercooked or stiff. That said, I wish they added much more ginger, or garlic, onion powder... something. It wasn't bad... just not special.
Overall that was my experience. The food was good, but average. Not bad, just middle of the road. If you wanted to introduce someone to asian, this would be a good place to start before stepping them up to the heavily seasoned locations.
I might try them again, and try a different dish. Maybe it was just what I ordered. As I said... there is a lot to chose from. Maybe their chef is better at other dishes.
Otherwise, the Jasmin tea was great, the staff was very friendly, and it was a nice place.
The food is always great here. The service is quick and they remember my name. We like to din-in on our birthday and get a surprise as well as take out after a long day of work.
The food was delicious but it took an hour and a half! The couple next to us left after two hours with no food and no staff checking in with them . Both sides of the restaurant were open and must have overwhelmed the kitchen.

This is the Best Thai, Chinese food in town. Wasn't busy at all when other went to In Town were full waiting lines.
Not this place
We will definitely be Back!!!!
What a hidden gem. Chicken Pad Thai was delicious. Super friendly owner. Our server was exceptional. My first time .... will definitely go again. Wish I would have taken a photo.
Toom my mom to lunch. Had the classic Pad Thai. It was really good, and a great price for the two lunch specials (add shrimp of course! )
This is the place to go for excellent Thai food. Options for vegan and vegetarian diets also. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The young man who was our server was attentive and had all the orders correctly served which was no easy task as our party was 30 plus people. Wonderful experience. Five stars
We had yellow curry soup and vegetables with little chicken we loved it we will come there again and again
First time coming to Bangkok west. Had pork, glass noodles with bean sprouts. Was delicious. We will certainly visit again.
It has been some time since last visiting here.
Food was good, the egg flour soup was very unique and good.
Serving sizes were good.
Service was good, she encouraged us to order fast to avoid being behind a large group in the other room-THANK YOU.
Sweet and sour was not amazing but ok.
They will actually put chilies in their food when they cook it. Clean but could use some updates someday. Their prices are fair. Curries are the best, however I've tried other dishes as well and they were just as good.
Food is amazing, and the service is amazing. It's well decorated and well kept.
Always have a great meal with great service π
Good food fast service first time there the noodles were tasty

I tried this place a few months ago after hearing βbest Thai food in townβ and βitβs my favorite itβs so good.β
I am a Thai food addict. I was so disappointed. The food was bland. Zero flavor and zero spice even after asking for it to be spicy. We hardly touched our food but hate wasting so we brought it home. The next day I recooked it and seasoned it to make it edible. We tried pad Thai, rice and an appetizer that I canβt remember what it was. Might give them another shot in the future since they have been around for forever and maybe it was a bad day for them. Iβll update my review if my opinion changes.
Food was so delicious I would recommend this place to anyone!
Always a great go to. Great food great price.
Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Service was pretty quick, very friendly, and accurate. I'll definitely be back.
I adore this place and the people that work there. They have always been extremely kind, and their Tom Kha is the most authentic, and best in town. Iβd go there everyday if I could
Great food as always and best soup in town! Love Jit she's a sweetheart β€οΈ
Best Asian food in Roseburg
We love to eat there, owner very friendly, and the young man that works as a waiter is energetic and a pleasure to talk with. The food is great, we go there for birthdays. We're lucky is in our neighborhood.
Best fried rice and orange chicken in Roseburg.
Food is excellent - their Tom Kah soup & Red Curry Chicken rivals any Thai food found in a big city restaurant.
Absolutely phenomenal food and service! Definitely go there if your seeking authentic Asian food! π
We(my husband and I) never have a bad meal.
Best Chinese and Thai food in town! I want to go back more often!
Went here for my birthday dinner tonight. Waiter was very cool. Place was packed. Ordered one appetizer and an entree for myself and one for my husband. Food took nearly an hour to come out. Appetizer and food came out at the same time. Food was fresh, but meat had gristle attached. Simply was not our cup of tea and we will not return. We prefer Seven Thai.
It was just ok
Good food at a reasonable price for lunch during the week.
Love their food!
Great Thai, and Chinese food! Friendly staff!
By far the best Thai food I have had in Douglas county. Everything we ate was delicious.
We were here on Valentine's day, and it was pretty busy. But even with the business, the staff handles everything wonderfully. Will definitely be back.
It was swamped when we went there. They had a large party. They juggled the busyness the best they could and the food was delicious.
Amazing food. π Red beef curry is really good!
Just ordered #42 Yellow Curry with Chicken for my dinner TakeOut Meal. It certainly did not disappoint! It was Delicious and I have plenty left for even another delicious dinner. Their food is so good!
I Highly recommend Bangkok West! I
Good food and fast service.
Good food, selection and service!
What a wonderful Lunch.
My girl friend treated me.
Great Food, sweet people
will for sure return for
Lunch or Dinner.
Awesome Thai, Chinese fusion food. Super tasty and kinda healthy for ya. Thier panang curry is my favorite in town.
Very good food
Great food, and fast/friendly service
Great food and service π
Food was amazing and the customer service is top tier.
Service was incredible! She was probably one of the best servers I've had the pleasure of encountering. The BBQ chicken & Pad Thai were great! The Spicy noodles were also really good!
Best seafood pad thai in town
Lots of seafood. Great service and very clean.
Amazing food and service! Always a great experience!
