Food was delicious!!! Portion sizes were pretty good to the point of me having 2 meals off one serving of something. The spicy rating is reasonable and a 2.5/3 was a good flavorful spice. Potstickers were good and chicken wings were fried amazingly! You have to go to the counter to order, which can make holding your table a struggle but we just went up to order individually. We got there when it was pretty empty and by the time we were leaving the place was busy for sure.
So many great Thai restaurants in Portland. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.
Wide rice noodles aren’t wide. Pad See Ew is dry and the sauce that comes with the potstickers is bitter. Even the Thai Iced Tea was tart in an unpleasant way. Great location, great service, food needs some attention.
Was next door doing Orientation for a local company and was referred here, glad I came in. Picked up some Tom Ka Soup, super delicious, full bodied, lots of flavor and I ordered it with chicken.
Ambiance was great the young person who helped me was fabulous, I will definitely refer this place to people in the future. Thank you Management and staff. My soup was the bomb, thanks again.
i went in for my first time ever an hour ago (1:30amish, 11/25/24) after discovering they could satiate my late night fresh shrimp spring roll cravings.
They did NOT dissappoint! such welcoming service, so efficient, and the vibes felt like home! i was also thrilled and happy to see other people showing up to pickup late night grub.
as for the shrimp spring rolls i got, the veggies were DEFINITELY fresh and had that lovely crispy crunch (a good mix of bean sprouts and lettuce and carrots too!) and the-in-house peanut dipping sauce is LOVELY and does not overpower the meal. definitely one of the best fresh spring rolls ive had in town thus far :-)
the server who helped me was so sweet, and it was really cool to see them interacting with the late night dine-in guests on a personable level.
will definitely be coming back again, i cannot reccomend this place enough! (and i've only popped in once so far!)
Amazing food, service, and prices!
I order chicken pad Thai for delivery. Pad Thai was bland and flavorless. The following day I got food poisoning.
Distraught
I ordered 2x Mango Sticky Rice via DoorDash
I only received stale old rice . (I know what sticky rice is)
No mango No coconut cream No sesame seeds etc
Heartbreaking when your craving it
Won’t purchase from this place again
10/10 My favorite place in town. They’re open until 4am and I work super late. Highly recommend the Pad See Ew and Potstickers.
Really bad food. Worst Thai I've had.
Great food awesome atmosphere
Great late night spot. Food was good and the waiter was super nice!
Great spot the customers were being unruly and unfair even though it was late yet the server was very accommodating!
Nice late night restaurant serving Lao and Thai food... not just take out, but dine-in as well. Food is pretty good and the price is inline with similar restaurants. Where else can you get your Asian fix after midnight?

Love this place. Fresh, delicious and great if you need gluten free options!
Had this delivered and it took them 95min to get an order of 4 egg rolls to me. When they finally arrived, I laughed. What I got was egg rolls that were 2” long, they looked like fried pig n a blanket but without the deliciousness! The filling was slimy and smelled, the outside oily and dark. Not good at all, save your money!

I waited over hour for my order but the Panang Curry was AMAZING surprisingly worth the wait!!!
Great food , great hours, friendly atmosphere!
friendly service and very low prices for the neighborhood. The pad see ew was awesome as was the red curry.
Open till late night, decent footfall too. Food is tasty. You go in directly to the counter, place your order and sit at any place. The chicken satay especially was one of the best I had.
Waited 45min for 1 dish and it was oil and grease. Only 1 other person inside reastaurant.
Ordered 45 minutes in advance, got there and waited 15min. Checked in again, told 10min. Waited 10min checked in again was told 10min again. 17min after that food came out. Onlyn2 tables with 2 people each eating entire time. No apologies & no explanation. And it was for 1 bbq pork fried rice! Not acceptable at all
I didn't know Thai food could be this bland. :\
Great spot! they are open till 4am
Ordered Pad Thai with chicken on Uber eats, got a brick of rice noodles and 4 flakes of chicken. Truly a crime against humanity.
So many great Thai restaurants in Portland. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.

Has been one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Portland for years
The noodles in the pad thai are pasty and the main seasoning and flavor of the fried rice seems to be pepper. The cheese wontons are mostly leathery wrapping.
Genuinely, one of the most accommodating restaurants I’ve ever been to. Absolutely delicious Thai food that can be served at 2 in the morning! Great balance of spice and savor in every dish that I tried, and they have wonderful staff!
