Noodles, curries, stir-fries & other Thai standards served in a colorful space with booth seating.
Had a nice lunch / early dinner at the place. Took a while before we found it, my friend canβt recall the name of the place to google it.π anyways, we were famished by the time we got there. Food was great and delicious. Did not wait long for the food to arrive. Great place, will be going back for sure!
The food is FANTASTIC...like be back in Thailand, and the services was excellent. I also appreciate the willingness to accommodate kids and bring cute plates and cups with lids was so appreciated without us even asking! Also, the decorates are so authentic. Thank you for a great start to our weekend last Friday nightπ! See you soon!
ThaiPK is by far the best Thai restaurant in all of Portland and likely in the Pacific Northwest. It is always exceptionally delicious, served with great pride, kindness, appreciation, and they are very willing to customize the order to meet different in a variety of dietary restrictions. I have eaten at a great number of Thai restaurants in Portland, but Thai PK is by far the most delicious and the best value in town. They have so many standup dishes ranging from crispy basil chicken (not to be missed), salmon curry!, and delicious version of pad kee mao, exceptional, like curries? Try the red - if you'd like a little spice. Their papaya salad is wonderful- plus incredible, coconut shrimp and seasonable delicacies, such as pumpkin curries, and wonderful stirfry's, noodle dishes, and incredible soups and healthy choices in addition. This is seriously the best Thai food that you can find in this area. And even better that the people that own this restaurant, and every individual that works here is someone with incredible heart that you will feel so pleased to give your money to. This is a local business worthy of your support! If I could give it seven stars I would. Amazing food!
MMMmmmm! The ginger duck and crispy basil chicken were fabulous! Great service and a very clean restaurant. I can't wait to order again! Also, the shrimp salad rolls were very fresh and tasty.
I am typically not a fan of Thai food, though I am learning that really I am probably just not a fan of Pad Thai. I loved this place! They had tons of options on the menu - appetizers, entrees, noodles, stir fries, curries, etc. I chose the chef special ginger salmon dish which has a delicious ginger sauce and fresh veggies, and the salmon was cooked wonderfully! We also got the salad rolls as an app which were great. Also donβt be fooled by the old photos on google, there is no sushi here!! Very kind service and they had both indoor and outdoor seating available (we chose outside). Iβll be back!
Please be warned they have changed owners without notice, and now they use msg. Very obvious bc I ordered the same meals I always have for years but now this time i got a terrible msg headache and massively puffy msg eyes and fingers.
The dishes are really good, whole family love the food. This is a must-go restaurant in Portland. Gonna come back again.
Love Thai PK.
All employees are very courteous.
Particularly their spring chicken rolls with peanut sauce, and of course pad Thai Chicken is nummie .
Pleasant comfortable interior, quick and appropriately attentive service.
The green curry didn't seem spicy enough; unlike many Thai restaurants we patronize, this one didn't ask about spice level when we ordered.
MMMmmmm! The ginger duck and crispy basil chicken were fabulous! Great service and a very clean restaurant. I can't wait to order again! Also, the shrimp salad rolls were very fresh and tasty.
Food is delicious, management was very responsive and kind when we accidentally placed an online order while they were closed. Highly recommend!
Even with the compulsory 18% tip because we had 6 in our group, it was the most reasonable price we've paid lately.
On their website it says that they close for lunch at 02:30 we came to them at 02:00 and they didn't want to serve us inside and offered us takeaway food.
Nothing special by any point of view ...
Great food, family and neighborhood favorite π€© been coming here for years and it never disappoints!
We really appreciate an excellent service with your guy Tom. He is so humble and yet very hospitable. Great place to eat, and enjoy the neat and clean atmosphere.
Fast attentive service and delicious food. Nice neighborhood family establishment vibe. We got the massaman curry, pork fried rice, and crispy chicken basil. Will definitely come back again!