Good food at a reasonable price. Nice family owned business.
Our favorite place to eat!!!
Great food and the service was wonderful. The staff was awesome, so friendly and positive even though they seemed extremely busy and overwhelmed!
Excellent Thai and Szechuan food!
This is a wonderful Thai/Chinese restaurant that is open Monday through Friday only. Their food is very fresh and they are usually very busy. They tried to accommodate any special requests. The only reason I don't give them a five star is because there were two incidents that my scallops were burnt and I ordered something in a peanut sauce and the peanut sauce wasn't sauteed with the dish it came in two separate little cartons that I was supposed to warm up and cook later.
Very good food ..bathroom has a toilet that practically sits on the floor. Made it difficult for my elderly mom to get off of. Should change the toilet or add a hand rail.
Good food and good service. Large menu
Iβm just an Angeleno passing by and I didnβt want the typical fast food for road trips. I ordered a shrimp fried rice and Thai tea and it was so delicious. Did not disappoint at all. I will be stopping here whenever I make this drive again.
Very good food and service.
By far one of the best places I have ever eaten food from. I have never had this place before so yes I was skeptical but the helpful woman that greeted me helped me choose a dish #35 Prik Khing. Now I can't say enough of about this dish but it was by far the best thing I have ever eaten and you have to try.
Best Thai food in town!
I travel for 4+ hours just to eat here.
Excellent Thai restaurant
Best Thai food in town. The glass noodles are flavorful but mild with huge portion and lots of your choice of meats or vegetarian. I pay a little more and get shrimp, chicken AND pork. Be aware the pork is not Chinese style bar-b-q pork but fresh white meat that looks a lot like the chicken so donβt think as I did that they got your order wrong. My wife also likes their vegetarian non-cooked fresh spring rolls which she prefers to fried egg rolls, especially as she loves cilantro. Note that they are only open Monday-Friday; no weekends.
Wonderfully spiced food. Tender meat. Great service. Really nice people.
The food is fabulous
I lived in Thailand for a year, their Panang Curry tasted just like the food stalls back in Thailand. This is the first place I have been to that even compared to real Thai food. The ladies that waited on us were also so kind and sweet. Definitely the place to go to for Thai food in Oregon.
Great food but the hours change frequently. Coconut soup is really good.
Food was good and the staff is so nice
Yummy
Very delicious and out to the table quickly. Best chicken pad Thai I've ever tasted. Red and green curry's are out of this world.
Friendly staff
This place is a Roseburg institution! They have done a great job of making authentic Asian food that is customizable to your desired level of spice. Try the Tom Kha soup!
Food was good. Service was a bit spotty
Good food and service.
Great Food, friendly staff.
Great selection from Thai to Chinese and even a few American options. Great service, great food
We love eating here! It is our favorite place in town and we love the staff and owners! Great people!!
Great food, for a decent price bit you get enough to share or have a second meal out of.
Best Thai food in the burg, a must try. Service is the best. Great Phad Thai and Thai fried rice.
Good Tahi food. Each dish prepared the way you desire
Oh my goodness. From the start great food
Thanks so much
Pumpkin chicken curry is my favorite!
Great food great service
The food tasted good
Best service and most delicious food ever! I definitely recommend eating there.
I like the menu and service. I hope in the future they will expand their hours. Currently they are closed on both Saturday and Sunday. I think I would come more often if they will be open during the weekends.
No weird review here, literally just amazing, great food, great atmosphere, great owners.
Great BBQ Chicken
Best thai in town! There yellow curry is some of the best comfort food ever!
Great food and friendly people!!
Used to be my favorite Thai restaurant. Has declined in the last 8 or 10 years and we are probably going to give up on it. I am sad.
We love the friendly manager and staff. The resturant is always very clean and welcoming. The food is great and they often remember our preferences and see that we get it. Great family dining place, great party location too.
Unbelievably good
Love the service and our #10 Kung POW.
Good food and okay atmosphere
Good food and friendly staff.
Great food, great service
My favorite place for red curry. Consistently delicious with lots of vegetables.
Hot food,good portions,good atmosphere
It tasted ok but 1 hour later, it gave me raging diarrhea.
Amazing food, had the seafood Penang curry and bubble tea. Wonderful flavors.
Fantastic Thai food and super friendly staff.
I loved that i got to choose some really healthy choice. I had their special walnut vegetable chicken stir fry. I omit the high carb rice. The food was delish and very clean looking.
Good food friendly staff
You cannot beat the shrimp appetizer...16 for 9.95. Actual shrimp and not all breading.
A very good place to have great Thai food. The chile sauces are tasty ! The owner is really cool and friendly. I recommend this restaurant. Thank you Bangkok West.
Pretty below average. Used to be better.
Amazing Curry. Best in town.
Good food I liked it
The food is great!
Hands down the best Thai food in Douglas county.
We love this place. Service is great. We are regulars and they remember our order each time we eat there π
#9 lunch special with peanut sauce is all I get, and it's friggin fantastic!
Lovely little place nestled and tucked away. Delicious food and amazing atmosphere!
Great, spicy, flavorful
We love this place. My wife and I have been regular customers here for years and have never, ever been disappointed. Excellent, cheerful service and great food - always. They even have some dishes which are quite hard to find, such as Nam Sod salad.
Highly recommended.
The best orange chicken with broccoli and pad thai. love the staff and owners. chef Marilyn Moore