Ordered on door dash, and they only sent half of the order!
What I got was over priced pad thai. Barely sauced. Only chicken and slice of lime. No veggies at all. Mediocre. Won't re order
food was excellent. generous portions. will be stopping in more often.
SAM is a stand up guy!! Such a genuine, honest, kind person. My friend had a crisis outside of Sunee and left their phone sitting outside. Sam kept and eye on my friend and secured the phone for them when it was left behind. Finding a lost phone in Portland is basically unheard of. So thankful for this kind soul for looking out for my friend. Thank you so much, Sam! <3
Stir-fry only had 2 kinds of vegetables in it, and the sauce was just brown sugar and soy sauce. Super bland and no spice whatsoever. Pad thai had no veggies, just noodles. It was OK but pretty boring.
Very delicious food, but really weird service! We waited for 15 mins to get our waters, and then 15 mins to order our food and then another 30 mins for the food to get there type of service and then another 15 mins just to get to-go box after asking twice (once before the bill and then a second request after paying and stupidly giving an 18% tip). It kinda makes sense for a busy, busy Friday night loud restaurant, but this was just to be annoying since there were only 3 people seated in the entire restaurant. The waitress was also pretty nosy (eves-drops, then asks you about your business but already kind of knows the answer because they were already listening to your private conversation), a bit of a fake and a liar; just an overall strange experience but great food there!
this place is pretty good, i always get the yellow curry however honestly when ever i get it the potatoes are huge and they really are not cooked all the way i could barely bite through them. idk who is back there cooking but maybe should mention that to them because i saw another review that said the same thing. other than that pretty good.
Hidden gem. The noods are going to be so great later for second dinner. Veggies tasted fresh and i love a water chestnut.
I live in hood river and the company I work for in Portland orders food from them for our staff meetings. I pretty much have lunch here everyday so I call my order in advance prior to my lunch and is always ready by the time I get there. Very affordable. The food is simply delicious curries are my must haves no matter what Thai restaurant I go to. This is the only place I know so far where I have had pumpkin curry. I have also ordered their pretty much everything in their menu that comes with noodles. I don’t eat seafood so I cannot make any comments on that, the place is always extremely clean, smells good and welcoming.
Sadly I read some negative reviews about this place such as the lady complaining about waiting time. restaurant food is cook to order no in batches so as with any restaurant is best to plan ahead , that’s why some require reservations.
I feel that I need to comment on this one :
Comment read :
Weird smell on her food. As a connoisseur of international gastronomy Indian , Thai African, central and Latin American cuisines among others I can respectfully say that perhaps her deprived palate doesn’t know about the richness of fish sauce, shrimp paste , oyster sauce , staple ingredients in Asian cuisine.
I feel that most people that leave negative comments for restaurant’s is either because they are unfamiliarized with the food and don’t know what to order or forget that food varies depending in region.
My recommendation is ask and be mindful that each country uses unique spices , sauces and other ingredients that you might not be accustomed to , Food is culture be respectful and if you are not up to trying new flavors you might want to stick to those you do know.
Pad Thai was absolutely horrible. Waited a whole hour only for dry noodles with a weird smell.
The food was delicious an our sever was amazing.
I ordered Pad Thai from Uber Eats. It needed more sauce. Won't be doing that again.
Sequoia was a great server, so sweet and attentive! The food was very good and filling, and had a good variety for everyone.
Ordered a curry from here that had a giant potato cut into six pieces in it, with very few other vegetables / meat included (I'm sure because the potato took up so much space). Taking out the large potato pieces, still crunchy / flavorless due to their size, basically halved the curry amount. The curry itself was just okay. Disappointing as usually Portland Thai food is hard to beat.
So glad you guys said you were open on Christmas till 9:30. I literally worked all day, my car had a dead battery so I had to call someone to come get a jump because no one was nice enough simply stop and help me even though it was christmas, and I was just looking forward to that food at the end of the day and then when I got there you were closed. It's already kind of a rip off because you only get about half the serving size that you would at a regular Thai restaurant especially when you're just ordering noodles for $10 but I couldn't even get that at the end of a long day so I'm actually pretty pissed cuz that's all I had going for my stupid Christmas. Last time I ordered from there and I got my food I was like where is the other container with the rest of my food? But no that was it . Normally I wouldn't have even bothered if it wasn't the only place that said it was open . Not sure why you wouldn't change your hours and say you were open on Christmas but that basically ruined my day cuz it was the only thing I had to look forward to because my life sucks. Thank you guys. I included a photo of what I have to eat now.
