This food is made with LOVE. One of the best meals in Portland. The eggplant and tofu stir fry (for mild/medium spicy level) was soooo good. The eggplant got the Thai herbs and spices soled in, the tofu fried just slightly so that the outside skin is crispy and the inside is still meaty and soft. Also loved the papaya salad, the blend of sweet, sour, saltiness was perfect.

so delicious and generous. the chicken satay was so succulent. the cucumber vinegar topping went perfectly with it. nothing was too sweet. the eggplant was tender and creamy and flavorful. I didn't have to add salt to anything.

Very casual tasty Thai restaurant

After we made a quick call to them warning of our approach, PDX Thai was able to seat my posse of 12 and pump out our food in record time. It was all top-quality, and the service and the ambiance was truly wonderful. I had a great time there, and I'll definitely be coming back for more soon!

There is absolute no reason this restaurant has any less than 5 stars. I have never felt someone’s cooking speak to me until I have came here. The taste of the food is so soulful and carefully cooked with love. The staff are very friendly and I truly believe this restaurant is here to spread its kindness and love to the community. 6 star review if I could.

Great Thai for d

We’ve been coming here for a year and a half and have never been disappointed. Their noodles, stir fry, and fried rice are amazing, and so are the appetizers (get the crispy rolls). Also big portions for a really good price. We usually get takeout but the indoor dining is really nice too. Our favorite Thai place in Portland!

I just stopped in for a drink to wait for the bus and the smell of the food convinced me to order some food too. I got the crispy spring rolls to go. Just got home. A full 20-30 min later. Still crispy. They taste so fresh and delicious. I will absolutely be back. The service was wonderful as well.

I love the flavor of the panang curry, but it has too many green beans. Maybe it’s became i’m ordering to-go later in the evening, but probably 90% of the vegetables are green beans. Even a few extra bell peppers in here would make a huge difference. The pad kee mao is delicious and has the perfect caramelized flavor to it!

Delicious food that's also very quick. Prices are very reasonable too. Their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are probably my favorite in PDX.

Food is so delicious! But service is the worst. I was there on a Saturday evening around 7 pm,trying to enjoy the last sunny days and their nice outdoor dinning area, I asked Server Wan if I could eat outside she said only if you order to go I agreed and placed my order to go , I asked for some water and she said no, since my order was to go, it didn't make sense to me since every time I dine in she gives me water on a red solo cup, but I didn't argued, took my food so I can eat it outside on the dinning area ,next thing you know server Wan turned off the outside lights looked at me and laughed. It was so rude that she leted me eat outside but turned off the lights on me. I was hungry so I stayed there eating in the dark . I'm not sure if server Wan is the owner but omg she is evil.

We love this spot.

The cashew nut shrimp was so so good! Everyone at our table ordered it! I also really enjoyed the Thai ice tea.

I went here the other night with a friend and the food was delicious. We shared an order of spring rolls and some red chicken curry. The curry was really good and had a nice level of spice. The restaurant was a little hot, which when paired with the spice of the food did make it a little uncomfortable. I probably will go back for some more curry at some point.

I got my food to go but the employees where super friendly, there was even someone outside picking up trash in the parking lot.

Came in for dinner today and we were served by Wan. She got our order completely right and the food was absolutely delicious! Shoutout to Bob the cook who always makes our food delicious every time!

Delicious and incredible lunch specials

Got pad kee mao and yellow curry with chicken. Both were great. The noodles had a great almost smokiness to them. Curry had a great mix of sweet and savory. Good price, quick turnaround for takeout. Will add it to the list of quick takeout options.

Great Thai place in the neighborhood! The pad kee mao with chicken was great and the shrimp pad ped was delicious. The shrimp salad roll wasn’t too flavorful so I wouldn’t get that again but everything else was lovely.

I’ve eaten here before and know the food is good, but I won’t come back. I have come here and had no issue eating outside, as I still understand that COVID is present in the world and I cannot risk getting sick - that simply isn’t up for debate. On a beautiful evening on the first night of summer, I walk in and request a table for two outside. The server says “outside isn’t open”. The very same outside with multiple picnic tables, plants, string lights, looks open to me. I’ve sat out there before with no problems. Guess my most recent meal here was my last.

I bit into a hard piece of foreign object while eating the Pad Thai. My tooth still hurts from it. It looks like a small black stone. It’s a shame because I would have given this place a four star review if it weren’t for this. Sadly, finding a foreign object that could potentially be dangerous in food is such an off putting experience and this tells me how much they care about the kitchen hygiene. I will probably never visit this place again.

I got the drunken noodle and it was very good 10/10 ! One of the best I’ve ever tried. It is cheaper but the portions are smaller so I would recommend getting extra if your pretty hungry. Definitely coming back !

By far the best Thai in pdx. Just drove 7 hours from out of state because I was craving their wonton soup! The owner and staff are also incredibly nice and always recognize us when we come in.

My wife and I have been eating here once a month or more over the past year and love it. We always get take out since we live close by.

The food and service is always excellent, our orders are usually ready to pick up in 10-20 minutes depending on the time of the day. Basically we can order over the phone and by the time we have our keys, wallet, and drive over the food is ready. Every meal has been delicious with generous portions.

My partner and I wanted to try a new thai place and this one had such great reviews but neither of us were very impressed. I had pad thai w/ pork and fresh salad rolls w/ shrimp (my partner had chicken pad thai w/ fried wontons), both of us had the same reaction to our food: wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. Mostly it was pretty bland and salty - the pad thai was missing any sweetness or tangy flavor I'm used to and the shrimp in my rolls were fairly tasteless as well. The peanut sauce tasted mostly like peanut butter and not spiced or flavored much. Sad to say I wouldn't seek this one out again!

In my opinion,PDX THAI restaurant has the best Thai food in the area...I have had it many times and have always found the food and staff to be excellent!!!

Of all the Thai food I've tried in SE, SW, and Downtown Portland, PDX Thai Dining is my absolute favorite. Good size portions at reasonable prices. Consistent, great flavors. Not overly oily. My faves on the menu are the Garlic & Pepper and the Lo Mein. Their thai iced tea is also wonderful. My favorite part, though, is how sweet the employees are! The owners are so kind. Great little neighborhood spot. Highly recommend!

Love this place. I usually have a hard time finding good wonton soup but the soup here is incredible. Very authentic food. I also love the fried spring rolls and the fresh ones, the deep fried tofu with sweet and sour sauce is perfect every time. Fried wontons are fabulous and the pad thai was perfect as well. They have lunch break between three and 430 so don't expect food during that time period. Grubhubalso delivers for them.

I've had their curry 2x times now, both times have been the most watered down dishes. I'd settle for ok but this is the first time I've thrown out Thai food sadly. Even tried my boyfriends pad Thai and that very was dry and weak in flavor :/

Plenty of seating inside and when the weather is nice, there is out door seating as well. Building has a few Parking spots in front of the building but there is plenty of street parking as well. Staff were friendly and patient with questions. Food was delivered pretty quick and staggered for everybody at the table. Restaurant didn't have an issue splitting checks......just let them know when ordering.