Didn't see any sushi on the menu, as the Google page advertises but the food was amazing..I got the roasted duck curry.. huge portions... Had a second meal to take home.. great flavor !!
We ordered the spicy catfish dish to go. The dish smelled great and tasted great. Wish we would have stayed in Portland longer to dine in and experience more dishes.
One of my parents' favorite Thai places. It's been around for years, and is always yummy!
Had a nice lunch / early dinner at the place. Took a while before we found it, my friend canβt recall the name of the place to google it.π anyways, we were famished by the time we got there. Food was great and delicious. Did not wait long for the food to arrive. Great place, will be going back for sure!
Nice presentation, amazing service, and delicious food. One of the more affordable places also, which is surprising for what they offer.
Great food and the service was stellar
Tried this place for the first time and it will absolutely be my go-to spot. Got Pad See Ew with tofu and itβs delicious and not super saucy. Thai tea is great too! Service was fast and friendly. :)
Crispy chicken basil is very good, other dishes are pretty standard
It was nice to experience flavorful Thai food after staying in my neighborhood far too long eating mediocre Thai. This place has so much pride in both the aesthetic and flavor.
The food is delicious, and very authentic. Highly recommend.
Staff was lovely! Food was good, pretty reasonable prices. My Thai tea was super yummy and served beautifully! The pad se ew was SO good. Massaman curry not the best Iβve had, but still yummy
I always eat the same thing there so I don't know what to write about the rest.
Typical looking Thai restaurant, clean and well ordered. The staff all seemed happy and were very friendly, service at all the tables was spot on and quick. I ordered Shrimp Tom Yum and the chef specialties Crispy Chicken Basil & Roasted Duck Curry. The duck was perfect, flavorful, and savory which paired perfectly with the spicy sweet crunch from the chicken and we couldn't get enough of it. As always the proof was in the Tom Yum, deep flavor and a thickness to the broth that proves time and detail in the cooking. From what I have tried so far, I will be coming back. Fantastic.
Btw: The Google menu is out of date by a few years, they don't do sushi anymore.
great ppl & food
This place used to be good, but the last few times it's been disappointing. The noodles have less flavor/sauce, and the calamari had a bunch of really dry, burnt ones that seemed like they'd been overcooked and left out for a few hours. That's something I associate more with fast food fries, not restaurant seafood.
Food was incredible, very flavorful, fair prices, good selection and big portions. They gave us Sriracha although there is a Sriracha drought which was a huge plus. Also, service was great and the food came out in good timing. Best Thai Food in Portland I've had so far.
Edit:
After giving this place a 2nd try I was very disappointed... The pad Thai tastes like straight ketchup to a point where it wasn't even finished. Btw the first time I tried different dishes which were great but as a flagship dish I was very surprised. I hope the manager sees this.
Feels lucky to live so close to such great quality Thai food. Order from here regularlyβtakeout or dine-in are both great. Have too many favorites to name but love their crispy chicken basil. Very kind and attentive service as well.
Outstanding food and service. Highly recommended.
Sooooooooo good.
Please bring back Thai chili's in fish sauce.
Excellent food
Yummy! Had my first take-out meal from Thai PK and was very impressed. The excellent flavor combination in the curry duck, soft salad rolls, and crispy coconut shrimp. We had Pad Thai, which came way too spicy, so we asked for a re-make, and they took care of us...the new Pad Thai was perfect. Will definitely return for more! Yummy!
This place is so good. Red curry is amazing

Every time we come here its absolutely delicious. The service is incredible, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The fish tank is a major plus too!
Nice staff, and decent quality clean food. Portion sizes are ok. Maybe a little on the small side.
The reason this place doesn't get a higher rating is because they assume all their customers want bland watered down versions of Thai dishes. (Not a good assumption for the business to make. Who chooses to eat Thai food, but without Thai-style cooking?)
At this place, if you see the word "spicy" on the menu's description it means nothing. You have to remember to take the extra time to emphasize to the staff that you actually do want it spicy. If you don't, they will give you a bland super sweet non-spicy version of the dish that has nothing to do with the description on the menu. It feels like they're catering to the palate of a child.