The posted hours are not correct. They are open for only pickup and carry out after 10pm. My wife and I stood outside at 10:15pm tonight feeling pretty damn dumb about our choice to plan dinner here after a show at Rev Hall.
The staff are engaging and amazing, wonderful food and very good prices.. A weekly routine kind of rating
Went here on a Sunday evening and we were the only ones there. Service was good. Decent ambiance, nothing special. We ordered the spicy fried rice and pad kee mao. Rice was a little dry. Pad kee mao was delicious. Very generous portion sizes. A decent place overall.
Way below the expected quality. The pad Thai seems to be simply reheated. There is gathered fat under the bottom noodles that weren’t reheated properly. The cream cheese puffs had about a smear of cream cheese and are hard to bite through as though they were refried and not made to order. Very disappointing.
The food was overpriced and well my food was bad when i complained they said to bad and hungup the phone and blocked me thats a bad sign .it was my birthday and i expected better fir the $19 i paid for tom yum it was not good i couldnt eat it .
very long wait, I don't recommend having to wait 30 minutes
When it comes to taste and quality of food, its sadly underwhelming.
The curry was too spicy (we ordered mild) and very salty. so much so, there was no taste to it. Vegetables where thrown in curry from a bag or something, half cooked, not simmered in the sauce.
Noodles where dry and lacking flavor.
Tai tea was just an intensely sweet colored water. Seriously... you need to step up and actually start cooking.
Pad see wee is delicious.
Had Pad Kee Mao with beef. Food was pretty good (meat was a little tough and larger than a comfortable bite size). Like the heat level (3). Loved the noodles. Okay amount of vegetables. Bell peppers still had crunch. Liked the spice level, too.
Good service - attentive without being intrusive.
AmazIng food. We will be back!
A whole lot of bait and switch. It wasn't bad enough that the coupon that I had was only valid for groups of 2 or more, but when I went to get my money refunded, it said thw coupon was no longer even valid, and I would have to trade in my purchase for promotional credits.
Way worse than it used to be. I used to love them and they were reliable. The curry was watery and unseasoned. Really bad. I'll try again and hope for the best.
We ordered delivery to our hotel. We had salad rolls, chicken wings, potstickers, tom kha, and green curry shrimp. It was all hot, delicious, and the perfect spice level. Great flavors. The best green curry I’ve had in a long time.
It was all super delicious. So glad we gave it a try!
The pineapple fried rice is going to be a regular comfort food of mine going forward. Super friendly waitstaff
Great little spot!
Our favorite go to thai place for dine in and take out. Large portions, great food, and always great service. Also open late in to the night with easy ordering and pick up!
Really good Thai food. The salad rolls were huge and super good. Pad see ew was also really yummy. Highly recommend!
The best!! Ella is fantastic at what she does! Food is beautiful and scrumptious!!
Ordered delivery to my hotel and the food was surprisingly really really good. The chicken pad Thai I had was super delicious and saucy. ( that’s rare ) I also ordered a bunch of side orders and they didn’t disappoint. For fast THAI food this is a good spot.
Good food and good people. They even gave me some Pad Thai while I was was waiting on a to-go order. I will definitely recommend it and be back again.
This has become my go to spot for late night food. As a night uber driver, it's so hard to find food that isn't fast food. Once I found out Sunee is open until 4am, I was sold. Then I had their food and found out how delicious and fresh it is, it's been my weekly spot to get late night dinner. It's also in a location I feel very safe to get out of my car, and even sit down and have a few bites on their picnic benches.
Very nice clean pleasant atmosphere. Fresh flowers nice touch! Service great attentive and friendly. Food was good with nice presentation. Convenient for the show crowd at Revolution Hall across the street. Will return
It is my second time ordering catering for work and everyone loves it! Homemade, tasty and beautifully presented!
Came for Door Dash pick up at 23:20 there a sign to check in on the side I was knocking for 10 min in that door. Nobody was there for couple more minutes. And the. They arrived 👎👎👎👎
I honestly really liked this restaurant but after my late night experience here I don’t think I will return..
