Hands Down the Best Tom Yum soup in portland. She loads it up with all the veggies, so hearty and delicious! Get a side of rice and add a few scoops right into the soup if ur really hungry. Great for cold nights and hungover afternoons.
Great Thai food truck. Great portions for the price. 4 stars because I was hoping things would be a bit more flavorful. I had to add sauces but it was still tasty. The spring rolls were fantastic. Going to go back sometime and try something some of the recommendations on here
I want to say howwwww delicious everything I ordered was. I ordered the green curry cuz that how I judge a Thai place on my liking not every place can make a good green curry and it was beyond delicious. Haven’t had green curry that tasted that good in a long time. My friend got the yellow chicken curry he was pleased. And we shared a chicken pad thai and coconut shrimp. Both were delicious the sauce from the coconut shrimp wasn’t that good but it was definitely edible. I just wanna say it’s a MUSTTTTT.
Food cart experience so atmosphere was the outdoors. Ordered beef Pad Saw EW, yakisoba chicken noodles, orange chicken and crab fried rice. Everything tasted so fishy, and the crab fried rice was super fishy / crabby (didn't smell good) yakisoba noodles were flavorless (we had to add some of our own sauce to them when we got home). Orange chicken was soggy (we did sample before we got home to try it at its "freshest" since it was a fried option) the Pad Saw Ew was the only somewhat ok item (but again, had a fishy taste) sadly I was not impressed with the entrees and don't see a return to this food cart. Portions were kinda ok but compared to other food carts it was on the more pricey side (maybe cause of location) Each item is charged higher than it shows on the menu too maybe they need to update the menu - example Pad Saw ew was showing $13.00 but was charged $16 (basically each item we ordered showed $13 but was charged $16) We ordered in person and not online platform (which I kmow those have a mark up associated) Parking in this area can also be tricky as it's street parking but very congested
It’s a food cart but good food indeed! If you like Thai, they have many options. The chicken wings are delicious and the pad Thai is decent. Good portions and pricing. I have been several times and never disappointed
Lovely experience start to finish. Wonderful woman who works here. Delicious food. She called me back to check on my order. Loved the ginger stir fry and orange chicken, shrimp. It was all so yummy. Very flavorful sauces. She saw we were feeding littles and was just emanating joy and connected with us and brought us warm water to wash up. Over the top great experience. Give this food truck a try! Thank you so much! ❤️
Food truck, so atmosphere is the street. Service was fast and friendly. Curry was completely flavorless. Portions are small for the price relative to other thai carts. Disappointing.
Closed when said open. Drove a long ways to try it.

Food tasted moldy
Pad Thai was fire
Chicken satay is unbelievably delicious very authentic

As of Tuesday, 8/22/23, they are not at the location on Google Maps. Does anyone know where they have gone?

Some of the best Thai food in Portland, super nice staff who care about getting it right
Tried the pad Thai, pad see ew, and spring rolls. The spring rolls were ok but otherwise the food was dull and lacked any flavor. Zero spice to anything. Surprised this place is rated so highly.
worst thai food I have ever tasted. Curry is watery n lack taste n too sweet. Lamb salad is made w chicken n.not lamb . Cheating. Sleeping prawns are hard n tasteless. The sweet chis sauce is again water down.
Didn't try it lady was rude on the phone
The family and I were visiting town and found this wonderful place. The fried tofu is ridiculously delicious! The value for the portions and taste were simply amazing. If I lived here this would be a place I’d eat at weekly it’s truly delicious!
Unfortunately quite dull and flavorless. Hoping it was just an off-day, but plenty of better Thai options in Portland.