I know they're able to make legitimate non-bland Thai food, because a few times I have had it from them. I'm giving them 2 stars for assuming their customers don't want real Thai cuisine, and for having an inaccurate menu. If you can't trust the menu to describe the food you're ordering, that's a pretty serious flaw.
Love the chicken pad Thai, customer service is also very good. This place has been a great experience the last 4xs Iβve visited.
Always friendly service, good food. We asked for the calimari they way they used to serve it, with onion rings and they happily accommodated us. Our group thinks that this is the best Thai place that we go to. Out of three or places.
Ordered for the first time today and the cashew stir fry with chicken is great! Good portions and reasonably priced.
I would give them a 5 star BUT how are you CLOSED ON A SATURDAY???? Then again itβs Portland everything is STUPID is considered normalβ¦. Lost me as a customerβ¦.
Excellent food, great service, reasonably priced. Atmosphere is ok; kind of a generic strip mall vibe with vinyl seated booths. Perfectly functional but generally unremarkable. Ultimately doesn't matter since food is great.
The best pad see ew I have found!
Consistently delicious Thai dishes- especially the Tom Kha soup, the coconut shrimp appetizer, and the mango with sweet sticky rice dessert. The staff here are outstanding.
Fast, delicious, very reasonably priced, canβt wait to visit again!
Excellent
Excellent Spicy Catfish
I don't understand all the high ratings. Maybe I came on an off night. I got the eggplant and an iced coffee to go. Immediately in the car I knew my coffee was not drinkable. It was probably 60 grams of sugar. Thai iced coffee is supposed to be sweet but this was impossible to drink..I took it home and used it as simple syrup. (I hate wasting food).
The rice and eggplant smelled really good so I cld not wait to dig in. Same problem. Way too much salt and sugar. I drank a gallon of water just to get it down. I didn't have enough rice to make it edible.
Reasonable price and portion. Be warned, only go if your taste buds are dead and you're racing to an early grave.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in town. Always great!
My first time here, the pad Thai was reasonably priced and had lots of tofu which is awesome. The serving was generous and the turnaround time was very quick. My issue is that I could taste that they used ketchup instead of tamarind paste. Maybe they do this to appeal to American palates, but I found it very disappointing. Ketchup makes the noodles sticky, too sweet and vinegary. Plus itβs lacking so much of the complexity and earthiness that tamarind gives. I would have liked to see more veggies as well, maybe a lime slice. But all in all, this is a good place. The restaurant is very pretty inside too.
Absolutely fabulous food. Great portions for the price, and I highly recommend the Pad See Ewe, and sticky rice and ice cream .
Good lunch I had no idea it was there!
My sister and I are from Seattle and have been looking for a place on par with our fave place there. THIS IS IT.
It has the fried chicken with crispy basil (that I havenβt been able to find anywhere else) which is a huge plus for me. They also have great chicken satay (moist, not at all dry, great seasoning) and a good chicken pad Thai. My sister likes the crab fried rice; she gets it at every Thai restaurant we visit, and this appears to be her fave so far. We havenβt tried our chicken cashew nut yet, but Iβm sure itβll be delicious too.
The food runs a *bit* spicier than the other Thai places weβve tried in Oregon; if youβre a spice weenie like I am, round down a star from your usual, just in case. (The one star was the perfect level of spice for me - enough that you can detect and appreciate it, but not enough to deter me from shoveling it into my mouth haha.)
This is gonna be our go-to whenever we find ourselves even remotely close to Portland.
Great food. Excellent service. Right on Macadam near Willamette park. Big, airy room with high backed booths.
Service was awesome, clean inside. Love the high ceilings! Food came out so fast and everything we ordered was delicious! Highly recommend this place for a casual Thai meal!
Such friendly staff and everything Iβve had here is very good. Big fan of the Pad See Ew. Easy takeout ordering on their website.