I placed an around about 1:30am - I live right around the corner from this establishment so after about 25 minutes of my order not being confirmed ready, I decided to show up and see what was up.
It was about 2AM and there were a group of people waiting, no big deal - One of the employees asked my name for my order and told me right away they never received it. But my order was accepted and said it was “being prepared as we speak”
for at least 2 hours.. the employee told me I need to cancel the order in the app and replace it again so they could make it. But I was already charged for the first order and couldn’t receive any refund until the restaurant approves the refund themselves but kept stating they couldn’t find the order and never received a payment. I had contacted yelp and told me there was nothing they could do until the restaurant approved the refund themselves.
Not to mention everybody working here was under the influence.. The owner was passed out in the driver seat of his own vehicle.. The main cook kept going on about how drunk he was .. just the whole thing made me so uncomfortable..
My order is still currently pending and “being prepared as we speak.”
It’s almost 4am - I obviously don’t want my food anymore :( I just want my money back..
I’m broke and just wanted some food..
Ate there last night. It was fantastic and extremely good pricing. Everything on the menu looked amazing. If you are looking for something very flavorful, cheaper and healthier than a gastro pub burger, this is it!!!
We tried to place an order around 1245 am and had a bit of a hard time ordering online. Depending on which app or service it would say it's closed. We were parked next to it so we knew they were serving people at their pick up window. I finally managed to make an order through Google's service. I got a confirmation email but the order was in pending mode forever. Finally we decided to go to the window to see and they didn't get it til right when we asked.
They were great, apologized and gave us a free can of Thai Tea and two shrimp rolls. It was very nice of them. We waited for our food in the car as we ate our free appetizes and went to my friend's place to eat.
I got yellow curry and although it tasted delicious I was disappointed in two things. The first is the potato. They were cut so huge that they weren't really cooked enough. They were bulky and hard. Please cut them smaller if youre not going to pre cook them? My second issue is that I don't think they have regular thai sticky rice for the curry. Only dessert, the mango sticky rice. So I got what I think was really cheap short grain or a bland jasmine. It doesn't go as well as Thai Sticky Rice and the quality of the rice is poor. That probably doesn't bother most people but the potato is a bit annoying.
Overall, I would still go again. They were nice and the flavor was good. We love the convenience of the late hours for yummy food. We were evening and night shifters. Thank you!!!
Ordered pad Thai and Tom kha soup. Food had a beautiful presentation. Everything was delicious. The staff was checking often. Reasonable price
Pumpkin curry was amazing 👏
Ordered takeout. Pad Thai and pad kee mao. No seasoning. Didn’t seem like they even salted the meat. Bizarre
It would be amazing if they wouldn’t put shellfish into a dish I absolutely asked for tofu in. This would be a longer tirade but I have to go to the ER before my throat closes up.
I ordered one of the curries and is now one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town!
Food was amazing the wait staff were kind, attentive and fast. 10/10 will come again.
GOT FOOD POISONING!! I was at work when i ordered food thru doordash from here. I had the beef panang curry. 2 hours later my stomach was cramping and went to the bathroom about 3 times. Next thing I know I get fever and chills! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
Their curry was marginally okay. But the waiter was horrible.
Quaint and tasty! Loved the catfish special.
Purposely raised the delivery fee without notifying me sooner. I was waiting way over a hour to order food i would of went elsewhere.
That's pretty messed up.
I ordered lunch catering for 10 people, some with dietary constraints (gluten free, vegan) on a limited budget. Sunee Thai and Lao Kitchen was able to meet those requirements, and everyone left the lunch table with full bellies and happy faces. Payment and delivery was efficient and easy. Communication with Sam was excellent.
Best curry here. I love it every time
Was next door doing Orientation for a local company and was referred here, glad I came in.
Cute friendly place!
The best customer service and the food is great! The manager is super accommodating and nice -- highly recommend!
Amazing service and thoughtfulness. Showed up with a huge group of over 50 people and they offered to close business to serve us. Yummy food, friendly staff, the best of the best.
Best service ever! If you want to feel welcome and enjoy some delicious authentic Thai food this is the spot for you.
The staff saved our reunion by allowing our big group to come in without a reservation and having such a great attitude. They kept the food and drinks coming quickly, they were friendly and efficient and they were able to keep all of our tabs straight. The food was flavorful, hot, and brought out promptly. Overall, they did an amazing job.