The food is delicious and flavorful! Very authentic. The staff/owner is really nice and friendly. They’re pleasant and approachable. The place isn’t that big but the food makes up for it! It’s so worth it!
Delicious food and fast, friendly service!
This is a pleasant surprise! Nailed it every time.
I order a salt and pepper shrimp and I received something more like shrimp tempura breaded. There no salt and pepper flavor and the green onions and the white onion was raw. Most salt and pepper shrimp dish the greens gets cooked with the shrimp it seemed like they just diced it up and threw it into the bowl at the end. Especially when eating shrimp and only taste bread batter and imagine taking it down with green and raw onions no salt or pepper flavor once-soever. Oh yeah if you don't like mushrooms they batter that too without you knowing. I never seen mushrooms in a dish like this. That salt and pepper shrimp is not what you guys think. If you expecting ramen noodles with shrimp batter in it that's what it looks like without the soup and noodles. Never again order from that place. I wouldn't even recommend it to any one. I took a bite and threw it all away. Really dip it in sweet chili sauce.
Adorable little authentic Thai pop up with great food. Lots of fun!
Pad see ew and eggplant stir fry. Excellent food!
Delicious salad rolls and Thai 🍚 😋
Chicken pad thai. It tasted like scrambled eggs. Just lacking the flavor that a person would expect. Good quality, and quantity, great broccoli. Thai tea was a 5 star. They might have ran out of sauce. Great people.
Excelent food! Fresh and delicious !
Great service also
Super Friendly Great Food!
Thai iced tea tasted watered down and costs 4$ (5$ if you pay with a card) for a medium.
Curry was amazing wish it had more veggies in it and also order a size up on the white rice they give you a tiny side of it.
Very good authentic Thai food at reasonable price, better than formal restaurants even. We’re definitely going back here next time we’re in Portland.
Very delicious ; healthy foods prepared in hygienic conditions!
The food is excellent and the owner is so friendly. Highly recommend the shrimp fried rice and orange chicken. So happy we discovered this spot and that it’s just down the street!
Glad i finally stopped in here. Potentially the best most authentic Thai food in the area? Perfect blends of sweet and spice, very friendly and sweet woman. Will definitely return.

Some of the best shrimp pad Thai I’ve ever had! Nice a spicy, hot, and fresh. 10/10 will come back. 😄
The crab fried rice was incredible — so much more interesting than your average fried rice, and really generous with the crab. The salt & pepper calamari was perfectly cooked and delightfully crispy, with a healthy helping of scallions and mild jalapenos mixed in to keep us on our toes. And the eggplant was the perfect comfort food, without being too gloppy or monotonous. A+ all around! Making this a regular destination.
Stopped in for the salad rolls & Thai ice tea, all I can say is wow! They hit the spot, super tasty & were generous portions. Definitely will be coming back for more!
So bomb that Thai fried rice is bussin 🤤😋
Was skeptical a place had such a high rating, but if anything the 4.9 stars was low. Each of the three dishes I ordered - chicken satay, orange chicken, and massaman curry - was the best I've ever had.
Holy... this was the absolute best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. I got orange chicken, chicken satay, and my brother got the massaman chicken.. wow. Speechless. Will absolutely be a favorite and a regular. Orange chicken was the perfect amount of crispy and beautiful flavor.

Some of the best food in Portland. I used to live down the street from Star Kitchen and would eat there frequently. Now when I visit the city I make sure to stop by.
Fantastic, fresh lots of ingredients , must have
They are the real deal. It's cheap and hits the spot. The food is delicious . Love this small food cart. Keep it .
The people were really friendly, though the wait was a bit long when there wasn’t much of a line. We got two orders of curry here and took it home to eat. It was flavorful with big portion sizes and at first we were really enjoying it - and then halfway through we found three ants in our food (two in the actual curry and one in the rice). That ruined it for us. :(
I used to go here almost daily before I moved. This is probably my favorite food cart in all of portland. Highly recommended!
Amazing Thai food, very impressed!
A good Thai food cart that’s reasonably priced and delivers an above average meal. The (I believe) owner/operator is very nice and I just highly recommend this place overall. Great flavor to my palate.
I’m skeptical of food carts. This place was great! Food was flavorful. The beef was a bit dry but that’s my only complaint.
The food is amazing and staff are friendly highly recommend.
The best food ever... I will visit kitchen star again ...
I like their # 10 Yakisoba, and their #12 Tho Fried Rice...
This place is the best for me. Yak isobar is so delicious. Thank you
I love the pineapple fried rice, and the yellow curry.
Good food. They’re opened every days too.