Frankly I cannot accurately rate this place as the supposed hostess was so utterly unpleasant and unwelcoming we decided not too eat here! She acted like our walking in was a big fat imposition! Definitely not the person to be greeting guests!
Slow slow slow slow slow !
Don't go
Excellent choices, taste and service.
Generous portions but overall bland.
I love a few of their dishes. They all have a lot of flavor. One of the places my family enjoys eating at.
I gave it three stars because Iβll ask for really spicy and theyβll come back with a really mild dish.
Tasty, nice staff.
Fantastic service, some of the best Basil Fried Rice I've ever had, high standard in every detail of the experience.
Very kind service and they had both indoor and outdoor seating available (we chose outside). Iβll be back!
Friendly staff, delicious food. I think their pad see ew is better than anywhere else.
Don't order the spicy catfish, it's very very salty, not edible!
Excellent Thai food. Clean, crisp, vegetables, dreamy sauces degetarian
My favorite is their salad rolls ( get an extra sauce) and any panang curry!
.
Lovely wait staff, great prices.
I'ld love to dine in someday after CoVid. But
Friendly service and good food! The Roasted Duck Curry was fantastic. My husband wanted to try it and I couldn't stop eating it. We'll be back! Thank you!
Nice people. Fast turnaround. Reasonably priced and the food is tasty. Very good choice for take out in this area of Portland!
Super nice staff and pretty good food. Good selection of noodles and curries. The chef specials are the way to go for non-standard fare. Takeout always has large servings and the prices are reasonable.
this is by far the best Thai food I have had in this city. I decided to order something different today and ordered BBQ chicken, and they literally gave me a whole chopped up chicken. Super friendly family restaurant that deserves the business.
My favorite dish is their fresh salad rolls dipped in an outstanding peanut sauce. Their Pad Thai is pretty good, nothing special. The green curry is great - the perfect amount of spice. Their chicken and beef are a bit tough, dishes may be better just plant based.
Excellent service, warm atmosphere, and some of the best Thai food Iβve ever had :) (Drinks too, if like.)
One of my top 5 Thai places in Portland.
Lots of options on the menu without being overwhelmed. Every dish that I have had I would eat again.
I know that my super picky 12 year old daughter requests this place often. She loves the veg salad roll. Infact, she alone will wat 2 orders of them. (4rolls).
The prices are good especially when you factor the quality of the food being served. The place is clean with a super friendly staff.
Best Thai in Portland
My favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. Also... Their Crab Fried Rice is the best!
Consistently delicious. Great pricing. Our go-to location for Thai food.
Staff is always excellent
Good food, good prices!
Always delicious food and friendly staff. I particularly enjoy the green and yellow curries here, but they do it all well.
We lived in the neighborhood and ate Thai PK's awesome food for many yrs. The food is wonderful, prices excellent, service and people wonderful, and while my wife and I live in the suburbs now, we still go well out of our way to swing by as often as possible. We highly recommend!
Food is always just as I order it. And, truly, the nicest of people. I'm so grateful that in this current climate they are still open and serving their food.
I've never had a bad experience here! The food is extremely tasty and to-go orders are always hot and at the spice levels chosen!
Got this place to go. Just moved into the area and had a favorite Thai place in my whole hood before. This place is definitely my new favorite go to Thai! So good, good portion size for the price and just overall bomb flavors. Didnβt try the sushi but if itβs anything like the Thai I would devour it
Absolutely delicious. The salad rolls with chicken and the peanut sauce so good. The chili hot sauce just how we like it...HOT. Crispy eggs rolls excellent. Then the Thai Style Pork Ribs perfectly cooked. So tender and not smothered in sauce. With these crazy times with this virus going around we appreciate what your doing and the precautions your taking. Thank you. We are here in Portland for my Husband's heart surgery at OHSU. It was wonderful to find a place to take out. Can't wait to try another dish.