So I was looking 4 any Thai food spot that would be open at 11 p.m. on a wens. night....this place said it was opened but when I got here....it was closed! :-(
There's a reason why they close their doors when they're making food, will never go here again
Excellent food and WONDERFUL SERVICE! Thank you SOOOOO much!
David made our dining experience SO fun! He was charming, he told dad jokes, and he was a very attentive server. When you go, make sure David is working, and tip him BIG!
Oh, also the food was great ;)
One of my favorite Thai spots in Portland. Everything I have ever ordered has been delicious and everyone who works there is friendly. Super affordable as well. Their spice level 4 and 5 slap!
Excellent food and service! Especially from the person with blonde hair, can’t remember their name.
I ordered delivery online, selected delivery, provided delivery address etc., and when I got my order confirmation it said pick up. I immediately called every number I could find listed for them and called multiple times even from different phones but no one answered and the voicemail was full. Felt scammed. Eventually they got back to me 40 min later telling me to pick up my food, told them I couldn’t do that and they said they were still charging me but would take 10 dollars off since they didn’t answer my many calls to fix the order. Then they charged me full price. I definitely got scammed. Eat somewhere else.
I really love this place. I order the same thing everytime ( yellow curry & cream cheese puffs) and it tastes the same every time. I can't express how much I appreciate that, I have weird eating habits and having something that's consistently the way I like and remember is 10/10. Being so particular, I HATE cooked carrots and will not eat my food if there's carrots in there 🤣 I order the yellow curry with a note saying please no carrots and they ALWAYS check the note and made sure to add the carrots.
I called after placing my order today, I didn't see the "no carrots" note on the receipt so wanted to make sure I put it down and the woman on the phone was so sweet and kind. It's wild that you can show so much sweetness in your voice in a 30second conversation but she was not at all annoyed with me for calling-- said the note did print but she'll make sure it's extra yummy for me. I'm really sick right now and the only thing I want is this curry-- I don't have much of a voice and speaking has been challenging so I'm assuming she could pick up on the fact that I'm unwell. And being so sick I haven't had much human interaction in a while so it was just really nice, a covid human experience haha. I think this is a great person to keep in your business-- to be able to read a situation quickly and respond in an empathetic way is not a quality all people possess and it's really valuable! It's hard to explain but she went out of her way to show care In the way she handled my short call and it was noticed and appreciated.
In going through my past orders, I've had it perfectly (for me) 19/20 times. The only time it wasn't my favorite was b/c it was too spicy but I'm sure it would have been perfect for someone else. Consistency is everything for me and I'll be a customer for a long time! Thank you so much! I appreciate y'all!
It was our first time there and we will be back! Our waiter, David was so fun and attentive. The food is delicious and healthy. Yummmmmm
Ordered the tofu pad Thai, it was sexy! When I refer to something sexy, it means it was phenomenal! Very delicious food and the people there are very nice and helpful. 🥰❤
Paid 50 bucks got very little food only gave me 4 egg rolls and charged me 10 bucks for em same with the pot stickers and a little dish of stir fry that was the same size as a tv dinner. Definitely unimpressed and not gonna go back. Check your food make sure you get the quantity that matches the bill cuz they do have good but they don't have 5 star good food to justify the 5 star prices.
Very tasty, big portions, remarkably affordable for this part of town. Good service. And the spicy options are actually spicy, not Portland Spicy!
Hire coherent, non-creepy employees and you'll see results. Not sure why, but the female person you had man the checkout is cancer to your business. Aside from observing her touch and harass customers asking us to lower our masks (no need), she actually asked me out and start asking me 'where I was headed tonight. ' Lost all respect for the people who run this place, or desire to dine here based off the 🤮 service.
Had the Pad Thai and a cup of Thom Yum, which was enough for 2 meals. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, warm service, and for a much better price point than most other Thai places. Great place to eat affordable SE Asian food for reasonable prices
We visited on a rainy Saturday night around 7:30. One other couple was finishing their dinner when we arrived, and after that no other visitors, and only a few takeout customers. Well, now I know why. We ordered tom yum soup, a curry, and a chicken dish special. Nothing was awful, but all of it was mediocre/below average: the soup had little flavor, the chicken was like frozen Sysco thrown in the fryer with a pungent, too sweet sauce, the fish was overcooked. Even the tea was cold. Two teenage boys were running the place. Nice kids, but they had had no training in basic restaurant service other than running the register. I won't be back.
