I ordered the Thai Basil, Crab Puffs, and spring rolls. They came with the sweet and sour sauce that's homemade. Everything was outstanding. I spent 5 weeks in Thailand last year and this food is right on par and it's fresh, has great flavor, and it is a large person so you definitely get your money's worth.

It’s like a permanent food truck, there is no indoor seating, though there is a picnic table on the side, so it’s great if you’re looking to grab and go. I had the pad Thai with chicken and my boyfriend had the pad kee mow and both were fantastic and our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. They are closed on Sundays.

Food is delicious! Made fresh. We had the pad thai, pad cadhew, and mixed veggie pad all with chicken. The sauces were fantastic and generous portions. Saving half for lunch because I was full. A true food truck so don't expect a restaurant experience but we would go back for sure if we lived in the area.

HIDDEN GEM - Do NOT judge this place by its size, this is some of the best Thai food in the city, with great portions at an insanely reasonable price. This is, no joke, the best pad thai I have ever had. Try it and tell me I'm wrong

It's a food truck so no atmosphere but the food is amazing. I went for lunch with coworkers and we ate at the one picnic table outside. The Thai ice tea was 2-3 times the typical size of one as well.

Ordered: Chicken Pad Thai Chicken and Chicken Pineapple Curry

Pros: Both dishes were rich and very flavorful. They definitely didn't skimp on the seasoning, spice included. I will definitely be getting more food from them again. I'm excited to try the fried rice. Also, the price was pretty cheap for walk-up service.

Cons: Minor gripe, but the rice for the curry was undercooked and a bit crunchy still. Also, they only take Cash, Venmo, or CashApp so come prepared to not use your card/Gpay/Apple pay.

Edit: it looks like they accept cards now.

Why sell a great place like this short? The bar next store lets you wait in there and eat your food there too.

This is a gem of a spot and so easy to order from when you work nearby etc. Call ahead and venmo when you get there so you don’t waste your work break! I find myself stopping by and saying hi when I can, she is always so nice and friendly. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here, and love their Thai tea!

I had the cashew chicken and it was my favorite. I've tried this dish at different Tai restaurants from Michigan to Washington and this little trailer type venue was hands down the best one. Huge portion size, and not the rice, that was the usual cup size or so, it was all the chicken cashew shoots and veggies, great flavor, didn't really like that it was sectioned by sticking all the chicken and veggies and sauce inside but they use paper trays so I get it..

Call ahead as sometimes they are out of some ingredients. Also the online menu has a few discontinued items. Very fresh food with excellent flavor. Also super nice! There’s a little counter you can eat at so you only have to carry leftovers home. You want the papaya salad, anything with peanut sauce and the lemon grass soup.

Nice folks. I don’t know why all the great reviews. I had fried rice. It was so oily. It was pooling in the bottom of the container. Also, so sweet too sweet you could taste the sugar. And the shrimp didn’t feel in my mouth like they were fully cooked so I stopped after eating two of them. Taste is great. Nice people. But I don’t think I’ll be back. Sorry.

No matter what I order, the food is wonderful. Generous portions… leftovers for me. Owner is very accommodating with adding or subtracting ingredients. This will be my go to Thai restaurant when I have visitors to Portland.

This place is incredible. There are so many Thai places that I've tried, but I have to say that this one takes the cake.

It's just a little cart right on the side of MLK, but that adds to the allure, really, because this little place packs a BIG punch.

The workers there are always super friendly and provide great customer service. They get the food out quickly, and have a smile on their face while doing so.

The main draw for this place, though, is the food. It is so darn tasty. The sauces are always on point and incredibly flavorful, and there is a good balance between amounts of rice/noodle, veggie, and meat/tofu. Speaking of tofu, this is truly the finest tofu I've had at a Thai place here.

And maybe the best part of all, the portions are GIGANTIC. I mean, you're basically getting two meals for the price of one! I always have leftovers for the next day, which is incredible.

Please check this place out. There are a lot of Thai places in pdx, but I'll cut to the chase and tell you that this is the one.

This is my favorite food place ever. They are so kind and the food is absolutely amazing. I’m a regular and they always recognize me and we chat and it’s lovely. I really recommend the #3 with tofu!! And get the peanut sauce it’s so worth it. Really truly delicious and well prepared food.

Thai MLK is not only one of the best Thai spots in Portland (and there is competition for sure) but the owner and head chef is a master of their craft and an angel. Personally, I am grateful that businesses like this are able to exist in this economy–support this business; talk to the owner–she is wonderful and seriously makes the best salad rolls in the Pacific NW (in fact, they taught me how to do it myself) and I've *been around*–there isn't a salad roll in town that I don't know about.
I can't recommend this spot highly enough–the food is incredible, the peopole are amazing and lovely, and they work harder than you ever have in your entire life (myself included).
If you try the "fresh rolls" or the "som tum salad" or the "eggplant basil" or pad kee mao and have a problem, I will fight you and somebody's gonna go.

I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food all over Portland and other cities. This is hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. My go to dishes are pad Thai, pad see ew, and green curry. I was blown away by how authentic and delicious the curry was. The wings are absolutely delicious too. It’s so good that I’m going to slowly go through their entire menu. It’s that good. Everyone I know who has eaten here agrees. Join the party and give them a try. You won’t regret it!

Did the chicken satay and green curry with tofu and shrimp. It was very well flavored. Well balanced flavor. My only issue is I wish they put more veggies in the curry. But the portions are on point. I fed myself and my partner andy son with the meal. Also it only cost 20$ somehow and with a tip I fed three for 26$

GREAT!! Fresh tasting, and such friendly people! Only about 2 months on MLK replacing the pizza cart. The CURRY PUFFS were very good, home made recipe, never had those before or seen them, sort of like an Asian empanada. Papaya Salad was very tasty and fresh tasting. We have been ordering from this little food cart a lot recently because their food is so darn good! So far we have tried their pad thai, pad see ew, pad kee mao, larb, angel wings, spring rolls, fresh rolls, their special curry puffs, and mango sticky rice. All were delicious! Their portions are also huge and prices are very reasonable. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