Delicious food, excellent service by super sweet staff.
Love this place! I haven't had anything here that I didn't enjoy, it has good prices and has become my favorite neighborhood restaurant.
Love this place! Great food, friendly service, and value priced. What more could you ask for?
Very disappointed about this place, it was one of my favorite thai food restaurants.
Service was deficient and my coconut soup had not flavor only water.
Good food and service
Fast service and good food.
Great food, friendly staff and prompt service! Definitely would like to go back. I offered the Pad Gai.
Absolutely awesome
The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are, for lack of a better word, dope AF.
Consistently great Thai food!
My favorite go to place for lunch. Love love love their food!! Menu is great. Service is friendly and accommodating!!
I loved it quiet place great service very friendly and amazing food.will be back for sure.
Good food
One of the most solid kitchen staff in town for Thai cuisine.
I was pleasantly surprised as to how flavorful the food was here. The price is also very reasonable. A great place for a quick Thai lunch.
Literally the best! Friendly staff, and of course amazing food.
We ordered seven dishes. All were horrible. Weβll never come back.
The staff here are extremely friendly and the food is delicious!!
Best salad rolls ever. Healthy, flavorful food. Great service. Consistently delicious.
Horrible Experience!!!!
Walked in sat down with hubby in a booth. Was not greeted or paid any attention for 10mins or so then water was dropped off.... (it's cool fairly busy)
Three more tables walk in 3 top ,2 top , & 6top, I get it they were busy.....
Girl finally came back took our order 2 thai coffees & couple entrees... easy breezy right?
Another 15mins go by ALL other tables that walked in AFTER us had full tables of food brought to them. WHAT THE HECK!! We still didn't even get our coffees at this point !!! GIRL waitress paid no mind to us at all.... but she was looking at our table alright!?! ...
We left and will NOT BE returning ...Guess I will spend my money elsewhere ....
Delicious food, great prices, lovely service. This place has a fantastic green curry that's very flavorful and satisfying. Large portion sizes, enough for tomorrow's lunch, too. I highly recommend!
Delicious
Authentic food, reasonable prices, fast service and incredibly kind staff. A little lacking in ambiance, but with all the perks this place has going for it, it's a fair trade.
We were sad they no longer served Sushi. All these sushi pictures should be taken down. That being said, the Thai food was pretty good
Large portions reasonably priced
Always amazing. Live the crispy chicken basil!
For the price, you can't beat the quality/portion size of food and service. My go-to casual dining.
Went here for Valentine's day with my partner, he was excited about the fish tank and I was excited about their glass noodles!
Wonderful, fast, friendly service.
Very tasty and great service!!
Amazing Thai food!
The food is consistently good though possibly a bit under seasoned for my tastes. The staff is very friendly. They can turn around a complex to-go order very quickly.
Good was very good and I would recommend it! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. They were able to accommodate an allergy. Cook can make meals vegan or vegetarian and make our look easy. Wonderful experience. Casual dining. Comfy booths.
Wonderful service! All the dishes are really good! They also cater to vegetarians and vegans.
Ribs had good flavor and a good amount of meat. My mom's glass noodles were so delicious and flavored nicely. I loved the peanut sauce. The outside of the building doesn't look promising but inside is nice.
We live just down the street, so we eat here quite often. Their food is tasty and consistent. I personally love their Pad Keep Mao and get it with no meat or tofu, but instead get extra veggies. It is delicious and on point. The atmosphere is okay, although sometimes loud. They have a sushi bar, which is a nice and surprising option for a Thai restaurant, and the sushi is decent. However, with some killer sushi restaurants in Portland, I wouldn't recommend coming here just for sushi.
Stellar Thai food. Fair prices.
The must have dish... Fried Duck Curry. Best in the city, hands down.
The food is very good. The staff is very attentive, and they were accommodating to our group with several children.
VERY yummy
We love this place. Really excellent food and service.
Great food well presented for reasonable price.