We had an excellent visit! After the other patrons left, Cami, our waitress, turned on karaoke and our girl and our friend’s kids danced with her and sang songs. The food was amazing! The eggplant options, papaya salad, pad kee mao, pineapple fried rice, salad rolls, and several other items we tried were full of flavor! Highly recommend this place! Great friendly staff and the cook was great too!
Veggie Pad Thai was disappointing
Delicious green curry, very reasonable prices, good service, clean restaurant.
my favorite thing here is the yellow curry w chicken, and their egg rolls are soooo yummy too. ooo and also their wontons, and their wings!! you won’t be disappointed and you’ll def wanna come back and try new things.
Hidden authentic Delicious food. Much appreciated in person.
I ordered the red curry. It was lovely with fresh veggies and lots of shrimps
Killer Duck Curry. Hot and fresh, very tender. Definitely will eat again.
tasty and open late
Got the pineapple noodles, the wings, and the duck curry. Maybe we got food on an off night but that was some of the worst thai food I’ve ever had. The service was a little awkward too. The whole meal cost about $50 including tip which felt like a kick in the pants. Anyway i wouldn’t recommend this place to say the least.
pad-thai and egg rolls is the way to go!
For ordering 1am delivery this was really surprisingly good. The green curry had great flavor, and the bamboo shoots werent gross canned like most places, and the green curry had great green chili flavor, the paste tasted like it was made in house. The pad kee mao survived delivery and was excellent. Way, way better than portland average. I ordered extra hot, and while it was spicy with good flavor, maybe order one higher than usual, they seem to be conservative on the spice with delivery (understandably).
looking for the best Thai? here it is ! haha
Really good thai
Absolutely the best thai in the city no joke
ChowNow claims your food will be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. It took this restaurant 70 minutes to make my food. Never again.
Foods are great. Fresh rolls are especially always fresh , I just have not have a bad experience here ever, would definitely recommend
It was amazing it was recommended to me during my time here and it will be my guaranteed stop every time here now. Everything's amazing even the service
I've been waiting for my order for TWO HOURS. No answer when I call and I stood outside for almost an hour. Not even a courtesy call or notice to say they're simply not coming. I'm starving after a horrible day at work. I can't believe this place let me put an order in, knowing they weren't coming. I will be telling everyone I know about this awful experience b
So, we had a huge debaucle with our order that was in no way the fault of the restaurant. We ended up with food from a different restaurant because the delivery guy wasn't paying attention. When we went to Sunee's to return the food (not knowing at the time that it was pho delivered by mistake), Sunee's took care of us. Even though it had been overnight since the food was mixed up, the extremely helpful woman working, called the owner, who had our original order cooked up. I love that, and they even gave us free thai iced tea for all the trouble. I will drive all the way to stark from gladstone for Thai food from now on. Show Sunee Thai and Lao Kitchen some love! Their pineapples noodles are divine! And so is their customer service!
Delicious food and a great staff.
Their website allowed me to order despite the fact they were no longer accepting deliveries. I then had to call six times to get through to an employee, only to be hung up on.
Pot stickers, BBQPork fried rice and chicken satay all very solid
Ewww I'd recommend staving before eating here.
Tammy was great! Food was great! We will be back.
Best pad see ew in Portland! Honestly one of the best I’ve had outside of Thailand! How does this place only have 4.1?!
I just placed a delivery order for over $40 and it has now been 45 minutes and the restaurant still has not confirmed or started my order. Called them many times and no one is picking up. Please refund my order.
Yummm
Loved the Pad Thai!!!
I have tried so many Pad Thai from various places and Sunee's Thai and Lao Kitchen is the BEST
Tried quite a few Thai restaurants in our new neighborhood, and Sunee’s definitely takes the cake!
I live in a secured building and can let deliveries in via the call box. The call box number is not the same as my apartment number, which is clearly listed as the delivery address. The driver who works for the restaurant, got Grubhub, attempted delivery at the number you disk on the call box, not my apartment number. The driver sent me a text asking to confirm my apartment number but that number would not receive any replies, so I could not confirm. The driver then left and the restaurant cancelled my order and refund me. I'm glad for the refund but surprised that the driver didn't check the delivery address before leaving. Highly dissatisfied and will not eat here again.
The curry is super amazing and the hours are convenient.
Salad rolls, perfect! Small portion of rice that had the dried out rice on the outside like it was sitting for too long. The red curry flavor was nice the sauce is liquid like soup. Need more veggies in the veggie style. Overall I’m super glad I tried the salad rolls!
Great food--very nice people!
Their customer service has never been good, though the food has been good! I bought a groupon this time, and when I called, they said they would not honor it, that groupon had made a mistake. I was very disappointed at this lack of integrity. They should at least apologize - and note it on their ordering page. Perhaps give a discount to the injured party, something! I hope they fix this problem!
I've been here 3 times and no matter what the Panang curry is delicious, but thats about it. The orange chicken has at bunch of water at the bottom of the bowl, instead of more orange sauce there was water which took away from the flavor. But maybe when covid is over and you can dine in it'll be worth it. I bet its better than getting take-out the food was just soggy
Best Tom Kha in Portland!!!!
Just ordered delivery tonight from them, the food was delicious. I ordered the yellow curry and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. I will say I ordered medium spice and it felt more mild to me than that, so I think I’ll order hot next time.
The spring rolls were very good and the peanut sauce is super yummy I really loved that. I will order from here again.
I find it funny how this review wont allow me to post pictures. I'll post them on youtube then.
Do not recommend this to anyone with kids... I've ordered from this restaurant multiple times and every single time it comes out wrong.. and to my surprise, nothing can be done..
They cook your food the way they please, not how you ordered it.
Soggy rice, over seasoned and if you look at my receipt, it says pork as the protein and yet again I get a different item.... I'm started to realize why some ask if the servers can read properly since nothing has ever come out right for me... I spend roughly 50 to close to 100 on food for my kids, and this is how back business appreciates their customers.. this place does not have your best interests, rather they just want your money.
Best Green Curry and Tom Kha we have ever had.
I just ordered food and the rice showed up completely burnt! It was inedible I’m sorry but In this pandemic where restaurants are having to close down, you providing people with food they cannot even eat and wasting my money you should be shut down next! Not happy.
I ordered on door dash, and only after my delivery window had long passed did I find out that this place canceled the order for no reason and did not even attempt to contact me. At least message me that you’re canceling the order... Even if you have to make up a reason.
Good stuff
I love this place. Always so quick in getting my pick up orders. The gal who I always see in there during lunch time is so friendly and goes above and beyond for her tables. The folks at evening time, when I tend to get orders to go, are also always friendly. A little weirded out about their laser lights they have going, but its something different and it isn't distracting...it's just different. I have only had one bad meal there and only one time where the Thai Iced Tea had gone bad. Other than that its 5 stars every time. Amazing Tom Kha Soup and the best Pineapple Fried Rice.
Our server was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Food was excellent!
Best late night takeout in SE, and my favorite Pad Thai in the city. Portions are hefty, and the spice is powerful. Sam is amazing, and it never fails to amuse watching him pop up out of the door Wizard of Oz style.
Love their food! Prices are alittle high and portions smaller, but the flavor is there consistently!
First experience here, it’s OK. I had cashew chicken which is not a Thai normal for me, at all, but the reviews of this place had me wanting to play it uber safe. I found the sauce to be very sweet, but it was by no means bad or inedible. I’d really like to rate this place 3 and a half, but the lack of late night dining in Portland makes me feel generous enough to give them an extra half star. Plus, I’m highly amused by the back alley door, speakeasy-ish pickup of late night orders. If I were still a drinker, I can absolutely visualize me drunk at 3am, thinking that was the greatest food I’d ever eaten in my life. And it was ok. I’m curious to try their curries because I haven’t been impressed by anywhere in Portland yet and one consistency I do see amongst the reviews - that the people that order curry seem to love it. So, I’ll see you again, Sunee!
Service was great, food was delicious and came out pretty fast! 👌🏽👌🏽
Friendly neighborhood Thai and Lao joint. I really like the relaxed atmosphere. Quick service for dine in or take out. Food is tasty and they are able to make most dishes vegan upon request if you're into that. I like to order a big thing of their thom kha soup when I'm sick.
Not open past 2:30am on weekends...
